Fantastic experience: Edited: 8-8-25 I have apparently something wrong with me that my teeth continue to deteriorate, and it is nice that my issues are being taken care of by competent staff. Dr. Andy has helped me tremendously. I’m not an easy patient. I appreciate the professionalism and the fact that I feel like him appreciated as a patient. ——— I want to say that Dr Andy and the girl who did my x-rays today (sorry, I didn't get her name) were extremely pleasant and helpful, as usual. They worked hard for about an hour and a half on and off to get me situated, and they could have gotten impatient but didn’t. I appreciate the professionalism every time I go in there. I haven’t been the easiest patient, so I appreciate their patience. The following is something I wrote last time, and I’ll leave that here: I had a perfect day there today. The lady who assisted the dentist was fabulous. She was conversational and friendly and gave excellent advice. She was patient with me and didn’t make me feel ashamed that I hadn’t been the most remarkable patient. She did a great job and explained everything she was doing. I found her accommodating and comforting because I can’t be the only person who doesn’t like going to the dentist. The dentist is the same one I see all the time now. He does an excellent job for me. He’s patient and understanding with my problem, swallowing all the time when water goes down my throat. I think they both behave very professionally. I haven’t been an easy patient. And I’ve had difficulty with other situations there, but I guess what counts is today. I trust that the next time I come in, I will be treated like today's. I think the worst is when I find out things are wrong with my teeth and haven’t been addressed promptly. For example, I have a lot of dental work that’s failing, and I’ve had some issues with oral health. I had a few teeth, a turn, and dark gray; others were starting to go in that direction. It was scary, and I had to be a little pushy about it. But many of my problems are my fault for not staying on top. I’ve had a lot of stress over the last year or so. I have suffered even more dental problems and too much at once. It’s been challenging for me to choose which issues to fix first, and I hope I have made the right decisions. Now, I have found people who are familiar with what is going on with my oral health; I hope to hold onto them. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I am solely commenting on Dental Hygienists. My personal experience is that Tonya was very caring and considered of my issues and did an awesome job. I have not had a good experience with any of the current other hygienists.

Fantastic experience: Hands down, the best dental practice I've ever been to. Dr. Nora is not only skilled but is also realistic. I never feel rushed or pressured. Dr. Andy has filled in before and I like him just as much. My favorite part is my hygienist Jamie! She is the sweetest, most meticulous, careful hygienist, I never have pains or swelling or discomfort when she cleans my teeth. The fresh squeaky clean feeling last for weeks. I had a fear of dentist prior to Canyon Crest Dental, whether it was rough, painful work or just plain rude and mean staff and denists making me feel bad about my teeth (which are pretty decent lol). I've never got a hint of attitude or sly comments once in four years. Long story short, I'd give them a 6 star if I could!! The whole office is amazing.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient at CC Dental for over 35 yrs. I’ve always been impressed that they use progressive dental practices. The staff is amazing! Dr. Nora & her staff examined, x-rayed, and throughly reviewed my films with me. I’m thankful that they had room in their schedule to complete the work for a temporary crown today. All of the women were extremely gentle, personable, & humorous, during the lengthy procedure. Kudos to the CC Dental team for another amazing experience!

Fantastic experience: When I lived in Riverside, driving 10 minutes for quality dental care was an easy decision. But what if I moved to Wildomar, making my drive 45-55 minutes, depending on traffic? Well, it's worth the drive. Poor dental hygiene is linked to heart disease and even diabetes. So when I see my hygienist Angie, she's doing more than helping my teeth sparkle, she's extending my life! Best of all, when I look in the mirror and smile, I see a sexier version of me looking back!

Fantastic experience: Your waiting room chairs are very uncomfortable if you are a taller person, they are very hard to get out of. Please bring back the small chapstick that you would give us after a procedure, it really helps.

Fantastic experience: I've been a patient here for a few years now and have had nothing but excellent care. The hygienists are among the gentlest I've ever seen and the dentists take pride in their work. I had a few fillings done at one point and there was a tiny seam that was staining on the edge of one and the dentist noticed it on my next check-up and had me scheduled for a quick, free repair. It might have been a few years before I noticed had they just tried to clean it up and I wouldn't have thought twice if I had to pay for the repair at that point so it was quite refreshing to see people have such integrity. I've referred others to this office and everyone has let me know that they had the same great care as I did.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Canyon Crest dental Since 2004. We were living in Apple Valley, and I still drove the distance and then now in Calimesa since 2006. I think this is the best dental office. Dr Brent is amazing & Dr, Joe, and all the staff such as Jerusalem, my hygienist ! I will drive to go to the best. Thank you for such great care!

Although for unknown reasons my blood pressure rises, has to be childhood experiences. Because the actual treatment by Angie & Canyon Crest is Cadillac! As a result, my teeth are the best they can be! For the for seeable future, I have no reason to leave Canyon Crest. I truly dig Angie's dedication to people & her profession! It's all good...

They are always on schedule so never have to wait (like you do in most medical offices), they are professional and friendly. Had to have a filling as well and I've had some bad experiences with needles in the past, but Dr. Park did an excellent job...barely felt it. Highly recommend Canyon Crest Dental!

Fantastic experience: got a same day appointment for a chipped tooth. Provider was available shortly after arrival and diagnosis with a suggested action plan within 10 minutes. Tooth was repaired painlessly and quickly. Patient happily departed dental facility in less than 50 minutes.

Positive experience: I felt the dental hygienist was the best I have had there in many years. There seemed to be issues with my insurance and although it was taken care of the Friday before my appointment, when I arrived, the office assistant asked me again and although I told her it was corrected, she still made a call to my insurance company. That was the third time. I felt only one of the assistants that actually solved it went above and beyond and called me to let me know it was solved. The other two need some customer service training. I felt the two assistants were rather rude and I’ve been a patient there for many years.

