Fantastic experience: The dentist had did a very good job by extracting my back left tooth she was very quick

Positive experience: As much as I appreciate and like this place, the last TWO times I’ve been here they have shoved extra things to fix onto me that I did not sign for at all. They wait until you have a literal hole drilled into your teeth (so you CAN’T back out) then announce that your payment is going to be more costly than what you’ve signed off for. It’s disgusting to do this to people time after time, I’m not financially stable enough to get teeth and fillings added onto things I never even announced were doable or not. Even if it’s merely $10, I do not care- I didn’t agree to have it done. Some of us can’t afford to lose even $10. I know I can legally wiggle out of it because I never signed it off, but it’s a pretty gross tactic to pull just to get some extra money. This is the second time this has happened.

Fantastic experience: One of the best dental experiences I’ve ever had. Everyone in that office from the receptionists to doctor are wonderful. I’m terrified of dental work but found out I needed numerous cavities filled. They talked me through my concerns, gave me all my options, and then got me scheduled. I even spoke with the office staff twice before the procedure to reassure myself and they were so patient and understanding. Day of the appointment, I went with the oral sedative option which I took an hour before the appointment. It only took about 15 minutes before I was feeling good! I came in and they immediately took me back and got me comfortable. They had a blanket for me and I put in my earbuds and listened to funny videos on YouTube. Dr. Chrissy talked me through everything, let me know each step and where she was as far as how close I was to being done. The worst pain I felt were the shots for the numbing agent but that was the tiniest little pinch. The assistant in the room was also wonderful and caring. She finished so fast I barely felt like I had been there. When I was all done, the office staff continued to check on me and asked if I needed anything. The doctor even personally called me later that evening to check on me! 10/10 would recommend to any and everyone.

Fantastic experience: I have a lot of dental anxiety after some negative experiences as a child. The team at Chester Road Family Dental was incredibly comforting and accommodating. Because of them, I’m getting my dental hygiene back on the right track. If you’re on the fence about making an appointment because you’re afraid of the dentist, this is your sign to do so! I’m so glad I chose them!

Fantastic experience: This place is absolutely amazing! I actually have a regular dentist, but they couldn't see me anytime soon. I found them nearby, unfortunately they didn't except my insurance, so I paid their in-house insurance fee to be seen and get my problem fixed. Now I will be going to them for the year as well. Let me tell you, I definitely would spend all that money again for the experience that I had. I wish I had insurance they accepted, but I still would definitely do it again. Each person I encountered was so nice. They listened to my concerns, told me step by step the process, checked on me, they made me feel so comfortable as I have some health issues that cause symptoms. Dr. Katie and Hannah they are so kind. You all are absolutely amazing!

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience during my first visit with Chester Road Family Dental. I was able to get a next day appointment for a consult for a filling I needed done, and was able to get the filling that same day. All of the staff were friendly and I was given a run down of all my options for future treatments. All of my questions/concerns were addressed and I definitely plan to stay here as a patient.

Fantastic experience: My recent crown installation at Chester Road Family Dental went very smoothly thanks to Dr. Chrissy and Brianna. Even though I am a faithful flosser there was a cavity on the back of tooth 15 at my last cleaning. So the choice was to place a Crown there instead of trying to fill it. Dr. Chrissy was kind and did her job beautifully. Now my mouth is in perfect shape again thanks to both of them.

Had to get emergency fillings done and the process from scheduling to procedure was pain free. I didn't even need pain management after the fact! My wife has had extensive work done from extractions to root canals, again with little to no pain. Very, very happy we found them!

Fantastic experience: I can't say enough about this office. I am one of those ppl that has a fear of the dentist, and they do their best to put me at ease. They explain things well, are very honest, and they offer nitrous to help relax. I've had fillings here and a crown, and I've had very extreme pain at other offices but I experienced very little discomfort with my procedures here. I'm so glad I found this place!

I love Brandi, she is a dental hygienist and will listen to your concerns, answer any questions you have and suggest helpful practices to improve the look and health of your teeth. I can’t recommend Brandi and Chester Road Family Dental enough. Just look for the fun balloons outside if you have trouble finding it.

