Negative experience: Would not recommend. Had a consultation for my daughter to get a tooth removed back in December. I called starting in January and left messages through the front desk staff for the treatment coordinator, asking questions about certain aspects and things that needed to be done prior to the extraction - never received a call back until July 2nd. It is now July 15th, and they still haven't gotten her scheduled, the last time I spoke with the treatment coordinator was on July 7th to get her scheduled and still havent heared back. I had paid the $1300 for the anesthesia team, filled out paperwork, and had went ahead and gotten my daughter's physical done without knowing how long it is valid for (one of my questions for the treatment coordinator because our doctor's office was concerned about it being done too soon prior to the extraction - but I never got a call back on it). I understand that they had to coordinate with an out of town anesthesia team for pediatric sedation and figuring out schedules could take time. When I called today requesting a refund from the anesthesia team, they gave me the doctor's number and I called him to leave a message, and he called back almost immediately. So I am not sure why it would take more than a day or 2 for the office to call me back. So much for trying to get my daughter's extraction done during summer break and my maternity leave. Also, spoke to their billing staff 2 months ago and said, "I was wondering what our patient portion to you would be after insurance." And she asked me to repeat myself because apparently she didn't understand that, so I did. And she responded with, "Yeah, we don't pay anything to insurance." Ya don't say? Because that is not at all what I had asked about, and don't talk to me like I am an idiot. But I also never got that answer because they had to leave a message for the treatment coordinator, who never called me back. They may have given me a print out at our consultation and I lost it, but I dont remember getting one and it had been 5 months since that appointment.

Fantastic experience: A Professional Experience from Enter to Exit. Every professional in the office was Friendly and Welcoming. The Dentist had a One on One session with me. He explained the Entire Process for my Extraction. Always give me an opportunity to ask questions. This reduced my anxiety. My Extraction Process was smooth, fast, with no pain. This was a Experience. The Dentist even gave me a follow up call to make sure I was doing ok. I recommend the Omaha Clinic to anyone. Everyone in this office gets a Hand for an Excellent Customer Service Experience.

Fantastic experience: The staff at the Millard location is wonderful! I believe the name of the assistant I had was Ella. She was incredibly friendly and caring, and went out of her way to make me feel comfortable and taken care of. Ella stayed with me the entire time and talked to me while I waited for the procedure to start since she knew I was nervous which truly helped calm my nerves. Dr. O’Brien was very knowledgeable, straightforward, and efficient. He even called to check in after I got home. The level of attention and care the staff gave to each patient was truly amazing and I would highly recommend going to Omaha Oral Surgery, specifically the Millard location!

Fantastic experience: I just got some of my wisdom teeth removed today and so far I have had an amazing experience. The people were understanding of my desire to not have all my wisdom teeth removed at once and respected my decision. They were very kind and they explained everything they were doing as they were doing it and gave me all sorts of stuff to take home to help with healing, including a recipe book to make foods that are easy to eat afterwards. I highly recommend this place, everyone was so nice!

Fantastic experience: I had 4 wisdom teeth extracted under IV sedation 4 days ago by Dr. Racker. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and eased my nerves about the whole process. I had a big fear of not only the surgery but the lengthy recovery I had expected due to having one fully impacted and one partially impacted. It’s very evident that Dr. Racker moved carefully during the extractions, because I have so far had extremely minimal swelling/bruising, and next to no pain at all. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with this procedure, and I want to graciously thank Dr. Racker for his outstanding work.

Fantastic experience: Would give 10 stars if I could. Dr. O’Brien extracted a fractured molar and removed remnants of two wisdom teeth during the same visit. Everyone was professional, polite and very helpful answering my questions. I do not recall her name, but the dental assistant was excellent. Dr. O’Brien did a great job and was very efficient; got there at 1200 and was driving home by 1300. This included the consult. He also personally called several hours later to make sure everything was going ok. You just do not see that kind of service these days. I had zero swelling and zero pain after the procedure. I didn't need to take any pain relivers and only iced my cheek/jaw once, when I got home. Could not have gone any better.

Fantastic experience: Great experience. The doctor and team were helpful, attentive and friendly. My extraction went amazing. I wasn’t groggy after and my site looks really great for day 2. The tori shave down and stitches were precise. Great experience considering and work completed looks amazing.

Positive experience: The experience was good, I felt no pain and the recovery has been excellent. Very professional, however they did not tell me in the previous appointment that I had to bring a companion and that bothered me. My daughter had to leave her job unexpectedly so that I wouldn't miss my operation. It is important that the preoperative instructions inform this.

