Negative experience: Hard to find the entry door. All I wanted was new dentures. They would not do that without a emergency contact. I don't know if they planned on hurting me just by making new teeth or what but they would not do it without a emergency contact which I do not have
Hi Gene! Of course we do not plan to hurt you at your appointment. For any dental procedure, including making new dentures, it's part of our policy to have an emergency contact on file. This is a standard safety measure in case of unforeseen medical issues during your visit. If one cannot be listed, then you cannot be seen for an appointment. We are required to follow certain rules and regulations and as our patient we must hold you accountable for the same. We are sorry you chose not to list someone and walk out of the appointment.

Negative experience: I went there having my hopes up and you all crushed it by saying my insurance won't pay for my dentures I have no dentures in or at all and won't for another 4 years...and you want me to rank you...what would you do?

Fantastic experience: The office in Franklin IN is always clean, professional, prompt with appointment times and very informative. I never leave feeling dissatisfied or uninformed of my situation. I have had two complete sets of dentures made here and so has my wife. While we opted for a different route for the original set and all of the proceedings at the beginning; we often wish we had gone to Affordable Dentures from day one!

Positive experience: I had a very positive experience with the dentist and the surgical assistant. Both were incredibly kind, compassionate, and attentive throughout my procedure, which made a difficult day much easier to navigate. Their professionalism and empathy were deeply appreciated. However, my interactions with the patient care coordinator and the prosthetic assistant were disappointing. I didn’t feel the same level of support or courtesy, which is concerning since they’ll be my main contacts moving forward. I hope this feedback encourages more consistency in patient care across the team.

Negative experience: The office manager is extremely rude very disrespectful and has no empathy or sympathy for others and clearly, I’m not the only one that she has problems A couple left right before I came because of how she treated them I don’t see why she’s even in office manager

Looking into the appointment notes it seems you were unhappy when Kellie brought up the amount of appointments you have missed/failed. Calling her a b**ch not only to another staff member but to someone you were on the phone with as well. As a very busy and demanding office it is very discouraging to other patient's when you take an appointment and then fail to show. It is also very disrespectful to all staff and the doctor to be on your cell phone during a doctors appointment, especially while using profanity. We hope you find a more flexible dental office for your needs. Thank you!

After becoming aggressive at the pricing you were given, you threw/pushed the dental tray spilling mouth wash all down the wall and floor and creating a mess (feel free to see our Facebook page for a photo). You then told the office manager in front of the entire lobby "f*ck you, you f*cking c*nt." We kindly ask that you never return to our office. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: The dental tech I had today was fantastic!! She thoroughly examined my mouth and dentures. She was very professional and was very thorough and detailed in her explanation of what she did. This was the best visit I have had to this facility in 2 years and I am there every 6 months. I have used this office since 2005.

Positive experience: The staff is friendly and nice but I’m very disappointed over all because I got my first set of dentures from Affordable Dentures and was very happy than 16 yrs later they came out with a set that was supposed to be better then my premiums they called them the ultimate and there is nothing Ultimate about them I got them in 2021 and have had to go back twice now and have a tooth put back in that has popped out and having to pay to put it back in and this second time had to get X-rays for what I have no clue I just wanted my tooth put back in ♀️ $90 for x-ray don’t take my insurance so money out of my pocket $245 to be exact just to put my tooth back in my denture and I wore my old one thank God I had them and they still in good shape after 16 yrs their just so much more thicker than the other ones I’m just really unhappy that I paid 1400 for a set of dentures I’ve had to put $400 more into in 3 yrs that’s bogus to me just SAD
Hi Elizabeth! In regards to the exam and x-ray, standard of care is an oral exam once per year and an x-ray once per 3 years. This is for every patient that walks through the door to be seen. We do follow the standard of care guidelines here at the office. Due to the tooth needing replaced it looks like at your last few appointments they have talked about the natural lower teeth you have and the maintenance that needs to be done with them and the ill occlusion that you have. Negative experience: Went here to get a replacement partial for my husband. Everything you read online is totally the opposite. They won't sell you anything economy even though they advertise it. Beware!
I am not finding anyone on the schedule with the last name Stewart in the last 2 weeks so I am not sure of his case. However, the office does not do replacement Economy appliances as they are only meant to last about a year and are not a replacement quality appliance. This would be correct information. Thank you!

