Positive experience: I chipped my tooth on a Friday evening (how inconvenient) so I searched and found Emergency Dental of Colorado Springs. They told me to come out and I’d be seen pretty with little wait. Super friendly, quick, and transparent service. Highly recommend for all treatment. Unfortunately they do not accept my insurance (tricare dental) or it would’ve been 5 stars. Only $90 for x rays, dental exam and treatment plan options.

Fantastic experience: You never know when YOU will be the person in need of emergency dental services. I visited yesterday on 8/3/2025 to discover a big crack in a back tooth. I can't explain how painful it was, but what I can explain is what an awesome job Dr. Keller did, taking care of a stubborn back tooth. My only complaint -- I do use my insurance actively at another dental office. However, they could not seem to process my insurance, which I'm sure would be a big deal to most people who need help. Regardless of this, I'm thankful to find extremely competent dental assistance on a Sunday afternoon. I was ready for a bullet!

Fantastic experience: Where do I start!! This place is amazing. I had a true emergency and this was the only place that would get me in. They returned my missed call and scheduled me right away. It was a reasonable wait time, and the entire staff was friendly, helpful, and respectful. When my extraction began they were fast and more importantly gentle. We left at 9:30 p.m and the staff was still working hard. When you have a true emergency, it’s nice to have a place like this with dedicated employees. NICHOLAS YOUR AMAZING!!

Fantastic experience: Very grateful for my experience here! My last dentist clearly didn't do a good enough job with a filling I got 6 months ago, leaving me with jaw pain for months. Eventually this got to an unbearable point, with all the pain focused on that one tooth, so I decided to go to Emergency Dental & got a root canal. I was there for about 5hrs & felt taken care of the whole time. The crown for that tooth only took 2 weeks to arrive & they let me come in that same day to quickly get it put on. Luckily, they are open much later than other dentists. The crown fits so well, I can hardly even feel it. It's a bit on the pricier side but that's to be expected with emergency services & completely worth it to now be free of dental pain!

Fantastic experience: I came here in the evening with extreme pain, and they gave me an emergency root canal. I felt no pain during the procedure, and the X-rays looked good afterwards. Fantastic experience: Enduring a bad toothache from noon Saturday to noon Sunday, I was beginning to feel desperate. I was curled in a ball crying on my couch for hours. I had called my own dentist emergency line and got a recording. They returned my call and said they could probably see me Monday, possibly Tuesday. That wasn't going to work for me, lol. If I hadn't found Emergency Dental.of Colorado Springs, i would've driven myself to the Emergency Room at the hospital I guess. But Emergency Dental got me in at 6pm on a Sunday evening. The facility was a little sketchy looking and they didn't have the newest nicest furniture/equipment compared to what I'm used to, but they were gentle, caring, and professional. Within an hour of my arrival Chantel and Doctor Keller. I'll have to inquire about their names again and edit this review. I owe them a world of debt for fixing my dental issue and relieving my pain. I don't know what I would have done without them.

Fantastic experience: This place couldn’t be better. I came in right at closing with severe jaw pain from a broken tooth I let go too long. Everybody was more than accommodating and helped get me out of a long pain before they closed for the night even though they didn’t have to. They finished my root canal around 11 and I feel so much better already. If you have an emergency, call ahead and get an appointment for here. They’ll fix you up!

Fantastic experience: I called for an emergency dental appointment on a Sunday and was seen the very same day with no waiting in the lobby at all, which was such a relief. Nickolas was incredibly kind and really helped make the experience easier. The doctor was just as kind, calm, patient, and very gentle throughout the whole process, which made a huge difference. Both he and Nickolas took their time to make sure I was comfortable and informed every step of the way. Nickolas even played music during the procedure, which helped calm my nerves. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. Let’s be honest, no one enjoys dental work, but they truly made it as painless and as stress-free as possible. Fantastic experience: Had a cavity forming on a front tooth. Dr Keller did a full exam and found a few other problems too, including a root canal I had from comfort dental that missed a whole canal. Now I can get that fixed properly before it gets infected! Very happy. Will come back!

Negative experience: Just dont. I went in with a broken crown last Monday. I left that day with procedure options to go over costs and by the next day I was ready to make my decision and the office was randomly closed. I called time and time again to find out that they’re extremely short staffed and provide no notice to the public that they were closed, which can be understandable HOWEVER, emergency places should have better plans in place. Even on a staffed day, they’re unreachable. I had no instructions for my procedure and didn’t think I’d need my crown since I was told there was no saving it. I tried calling before my appointment to make sure and yet again no one answered. Got to my appointment, prepaid $2000 and then was told that they’re phones weren’t really working and when I asked about 1) my crown, I was expected to make another 40 min round trip to get it because “they had time” and 2) when I asked about the anesthesia consent, I was told “oh that’s broken too, if we used it the office would experience effects of it before you would.” I’m still without a fix to my tooth because I’m still waiting to be refunded my $2000. They’re using fake accounts to boost their reviews and hide the bad ones. Be careful.

I received a notification that almost 10K of my care credit was charged for services not rendered. Due to this, my credit dropped by 78 points which impacts me severely since I'm currently in the middle of putting in applications for new rentals. Once I got the notification from Care Credit, I called multiple times on a Friday, was promised a call back from office staff which was NEVER received. Called back this morning & encountered a rep who would greatly benefit from some customer service training. I was in the office for several hours before I was evaluated and x-rays were taken. My childcare provider of my special needs son was constantly texting/calling to ask what was taking me so long. Office staff was aware of this, which I why I didn't receive any of my care plan that day. I was told by this rep that it's "patient's responsibility" to know how Care Credit works. Normally I would agree with this, as I advised her, I work in the medical billing field, I know how this works. However, I think if you were going to charge someone's credit account for almost 10,000.00, you should probably let them know you're going to do that. I felt taken advantage of due to the situation. Really crappy billing practices & even crappier billing customer service. Now my credit is ruined while I wait for them to refund my Care Credit, I'm upset, I truly feel like I was taken advantage of within the moment, and I will not be returning due to this. All quite unfortunate, since I received top notch care from the providers.

