Negative experience: They made multiple dental mistakes over the years and then charged me for them. Money hungry and rude.

Fantastic experience: I can always count on ALL the staff!! They listen...they care!! Treated like a family member for regular check-ups (cleanings). Definitely in my corner when there's an issue, resulting in timely quality treatment I can trust. Thank you Team!

Negative experience: After being a patient for 10 years, I'm finally leaving Riccobene Clayton. My *husband* went in for his scheduled cleaning and they wouldn't let him until he paid a balance they said *I* owed for a cleaning I had three months prior. First, I didn't owe anything as I was assured full payment was made on the day of the cleaning and my insurance hasn't changed. Second, to hold my husband's dental care hostage because of an unauthorized charge on my account is really really sketchy. Our accounts aren't connected. He paid the $50 so he could get his cleaning that he had waited six months for, but we're both leaving the practice. Trash behavior.

Fantastic experience: Everyone at this location is great. The front office, and the appointment desks, are very friendly, the dentists and the hygienists are great. There's just one concern: the waiting area seems is not being cleaned!! Each time I've been there I see dust on the tables and mostly on the floor, and even small cobwebs under the chairs. See my pics attached.

Positive experience: The place is nice and the assistants are great, but the girl, Rebecca or Becky, who answered the phone, was not personable at all. Very curt and a bit rude…. Just FYI if you’re calling about your insurance pray you’ll get someone different!!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Riccobene for a few years and always had great service. They were so sweet to our toddler at a recent visit. Valana was kind and didn’t rush us between steps. She explained everything and tried to make our child comfortable. This was a great visit for our child and they left excited to brush their teeth. We are thankful for the considerations Riccobene does to ensure all family members enjoy the dentist!

Fantastic experience: The staff is very kind and understanding and they know what they are doing!

Negative experience: Update: I found a wonderful dentist. VENET Family Dentristy. They’re an awesome small practice. Did not try to sell me any unnecessary procedures. Ricobene is like a factory. They don’t care about their patients. It’s all about the money. I went for a consultation and was told I need work that is unnecessary and expensive. They made me pay $150 to hold my next appointment for a deep scaling that I don’t need. Upon speaking with my former hygienist (just had my teeth cleaned a month ago - there is no way I need this procedure) I called and cancelled. Luckily I got my refund.

Negative experience: This is the Walmart of dentists. They cancel you appointment without confirmation. Then if you do get in one person polishes your teeth, another scrapes your teeth, and then a dentist comes in, and you never see the same dentist twice.

Negative experience: My wife went for a filling but it lead to a root canal treatment. Every time when we visit we have paid whatever amount that we have mentioned. In spite of that you will be getting additional balances that you end up paying. They don't care about patients only thing that they want is money from us. I strongly feel not to use their service anymore and I would not recommend for anyone as well

Negative experience: They over charge for their services. We were in their plan that gives you 2 cleanings and xrays over year. I canceled my fall cleaning because was in hospital. When I rescheduled and was there they said couldn't do cleaning because on blood thinners. So when I was off of them, I called to reschedule and told me we canceled our plan, which we did because our union has given us free dental insurance and we don't need their plan. But I never used my second visit which is paid for. So hope they need the money more than me. SO KEEP IT. I Will NEVER RECCOMEND RICCOBENE TO ANYONE.

Negative experience: The dentists here are OK. However, this business is too big to care about its patients. You’re better off going to a smaller Dentist who will care about you because you are their future and they wouldn’t be around without you. This place doesn’t need you and they make sure you know it.

Fantastic experience: Dr. M, Jodi and Valena were absolutely wonderful for our two children’s pediatric cleaning. Highly recommend Riccobene at Flowers.

Fantastic experience: Valana, the dental assisstant, during my kids visit was very easy to be with and very informative. Since its my kids first time to visit the dentist, Valana made sure that it will be an enjoyable experience to them. They were very anxious when we get it, but because of Valana they became more comfortable and excited. As parents, we cannot be more thankful enough. The clinic was child friendly. Dr. M was very amazing, she tried so hard to explain to us in layman's term what are the things needed to be done. Though we are overwhelmed with too much information, we are confident that we're in the right place with the right people to take care of our teeth.

