Fantastic experience: The best treatment I have had at a Dental Clinic by far and I've been to many before finding Dental Depot in Highland Village.The staff is very nice, friendly, and professional. The hygienist, the doctors, all personal, are very kind, answer every question, and do good great work.

Negative experience: It started when I walked in. One receptionist was assisting a customer and the other was not. I waited 2-3 minutes before I was acknowledged. Customer service says "if on the phone, and a customer walks up to the desk to acknowledge with a nod or hand gesture." Acknowledgement is important.

Fantastic experience: I drive over an hour just to come to this Dental Depot location — that’s how incredible they are. From the moment I walk in, Angel at the front desk is an absolute major-league superstar — always friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Sam, my masterful hygienist, is truly amazing: kind, thorough, gentle, and incredibly patient. I have pretty intense dental anxiety, and she always helps me feel calm and well cared for. Alexa, the superstar assistant, is fantastic — efficient, attentive, and always one step ahead. And Dr. Zhang? Hands down the best dentist I’ve ever had in the entire DFW area. He doesn’t just treat teeth — he genuinely cares about people and their comfort. If you’re looking for a team that truly goes above and beyond, this is the place. They’ve earned every one of these five stars — and then some. I’ve been a loyal client for 12 years, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Negative experience: I originally simply described my experience as “Nightmare” but the business responded and asking what went wrong so I will oblige. I came in to this location to get 3 wisdom teeth removed and regarding the procedure and follow up; they were extremely sufficient. However, the issue with this location was due to the front office staff, poor communication and lack of accountability. When I came in to get my wisdom teeth removed I unfortunately did not have my insurance card on me and they said they would need to charge me out of pocket then reimburse me after my insurance company audits the procedure. They originally told me this would take 1-2 weeks for the insurance company to audit. I followed up with Dental depot 2 weeks later asking about an update and they informed me that the information I was told was incorrect and that the process actually takes 4-6 weeks. At week 5 I decided to call back and was told they were aware of the situation and they would have a manager call me back. They did not call back and I followed up the next day and was given the same song and dance. Yesterday I call back, admittedly irate with the use of choice words, and explained that I was extremely frustrated with the lack of follow up. The front desk informed me she’d then have a manager call me back and I told her that if she didn’t connect me with a manager right then and there I’d be leaving a poor review. I was then promptly transferred to a manager and told to stop threatening the staff (with a bad review? lol) and additionally that it wasn’t their problem. They said it was “Mckinney’s problem” and to call them. I followed up in McKinney and was then informed that my account had been audited for a full week and it was odd the Highland Village location wouldn’t relay that information given the fact that they are capable of seeing it on their end.

Fantastic experience: i had to get some fillings done, vina and dr patel did a great job there was no pain and they did it quite efficiently so the appointment wasnt too long

Positive experience: Overall I thought my visit was good although somewhat less desirable than previous visits. This may have been contributed to having a new hygienist or me being terrified of the dentist chair. * Seemed to struggle with initial prep/taking xrays as we had several retakes. * The actual cleaning seemed a little aggressive. Was concerned about potential collateral damage. * First time ever having the air hose hang on my mouth during the cleaning process. Seemed odd and a little uncomfortable. * Floride treatment was a little aggressive as well. * Lots of residue remaining on teeth after cleaning/treatment. Perhaps a final rinse would have been appropriate. Again, overall good visit just sharing my observations in hope to move from "Good" back to "Great." this place and would highly recommend to anyone.

Fantastic experience: It was my daughters and I first time and it was absolutely amazing! Everyone was very attentive and did a great job explaining what was going to happen and when it would happen. Fantastic experience: I arrived at the clinic early. They took me in 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment. The hygienists were very knowledgeable and through. They explained my X-rays and the procedures needed. Dr. Wing set up the protocol and their expertly trained staff set up the billing and scheduling. With the assistance of Vinad and Nicole, I had a very pleasant experience

Fantastic experience: My daughter had all 4 of her wisdom teeth pulled today. Surgery was done half the time. Dr. Ganti, is amazing! My daughter’s anesthesia wore off nicely no headache or side effects. Her pain is manageable and not really in pain just hungry and uncomfortable. I highly highly recommend any and all Drs at Dental Depot! Won’t go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Saw Dr. Rosa to get two cavities filled. Never like drilling( who does) but it has to be done. Asked Dr. Rosa to keep me updated on how long the drilling would last and she was really good about keeping me informed. She’s an excellent dentist and her assistant Keiry was professional as well.

Fantastic experience: I want to start by saying that Dr. Wing and Shayla at Dental Depot Highland Village are absolutely amazing! My 6-year-old son recently had his first cavity filling and was very nervous going in. From the moment we arrived, Shayla took the time to reassure him. She patiently answered all his questions, asked about his concerns, and truly made him feel safe. She even made the visit fun by getting him excited to click the pen and “win” the quiet game during his appointment. Dr. Wing was equally wonderful—so patient and kind. He listened to my son, explained everything clearly, and created a calm, supportive environment. Thanks to both of them, my son did an incredible job and handled everything like a champ. He even earned two prizes for his bravery! We never once felt rushed or overlooked—our time was respected and our experience was valued. Best of all, my son left the office excited to come back to the dentist, which is such a relief (as any parent knows how tough dental visits can be with young kids). I highly recommend Dental Depot Highland Village, especially Dr. Wing and Shayla!

