Fantastic experience: Today I had an extremely positive experience at DentFirst (Smyrna) with the hygienist, Ms Aurelia. I suffer from great fear of dental cleanings but, from the moment she called me in, with a charming smile and greeting, I felt the fear starting to dissipate. My cleaning was thorough, and I felt no pain or discomfort. She was reassuring (checking constantly to make sure I was comfortable), pleasant, calm, and very polite. Ms Aurelia is temporary, but I would love her to be permanently on staff. I would have no sleepless night before my cleanings if I knew she’d be the hygienist taking care of me. Positive experience: The staff is extremely friendly and my visits are always quick and easy. The location is easy to access just outside the Braves stadium, and their schedules are very accommodating. I arrived as a new patient in early 2025, and will be returning for the foreseeable future. The hygienists are very welcoming and can help you get your dental health back on track quickly, as I came here after not visiting a dentist for the past 4 years.

Positive experience: Dr. Brown is very nice and he always listens to my concerns. If he doesn’t have an answer, he’s happy to refer to the right specialist. I have had some frustrations with scheduling. I’ve only been to this practice 3 times but twice, they called to reschedule. The first time, I was told that my hygienist no longer worked there and they had to cancel my appointment. The next available date was months later.. The second time I was called, I was asked to come an hour later than my scheduled time. Then the day of the appointment, I was called and asked to come back at the original time. The office just doesn’t seem to be very organized, although everyone is very friendly.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Brown is a wonderful Dentist. I have been saw him almost 5years. Before he is working in Perimeter location. After he changes his location, Perimeter staff didn’t let me know. Until Terrible Dentist Dr. Tambot make my health teeth hurt, they let me know Dr. Brown works in this location. Dr. Brown is very patient dentist and explained very clearly. He did filler fast and very well.

Fantastic experience: I moved to the area only a few months ago and actually chose this dentist based on several phone calls to several offices asking questions about insurance etc. and these guys were BY FAR the most friendly and helpful. Fantastic experience: Just had an amazing teeth cleaning and fluoride treatment, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! Negative experience: I don’t want to leave a bad review, but I’ve now waited more than 90 days for a refund that the office promised. -Early 2024: I was in‑network and had dental work done with no issues. -November 2024: I scheduled additional treatment. After the procedure, I was told—only then—that their office no longer accepts my insurance, and I needed to pay part of the bill myself. Because insurance should be verified beforehand, I objected. My insurer paid Dent 1st directly, and the matter was settled. -December 17, 2024: Trusting the office, and it's the end of the year and too late to find another dentist, I went ahead with more treatment, paid out of pocket, and was assured I’d be reimbursed for the difference once insurance cleared. -January 17, 2025: My insurer paid Dent 1st. Since then, I’ve visited the office four times. I've spoken to Ms. Terri several times, and confirmed a refund was due and I would receive a check. -April 1, 2025: My last visit. Again, I was told the check should arrive by next Thursday, and to call if it didn’t. I called, and Ms. Terri was out but returned my call the next day. She implied that the check had been mailed, and she said needed to determine if the check had been cashed. She said she would stop payment and reissue the check. I asked if I could pick it up? She agreed and said she would call me back. I never got a call back. I like Dr Bown, and dental tech Claudia. They’ve always been professional. But waiting months for a straightforward reimbursement is unreasonable. I'm of the mindset that Ms. Terri just doesn't care and refuses to make this a priority. This is just a matter of following up to see that the customer has been made whole. That has not happened....still waiting to be reimbursed.

Fantastic experience: I love all of the staff at dent first. They are friendly and make sure you are 100% comfortable even if it is just a cleaning. Dr. Brown is amazing and instead of finding ways to eat my money up, he make affordable suggestion and you can’t find that at every dentist! Claudette the dental assistant is so sweet! Every time I visit the office, she remembers me and always ask me how have I been and I enjoy having conversations with her. Again, love this office!

Fantastic experience: All The staff at here are very informative, from the X-rays to the gum treatment to the cleaning with Ms. Lisa, who did an excellent job with my cleaning and checking my gums … explaining the different options and explaining the best health treatments for your teeth and gums. I have no complaints at all.. I definitely recommend seeing the staff here. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. The Dr Brown took his time with answering my 1000 of questions and getting me the proper treatment plan I need. I did not feel rushed. Claudette the Hygienist took her time and really has some informative information. It was a great experience.
