Fantastic experience: Dr. Ha and her assistant were really nice and good! Our daughter enjoyed the dental hygienist a lot! She thought she was really nice and funny! Our daughter is 11 years old. We will be back!

Negative experience: I paid $2800.00 for a set of dentures. The upper plate has broken 3 times. First time it broke it was repaired temporarily until a new plate could be made (took about amonth). Received the new plate and in about 4 months, March, it broke completely in half, straight down the middle. No problem, went back to the office and it was remade (no charge). Then July rolls around. 3 months after receiving the new plate, it breaks completely in half in the same spot (straight down the middle). Take it back to the office. No problem they have the scan from the previous visit and the can have the new plate back in a week. Problem: Now to get a new plate it will cost me $1,221.00. It seems to me if it keeps breaking completely in half in the same spot and along the same line, something is wrong in the fabrication of the plate. A little back ground. I have had dentures since 2007 and the only reason for new ones was a tooth finally broke.

Fantastic experience: They were all very nice and friendly and the office was very clean and inviting.

Negative experience: EDIT JULY 2025: I’m editing this review from five stars down to two and will explain why. I still absolutely love Dr. Ha. She has been a game changer in how I’ve been able to approach dental care; I even fell asleep while getting a bridge redone! (This bridge is where a lot of my dental fear stems from.) Now on to the issues: Three Rivers stopped accepting my insurance earlier this year. I get it…they want to make money like anyone else. What pains me is that they were one of the very few truly good dental offices that accepted the insurance I had. Oral health is closely linked to all other health, especially cardiac health, and I already have a heart condition that is comorbid with my other chronic conditions. I feel like people like me (disabled people) who have medical problems already and are lower income - and therefore forced to be on Medicare or Medicaid - are already struggling so much. We are then forced to choose from providers who honestly don’t even rise to a reasonably acceptable standard, much less a good or great one, so losing a provider like Dr. Ha is crushing. This happened to come right in the middle of needing more work done too, so I have to change dentists to someone totally new - and likely someone less good - when I need more serious dental work done. ADDED TO THIS, I initially considered attempting to stay with Three Rivers, so I had a cleaning scheduled, which they CANCELLED over a week in advance of the appointment because I hadn’t confirmed the appointment??? Who confirms appointments that far in advance? I want to be fair here and disclose everything - I DID late cancel on them several times last year due to serious issues with my heart and they were so kind in continuing to work with me during that time. But I also was clear in communicating when those emergency issues passed, including being able to reschedule the appointment immediately prior to this one in a timely manner. I had every intention of being at this cleaning appointment! I do know that my insurance probably didn’t pay as much as Three Rivers would have liked to receive - and I have insurance that has a general cap and covers EVERYTHING, with zero patient responsibility, so that leaves a thin or zero margin for things the provider already doesn’t make much money on. As someone who used to be in the medical field, believe me, I get it. Three Rivers isn’t running a charity. That being said…I feel like the practice grew quite quickly from a family feel to a much larger bougie aesthetics clinic (which of course will do well in this area for those with money), and that meant that patients like me who NEEDED a practice like the one Three Rivers started with got ditched. I’m not trying for pity or to play a victim here. I’m simply bringing up these points because I don’t think a lot of people realize how much growth like this impacts people in marginalized groups who truly can’t do much to change their situation, and I feel that we still deserve excellent care and a path to improved health alongside the business growing too. That’s all I have to say. You can probably tell I’m disappointed. I gave this some thought before changing my rating, because I am very upset to have to change dental practices and seriously worried about the future of my oral healthcare as well as the related ramifications on my other health conditions. ***** Ok, you guys legit won't ever understand how amazing it is that I'm writing a positive review about a dentist. I haven't had a good dentist in years. In between I have had EXTREMELY bad experiences with dentists, to the point where I had become scared to go even for cleaning. However, this practice is so wonderful. Everyone is really nice and they're patient with me and my fear of dental work. Plus, I like that the doctor is more on the conservative side in terms of getting work done. Most dentists that I have seen want to completely rip my mouth apart and redo everything. I feel like at this office they make efforts to preserve what is already there and not do unnecessary work. I'm very impressed.

Fantastic experience: Everyone in the office had a fantastic attitude. From the time I hit the dental chair, they walked me through the tests , what they were doing through the exams and impacts to me. I was able to make fast decisions on my care plan and get my next appointment scheduled. They were so great, I went ahead and scheduled my kids appointments.

Fantastic experience: My visit on 07/09/25 was great. Wait time was short 10 mins maybe. Shelby and the young lady that handles the insurance were very nice. They took the time to answer future procedure questions and questions I had regarding my insurance. I’ve been coming here for 5+ years first time meeting Dr Connolly. He took time to explain to me what I thought was a serious issue was just a small fix.