Fantastic experience: Wow! Unbelieveable service and quality. Laura Rone, the hygienist, gave me the best cleaning and check up I have ever had! They have the latest in digital photos and pano. She shared valuable tips and insights on maintaining my oral health, making me feel well-prepared to care for my teeth. Dr. Zhang was thorough and listened to all my concerns. As someone with white coat syndrome, I felt very comfortable and at ease throughout my visit. The office environment was welcoming, and the staff was friendly and attentive. One suggestion for an even more relaxing experience would be to have some calming music in the background during treatments. Overall, my visit was excellent, and I look forward to continuing my dental care with Dental Depot-Highland Village and team.

Fantastic experience: The wait was short to see the hygienist. She was very thorough and careful since I’m sensitive to grinding noises from the cleaning. She was the most thorough hygienist I’ve had. Dr Zang was thorough and honest as well. It was my first time and I’m definitely going back

Fantastic experience: They were so kind and made getting a cavity filled no a scary thing. Editing review to add my other kids love them too! Their orthodontist at Dental Depot is wonderful and offered a less invasive plan for our daughter and it's what we really wanted for her. We went to see two other orthodontists and the plan for her mouth was so extreme and made me wonder if it would cause more damage than help her. Follow you gut and keep looking if it doesn't feel right. We love this whole office! Elizabeth is wonderful. The whole staff is amazing!

Fantastic experience: I recently had two crowns done at Dental Depot in Highland Village by Dr Patel. I was very pleased with the work done. He is an excellent dentist and a great person. The assistant Jackie was very meticulous fitting my permanent crown assuring a perfect fit and proper bite I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing any type of dental work!

Fantastic experience: Broke an old crown and lost a filling in the next tooth, so I called around 5pm and they got me in the next morning. Took care of everything - I left with a new filing, a temporary crown, zero discomfort. Couldn’t ask for more! Dr Zhang, Keiry and Angel were all wonderful! Great attention to detail, careful and caring. Great technology helped make things even better. Super easy, super comfortable, very friendly. Coming back in a couple weeks for my permanent crown - very happy.

Fantastic experience: It’s hard for anyone to say they “enjoyed” their dentist visit but as much as you can enjoy it, the Dental Depot was a pleasure. Dr. Wing had a great way of interacting with his patients (me) as did Nicole who assisted him. Shayla at the front also was able to take care of some billing questions while I was in the exam. All in all a painless experience- which I’ll take when visiting the dentist.

Fantastic experience: My hygienist was great! 1/15/2025 today I had a cosmetic filling replaced that had come out. Dr. Zhang did it in less than 15 minutes. During checkout, Angel Spivey waited on me and she was more than gracious and helpful. Recommend to all.

Fantastic experience: Dr Patel did a filling for me and was able to numb only the tooth he was working on! My tongue and lips were not numbed at all! He worked quickly and did a perfect job matching the filling color to my tooth! It was a painless experience! Y’all don’t sleep on Dental Depot, they have some great dentists!!

Negative experience: I was appalled that my daughter cleaning appt was canceled due to not confirming the text I received of the reminder. I received a text late the day before stating appt is cancelled due to not confirming. I had never felt so discarded by a dental office I had emailed the office manager with no response.

Fantastic experience: My visits have been great from my new patient appointment where Emilie, cleaned my teeth (she was so sweet) and Dr. Zhang was very nice and clearly explained my needs to me. Ms. Angel was so sweet and patient and understanding and presented all of my options for treatment and helped schedule it. Today was my treatment appointment and Dr. Zhang did my work and Ms. Alexa assisted him. When I walked into my room she asked me if I wanted a blanket or if I wanted to use the restroom before we started. She was so caring and sweet about everything!!

Fantastic experience: Emily greeted me at my appointment time. Was sweet and explained every step to me as we went along. We also carried on an actual conversation about music. Dr. Zang was thorough and suggested something to help eventually but did not push it. Great personality. Destiny who cleaned my teeth was super personable, gentle while doing a great job. Also did not try to sell me everything possible. Definitely will be back.

Negative experience: This place is a scam. You have to sign up for a plan and then all of a sudden they find you need more so in order to get services you have to upgrade your plan.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience. Today I was helped by Sam, Zhang, and Angel . Their customer assistance is elite. I wasn’t forced into doing any other procedures than what I went in for. Of course they offered their opinions and thoughts , that’s what professionals do, but not once was told that I had to postpone one for the other. They listened to me and together we made a dental plan for the future. I had a similar visit/appointment last year with another dentist office. X-rays , Periodontal charting, and a dental consultation. At the other place I had to pay $200 out of pocket. At dental Depot I wasn’t charged a dime! I speak from experience to say that these are the people you want to establish a relationship with. Thank you Dental Depot staff, see ya soon.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time at this office and I have to say everyone was very friendly and professional from the receptionist to the hygienist. I have to say Emely was very professional and walked me through the whole process of my appointment which made me feel less anxious. I would definitely recommend this dentist office.

