Positive experience: I didn’t have the choice of choosing True Dentistry as I was under the impression Golpa merged with them and that is not the case. After Dr.Woods explained it all to me I was able to understand. I was very satisfied with Dr. Woods and Sophia.

Negative experience: We booked our follow up cleaning a year out and all our travel flight , hotel and car. They called two days before our appointment and told us they need to cancel are appointment. Now that I had to pay more now for the new last minute flight change to get here and have spent 23 hours traveling here to jump right back on a plane to go home. I hear in the office, the front desk is canceling a lot of other patient appointments. July appointments are getting move out to now August. What is happening here? They really need to get the scheduling figured out here. It not easy for all patients the change their appointments. Any when I trying to say something to her, she was VERY condescending and NO Empathy on how much we have gone through to get here.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to this office. I experienced a loose crown on my implant and although not an emergency, I was accommodated quickly. I’m very fortunate to have found True Dentistry as the staff is top notch and professional! From the moment you walk in you’re greeted with a warm smile and a happy greeting. Dr. Julie is a master of her craft and just amazing at what she does. I was in and out in record time and my tooth never felt better. Gabby, Karen and the receptionist (I didn’t ask her name, I’m sorry) are personable, professional and have amazing customer service skills. I thank everyone who helped me out today.

When I got there , I found a very nice office and staffs , Karen came personally to introduce herself and knowing how I was feeling ! Doctor was very nice and took care of my issue ! Negative experience: I just had a baby so I know I wasn’t brushing or flossing properly so I had some build up, but omg the dental hygienist who worked on me was so aggressive, I know it’s supposed to hurt but I feel like this lady was being so extra. I’ve had bad cases before when I didn’t used to take care of my teeth and this was beyond the worst it’s felt ever during a cleaning.

Positive experience: Rachell is amazing and she takes her time to provide a great cleaning. She has been consistently amazing year after year! Some how I was not scheduled with her this time. The lady was very nice but I did not feel she took the time ensure it was done right (I don’t remember her name). It felt very much rushed and she was rough with the cleaning tools in my mouth, I didn’t feel like she wanted to be there cleaning my teeth. Doctor Willardsen was super sweet and took the time to talk my plan through with me which I appreciated and it showed that he cared. Thank you Rachell and Dr. Willardsen for being amazing!

Receptionist seemed to know everyone and even greeted us by name when we walked in even though it was our first visit. If I even had a before picture to compare to my smile now, that’s all you would need to book your appointment. I get so many compliments on my smile and that is all thanks to the team. My blood pressure would always run high at a dentist appointment. After going to True Dentistry that is no longer the case. You are well taken care of and education is shared. They won’t try to sell you something you don’t need like other practices often do. I moved states and tried another place and was met with let down after let down to the point I recently flew out 3 times just to be taken care of by True Dentistry they are that worth it. Negative experience: UPDATE: Sadly, I have to change my review of this place, demoting it from five stars to one star. Since I last made my review in 2021, I moved to California and my new dentist discovered that there was a HUGE cavity still hiding beneath the crown that Dr. Brown placed. Look at the picture I’m sharing to see how big it was beneath the crown Dr. Brown installed. From the picture it is obvious that Dr. Brown was negligent in cleaning and preparing my tooth properly for the crown. Additionally, the new crown I just had placed in CA made it clear that the crown I had done at True Dentistry was even poorly fitted to my mouth. I am sad to share this because I really trusted True Dentistry and paid close to $1,000 to get my crown done only to have to pay another $500 out of pocket to have it redone because of their negligence. Not only has their mistake cost me money, but I have also lost my time and suffered extra pain because of all the work it took to redo their mistake. It is worth noting that Dr. Brown is no longer listed as a practitioner on their website, however, I still believe the senior dentists on staff should have caught on to his poor judgment and sub-par work before he caused problems for their patients. It is their responsibility to ensure that only the best work is done in their office and they failed to catch this glaring mistake. I do not recommend this dental practice. They do not do proper diligence to make sure you get the best care no matter who you see. I will never be back. All the fear I have about going to the dentist (see my first review at the bottom) would be back twice as bad because of True Dentistry if it wasn’t for how great my new dentist is and his attention to detail. UPDATE: Today I got fillings and a temporary crown. Dr. Brown and Angel performed the procedures and did a great job! Actual working time where they were working on my teeth for all three things was only an hour and 10 minutes! Angel was very considerate and made sure I was comfortable. She also did a great job selecting the right color for my crown. Both she and Dr. Brown were so efficient, friendly and made sure I had all my questions answered. I feel numb on the side of my face they worked on because they used a local anesthetic- I barely felt the shot to begin with and the whole thing didn’t hurt at all. I felt some pushing and they were great about not pulling my jaw off my face to get to my teeth. If you’re scared of the dentist and don’t know where to go, THIS is the place. So glad i found Dr. Brown and this place! ——- I’ve been avoiding getting my teeth cleaned for almost a decade because I am afraid of the dentist. I finally decided I needed to overcome my fear because I was having tooth sensitivity. I tried a place that was good but the doctor I had retired so I needed a new place. Everyone was very supportive and helped me get appointments quickly (they’re really good at helping you get in when there are cancellations- I even heard Elle, the receptionist making courtesy calls for this while I was in the waiting room!). They even researched my insurance before I got to the appointment so they could help me determine any payment necessary up front. My dental cleaning was not scary - the dental hygienist (Rochelle) was very gentle and efficient and funny so I wasn’t scared. The hygienist also had great recommendations for brushing the area I was struggling with and told me about special lozenges I can use to help with dry mouth. She was helpful and knowledgeable. They took a full set of X-rays and pictures and Dr. Brown came in to see me with a complete idea of what was going on and a treatment plan - no waiting for him to look at X-rays. So glad I found true dentistry!