Fantastic experience: Hi, I appreciate that Canyon Crest was able to reschedule me since I was not able to make it to my appointment on time on Saturday. Monica put my permanent crown in & tooth seems to be fine. Another dental tech (didn't get her name) assisted with my permanent crown but accidentally dropped crown in my mouth but fortunately i did not swallow crown but I do understand that these things can happen.

Fantastic experience: I get very anxious about going to the dentist. My hygienist was really nice and made me feel comfortable. The visit was great.

Negative experience: If you feel like you are not getting enough spam, this is the place for you. I had my cleaned. I have no issue with the procedure itself. But prior to the appointment I received 3 texts with reminders, and two voice mails. And now yet another text and an email. For god's sake -- this is just a freaking teeth cleaning. Is this really necessary? Years ago I used to get a postcard with a remainder. That's all that was needed.

Met new dentist, Dr. Park, today who was very nice! Love the Christmas decorations as always. Beautiful office! Saw Jamie on Sat, 3/29/25--- wonderful cleaning service as usual. Fantastic experience: Best dentist I’ve been to! The staff are very friendly and explain procedures well. Previous dentists have had messy work that required me to go back, I’ve never had that issue here. This is my permanent dentist for sure :)

Negative experience: I wish I could give this dental office 5 stars, which I would have, as had an amazing service when I called and was given an appointment same day. When I went in, the doctor and her assistant were amazing and treated me with care. The financial lady was also very nice, attentive and very helpful. However, I later called to find out how I should use 2 different oral mouth washes (1 prescribed and 1 not but was told to buy it) and the lady who answered was Bernadette and was extremely rude. She told me to read the instructions on the bottle and I explained that I had, however, was told to also buy the Colgate mouth wash and didn’t know if I should use them together or how I should time them. BUT when I said Colgate I used my Spanish accent and she then yelled three times, it’s “col-GATE.” Since I felt embarrassed, I just repeated Colgate as she had told me. This made me feel uncomfortable as I don’t want to be at a place where I will be afraid to speak and be made fun of or be corrected so rudely. I will not be returning tomorrow 03/25 for my laser treatment nor for my 4 extractions on 04/27. Customers should be treated with respect and not made fun of or get upset when our accent comes up or we can’t pronounce a word properly. What a shame!

Fantastic experience: I had my first visit at Canyon Crest Dental. I had a great experience with the hygienist Bianca, the assistant Maile and the dentist Dr. Nora. They listened and got all my dental needs answered. I would recommend this dental office.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I were looking for a good dentist for over two years. I can tell you when we came to Canyon Crest Dental, we found what we needed. Everyone here is very attentive and knowledgeable. This is a very clean and modern facility. The staff are very friendly but professional. They make you feel very welcome. We're glad we finally found our place.

Negative experience: I’ve been here a few times each time it seems like they’re becoming more and more like used car salesman today. I had an appointment at 1 PM. I showed up to get the rest of my implant done that they’ve already started and now they are saying that I have to pay some extra fees for Scanning which I’ve done to other implants there and never had to do this before I told the lady that I think I’m gonna get a second opinion she says OK no problem. Have a nice day wow all the thousands of dollars I have spent there and this is how they treat me crazy they are a bunch of crooks use car sales people I was supposed to have another tooth looked at today. They didn’t even wanna look at it when I refused the 3-D scan. Crazy I don’t recommend this place at all crooks

Fantastic experience: A fantastic experience with Dr Park! And assistant, He performed an extraction for me, this is 2 days out and I am doing great. I visited twice, short wait times! Thank you! One thing everyone should know before you go, this is a membership dental office. Different pricing with and without. They upsale hard. Parking can be challenging too. That said, everyone is very nice, helpful and professional, The office is nice, clean and there are beverages available..

Fantastic experience: It was my first time here and my experience was great! Check in was simple and receptionist made sure to welcome me and instructed me where restrooms were located if needed while waiting in the lobby while also allowing me to either grab a water bottle or coffee at choice. The assistant, hygienist and Dr all took their time and explained my treatment plan.Very professional and knowledgeable Appreciate all their work. Overall amazing first experience. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: First time here for a Check Up, staff was very kind, assistant Messa, hygienist Samaya and the doctor Dr. Brent were the absolute BEST!! Very kind, informative and educational. They each took their time explaining to me the process, when diagnosing me for cavities they were very patient and explained everything to me and showed me my X-rays. Hygienist had very soft hands, I had no pain when scaling, over all great experience! Highly recommend this office!!

I’ve been going to Canyon Crest Dental for years. Doctor Merrihew, & Doctor Andy are the best. I recently completed the Invisalign treatment. Doctor Andy went above & beyond to make sure that I received the best Dental treatment. This office is located in the Canyon Crest part of the city of Riverside. Really nice place to visit, & The staff is very personable and always good with answering quick questions, & scheduling. Don’t take my word for it. Check it out for yourself. I love this place it’s goood!!!

Fantastic experience: Excellent dentist. It’s a little more expensive for procedures but you’re getting serviced by expert specialists who specialize in whatever work it is you’re getting done.

Negative experience: I am terribly disappointed that you could not accommodate a manual exam. I appreciate that your doctors were able to explain that they must have xrays for everything even if the xray is more frequent than what Delta Dental will reimburse. It is unfortunate that my family had been one of your earliest patients but that you were not able to either take images of the teeth, nor conduct a manual exam to avoid over exposure to xrays, but I respect that that is your new office policy.