Negative experience: I made an appt in Oct 2024 to address pain I had been having since getting a filling from another dentist. The first appt was a nightmare for someone with dental anxiety—an hour of pictures, x-rays, and scans of my teeth, several of which had to be redone. I spoke to four diff people, often repeating myself. They diagnosed me with “periodontal disease,” which after reading other reviews I see is their way of charging you for a more extensive cleaning than the free one provided by many insurance companies. I’m not sorry I got the deeper cleaning, but I wish I'd known it wasn't as scary as they'd made it sound. They also discovered a new cavity where food was getting caught between my molars, which could be contributing to “some of the pain.” It didn’t explain why the pain started in the first place, and they didn’t attempt to probe further other than to tell me to buy a mouthguard and stop gritting my teeth. I returned in Nov. so Dr. Ha could fix the new cavity. As she was testing the bite after, the space between those teeth was really tight, and I almost told her to leave it that way since food getting stuck there is what caused it in the first place. I didn't and immediately regretted it when i felt how large a space she'd left. Sure enough, the pain persisted, but food was now blatantly getting stuck there, and I realized when I flossed constantly, the pain disappeared. Trapped food had been irritating the gums, triggering the pain. I made an appt in Feb. 2025 for a regular cleaning so I could share my findings, and both Dr. Connolly and the hygienist agreed Dr. Ha had left too large a space. He told me to come back and they would replace the filling for free. Unfortunately, they made the appointment with Dr. Ha again. Instead of redoing the filling, Dr. Ha told me to tell her about the pain—the pain I’d been telling them about for four months. The pain that brought me to this office in the first place. I’ve gotten multiple x-rays and been told to buy a mouthguard twice, but now that her workmanship was being called into question, it suddenly “sounds like something else was going on.” I was instructed to get yet another x-ray. She returned and said, “Yep, there was something else going on.” An infection was “starting.” Really? There was no infection in Oct. There was no infection during my cleaning in Feb. Yet now she’s saying the tooth is dying and that’s causing spacing issues, even though I felt her leave that gap in real time and had it confirmed by another dentist. So either I paid for a filling that never should have been given in the first place, or it still needs to be redone. To make matters worse, she did not show me the x-rays or explain the situation. She said she was going to get a referral to an endodontist and would be right back, but she sent her assistant instead, who could not answer my questions. I asked her to get Dr. Ha and was told several minutes later that she was in the middle of a procedure. The assistant told me I could ask her the questions and she would write them down and ask Dr. Ha later. I was not given the option of waiting for Dr. Ha to finish, or of talking to anyone else. I left a message that same day asking another dentist to back up Dr. Ha's assessment, but I never heard back from anyone. I am at least grateful they forwarded my x-rays to another dentist without trouble, since they’ve taken a ton of them over the last four months. Overall, the office is nice and scheduling appointments was easy, but I didn’t like the way I saw a different assistant each time. My hygienist was great, but I never knew which dentist I would see, and all three assistants I met were hesitant and inexperienced, which exacerbated my anxiety. I’m sure that method allows the office to schedule more people, but it just made me feel like I was a product on an assembly line. Dr. Connolly seems to really believe in the quality of care provided, but unfortunately, I do not feel I received that during my time there.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ha was a delight! She was so professional, detail-oriented, and personable. I felt so taken care of and will be absolutely coming back. Cannot recommend enough.

Negative experience: Edit update: The office manager reached out to me and asked for us to come in for a cleaning. I agreed and brought my daughter in as well. The hygienists we saw were amazing and did a great job. However, when we went to the front desk to check out, I was asked to pay $130 for services that should have been covered by insurance. I asked for the office manger who promptly informed me that she would take care of the charges because what had occurred was insurance fraud- in other words, my insurance was charged for a cleaning that was not provided a few months back. As much as I DO like the dentists and the last two hygenists, I do not think we will return. This business has lost my trust. ******* I have been here three times. Once for myself, once with my son and once with one of my daughters. The office environment is pleasant. Staff are overall courteous and friendly. The first visit was ok. The hygenist seemed a bit confused about the office process so I guessed she might be new. The second visit was wonderful. We walked in, received the scheduled services and left. We have seen all three dentists there. Dentists are great. But our third visit turned into a mess. I had scheduled a cleaning. That is not what happened. . Instead, we spent a large amount of time with the hygenist trying to take a special x ray which she later stated wasn’t necessary, but the dentist just liked to have it for their notes, then was told to reschedule for a cleaning but they don’t have any openings for months that would be after my child’s school hours. Missing school is NOT an option. We had already taken time away from school and work to go and expected the cleaning that we made an appointment for. In an hour and a half, we managed to have x rays taken and see the dentist. I tried to discuss this with the dentist himself but he brushed it off and told me to talk to the front desk. I and my children do not have any dental issues so a simple cleaning was all we asked for. So, at this point, we are stuck. Because THIS dentist saw her for an exam, I can’t see anyone else for 6 months unless I pay out of pocket for a new provider to perform an exam so we aren’t getting a cleaning for a year.. I expressed the concern about not having a cleaning both before and after seeing the dentist and I stated that we had made an appointment for a cleaning so I truly don’t appreciate the attitude that my time isn’t worth anything to them. I hate this because they are in a convenient location and have great dentists, but with myself and three kids, I cannot entertain the idea of up to 8 appointments per year when there’s no reason for it. I am now looking for a new provider.

