Fantastic experience: Very positive experience with this clinic. Even though they were busy, each staff member was responsive, courteous and professional with us. We even had some difficulty submitting a claim to our insurance company and they quickly assisted us with everything we needed to get the claim submitted. Fantastic experience: I had to have an emergency extraction of a wisdom tooth. Dentist Peter and dental assistant Aryana were amazing. The injections were flawless and my stubborn tooth was extracted expertly. Wow! What a great experience with this team. 100 stars!!!!

Fantastic experience: Amber C.,Dr. H, and Becca are absolutely amazing!!! My son managed to break a tooth and was in a lot of pain. We found Emergency Dental of Denver, one of the few places still open on a Saturday night. We drove over an hour. There was a small miscommunication between the scheduling staff member I spoke with and the office personnel.. even woth that, everyone was gracious, kind, and accommodating. They squeezed us in and took excellent care of my son.

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency appointment (or so I thought!) went in at 10, I was not on the schedule. Monica and Lyric at the front were so sweet and got me in! Monica took me back to get an X-ray and was so caring and compassionate! Dr Johnson came right over and was probably the nicest person I've ever met. Reina and Dr Johnson came in and got my tooth out!! Reina and Dr Johnson both made jokes, showed empathy and made me feel so unbelievably comfortable. Fantastic experience: BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! Well worth the hour drive I made to get to Denver. This is the place to go!! Especially those with anxiety and anxious about dentist appointments! Open later than other places and they do everything from cleanings to implants. The whole staff here is amazing! As soon as I walked in I felt welcomed. Amber and Lyric at the front desk were kind and made check in easy and stress-free. The whole staff reassured my worries and were all a delight to talk to. Jada was super sweet and amazing at her job!! Such an angel and kind soul! Talked with me about hobbies/food and made me feel right at home. Dr. Huettner did an outstanding job with numbing and extracting my tooth. He was easy to talk to and very skilled, walked me through what he was doing and answered all my questions. Best dental experience I've ever had hands down. They got me in last minute for a tooth extraction and I would 100% recommend coming here! Monica, Amber and Lyric made sure I was set to go and wished me fast recovery. Easily went above and beyond. Made me feel cared for and I'm so very grateful to everyone here!! Fantastic experience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Outstanding Emergency Dental Care – Dr. Jonathan Moy & Ariana Deserve the Highest Praise I cannot say enough about the incredible care I received from Dr. Jonathan Moy and his amazing dental assistant Ariana. After cracking a tooth late last night while working in Aspen, I had no choice but to make the long drive back to Denver with an exposed root and unbearable pain. I knew I needed immediate attention—and fast. Dr. Moy and Ariana went above and beyond. They made space for me right away and treated my situation with a level of urgency, compassion, and professionalism that’s incredibly rare these days. My case wasn’t easy—turns out I have unusually long 16mm roots (the average is 10mm), making extraction far more difficult than usual. But Dr. Moy worked with extraordinary precision and care for over three hours, successfully removing the damaged tooth and placing the stud for a future implant. On top of that, they also re-cemented a crown that had come loose. Throughout the entire process, Ariana was incredibly supportive, skilled, and attentive. The two of them made a difficult, painful experience feel safe and manageable—and I left with genuine gratitude. If you’re in need of emergency dental work (or honestly, any dental work), do yourself a favor and go see Dr. Moy. His skill, dedication, and heart are second to none.

Fantastic experience: I came in on a Saturday because my inlay popped off. Dr. Moy and Lily were super helpful and quick and explained my options. He paid attention to abnormalities in my xray to check and make sure nothing else was needed. Numbed me at my request. It was about 1.5 hours total so super quick for what was needed. They didn’t try to upsell me or anything. Great experience.

Fantastic experience: My son had an accident and was treated for a dislodged tooth, the doctor performed a splinting procedure to save the tooth. Service was great. Just be aware that they are out of network of the Delta dental insurance and be prepared to pay upfront the full bill. They will not start the service until you pay.