Negative experience: If you just want a cleaning, it’s fine. They messed up my husband’s fillings multiple times. They claimed my stepdaughter had 4 cavities requiring fillings and when we were suspicious and got a second opinion, we found out that was actually false and she did not have any cavities. It felt like a money grab every time we went in. Just be cautious.

Fantastic experience: Erica and Dr M are amazing. My daughter had the best time at the dentist. It was such a great experience. Erica was so nice and sweet. She was great explaining the cleaning while she was doing it. And the whole office was decorated so nicely. My daughter really loved the paintings on the wall. I highly recommend if you are looking for a dentist for kids and adults.

Fantastic experience: We see the orthodontist side. The staff is great. They are kind and caring. They keep their stations clean and sanitary. I’m glad we chose this place!

Negative experience: Not happy with these people they add on more procedures that are not needed they will tell you oh it’s just this and tell you you will need this this and this and make you feel like your less than if you can’t afford my conversation was ease dropped on and just this entire experience was not good from the start I have family in other states that work in dentistry they know they was over charging and telling them there they need certain things when in fact you do not. Do not get any kind of a root canal they are connected to heart attacks you go for a cleaning but they don’t want to do it because you called out the song and dance that insurance they try to say they have is a big joke do not get that trust me they will take it out every month but not give you what you ask for not good business at all and it’s sad that in other state my loved ones are like all dentist are not good even if they claim to be shaking my head

Negative experience: The people on the phone rush me or don't answer. The assistant Amber is always very rude, and the Dentists talk about me like I'm not in the room. They talk to each other and not me. One time I was left waiting for over 30 minutes. Also having two names is confusing: Riccobene or Brush and Floss? And if you need orthodontic stuff the front desk acts like they don't do that or understand, like you are an outcast. Plus they have incorrectly filed my insurance more then once and caused issues for themselves.

Negative experience: Word of caution. Individual dentists in that building take certain insurances, others don't. We scheduled an appt for our regular dentist, he was out so they substituted for another (worse) dentist and he magically is out of network. Now it comes out of pocket. Canceling all future apps and finding another dentist.

Negative experience: Bad experience with pain for months after a filling. They redid it only to have it hurt again and they didn’t know why. Changed dentists after this because they just shrugged it off and didn’t know what was happening. The new dentist fixed it within 20 min by sanding down the filling that was made two large twice.

Fantastic experience: Hands down the absolute best I have ever been to. Service from start to finish was amazing. The most professional staff I have ever come across and put me and my needs above all else. I have the biggest fear of dentists from previous experiences at other places. But this will be the one and only dentist I ever go to again!

Fantastic experience: We absolutely love Riccobene Clayton location! Dr. Donaldson and Mrs. Keisha have been absolutely phenomenal with my daughters care and procedures! We will continue to receive our dental care with this office and providers.

Fantastic experience: Best Dentist I have gone to so far. All staff is very nice. My husband and I were able to get an appointment very quickly for being new patients. They got us in within the week. The staff also made it where my husband and I can go at the same time and day. I would recommend them 100%.

Fantastic experience: Whole family goes here - we have had wonderful experiences with the pediatric dentist, Dr. Martin. I was seen by Dr. Behairy today, no pain at all with a quick filling. The whole team is kind - whether it’s the front desk reception or in the back. ☺️