Fantastic experience: As much as I hate going to the dentist, three rivers makes it enjoyable as possible. Very clean, efficient and professional.

Positive experience: Haleigh was wonderful. However, after confirming that my insurance had covered all services rendered, my wife's visit a week later incuded being billed, not only for the services she received, but mine as well. Asked to explain, she was told that their relationship with our Insurance Provider (Blue Cross/Blue Shield) was up in the air (after years on end of accepting it) and that payment ahead of processing any claims is now required. Being advised of that up front is the very least any patient should be able to expect. Extremely disappointed. If an appropriate credit to our card charges isn't forthcoming, we will be ending our relationship.

They called me back right away and got me in within an hour (no appointment) Everyone in the office was so nice and kind, the Dr. was able to extract the tooth I was home within the next hour. This was my first time to this Dentist (new patient). A broken tooth is a painful experience, the care I received was exceptional, best dental care I have ever received! Great staff and Dr. !!!

Fantastic experience: Three Rivers has been my go-to dentistry for probably 7 or 8 years now, and I do not plan to change that. Even after moving to Nashville, I still drive to Murfreesboro for my dental needs. Unfortunately for me, I’ve had tough extractions, multiple crown placements, and tooth implants, but I’ve always been treated with great care. The staff is very friendly and informative! I’ve never had an issue with billing. I recall that they even fought to negotiate a deal with Delta Dental to ensure their patients could continue being treated without worrying if their insurance would be accepted. When I first came here, Dr. Connolly was the only dentist. So, I feel like I’ve watched this place grow as it’s added more doctors and services. I recommend this place to anyone!

Fantastic experience: First appointment today to meet Three Rivers after moving here from out of state. I had wrong time in my calendar and showed up an hour early. Front desk was super kind, greeted me and said I would need to wait until scheduled time and didn't make me feel bad. I ran errands and came back 10 min before appt and was called in right away. Dental Hygienist was relaxing and made me feel at home. She did all the X rays, scans and questions to inform treatment plan for Dentist. I was worried because I knew all my issues and was super confused by my previous dentists about next steps. Dr Connolly came in dressed as Santa and was honest, straight forward and saved me a lot of money to get my teeth and mouth fixed and where it needs to long term be without paying for who knows if it will even last procedures. I was highly impressed!

Fantastic experience: I, like many others, do not like going to the dentist. Three Rivers has changed that for me! It’s a wonderful practice and Dr. Ha is fantastic. The reception staff and dental assistants are all friendly, professional, engaging and knowledgeable. The office is spotless and my wait times have been minimal. Aside from that, they do great dental work and are very thorough. I feel like my oral health could not be in better hands. I’m so relieved to have found excellent dental care with a warm, supportive and caring environment!

Fantastic experience: Excellent facility. The sweet dental assistant, Karley, welcomed me recently and put my nerves at ease during a routine exam and cleaning. I've never enjoyed trips to the dentist and finding someone patient and kind seems to be a thing of the past. Would recommend this practice and make sure you go on a day Karley is working.