Fantastic experience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Truly Incredible Dental Experience – Thank You Dr. Heuttner & Lily! I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Heuttner and his assistant Lily. I came in needing two teeth extracted — one upper, one lower — and I walked out not just pain-free, but genuinely grateful for the experience. From the moment I sat down, I felt safe and cared for. Dr. Heuttner explained everything clearly, checked in often, and made sure I didn’t feel a thing. The upper tooth came out in under a minute, and the lower one — which needed to come out in pieces — was handled quickly, cleanly, and with so much care. They even went above and beyond by placing a collagen plug in the extraction site (to support healing and bone structure) and carefully stitching the area. It’s the kind of thoroughness and thoughtfulness that shows just how much they care about their patients. Whoever coined the phrase “like pulling teeth” clearly never met this team — they’ve redefined what dental work can feel like. Professional, gentle, reassuring, and deeply skilled. I was SO anxious - I had to urgently get my wisdom teeth removed before two weeks of travel, or else my jaw would have been hurting immensely, and I would have been anticipating the need to get my wisdom teeth removed during the entire trip. Emergency Dental of Denver was open on the 4th of July, and they scheduled an appointment for me on the 5th (because of my availability, not theirs!!) I got them removed efficiently, and they made informed and helpful recommendations for how to proceed. I felt I could trust them and that they would take good care of me. The dental assistant made me feel so comforted in the midst of my anxiety. I was well taken care of before, during, and after the appointment. I even had a question right when I got home from the procedure, so I texted them, and they answered so efficiently. I also want to highlight that even though they didn’t do IV sedation, I felt SO taken care of, safe, supported, and cared for. They walk you through every step, tell you what’s going on, and check in with you. I felt I was offered positive emotional support in the midst of my anxiety, and that was such a treat because the dentist has always been scary to me. They are very patient and caring with anxious patients. I literally could not recommend this place more. I am so grateful for how they supported me (and honestly saved me) before my trips. Fantastic experience: I just got two freaking teeth pulled by Dr Moy and it was scary but Amber C the manger and dental assistant was literally the best energy ever and made me feel comfortable and safe the whole time and kept telling me what was about to happen with such sweet and warm but confident energy and they are both the best and it was pretty much painless just scary and I am so grateful that they were able to take me so quickly and treated me so well and now my tooth that has been causing me so much pain and apparently was SO DEEP AND A TOUGH COOKIE TO GET OUT is OUT because of them!!! yay thank you so much ❤️⚙️ they also have cheetah print vest for x ray and cute flowers great vibes oh and Rayna the other assistant who checked me in and did all my x-rays was also wonderful and welcoming and encouraging

Fantastic experience: Got an appointment same day and they were able to see me very quickly. I had broken a tooth that was very painful and while I elected to not get it fixed the same day, they were able to numb the area and provide me with a treatment plan if I needed to come back and see them. Fantastic experience: What a great discovery to find this amazing place in Denver on the day that I cracked a tooth, which was "hanging by a thread." I couldn't eat or hardly talk, but I was able to visit these great folks at Emergency Dental Care for immediate treatment!. The other issue was that I live in Arizona and was only here in Colorado for a few more days. No problem! I was given a temporary "fix" and was able to return home to visit my usual dental team. No longer worried or needing to nurse a broken tooth I left the office with confidence and gratitude. Thanks to all nthis wonderful staff, from receptionists to Dr. Johnson, DMD, and particular thanks to Kim, the assistant who all treated me with dignity and gentle assurance. Fantastic experience: My husband lost a crown and cracked a tooth on a Saturday, the day before we were to leave on a long road trip. Thank goodness we found Emergency Dentist right away and were able to get him in within an hour. The kind dentist found the tooth was infected and broken beyond repair, extracted it, stitched it up, and prepared it for an eventual replacement implant. Great after-care instructions and Rx provided. I hate to imagine what could have happened if the tooth had broken on the road or if there were no Emergency Dentist in Denver! Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Within 2 hours of me calling for an appointment I was in the chair getting x rays. Very nice staff especially amber at the front. So nice to have some genuine care and concern being out of town and in massive pain. The initial fee for x rays and diagnostics was $130 and there were no other charges. The doctor (Johnson?) gave me some numbing injections with no extra charge. I also left the office with all the paperwork necessary to file a claim and share with my dentist. Love this place!