I loved them and was worried about starting over at a new location. Today was my first experience in Clayton which was terrific. Loved my hygienist and the doctor. The entire staff was awesome. Fantastic experience: My 7 year old granddaughter had an appt to get a crown and filling. My granddaughter was extremely nervous but Dr. Martin assistant Miss Keisha prayed with her and assured her everything will be ok. She calmed down and gave them 2 thumbs up telling them she was ready. Also Dr. Martin made her comfortable, smile and also assured her she will be ok. I am so pleased to see how Dr. Martin and his assistant catered to my granddaughter and the biggest heart warming act was seeing Miss Keisha asking my granddaughter if she believe in god of course she does and they held hands and prayed. Miss Keisha was extremely awesome and caring OMG!! If I could I would make Dr. Martin and his assistant Miss Keisha take care all the little kiddos dental work!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I had the best cleaning today. The hygienist was gentle, thorough, and very pleasant. My teeth felt so smooth and clean. Big shout out to Christy. And Dr. Bahari is so caring, she really listens to your concerns and addresses them.when she does a procedure she makes sure you're well Informed and comfortable. The front desk is always polite and friendly. I highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: Jodi was excellent at preforming my dental cleaning. Some of the staff was distracted from the recovery of the cyber attack. However, overall everything went smooth.

Fantastic experience: I was in the chair today getting the first part of a three part process for implanting a tooth. No pain whatsoever. Always professional and always ready to answer my questions. Dr Runyan and his assistant are both awesome! If you need anything done with dental work or just a great dentist this is the place to go! Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient at Riccobene for three years now, and I couldn’t be happier with the care I’ve received. My kids also come here, and they always feel comfortable and well-cared for. The dental hygienists and dentists are incredibly skilled and compassionate, making each visit a pleasant experience. Negative experience: Highly disappointed with this office. I had 2 crowns done as preventive measures (teeth were not hurting). 1 of the temp crown was made to small which left exposure on the tooth. The solution was to put desensitizing material over it and tell me to wait. Went back for the permanent crowns. One felt like it was moving but was told to see how it went. Crown of course fell off. Was in horrible pain. It was a fight to get a quick appointment. Fast forward 2 days later the other one comes off. It is now Friday after hours. Horrible pain yet again. Cannot eat or drink. On call doctor has not returned my call.

Positive experience: Be aware of deceptive charges. I pay in full on each visit so I was surprised when they told me I had an outstanding balance. This small amount had been accruing interest for months and they never mentioned it or sent me a bill so by the time I was made aware it had increased by over 4 times the original amount. This feels deceptive and unethical to me. The people that work there seem to be friendly and competent but be sure to stay on top of any charges because they will not let you know until they have made interest off of them.

Fantastic experience: This review is for the LANAP procedure performed by Dr. Clark. I just had my 1 year post-procedure probing measurements taken and I couldn't be happier! My measurements were mostly 5-7s with some 8s and 9s, and today they were down to all 2s-4s with a few 5s! Definitely glad I opted for this procedure over the traditional gum surgery and its long, painful recovery. Totally worth it!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Clark and his dental hygiene team are AMAZING! He has worked on my teeth for years. I had a bone graft done several years ago and an extracted tooth today; no pain and super QUICK! Riccobene in Flowers is the BEST!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Martin and the dental assistants are absolutely incredible! My young son genuinely looks forward to dentist trips because they are so compassionate and spend time answering ALL of his questions. For example, he is scared of some of the tools, and they take time to show him how it will feel on his hand and allow him to take part in the process (when safe).The entire staff is friendly and efficient. The pediatric area is themed for children and they earn a token after each visit that they can trade in for a small prize. You could not ask for a better practice to take your children to for their dental care!