Negative experience: D Still having issues with my dentures. Can't talk plain like used to. All I wanted was for my upper dentures to be reclined as they were a little loose.. The bottoms were only to have a perms soft liner in them. I have no idea what they did to my dentures but they were not the same denture. I have gone there for years and have had a couple no we dentures made there. They ruined my dentures. I never had problems with the uppers before and they are not my dentures I came in with. Completely different. Uppers still loose and hurt. Bottoms a mess and my gums have sores, I can't eat hardly no perms soft. Bottoms are completely different. I paid $855.00. For them to be relined on top, permanency on bottom and x-Rays. The time I have spent there so many times and appointments far apart and no issue fixed. I am looking into finding a new dentist. I don't speak properly as feels like something in my mouth is not right. I know they cannot be my original dentures I came in with. They are looser than when I came in. The bottoms are definitely not right or what I had when I came in. Tops and bottoms Do not fit my mouth at all now.

We looked in our system and we do not have an Ed or Edward Riley as a patient here at the Franklin, IN location. Maybe this was meant for another location?

Fantastic experience: Just went to affordable dentures and implants in Franklin, Indiana. To get a adjustment on my top denture and also my denture that's connected to my implants and they give you 60 days once your implants are finished but they let me come even though my days were up because I have to come from Virginia. So they made a my case a little different. And I appreciate that I went on my last 60 days but told them what was going on with me they made acception on my behalf.I went on July 14th and they didn't charge me. Everyone was so nice and the dentist was great I had no fear with him and he explains everything he's doing while he's doing it.Its clean and easy to get a appointment.I would recommend this office to everyone. Negative experience: On the phone we were told that our insurance WAS ACCEPTED. AFTER we arrived, we were told that they did NOT accept our insurance! Our insurance: 1. Medicaid. 2. Medicare. 3. Humana supplimental.

Fantastic experience: Kellie and her staff are TOP NOTCH!!! Friendly, professional, with a real sense of caring about your questions, needs and concerns. That is rare these days unfortunately. A friendly, welcoming environment that really takes the pressure or nervousness you might have away if you do not like dentists, like myself. After my procedure they were still there to answer any questions I had. I cannot recommend this Franklin office enough.

Negative experience: READ REVIEWS AND COMMENTS THEY HAVE RESPONDED WITH BEFORE GOING HERE... My mother told me about this place how they were super friendly and I should take the 1.5 hr drive and go to them. Worst customer service. Didn't want to listen to the client was rude and rushing you through the process for someone who was going to spend over 3k out of their pocket you would think they would be willing to listen to the client and slow down. All they wanted to do was rush. And the way I was spoken to I will never go back. I am sad the one in bloomington closed down they were friendly and respectful. I would rather spend 10k than go back their for dentures. Edit... the way you responded was even more disrespectful. My daughter did not apologize to you guys. She was embarrassed by how a dentist office would act like that. If the staff at this facility would treat people with respect they would get respect back. I showed up for my appointment early. I was very nice even though my appointment was cancelled due to them not taking my information down correctly. The front staff was very helpful. The doctor was super nice. The 2 ladies in the back were rude. If you dont like people then get a new job. The clients that come their keep you in a job. Hopefully they are held accountable for their behavior. Anyone can read the reviews and I wish I did before I went. The comments to the reviews are disrespectful and dismissing of people and their feelings.