Excellent demeanour and very skilful as I had a difficult cap to replace and it needed to hold for the remainder of my 2 week trip until made it home. Negative experience: Dr Johnson you refused to pull an infected tooth when I was in so much pain and already had been suffering for weeks, instead you said it was the bite that I had already adjusted the day before. Thanks to you I ended up back in the ER again and admitted into the hospital overnight for emergency surgery to get it removed by an oral surgeon. I asked and begged you to remove it and you just dismissed all my prior history. Absolutely irresponsible. Not sure how you all are an emergency dental office.

When you visited our office, a full clinical exam, X-rays, and a CBCT scan were performed. Based on those findings, there was no clear clinical evidence at the time that the tooth required extraction. In situations like this, particularly after recent root canal treatment, it’s not uncommon for symptoms to persist for a short time as the area heals. Our doctor chose a conservative approach in order to avoid performing an irreversible procedure without medical necessity.
We understand this outcome was frustrating for you. We hope you're feeling better now and appreciate the opportunity to have been part of your care during a difficult time.

Positive experience: In excruciating pain on Sunday of Memorial Day weekend, they got me in same-day and turned out I needed an emergency root canal. Dr. Johnson was a total pro, as was his assistant. He was able to work through an existing crown (rather than replacing it) and, while mildly sore from the procedure, I feel 100% better than I did a few hours ago. The only reason this is not a five star review was the cost: north of $2200 becuase this practice is out of network for me. Still, if I had it to do over, I would see Dr. Johnson & Co. again. Initially, after contacting this dentist office for an emergency problem I was experiencing discomfort on an old root canal, It was advised I needed to get the tooth completed extracted. The dentist Dr. Huettner and his assistant Reina helped me. They were able to extract the tooth and place an implant on the same day. Fantastic experience: The staff are so incredibly friendly, they dont make any rude comments or judgmental faces. One of the front deck receptionists let me barrow their charger because my phone was on the brink of death. They actually listen to their patients needs and get the job taken care off. They have incredible bedside manners, always checking to make sure your okay. They try to get you in as fast as possible for your appointment, but they also take their time while working on your teeth, being as meticulous as possible, it is very evident that they know what they're doing and are damn good at it!! Plus you can get a same day appointment. I'd recommend them, especially if you have a tooth emergency and can't wait for your next dentist appointment. I recommend seeing if they take your insurance first.

Positive experience: Received treatment here for a cycling accident on April 26, 2025. The care I got from Dr. Z, Kim, and the rest of the Saturday evening crew was fantastic. They were efficient, professional, and communicated excellently about my treatment options and needs. I had a follow up on May 3, 2025 with Dr. Johnson and team, and was underwhelmed. The team was more interested in pushing forward to the next procedure (which was NOT addressing an immediate risk) rather than discussing my progress post-op and my options for treatment. I want to commend Kim again for making sure I was able to leave with my CT scans and had the relevant information to continue care at a different dental practice. I am rating this practice 3 stars because the service you get over-the-phone is an *absolute joke*. It took multiple tries to get the desk staff to email me my radiographs and an "itemized receipt" of my treatments. This "receipt" was actually just a jpeg of a screenshot of their billing software, NOT an actual receipt you could submit to an insurance company to file a claim. Want to call billing so you have a chance at getting a real document? They don't answer the phone. The staff kept reminding us to "submit google reviews," presumably because corporate bases the office's performance on this metric--I have my own feelings about forcing professionals to beg the public for feedback so they can get their bonuses--so I want to be clear: the dentistry is excellent to fine. I'm happy I have (most of) my teeth. The administrative service is abysmal. Go here if you have an actual emergency, but find continued care elsewhere.

We understand how important timely communication is, especially when trying to continue care elsewhere. As an emergency-focused office, there are times when we are actively assisting patients in treatment and are unable to immediately answer phone calls. In these cases, we encourage patients to leave a voicemail, and we do our best to return all calls as soon as possible.
Additionally, we do require a minimum of 48 hours to process records requests, including radiographs and documentation needed for insurance claims. We strive to fulfill these requests as quickly and accurately as possible within that timeframe.