Negative experience: I made an appt in the middle of the night for 9 AM on Saturday for an emergency extraction due to a broken tooth becoming infected. I arrived at 8:47 AM and they let me sit, crying and in pain, for 2 hours while they tried to get their payment system back up. Whatever, cool, fine. Their payment system worked fine to take my $90 for the exam! Eventually the manager came in and said I could hang out and wait - in pain - until it came back up and pay $550 for a simple extraction or they’d “call me” and I could come back. What. The. *<%#?!?! So it’s ok to let someone sit there crying in pain while you get your jollies off chatting about your kids with other patients, but you can’t even offer me Orajel for even a BIT of pain relief?? I get it, you want your money more than you care about patients. I plan on calling the dental board about that. I know they don’t sign Hippocratic oaths like doctors, but that kind of behavior is unacceptable. Go to Emergency Dental Care USA down the road instead. Don’t bother with the AI generated “we’re sorry” response when you can’t even be bothered to remove the part that ChatGPT says is an “empathetic and caring response” because none of you can’t even properly apologize for being greedy.
We’re really sorry you had such a frustrating experience. We know dental emergencies are incredibly stressful, especially when you're in pain. The last thing we ever want is for someone to feel like they’re not being cared for.
Unfortunately, when you arrived, we were dealing with an unexpected outage in our payment system. We had our team actively working with IT for over an hour to get it resolved, and we were doing our best to keep things moving in the meantime. You were seen for your exam and X-rays, and we made every effort to keep you informed and offer options, including getting you back as soon as possible once the system was online again.
Our team truly cares about the people who walk through our doors. We’re not perfect, but we always try to do right by our patients. We sometimes use tools like ChatGPT to help us double-check that our responses respect patient privacy and stay within the guidelines we’re required to follow. It's not about being cold or scripted, it's about making sure we’re careful and thoughtful in how we respond.

Positive experience: I was in an enormous amount of pain, but I managed to fill out all the paperwork beforehand, and when I got there paid the $90 fee, but then once I was sitting in the chair they wanted me to extra-double-prove I had insurance I guess? I had brought a printout of my primary insurance and also provided them with the secondary insurance, but then I was supposed to log into a website to really really prove I had insurance? Or something? I couldn't, I didn't bring my work laptop or phone with me (why would I?) and I never imagined that an insurance card wouldn't be good enough. I was on the edge of hysteria from the pain when I got there, that sent me over the edge, and I never really understood what the problem was or why I was supposed to show them on a website that I had insurance, I couldn't really parse what they were saying. Fortunately about that time I got a text from my regular dentist, bless him, that he could meet me at his office in a couple of hours, so I left. Tbf, it isn't their fault I was so pain addled that nothing was making sense to me, but the whole thing was surreal, and I was sobbing by the time I got to the car. The dental assistant (Nicholas?) was really nice, as was the doctor, although the receptionist/assistant who was sitting behind the desk was less than warm. They did give me a card so I could get a refund of the $90, which I do appreciate. Just be warned that if it isn't regular business hours it may not matter that you have insurance. Or secondary insurance. Or an insurance card.

Fantastic experience: The pain started and I did not know what to do. I found these guys on Google. When I made my appointment they saw me the same day got me financing; I am on the way to getting my mouth healed, finally! The doctor was very liberal with the antiseptic and I was very pleased with the service of the entire office staff. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful and made me feel very comfortable.

Fantastic experience: My teenager broke his front tooth Friday night and we took the first available appt on Saturday. Negative experience: I went here in desperation as I was traveling from out of town and had a cracked tooth in pain. The dentist said he could fill it. Proceeded to jam the novocaine into my jaw. Sent me back to my hotel with no paperwork, no information and no pain meds. Ended up in the ER, and it has still been downhill from there. I am 4 days in and i. So much pain from muscle spasms and swelling I am in a different city now but still not back home. I have had to call my dentist and my doctors to get prescriptions. I am wondering if this guy is even a dentist. If I hadn’t of been so desperate or read these reviews instead of google I would have toughed it out with the cracked tooth. He did more damage than good. Plus I bet I never get refunded my out of pocket once the insurance paid. So mad at myself for falling for this sham. Stuck in another state in pain swollen face. My regular dentist couldn’t get me in anytime soon, and I was in so much pain—it was hard to even think straight. Fantastic experience: I stumbled into this place in desperation, suffering some of the worst dental pain of my life and mentally addled from a lack of food. Erin (I hope I’m spelling her name correctly) got me checked in with compassionate efficiency—her sympathy for my pain was evident, which was a much needed psychological comfort. Despite being fourth in line I was called in for X-rays relatively quickly and Erin once again treated me with genuine concern. I didn’t have to wait too long for the dentist to come in and give me some injections to numb the pain. Rachael, the dental assistant who came in to take more X-rays and pictures, was an exceedingly pleasant person and further added to my sense of comfort there. I even liked the dentist who was a young, no nonsense man with an easy bedside manner. I cannot remember the last time I felt that comfortable in a dentist’s office. As far as I’m concerned, everyone I encountered there were superheroes. I highly recommended Emergency Dental of Oklahoma City for anyone in need of dental work, especially for those who share my trepidation associated with going to the dentist.