Positive experience: 1st. day-So far good 2nd. day- had 6 teeth pulled and doing great, new teeth are great. If anyone ever need dental work done this is the place to go to, staff and dentist are GRATE 7/8/2025 Went to have dentures adjusted today. The young lady that was doing the adjustments had what you would call bad bedside manners. Maybe she was having a bad day. I hope she has better manners the next time I go in and she has to do any work for me .BUT overall it is a great place to go. (Affordable dentures)

Positive experience: Had computer issues two appointments in a row but were extremely accommodating to ensure everything was done in a timely manner. Never tried to upsell me, in fact, the opposite. Negative experience: -ZERO stars is what I would rate this place. My first appointment and I was 6 damn mins late. 6 MINS!!! After I drove for 45 mins to be here and was told I would have to make another appointment. 6 MINS!! Ladies at front desk were rude and I won't come back. They should reimburse my gas for this crap!!!! 6 MINS!! EDIT: I'm sorry but if I was as you say 8 mins late why would you tell me at that time the dr was going into surgery 2 mins after I got there. That is if my appointment would take 30 mins. Seems like that would have made my appointment only a few mins. And where in your policy does it state how long after your appointment time you can be late. Cause I don't see that anywhere.
You arrived 8 minutes late to a 30 minute appointment. We understand your frustration, and we’re sorry your visit did not go as expected. However, we do have a late arrival policy in place to ensure that we provide every patient with the full time and attention they deserve. Arriving more than a few minutes late—especially for a first appointment—can disrupt the schedule for other patients and staff. It was explained that the doctor was going into his first surgery and by the time you did paperwork and would be seated he would not be available which is why we would need to reschedule. It is not the offices responsibility to reimburse you on gas for your misuse of time management. We hope you find an office to better suit your schedule. Thank you!
Negative experience: Past three months my grandmother has been having to go here and respectfully do not go to this place ! How are you guys fully closed until July 7th for vacation ? I have worked in multiple places they have never closed for “vacation” . The last time we were there someone was just on vacation. It seems like the whole place likes to go on vacation instead of working . And they never like to answer their phones I don’t know how many times i had to call just to make appointment. And I read the reviews I sit in y’all’s office and the staff just sits there and talks doesn’t answer the phone and it barely rings so u guys don’t take over 150 calls a day thats some bullcrap. You guys should not have this business.
Our office closure until July 7th was a planned and announced break for staff rest and administrative maintenance. While not every business takes extended closures, it’s not uncommon in healthcare settings, especially smaller practices. We prioritize our patients' care, but we also value the well-being of our staff. Regarding your comments about phone calls and staff behavior: we understand your frustration. That said, our team does take a high volume of calls, (corporate ran our average call log and we have about 259 inbound calls DAILY and 189 outbound calls DAILY, keep in mind we have 2 front desk ladies as this does not include our call center) and while we may not always answer immediately, we do our best to return messages and accommodate appointments as quickly as possible. The claim that staff are “just sitting and talking” is not reflective of the reality we see every day, and we take offense at broad accusations that disregard the effort and care our team consistently provides. We’re happy to assist your grandmother moving forward, but we also ask that communication remains respectful. If you’d like to discuss your concerns directly or need help scheduling when we reopen, we encourage you to contact us then. Thank you!

Negative experience: I paid over $900 for a partial & then had another tooth pulled afterwards. Scheduled an appointment to add a tooth to the partial, which I was under the impression was at no cost because they state free adjustments for 6 months! They look in my mouth & do nothing else, then tell me it's another $420 to add the tooth! Plus they charge me $30 for the 2 minute inspection & assessment regarding the tooth addition! This place is anything but "affordable!" Price gouging & over charging at its finest!

Our 6-month free adjustment policy applies specifically to adjustments related to the fit of your original partial denture—not to adding new teeth or making structural changes after new extractions. Adding a tooth to an existing partial requires lab work and fabrication, which is a separate service with its own cost, and not included under the free adjustment policy.
The $30 fee you mentioned covers the clinical evaluation and chair time involved in assessing whether your current appliance could support the addition. While the appointment was brief, the cost reflects the professional time and resources used during that assessment.