Negative experience: If I could give them a 0 stars I would. Let me start off by saying we take financial responsibility for missing appointments! That is not what we are upset about , it’s how they went about the situation. My fiancé had missed 3 appointments 2 that were big appointments . Back in October I received a text with a link for a bill of 200.00 for “missed appointment”. We set up a payment plan for that and paid 100.00 in November and then in December. Fantastic all done. Come Jan they took another payment of 100.00 out of my bank account with out my authorization. Naturally I called because I only approved for 2x 100.00 installments to be paid. They stated they sent a paper bill the day after I made my payment plan to “XYZ” address. In which we haven’t lived in 3 years, I asked them what address at the time was on file in which they verified my current address at the time.so it made no sense why we are not sending a bill to the patients current address. Went ahead at this time to update my new address since I had just moved and confirmed 2x that they had the correct address and numbers on files. Naturally I was upset because I did not understand why a 200.00 bill turned into a 300.00 bill. Not to mention you sent me a text link to pay the previous bill why all of sudden did you send me a paper bill? What ever the 300.00 was paid. Over and done with ! I confirmed with this person that my fiancés account balance was now going to be paid off and she said yes. Now we are in February my in-laws who live in our previous address received a bill for us for yet another statement of $55. Now I’m like what is going on. I tried calling them for 4.5hrs today before getting someone on the phone. This person states well the 2 big apts where 150 each and then 1 apt was 50. I expressed how that is not was told to me in Jan and how did a 200.00 balance turn into 350 and why I was never originally billed 350. She explained she doesn’t know where I’m getting 200 from and I simply explain I have a screenshot of the 200.00 account balance bill that was sent to me back in October . Once again I’m not upset about needing to pay I just don’t understand why we weren’t originally billed 350 and why we were billed 3 separate times , 3 separate ways and 2 separate addresses . Confirmed with them yet again after paying this next payment that the balance will be at $0 and she said yes. We shall see if I receive yet another bill next month.

Fantastic experience: My Hygienist Samantha did another amazing job this morning. As always, she is professional, thorough and helps keep my teeth clean and healthy. This visit included updating the panoramic X-rays. What an easy experience this now is compared to my last Dentist. That machine is worth every penny. Thank you Sam! You rock! Dr. Justin Runyon well what can I say? He’s the best I’ve ever had to care for my teeth. Always asking how things are feeling, checking me thoroughly and recommending ways to keep my mouth and teeth healthy. Thank you both for a great experience.

Fantastic experience: Great staff. Had a wisdom tooth pulled out by Mr. Runyon, and he handled it with great expertise and professionalism; as well as in a timely manner. The ladies that assisted were also very nice and professional. I'd recommend.

Fantastic experience: I got dentures last year from another dental practice and kept going back because I could not wear them because they came out even with adhesives. I went into Riccobene yesterday and within 10 minutes the dentist had fixed my dentures and they fit perfectly. He clipped some parts that were too long or some such thing but IT WORKED!!! I am so pleased with Riccobene and would like to say something not nice about the other practice but I am too glad that God led me to Riccobene to be mean.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Behairy and Mariam were great. Very professional and did great work. Dr. Behairy knows what’s she’s doing, doesn’t make things worse like other dentists have in the past, and doesn’t just “watch” issues until they get worse and need more work done to them.

They are always so kind and courteous. My visit today was no different. They always make us feel welcome and I couldn’t be happier with the care I have received from them throughout the years.

Fantastic experience: I have been visiting Riccobene for 5+ years now. I really appreciate the quality of care I receive - cleanings, I have had a root canal, and crown placement. People are generally friendly and competent. Pricing is upfront, and there is a dental plan that helps manage some of the cost if you don’t have insurance. Do know that this is a large practice, so you often see different hygienists and dentists. That doesn’t bother me personally, especially since quality of care is fairly consistent between visits. For 3 years I have driven 45 minutes to go to the Clayton office … I refuse to switch dental practices!

My last visits have been with Dr. Corcoran, he’s very professional and wonderful, did an excellent procedure. I love my smile. The dental assistant was very friendly and courteous. Fantastic experience: Dr. Martin is awesome! My 6 year old ended up needing a tooth pulled vs. the original plan of getting a crown, and he put her at ease so well. She wasn’t scared at all. It was her first experience with losing a tooth, so the tooth fairy will be coming tonight!

Fantastic experience: It was pretty and I liked the walls. I really liked that the appointment was short. The dentist, the hygienist and dental assistant were all nice. I liked how they allowed me to use the X-ray vest to protect me from my X-rays. I like how the dentist was very easy on my teeth. I also loved the toothpaste. Fantastic experience: I brought my daughter here for her first dental exam, mind you she's only one so I was super nervous. The entire staff was AMAZING! From the receptionist, hygienist, to the doctor. The wait wasn't long in the lobby and the hygienist and dentist had us in and out. They were extremely knowledgeable and so sweet to my baby girl.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming here for over two years and love it. My hygienist Sam is great. She's funny, puts me at ease, and really gets my teeth clean. All the staff have been very friendly to date. I am very satisfied with this provider, which is huge because no one like going to the dentist!