Negative experience: We recently had my wife’s dental surgery at this center, and while the medical care was excellent, our overall experience was mixed. First, I want to give full credit to Nurse Eli, who was outstanding. He was supportive, attentive, and took great care of my wife. He truly deserves 5 stars for his professionalism and kindness. Unfortunately, the reception and billing staff were the opposite. Their attitude was dismissive and unprofessional. After dropping my wife off for her early morning surgery, I took our kids to childcare and was on my way back when I received a call—not to inform me about my wife’s condition, but to ask about payment. I was shocked that their first concern wasn’t about updating me on my wife’s surgery but about collecting payment. Even after I explained my situation, they continued to behave rudely, as if I was trying to avoid paying. My wife had already informed them I would return shortly, but they didn’t seem to care. Additionally, their demeanor in person was cold—no smiles, no thank-yous, just a generally unpleasant interaction. While the medical team deserves praise, the lack of courtesy and professionalism from the front staff left a sour impression. I hope the management addresses this issue, as it detracts from the otherwise great care provided by the medical team.

Fantastic experience: First impression was the cleanliness and modern design of the facility. I had a wonderful experience. I was a bit anxious to get all my wisdom teeth removed at once, but Dr. Schadel went over all my questions, concerns and possible risk. Staff was very friendly and reassuring. Shout out to Sharon and all the assistants, and nurse that made this experience even better.My recovery has been great, they go over post op instructions very thoroughly, I love that they even include a mini cookbook. The process was super smooth, and I was surprised at how easy the recovery was I had no pain at all and just a bit of swelling that went down the next day. Fantastic experience: The experience was a lot easier then I invisioned it to be. It's not bad at all. The tooth was out, and I didn't feel anything because of the nerve block he injected, so as long as we don't imagine things, it can be an in and out experience, but the KEY is do exactly what they tell you for pain, and that includes setting an alarm for your pills, get up & take them, day & night , and it will be fine. And WARNING: Do Not use a Straw, to drink anything with FOR A WHILE. You will get a Very Painful airpocket. I didn't, because I did what I was told to the "T". R.D.H. JULY, 2024

Fantastic experience: 5 stars! I would give 10 stars if my computer would let me! The receptionists are so friendly and helpful. I had trouble doing the online “paperwork” before my appointment. I called and the receptionist problem-solved with me. Whew! Got it done! Dr. Racker is amazing. He worked me in to pull my tooth the same day as my consultation. He is so kind and gentle— kept checking to make sure I was ok. He even called me the evening after my appointment to make sure I was still doing ok. My follow-up appointment with Dr. Racker was very thorough—he took time to answer all my questions. Again, he was so kind and concerned. And.. even the billing department has kind people! Fantastic experience: Hands down the best experience that I could have had! Got me in the next day after an initial consultation. They explained everything thoroughly and were upfront about all the costs of the procedure. The first day I was there for my consultation there was a high needs patient and their family member in the lobby. The front desk staff were incredibly patient and kind, they went above and beyond! Was able to have my procedure done the next day and I was in and out. They are fast! They made sure I was completely comfortable and the nurse that inserted my IV did an excellent job! Negative experience: If I could give a zero I would. They kept going back and forth about how much money I owed them saying that they didn't accept my insurance and then they did. I showed up for surgery they said I owe them $210. I forgot my credit card at home, so i left andcame back 5 min later for them to tell me I now owe them $300 for the surgery I said I don't want it if its going to cost more than what they quoted me. They came back and said ok 210. I asked you're not going to charge more in the future right otherwise I don't want the surgery they said no. It's a year later and they're calling me saying I owe them $70. They said it's part of their process to not give you a correct price upfront. BEWARE

Fantastic experience: Extremely friendly. Best dentist office I've ever been to. Make you feel very welcome and made sure my son who has autism was very comfortable and eased his nervousness. Would definitely recommend them and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else if ever needing dental work/surgery again.

Fantastic experience: We were recommended to Omaha Oral Surgery from our orthodontist Dr. Morrison at Omaha Orthodontics for treatment for our son. We were very impressed with the staff and prompt appointment. Dr. C. Schadel was very comprehensive and answered all my questions and my son's. The day of the appointment we got their and checking in went well and waiting room clean and set up for social distancing. They came to advise they were running a tad behind, and we were kept updated. Before taking my son to surgical area they reviewed everything with me again. I waited in waiting room until they came and got me when he was in recovery ( little over 60 minutes) Recovery room was very clean and inviting. My son was comfortable and relaxing until it was time for him to leave. Angelica helped him during recovery and went over all post procedure practices with us. She was super nice and knowledgable. She was very kind and answered my questions and was able to decipher my son'd questions through the gauze :) She made sure we understood everything and gave us our baggie with everything we needed, then she helped us to car. Appreciate all her help and the wonderful timeline sheet so we know exactly what we need to do. Dr Schadel called later that evening to check on our son. We missed call but he left a message advising why he called and how to reach him in case we had questions. What a wonderful personal experience. A nurse called day after to insure all was still going well, our son was feeling well and we did not have any other questions. All and all this was a great experience with staff and doctor. My son was very happy with how everything went as well, and said he always felt comfortable. We would 100% recommend the Omaha Oral Surgery office.