Negative experience: Never use this office they are a complete waste of time and money. They are not running professional business. They DO NOT care if you go without your dental’s . Impossible to get replacement teeth the same day. Drive a hour one way only to be rescheduled. They will just say they no longer what you as customers. Very sad to see my wife go thru this abuse.
Hi Mark! As discussed with your wife at her consultation (its even hand written on her consent form), her denture was going to require multiple wax try-ins which does make it a multiple day process. We apologize if you find that un-professional. We strive to do everything same day but that is not always the case. Again this was all explained at her consult. She also did not drive an hour to be reschedule. She was seen for her appointment and another appointment was scheduled for her to come back. Maybe try an office closer to home next time if travel time and distance is a concern for you. We have refunded her form of payment and she is free to go to an office that better suites her needs. Negative experience: Unprofessional, rude, & impossible!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!! #1. They don't like to answer their phones! #2. I had an appointment and they canceled because I forgot to confirm it. #3. When I arrived for my appointment I filled out the paperwork except minus my social security number because I felt uneasy listing my entire social security number, especially for private pay. The not so little girl at the front desk told me I was being difficult because i didnt list my social then the office manager said she was canceling my appointment since I refused to fill out the paperwork! (I filled out everything except my social) If their office staff is a indicator of the quality of their work, I'm glad I am not getting work done here! Beware of HIPPA violations. Something tells me they don't respect our privacy.
Hello Teresa! #1. We collectively answer over 150 calls per day not including what the call center answers. We return each voicemail within 1 business day. #2. You received a message that clearly states "ANY UNCONFIRMED APPOINTMENT WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY CANCELED." You did not confirm the appointment so it was canceled. All patients receive this message. #3. As you were told at the front desk we have to have your SS# when you have insurance. You have insurance (a copy has been texted to you), therefor we need your SS#. As a providers office we have to follow all insurance rules. You rolling your eyes and huffing at the front desk does not change that fact. You are not private pay. If you were we would not require the SS#. If you cannot follow the rules of an office, then you cannot be seen. You are the one that was cussing at the front desk and yelling. Stating you were not going to stand here and listen to drones who sit at a desk all day, and that we needed to go get real jobs. Dealing with the public and patients just as your self definitely makes our jobs harder. We are not sure what you consider a "real" job. Calling a young girl "not so little" is disgusting behavior and we are so happy we did not move forward with any treatment with you. We also had several other patients complain about your behavior as soon as you walked out and apologized that we have to be spoken to like that.

Negative experience: Bad experience got told today since I made a complaint with my insurance about the place that they will not be scheduling me a appointment to have my hard reline done kelli was very rude to me would not recommend and was also told I could go elsewhere to have my hard reline done to finalize my immediate dentures and I don't appreciate kelli saying it loudly were all the other customers could hear my husband was sitting in the waiting room and he heard it so I know others did as well very unprofessional