Fantastic experience: It’s hard to tell if I’m part of the few or many, but I am not a fan of going to the dentist. Going to the dentist gives me anxiety and raises my blood pressure. I recently changed dentists to Dental Depot and have to say it was the best transition. Everyone from office staff to hygienist to dentist have been amazing and made me comfortable and relaxed. During one of my last visits I overheard a hygienist and a patient next to me. The patient was special needs and she handled the entire appointment with grace, respect and patience! I highly recommend them for both adult and children!

Fantastic experience: My elderly mother had her first visit with Dr. Wing at Dental Depot today. This was our first time there, our immediate impression was this is a great place. From our initial encounter when we arrived, to when we checked out, every interaction was met with smiles and courtesy. Our Dental Tech Derek was extremely nice and thoughtful, he made sure my mother was comfortable and understood each process. I was really impressed with their level of professionalism and customer service. I highly recommend Dental Depot!

Negative experience: Way too many patients and not enough staff. I was supposed to pick up my Invisalign trays on Invisalign day, I get here and they start to take X Rays of me, which they already had done 2 weeks prior. Everything I needed in order to pick up my trays was done on my previous visit in preparation for this day so I questioned why I was getting XRays again. They proceed to tell me that my photos that were needed to be sent off were on a different camera so my photos weren’t sent and I will need to come back in 3 weeks for my trays now. I was so excited to start this process today and it’s being further delayed. After I took off of work for 2 hours to ensure everything was completed that day. This mistake was completely avoidable had everyone been on the same page and paid attention to what they were doing. This is a lot of money to just be making simple mistakes like this. Very disappointing experience to say the least. No one is on the same page there. Quantity over quality isn’t always going to work.

Positive experience: My initial response is that this is a wonderful place. But, I need additional visits to give a complete assessment. I think I am going to like this place!

I never feel blindsided or out of the drivers seat when it comes to my treatment plan. New review for 2/24/25 my high schooler had 2 fillings today with Dr. Wing & his assistant Shalyla & they were amazing!! She was very nervous from a past experience at another clinic & they not only reassured her but they made her feel very comfortable & she was able to get though her fillings without any pain or anxiety. Fantastic experience: Awesome staff! They are very professional and knowledgeable. They treat you nice during and after the procedure. And they will help you with some financial options, too. My only note to them is that they don’t have cotton candy after for the grown ups hahaha.

Myself and my children have seen Dr. Zhang multiple times and you can tell he truly cares about his patients. He always listens to any concerns and gives wonderful advice. His dental assistants, Shayla and Keiry “Katie”, are always so kind and patient, and their bubbly personalities make even the not so fun visits so much better! I haven’t been to another office that has staff that are as caring as this one. Dr. Zhang and Shayla have even worked though their lunch and stayed late to take care of one of my children, and that is a true testament to their dedication and empathy for their patients! Fantastic experience: Dr. Wing is such an amazing dentist with the perfect sprinkle of humor! He not only made me feel comfortable but his dedication to being thorough and even going the extra mile to do so, is really what set him apart for me personally. He also has amazing assistants! Derrick was the assistant during my dental procedure and he also went above and beyond! He walked me through everything I needed in order to lessen my anxiety. Due to previous horrors at other dental offices, I have a stupid amount of anxiety when getting any dental work done. She explained everything she would be doing and the reasons why. She is extremely knowledgeable, personable and made the entire process so easy. My teeth felt so great when she completed the cleaning. I highly recommend Dental Depot. The entire staff is so helpful and friendly.

Fantastic experience: We had a dental emergency and called dental depot in Highland Village for help. They were able to get us in within an hour and get my family member out of Payne. They worked with us to develop a treatment plan to resolve all issues. We worked with them for the last couple of years For my daughter’s braces and regular treatment for my kids and myself, but this was the first time we had to request Emergency Service, and they truly came through. Doctor Nguyen and the tech that assisted her were both fantastic. Thank you very much.

Fantastic experience: My goodness this office is amazing. I had an emergency root canal which they got me in same day. From Angel at the front desk to Derrick and Dr. Wing helping in the back this team is amazing. They not only want to get you tip top, but they have fun with you while doing the dental deed! Fantastic experience: There was no payment today and they did a filing. I paid yesterday and they included a process that they did not use. So I that covered the filling today. Good looking out for the wallet. In addition at every stage of the process everyone worked as a team. Every person did there part and always asked if any thing else needed doing. It says a lot about the staff to be as one unit no matter what part they play. Good job !

Fantastic experience: Went in for tooth pain expecting to be told a crown went bad. They made adjusts to my bite and pain is gone without having to do crown work. Greatly appreciate honest dentists!!!