Negative experience: I read all of these reviews and am sad to say the experience was horrible. They made us feel like we were horrible people because my daughter was uncomfortable with one of the dentists. They kicked us out. “We were not a fit”. Sorry she felt uncomfortable but we were willing to see another dentist. I never yelled or got upset but did ask a lot of questions about how they do things. They didn’t like that. I could guess why but I won’t.

Fantastic experience: My dental hygienist is cute. Every time I visit, I eat a whole package of Oreo cookies while waiting in the lobby. Sometimes she has to cancel the rest of the afternoon’s appointments. -Steven Wright I’m funny, you’re giggling. All jokes aside, I needed an extraction unfortunately that I let go after six weeks of having cracked a tooth. I was in pain with high levels of anxiety. The extraction was painless even without twilight anesthesia. Like any parent that has had consecutive work on their children’s smile (extractions and braces), you’ll understand the importance of having their wisdom teeth removed. I will be sending my son Dr. Racker. Here’s where you go.

Fantastic experience: This office is absolutely phenomenal. The Lincoln office wasn't able to see me for even a consult for a month and a half. I much preferred to give natural birth to a elephant than to live in the excruciating nerve pain from my broken tooth that I was experiencing. This office not only got me in for a consult within the week, but I was also able to "upgrade" my consult to have my tooth extracted a few days prior. The office staff were wonderful! Very kind and professional- also very prompt. I arrived about 20 minutes before my appointment time and I was taken back quickly. There was very little to NO waiting from my consult time, to seeing Dr. Elias, to procedure. Post procedure the nurse was right with me and I was comfortable.. Dr. Elias is AMAZING! Kind, caring and professional. He explained his treatment plans, and allowed me to ask questions and explain what I should expect post procedure. I elected to be sedated and it was amazing! I highly suggested all patients choose this route if possible. Best 20 minutes of my life. Valerie & RN Mary were very kind and also professional. They too answered questions . I have ALOT of anxiety and talk ALOT when I'm nervous. Both ladies allowed me to chat & joke with them and this seriously helped me through my stay. I would definitely make the drive from Lincoln to this office e again! Bonus points- they have ice cream upon discharge, just ask!

Fantastic experience: Very good experience. 14 year old had wisdom teeth removed. They alleviated our nervousness and the procedure was quick and relatively painless (as painless as it can be). It's weird to recommend this stuff, but they did a very good job and deserve the recognition.

Fantastic experience: I needed a tooth extraction and my dentist recommended Omaha Council Bluffs Oral Surgery. I cannot say enough about the helpfulness of the staff. Everyone is so friendly, and made me feel at ease. Dr. O’Brien followed up with me personally that evening. I can’t say enough about how a very unpleasant experience turned into a great experience. Negative experience: My daughter had her wisdom teeth removed in June of 2022. On the date I was told to pay $584 up front even though I objected and said they had not ran it through the second insurance yet, and would get paid that $584 thru them, they forced me to pay. Since that June '22 date I have called a dozen times to get them to give me back the $584. They have been paid now from both insurances, so they are literally OVER the amount of the procedure itself, and could easily give me back the $584 and resolve this issue, but they will not. Each time I call they say they are waiting on insurance and will call me back. Nothing ever happens. I call both insurance companies and they both show evidence of payment, and I proved that and this office still will not do anything. Each time I call , regardless of who I speak to they assure me they will call back in a few days and literally that has never happened. At this point I feel they have stolen the $584 from me as I have no recourse to get it back. I would not tell anyone to go to this office, based on this experience. It's been awful. I have several dentists we deal with since my children are grown and we have never had an issue like this. Literally shame on this business, what a horrible customer service experience and awful business practice.

Fantastic experience: Got a appointment on short notice for the wife. I could not be more pleased with the staff, Doctor and how we were treated. It was a pleasure to deal with them. I highly recommend them. Say “Hi” the Doctor Blair for us. He explained everything and did a great job for us. If we need more dental work done we will go here first.

Fantastic experience: I got my wisdom teeth extracted here by Dr Racker. From the consult to the surgery he was very professional. The nurses and front desk ladies were very nice as well. I had a great experience with them and would definitely recommend to friends and family!

Fantastic experience: I had my first visit yesterday and it was amazing!! From check in to check out, all staff was so kind and great!! I had 3 wisdom extractions and I have no pain at all today. I 100% recommend.