Negative experience: The dentist was amazing but staff was the worst, I had infection they ignored told me go to clinic, dentures did not fit they wouldn't replace would not let me see the dentist waiting to see how long it will take them to resubmit the money to insurance I have stong feeling I'm going to have to have the insurance get a hold of them. Office staff was great until there is a problem I have never been treated so badly in my life. I strongly feel as if the dentist has no clue to this as they won't let you speak to him I told her I wasn't going to leave till I saw him she told other office lady to call the police.
Hi Tammy, after reviewing your chart it looks like your surgery was just done on 03/05/2025. When having a full mouth of extractions and a denture placed it is very normal for a denture to be "big" and "ill fitting". Dentures are made of acrylic and as the bone and tissue heals the denture does not change with it. It takes 6 - 12 months for healing. This is why adjustments and soft liners are needed. It appears at your appointment you asked to speak with Dr. Lewis who is not available for patient complaints as that is what our office manager does. You then told her "I will scream and yell and be as loud as I want until I get what I want." This behavior is unacceptable in an office. You did continue to scream and yell as I walked back up front from lunch as when I heard you I asked Kellie if she was okay over the radio. She advised I may need to call law enforcement if she could not get you to settle. All the expectations of an immediate denture were discussed prior to your surgery as you have a signed consent stating this is what you choose and are aware the denture would be loose and ill fitting during healing. Kellie did offer to refund your insurance for the denture and that refund was done as soon as you left the building. I have texted you copies of the refund information we sent to your cell. Negative experience: 1 very rude staff member. Unprofessional and nasty attitude to every patient I saw her speak with.
Hi Leslie. Since you were not in the office when your spouse was at his appointment and didn't see anything that happened in the office today, we would like to explain what happened. Your spouse arrived for his appointment 1 hour early. He was offered a 2:30 PM appt time. He asked "what is the latest I can come?" and he was then offered a 3:30 PM appt time. He then stated "Ill take that and if it doesn't work, I will call and come tomorrow." To which we stated that is fine! Fast forward to 2:30 PM when he arrives an hour early. He was told "your an hour early but if we can get you in sooner we will!." He then started pacing in the lobby huffing and puffing and cussing, he was asked several times to calm down as walking away and causing a scene was not going to get him anything with our office as we will NEVER allow staff to be treated in such a bad manner. This made him more angry to which he called a staff member a f'ing b**ch. At this time both front desk ladies expressed their concern of his behavior to the office manager as they no longer felt safe with such erratic behavior AFTER being told he would be worked in if the denture was done early. When he finally did receive his denture (early I may add) he continued to stand in the lobby yelling horrible inappropriate things at the office manager to which the other front desk girl felt the need to then chime in and also ask him to leave as it is so inappropriate to behave that way but also to be speaking to woman in that manner to which he then continued to call that girl a f'ing b**ch as well. After he left several patients voiced their concern on how he behaved in the office and applauded the ladies at the desk for how they handled his ill temperament. Hope this helps clear things up on what really occurred at the appointment yesterday as the staff was not rude to him but simply stood their ground after he made a simple mistake on time and we tried to accommodate him, but we will NEVER allow our staff or other patients to be spoken to in such a horrible manner.

Positive experience: The people are fantastic, very friendly and personable. However, the product itself is not, in my opinion, as good as it was the last time that I bought it so I’m not all that pleased with the actual product. I’ve been wearing dentures for 15 years that I bought from this company with no issues, however, these new dentures are been nothing but issues. Hopefully, we can get it resolved.

It appears like you meant to leave this for the Speedway location. You came in for an appointment on Thursday 03/27/2025 @ 7:44 AM. You pulled up your text confirmation and were mad that your appointment was in Speedway and not Franklin. No one at the Franklin location can schedule you for Speedway as we can only get into our system and not other locations. You were then mad that we could not work you into this location as a walk-in when we had a full schedule. We hope you have a great day!