Fantastic experience: Today Marley had her remaining three baby teeth extracted that we could not remove at home. The visit was wonderful!!! Jackie was very calming and encouraging to Marley when she walked in because she could see she was nervous. Dr. Runyon and his assistant Shannon were so good with Marley!!! They explained to her each step of today’s visit in a way that wouldn’t make her nervous because she wanted to know what was going to happen. After the extractions were done both Dr. Runyon and Shannon expressed to Marley how good she did and kept telling her they were so proud of her!! Also when the visit was over and Marley was leaving Red at the front desk told Marley how proud she was of her!! Absolutely and amazing visit!!!!!

Fantastic experience: My very 1st experience at Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry was phenomenal. I have dental anxiety and was extremely nervous about today's visit, but luckily the staff at Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry from the lovely front desk ladies, to my Hygienist Emily and Dr. Behairy made me feel comfortable and at ease. Hands down this was the absolute best dental visit I've ever had. The office is beautiful with state of the art equipment. My Hygienist Emily and Dr. Behairy was very gentle and knowledgeable about my dental needs. I can say so many great things about this dentist office, but just know with anyone of them you're in great hands. I would highly recommend Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry to all of you! Fantastic experience: Transferred over to the Clayton office for - reasons. Day 1 the front staff are friendly and personable. They actually answer the phones there too! Appointment process is easy and I've even watched them help patients talk to insurance companies in real time. The dentists and support staff are always friendly, checking on each other to offer help if needed and as a patient they have always been efficient in what they do but take care to go the extra mile if needed to make sure you as a patient are ok and informed. Would definitely recommend anyone in the area to use them....just not to many of you, I still need appointment slots from time to time :)

Fantastic experience: Everyone was professional and so very nice. I had a crown replaced the Dr was quick and really cared about my needs she did a great job and the technician I had was great she really took extra care of me .. Fantastic experience: I’m not a fan of dentist, but they made it a good experience. Very knowledgeable and also had the small town friendliness that makes you comfortable. The hygienist and dentist I saw were great and made me feel at ease. I guess I will have to keep going lol

Fantastic experience: I am a patient at the Clayton office near flowers plantation and I cannot say enough good things! The front desk staff always greets me promptly with a smile and my hygienist Emily is unmatched! She goes out of her way to accommodate my needs and clearly loves what she does. The pediatric side is also wonderful with my kids!

Fantastic experience: I have been very comfortable with the Clayton office of Riccobene Associates since I retired and needed a dental office closer to my home. Taylor has been my hygienist and she is awesome! Everyone from the receptionists at the front desk to the associates at the checkout desk are friendly, caring and professional. I would recommend this office to anyone.

Positive experience: While our experiences with the dental care staff have been fine overall, the administration of this office, or perhaps the whole practice, is very dysfunctional. Lately I can never reach anyone on the phone directly, no matter when I call I get vmail, emails go unanswered, our requests to discontinue their insurance are ignored, an office in Wake Forest which we have never even visited claims to be renewing the insurance (we have requested multiple times to be discontinued). It has been a major headache and nobody seems to be able to take ownership of the problem, or fix it--they claim they have resolved the issue, and then I get more texts/emails telling me our insurance is set to renew. FRUSTRATED!!!

Fantastic experience: I have had a great experience with my dentist and the two hygienists I have seen so far in Clayton. They both had a light touch while scaling and were knowledgeable about X-rays, what my insurance would pay, and my night guard. Additionally they recommended a high fluoride toothpaste to my nighttime routine to help keep my teeth strong and healthy. Would recommend!