Negative experience: I hope I can save someone from the frustration I have experienced with Omaha & Council Bluffs Oral Surgery. The first procedure was done incompletely and forced me to go back in for a corrective procedure, which caused additional complications that persist today. I was pre-authorized by insurance. The office required pre-payment for the procedure. The billing department failed to process my claim timely and then held my payment for months. They did not return a single phone call in all that time. I had to call only to leave yet another message. If you need oral surgery, find a different surgical center. I hope no one else has to go through what I have been through.

Negative experience: We had an appointment to be evaluated for wisdom teeth extraction. Price seemed high so we went for a second opinion. The total cost to have the procedure done at the other office was $70. This place sent us a bill for over $200 and hasn’t responded to phone calls or letters just randomly sends us bills. They also took unnecessary X-rays as our dentist had already provided those. Had we actually had the surgery here it would have cost us over $1000 more than where we went!

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough about Omaha Oral Surgery. Everyone was incredibly nice and professional. Everyone went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and at ease. I would recommend them to anyone! Dr Caleb Schadel was my surgeon. He even took time to call me the evening after my surgery to personally check on me.

Dr. Racker assured me he could do better and he absolutely did. I had two teeth extracted and it was as painless as you could expect. Thank you, Dr. Racker! Also, the staff is exceptional.

I had a lot of anxiety about my procedure, but he calmly explained everything and really made me feel better about the experience. Everything went super smoothly, and the take home instructions were super clear. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I had a broken abcessed tooth that I had put off for over a year. The pain became unbearable so i went and seen my normal dentist. He recommended these people to do it. I had a consultation where the Dr took and reviewed x-rays. He went over everything and answered any questions I had. The main reasons I put this off for so was because of anxiety and I thought it would cost a fortune. They gave me a fair price and reassured me this would have minimum pain. A week later I went in for a tooth extraction and everything went smooth. If the procedure would have lasted 5 more minutes I would have been asleep, that's how good they are. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. My only regret is waiting so long to get this done. I highly recommend this team for they have completely erased all fear and anxiety when it comes to dentistry.

Fantastic experience: I got my wisdom teeth out for my first surgery ever. It was a quick and easy experience, and everyone made me feel comfortable from the start. The only thing is that my doctor seemed irritated when he came into the operation room. And that's the last thing I remember before falling asleep. It was unnerving, but everyone has bad days, so I forgive him. They explain the whole process, and ask if you have any questions, the whole time! Great experience overall. I am now on my 2nd day of recovery, and I don't have any noticable swelling, and haven't had to take any Oxycodone yet. I've already recommended this place to my cousin to get hers out!

Fantastic experience: My son and I had a great experience with Omaha Oral Surgery. He got his wisdom teeth out-between the staff, scheduling, surgery, and recovery it was a positive experience. Make sure to ask how much it will cost you out of pocket when scheduling though that would be the only thing I would say otherwise-Thank you for a good experience Dr. O'Brien!

Fantastic experience: Everything was calm, clean, and easy. I had to have a tooth extracted that was causing me horrific pain. They got me in as soon as possible. When I got in everything was clean and warming. I was nervous but my nurse/dental assistant (not sure their title, I apologize) made sure I understood everything that was going on and made sure I was comfortable. She never made me feel more nervous. Dr Raker was amazing. He kept me informed from.start to finish on what he was doing and what I should expect. During the surgery he checked in on me multiple times to make sure I wasn't in any unnecessary pain. Overall this place made fear of tooth extraction not so worrisome. No one likes to get their tooth pulled but if it has to happen this is the place I'd recommend. Amazing work.

Fantastic experience: Dr. O'Brien and his staff were excellent, kind caring professionals. My implants went smoothly from start to finish, even though I was very nervous about this kind of procedure. I would do it again and I can't say enough about Dr. O'Brien, and I would give him 10 stars.

Negative experience: The staff was friendly and visit was great. The issue we have ran in to, we have two insurance providers and they only processed through one. We paid about $800 at the time of the surgery because they did not run the secondary insurance before the procedure. It has been over a month with multiple phone calls made to the office regarding this matter. They advised it has been handled but there is NO pending claim through our secondary insurance provider.

Fantastic experience: Dr. O'Brian and and the staff are amazing. I had to call for an emergency wisdom teeth extraction. I was able to call and get in that same week. I have always feared the dentist due to my own past experiences, so when I could not take the pain anymore I made the call here. As someone who is deeply terrified of dentists, I can happily say they made me feel calm and confident in their ability. They took very good care of me and tried their best to keep me calm. I went under twilight and even the nurse who put me under held my hand and did her best to keep me as calm as possible. I don't remember anything obviously, but I can tell you that the next day I was barely in any pain at all from extractions. They did an amazing job and I can actually say they helped me a little with my fear of future dental visits. I would highly recommend Omaha Oral Surgery and the team there. If I need anything else done in the future I will definitely be calling them. You are in good hands here.