Fantastic experience: Well let me start out by saying I live in Va Beach Va and I was in town taking care of my sister after surgery. I was eating a piece of candy and knocked out one of my fillings YIKES!!! My sister called her Family Denistry and they got me in the same day!! Let me tell you from the time I walked in it was like I was at home. They had really cool music playing not that elevator crap! They had the most welcoming smiles and best attitudes I have ever encountered!! In the waiting room they had Plush, White Leather chairs and they took me in right on time. I know you would think well they must not be very busy…..however they were extremely busy!! Well then I met McKenzie the Dental Hygienist she made me feel so comfortable and is extremely knowledgeable!! McKenzie even asked me if I was cold and got me a Pink, Fluffy blanket and covered me!! Dr. Ethan came in and he had to give me 4 shots and he was so gentle I only felt a pinch one time!! He is Phenominal!! The whole experience was unbelievable!! Then to find out they have their own Lab so I could have Temp that day and get my permanent crown in 2 days was just Great!! Even when I was checking out Claudia was a Doll!! I just can’t say enough about the Well oiled machine that I witnessed!! Everyone is also very Young and Very Happy!! I wish I was local so I could go to THIS dentist truly!!! Thank you, Thank You! Negative experience: Changing my Review the people that work here are wonderful but someone working in the front office isn't honest about insurance and the coverage. Never thought I'd pay almost 400 with insurance for a tooth extraction. Had the second person I talked to about my appt been honest I would have never came and known my insurance would cover virtually nothing. Now I have to go through this process all over again trying to find a new dentist.

Fantastic experience: I was recommended this office from family and friends and I will absolutely recommend this office to others ongoing forward. I have some dental history and knowledge so I'm familiar with how procedures are mainly supposed to go and what could possibly be included in the visit(s)ongoing forward. I haven't been to the dentist in a couple years due to bad dental anxiety and needed a new patient cleaning. I was able to get an appointment with them and I am very impressed and happy I was able to get there today! From the moment I stepped in that door, every employee made the time to say "hello" even if they weren't taking care of me specifically. I had employees ask me if I would like a water or coffee. Everyone had a smile, i know offices have bad days and you can tell when things arent run right, and this office is doing everything right. They make you feel comfortable without making you feel bad about why you're there. When you're a new patient, they schedule you an appointment for a full mouth evaluation to determine what exactly you need and then based on your situation at hand IF they have extra time they could possibly do a same day cleaning if not they schedule you etc. This is very helpful and courteous because it doesn't make you feel "rushed" within one appointment and it also helps if you're anxious just by being there. No other office has given that option, this office took the time to listen to my concerns and we were able to work up a treatment plan where I was comfortable with the work that needed to be done. Nobody made me feel rushed or that it was all for the money. My hygienist Jess was a blessing...I've never had someone be so thorough & so gentle after explaining my situation. It is an amazing thing to be awesome at what you love to do. I saw Dr. Jang, he was awesome as well, he didn't beat around the bush , he was very straight forward with his information and his table manners were awesome. He wasn't in and out like a lot of other dentists, he took the time to answer my questions with respect while being professional. This was an awesome appointment, again I have never been to an office like this one....this one stands out. They care...it's great. ❤️

Fantastic experience: I had a crown replaced and a lower right partial replaced. The dentist, Dr. Christy, did a fantastic job. I am very pleased so far of how comfortable the partial fits. All the employees were very professional and explained all steps of the procedures during all 3 visits. Now I can smile again!!!

The staff is super friendly, and attentive. Although I need a decent amount of work done, they took their time to explain the process, the cost, and financial options to me. The hygienist was so kind and answered all of my questions, and the X-ray tech was so personable. Overall an amazing experience, and I will highly recommend them to friends and family in the future.

They are always thorough with cleanings and routine exams, very gentle and thorough with treatments I have received such as fillings and a crown put in, as well.

Fantastic experience: Today was my first time coming here. I am very pleased with them. The waiting area is very comfortable like being in a living room. The staff and hygienist very courteous, gentle and knowledgeable. The dentist really puts you at ease explaining what needs to be done. I highly recommend this practice. March 2025 I had Dr Ethan Jang to do remove old filling and replaced with new one. He is very professional and friendly. He did an amazing job. I even had a coughing spell at the beginning he was very patient and even got me water.. I highly recommend him. I need to have a crown soon and I hope he will be the one to do the job.

Fantastic experience: The front office people are very friendly and welcoming and Dr Chrissy is very friendly and most importantly professional and very gentle with whatever procedure that she’s doing to you. She makes you feel comfortable and relaxed in the chair and she’s very communicative with what she’s doing with confidence that makes you feel relaxed.