Fantastic experience: I wanted to give special acknowledgment to Seth and YOUR MOM (and Dad) for raising such a compassionate, caring, empathetic young man. Having extreme dental anxiety, I was quickly put at easy by having Seth as my Dental Assistant. His calm, kind nature was so refreshing. Negative experience: This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with a dentist. I moved to Murfreesboro for college and needed a new dentist due to problems with my wisdom teeth and pressure on my jaw and ears. I scheduled a wisdom teeth removal consultation. Upon going to my consultation, they did a teeth cleaning instead of the consultation that was scheduled. When I told the nurse multiple times this was a wisdom teeth consultation, she said that she didn't think that this was what it was supposed to be. She told me to talk to a receptionist after she was done and said that I was "Adamant about trying to get my wisdom teeth removed." I had to see a whole different person that did scans. After scanning they said that "It wasn't something that needed to be done right now" even though they were causing me pain. I was offered Invisalign as they said that they would take care of the problem with the pain and the pressure. I MADE IT VERY CLEAR, "I DO NOT WANT INVISALIGN IF MY INSURANCE WILL NOT COVER THEM." Being that my dad is in the military, we have GEHA for insurance. The nurse came back in, saying that this was great insurance that would cover most, if not all of the cost. I told her that I would not go forward until I had guranteed numbers. I left and she called me back in December saying that they were running a special along with my approved insurance that would cover all cost and all I would be responsible for is $500. After going through the full treatment and paying my portion of the agreement, I have been sent a bill for almost $4000. They didn't send off to insurance until after treatment was completed. Now insurance is saying they never approved the Invisaligns and told the office that the way the billing person put in the claim, it was said that they were for cosmetic reasoning. They told the billing lady the exact words to put for them to cover the Invisaligns due to the pain I was caused being the reason they recommended them to me. I even personally went into the establishment and spoke with the receptionist because, again the billing person was not there and they didn't know when she would be back. The billing lady submitted the same exact form 3 TIMES! By doing this she burnt up all three of the appeals. I am now stuck with a $4000 bill because of their negligence. I made a trip there to speak to someone and she looked into my account. She offered a payment plan and said that the minimum plan that they could offer me would be $600 a month. I told her, with me being in school full time I could not afford that. She said she would talk to the billing department and call me back but never did. I have tried calling the office multiple times to discuss the bill. Each time I am told that there is no one there from billing that can talk to me and that they will leave her a note to call me back. Do you think I ever received that call back? No. But they have no problem sending constant reminders and bills. And to make matters worse, after taking off my Invisalign's, they didn't get all of the raised filler off of my teeth that held the Invisalign's in place, but I refuse to let them touch my mouth again. Horrible experience and I wouldn't wish this on anyone.

Fantastic experience: The doctors and staff were really kind and are very professional at their jobs. The place is always clean when I walk into the building. I had never been thankful for the doctors helping out with my teeth. I recommend it to people if they want a good dentist to go to.

Fantastic experience: DR HA and her staff Is absolutely AMAZING. She took her time to explain everything and was extremely informative and answered all of my questions and took her time to explain all the things I need and a plan to get everything done. She was extremely gentle and never made me feel uncomfortable at all. I have extreme anxiety at the dentist and she made me feel very very comfortable. I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK TO SEE HER!! If I could give her 10 Stars I would.

I can promise you that Three Rivers dentistry made me feel comfortable and at ease. They were knowledgeable and informative. I have a great fear of dentists and they put me right at ease. Maria and Dr. Ha along with everyone who works in the office was absolutely wonderful!

The visit didn't turn out as I expected but the resultant situation is good. My pain has been relieved for the time being and I have a chance to get my cardiologist's involvement. I had reservations where my kiddos were being seen previously and wanted a new environment and a second opinion, and I could not be more pleased!! Negative experience: This is a review about the importance of transparency. I broke a tooth and could not get in to my regular dentist. My fiancé encouraged me to try Three Rivers as he had a good experience. When I called and made the appointment, I told them I broke a tooth and provided my insurance information. I was told I was out of network however, they still encouraged me to come in as the repair would be covered by insurance but not the office visit of $75.00. I go in for my appointment and before anything is started, I told the tech my insurance provider and stated again, I am out of network. She leaves to go talk to someone about my insurance, returns and tells me “they’re looking in to it” and proceeds with x-rays. Finally, the dentist comes in. Yep, I broke a tooth. The dentist left and the tech returns and shows me a price sheet. $1,500 without insurance, $667 with insurance but *surprise* there are complications. When the tech couldn’t answer my insurance questions, I was told to ask the front desk. I go to the front desk and not only am I out of network, another *surprise* my insurance did not renew coverage with Three Rivers. When I asked when coverage would be renewed, I was told it could be next week or 90 days. They put me on their notification list. Seriously? Seriously. I have a broken tooth. Why didn’t they tell me about the non-renewal when I booked the appointment and gave my insurance information or when I provided my insurance information again at check-in? I paid $75 for 23 minutes in their office and left with the same broken tooth I arrived with. Never again.

Fantastic experience: Amazing office. Every person I came into contact with was wonderful and friendly. Leah the hygienist was amazing. She fit in my cleaning on the same day so I wouldn’t have to drag my kid back a different day. I had to bring my son with me and everyone was so patient and nice to him. I definitely recommend this office.After going another time i still feel the same. Many of the people in the office go out of there was to accommodate and entertain my son while i get my teeth cleaned. Love this place