Negative experience: My significant other arrived at the office for his scheduled appointment, only to be met with disappointment. Despite being just 7 minutes late after a 45-minute drive, and a concern for others involved in an accident the office manager, Kellie, was extremely rude. My partner had $5,000 in his pocket, ready to receive his dentures that day, but Kellie's behavior was unacceptable. She proceeded to tell him he could no longer have his appointment that day because he was 7 minutes late, mind you he was late due to an accident in which he stopped to offer his assistance to those involved. He tried to explain this to Kelly but she abruptly dismissed him as if he was late due to negligence on his part. It is concerning that someone in a position of authority like Kelly would behave in such an unprofessional and hateful manner. One can only wonder how she treats other clients and, more importantly, the staff who work under her. My significant other has never been aggressive towards anyone in his life, so it was shocking that Kelly treated and spoke of him so poorly. When I called to schedule another appointment, Kellie was equally rude to me and proceeded to inform me that he was threatening and aggressive. I believe that is called defamationof character. It is unclear what Kellie's issues are, but it is evident that she needs help. When I told my significant other that Kellie informed me of his behavior and they would not take him as a patient going forward, he said we will pray for her to find peace and resolution to her problems that compel her to treat others in such a poor manner. It is frustrating that my significant other, who always conducts himself professionally and is extremely caring and giving, was treated this way. This man will pay for people's groceries without them knowing, or he will buy someone dinner without them knowing. He doesn't ever want them to know and he doesn't expect anything in return. He is a man of God who wants others to see God through him. He has his own business and is the Director of a Men's sober living home. He is in contact with many community leaders, clients, drug addicts seeking help, and many others on a daily basis and he has not ever and would never treat someone in an inappropriate or threatening manner, or abusive, aggressive manner, especially a woman. Kellie's behavior is unacceptable, and the defamations of his character were both disturbing and amusing. He is well-known in this and many surrounding communities, for his caring, genuine and professional nature and I can assure you that there is not a single individual who would speak negatively of him, except Kellie, the Office Manager at Affordable Dentures in Franklin, of course. I have received feedback from multiple members of the community indicating that Kellie has displayed rudeness and aggression towards them. It is evident that Kelly is not suited for a customer-facing position and should be held accountable for her behavior. It is imperative that this matter be addressed promptly to prevent any further mistreatment of clients. Such behavior reflects poorly on the reputation of the business. I am thinking about starting a Facebook Poll about Kellie, so that maybe we can open the eyes of the owner/Manager and to gather opinions on Kellie and her inappropriate actions. Furthermore I hope that the business owner would review the video surveillance to confirm what I have said is the truth.
Hi Michelle. I have reviewed the notes and time stamps from patient appointments. I have also listened to the recorded call between patient and front desk. It seems that on 11/06/2025 Maci at the front desk reached out to patient to reschedule appointment as Dr. Lewis was out ill. (He is the only doctor, so we are unable to see patients if he is out of the office). Note states that "Patient was not happy when I called to reschedule and he hung up on me.) The recorded call confirms patient hung up on her. Patient then came in on 11/12/2024 at 7:48 AM for a 7:30 AM appointment time. That made patient 18 minutes late not 7 as you state. Patient was advised that he would need to reschedule as his appointment was 7:30 AM. Patient then told Maci he was told an 8:30 AM appointment time. Maci pulled up his confirmation text that stated a 7:30 AM appointment time (to which patient had replied CONFIRM). Patient walked out without rescheduling. This was two different occasions that patient had been rude with Maci. We have all documentation in patient chart and thankfully things are timed stamped in our system. I would be happy to send to the patient if he would like them. We are so glad if he really stopped to help someone in need, unfortunately we run by appointment times and often have a full schedule making it hard to work in late patients. Especially when a patient is almost 20 min late. Patient spoke with Maci at the front desk on both occasions. It looks like the only interaction you had with Kellie was when you called to reschedule patient on 03/26/2025 4 months later (which if the office is so horrible, I am not sure why you were calling to reschedule him) and it was explained that he would no longer be seen in the office due to his behavior. Further more it does not matter if a patient walks in with $1 or $20000, we treat all patients equally. Defamation of character is not Kellie simply letting you know chart notes that were put in by other staff members and why he could not be seen here. In the future it is probably best not to hang up on people who are just trying to do their job or walk out because you are unhappy we cannot work you in 20 minutes late for an appointment that is only scheduled for 30 minutes. We hope in the future he finds an office that can work with his schedule. Looks like you also no called/no showed an appointment on 11/06/2024. Hopefully you and your significant other realize the importance of an office that works with appointments and appointment times. And being such important members of the community can understand that when a place of business does work with appointments and appointment times how important it is to show up to the appointment and be on time. We hope you find an office to better suit your needs!

Thank you for the feedback Marty! We are surprised to hear this since Mariah spoke with your wife for over 20 minutes at the front desk to schedule both appointments for you and your wife. Your wife seemed very happy to schedule and had no complaints at that time. I know you were unhappy with the information of your insurance not covering services that have already been billed out but that unfortunately is out of our control. We have to follow insurance rules and guidelines. For example if insurance has paid to have a tooth pulled, another office cannot bill insurance to pull that same tooth number. You either have to go to the original dentist who got paid for that extraction (which I know you had an issue with that office and do not want to return), or pay out of pocket for a different office to do that service. I apologize if you feel someone gave you a degrading look. We see many patients of all kinds and definitely have no judgement here. In fact I believe it was your wife who made the comment that you and your x-ray looked ugly (it wasn't even your x-ray pulled up it was hers). Not us. We hope after all the trouble you've had with other office's you find one to better meet your dental needs!