Fantastic experience: I had a root canal with Dr Chen. I had never had one before but had heard all the horror stories about them so I was extremely nervous. The initial consultation was a great experience so I tried to keep that in my mind. The root canal went so well. The Brush and Floss team is amazing and I had absolutely no pain. I loved Dr Chen. Dr Uhler and his assistant, Stacey, at Ricobeene made my crown and I went back today to get my permanent crown. It went fast and was pain free. Dr Uhler is my new dentist now. I wouldn't go to anybody else. Stacey is a Godsend to that office and for people like me with dental anxiety. She walked me through everything and was extremely compassionate. I highly recommend this dental group.

Fantastic experience: I had wonderful visit with Riccobene in Clayton. I had a root canal done by Dr. Justin Runyon. He did an excellent procedure that was pretty much pain free. He was very professional in his care. Also, his assistant LeAnne was wonderful as well! She exercised professional care to my situation. I am very pleased with my visit and will go back if needed.

Fantastic experience: I'm a senior citizen and from the time I was a child until this day, going to the dentist has not been my favorite activity. BUT...going to Riccobene is always a positive experience. They make you feel like your time with them is most important. All staff from the front desk to the hygienist and dentist treat their patients with respect. They make sure you understand what dental work needs to be done and then the procedure is done with care and no pain. Today, Shannon and Dr. Runyon were pleasant, professional and personable. When I moved from OHIO I didn't want to leave my dentist. My comfort level at Riccobene will keep me there.

Fantastic experience: Sherrie is the best dental hygienist I have ever had. She also sees my wife and son, and they agree.. Sherrie is genuinely friendly and courteous. Best of all, she is always gentle with our oral cleanings. Excellent hire, Riccobene! Give her a good raise next time around.

Fantastic experience: Friendly, professional and positive! I was so embarrassed that I let my teeth get so bad. The people were so nice and I didn't here any negative comments about the condition of the few teeth I had left. Everyone said okay we'll take good care of you. They made me relax by not talking about how bad my teeth were but just what you would like done. So if you are reading this review and have not done the best with your teeth... Just relax and let them do what needs to be done. They will make you feel comfortable too. Its never to late to get to the dentist and this is the place to go. Thanks to all at Riccobene in Clayton. Fantastic experience: When I walked in the door, I was greeted with a smile and 'how may I help you', from the receptionist named Red. She has the perfect personality for this office. I noticed as other clients came in she kept that beautiful smile. My dental hygienist Rachel was very pleasant, patient and understanding. It has been several years since I have been in a dentist chair. Rachel listened to my past history and did an amazing job on cleaning my teeth and explained where my trouble spots were, and what I could do to better clean my teeth and gums.

Negative experience: I have never been treated as bad by a dental office as I was here. I needed a root canal and a crown, when prices were discussed my co pay was supposed to be $700, half paid on the root canal and the other half when the crown was placed. The root canal went great, when I returned for the crown the color did not match, it was significantly whiter than the rest of my teeth, so they had to send it back to the lab and reschedule me for another two weeks. Everything was fine and everyone was nice until I went to billing and met Samantha. She told me I had a pending balance because I only paid half and I was supposed to have paid in full on my first appointment. I told her that on the first appointment I paid half and according to the document they gave me I had to pay the other half when the job was finished. She seemed upset and told me, well it was due today, are you going to pay that or not? I told her since the job is not completed I would rather wait until it is. She was upset, her whole demeanor was mean, I felt like she was insinuating I was not going to pay, I was ready to pay that day, there was no way for me of knowing they will have to send it back to the lab, but I think it was my right to make the payment once the job was completed. She had a really bad attitude towards me, I left in tears. Never in my life I have felt so humiliated at a doctors office. After this job is completed I will not return, I will cancel my mom's appointment and my daughter's as well. Thanks to Samantha, Ricobene just lost three customers. I did spoke with her supervisor, Morgan, and she was great, she apologized and asked if anything she could do but it was too late, I do not want to continue business with any Ricobene dental office.

Fantastic experience: Great experience getting my teeth cleaned. The hygienist was gentle but cleaned my teeth very well. I have a cavity but feel comfortable coming back for my filling. They make you feel comfortable and explain treatment plans. Such great team of compassionate care givers. Highly recommend this practice if you are looking for dental care.
