Fantastic experience: I’ve seen Dr. Walden and his team for a couple of visits now. He’s an incredible dentist. I would recommend him 10x over to anyone looking for a compassionate dental care team and an extremely skilled dentist.

Negative experience: Everyone was super nice, and it was an overall good experience. However my wisdom teeth removal caused permanent nerve damage in half my lip, it’s been 6 months and it’s still numb. I should have been warned of how risky the extraction was. edit: it’s been 5 yrs and i’m still numb. after going to multiple other specialists they told me there was nothing i could do and the surgeon should have never operated on that tooth. having my wisdom tooth before was only mildly uncomfortable occasionally. I would never wish this on anyone.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service, atmosphere, attention to detail, and so much more. I came here for the first time and was immediately impressed by the quickness to get in and the thorough evaluation of my teeth. I felt so taken care of. Thank yall so much.

From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and understood. Sabrina, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and clearly explained each procedure throughout the visit. I confidently give this team my highest recommendation.

Negative experience: Despite being marked as LGBTQ friendly online, the waiting room during my last visit had a bronze statue of Donald Trump. It was incredibly uncomfortable and should never have been there. Beyond that, my mother and I both had negative experiences with the doctor. He was far too rough with my mother which caused her to have a panic attack, despite her never having dental anxiety. I had a crown put in during a visit which broke within a year, after which I went back to have it fixed and it is now fractured again after another year. I went to a different dentist who thinks it’s likely that they only put in a temporary crown and not a permanent one, as the material is a lower quality and each time I only had one appointment for the crown to be put it. The dental assistants and receptionist were always kind, but I almost never spoke to Dr.Walden himself and so my only experiences with him are these two negative dental situations and his choice to put a statue of a political figure in his medical office which leaves me with a poor impression. My family and I will not be returning.

Fantastic experience: This was the first time I used Walden Dental. My primary goal was to get " a thorough clean up'. I was warmly welcomed with the front office staff. I was ushered in first to take X-ray which apparently took over 20 minutes. I thought it was a little bit too much exposure to radiation. They couldn't stop it in spite of my request. Anyway, later Emily took over and did a fantastic job in giving me a thorough cleaning as I expected. She was so confident in the job she performed that she brought a mirror to validate it. I saw my teeth as white as snow. I was delighted and grateful for what I witnessed. On my way out, I made an appointment for my wife so that both of us will utilize Walden Dental from now on. I highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: Dr Frank and his staff, especially Emily, will make great care of you. They are very professional, patient, and wonderful bedside manner to boot!

Fantastic experience: This is Nicholas Talley I got a crown at Walden Dental today. I have been going there for years. Dr.Frank and Emily treat you like family! The staff is amazing too there. Their office is beautiful and everyone is very professional and listens to your every need! They go out of their way to please the patient and make sure you are satisfied with their work! I would recommend all my friends and family to go there! You won’t be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: Beyond amazing experience each time I have gone for a visit. This includes the root canal, crowns (made in office), cavities, extraction and cleanings. The office staff is awesome and run by the amazing Emily. Dr. Frank is so personable, kind, considerate, and gentle in his approach to dental care. He spells out all the options in a clear and simple fashion by giving the good, the bad and the ugly of each option. However, If you're a rude, obnoxious, self centered person this would not be your dentist I think. Best dental experience I've ever had after seeing them over 7 times

Fantastic experience: HIGHLY RECOMMEND WALDEN DENTAL! Dr. Frank was willing to attempt to save my teeth when no other dentist probably would have. His wife, Emily, is such a delight to work with and the office dog, Baxter, makes sure everyone feels right at home :). They are prompt to call in prescriptions, were able to get me in the next day, and did all of the work I needed done before a medical procedure on Monday (1 business day between the 2). Can't thank them enough and will be a forever patient!

Fantastic experience: Doctor Frank is the best in business. I got a same day crown and that too with Minimal pain. I have to say his job is commendable and Dr. Frank is the one whom I call a perfect dentist. I am definitely recommending him to all my friends and family. Fantastic experience: I am quite happy with my experience today at Walden Dental. Chose Dr Frank based on the positive reviews and high recommendations from previous patients. I called (not expecting) a same day appointment but was pleasantly surprised to get in and receive treatment just a few hours later. Had 2 crowns done and it was painless. They stayed late to get all this done and everybody was Kind and professional. Dr Frank treated me as if I was a member of his immediate family and had my best interest at heart. I didn’t feel like a number and I felt confident with his recommendations and treatment plan. Dr Frank is clearly very knowledgeable yet down to earth. Fantastic experience: From the moment I arrived my anxiety somewhat went away. The receptionist was very kind, next the dental hygienist answered all my questions , she was very thorough and kind making sure I was comfortable.The dentist was professional and didn’t once make me feel anxious. Lastly, the therapy dog in the waiting area was a big yes for me! I have finally found my dentists! I’m returning tomorrow and unlike last week at this time I’m not stressing over my appointment.

Fantastic experience: I broke 2 crowns last week and they were able to get me an appointment within 24 hours. Also, I had two other issues and they took care of it then. Didn't have to make another appointment. I have been going there several years. Always great service.

Fantastic experience: I originally booked an appt at Walden dental for a second opinion for dental care and I left with receiving the service I wanted! Dr. Frank was awesome with educating and answering all my questions. Emily was great, making me feel comfortable, esp for my first visit. Honestly, the entire staff was so kind and attentive! I will be going back and recommend anyone who is looking for a dentist office for your needs

Negative experience: Dr Frank is a good doctor, empathetic and recommends good treatment options to his patients. Transparency over insurance, bills etc are questionable at best. They came up as in network with my insurance provider on the website which is why I decided to visit them, while they were out of network the whole time. After being recommended peridontal scaling and root planting, they made me pay 3/4th the cost of the whole procedure upfront. I asked them why this was the case as usually the bill is sent home after insurance claim is submitted, they at no point revealed to me that they were out of network. I ended up over paying by $516 for the same procedure that would take $79 with an in network provider. They ended up switching the oral hygienist who was doing the procedure midway and lead to more bleeding in my gums(she later blamed me for it). This was a less than desirable experience. I went to a different provider for the other two quadrants and they were very very transparent and the experience nothing like this place. EDIT: They say they went over treatment costs etc, despite my many questions and they had ample opportunities to tell me that they were out of network but they did not. I don't care about the insurance stuff, I care that these guys were not transparent. It's a shame they try to cover it up as the patient not making an informed decision? Maybe I trusted you more than I should have - that is my fault. TLDR: Great dentist but not professional oral hygienists, zero transparency over insurance and bills. I DO NOT recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful, kind people. Worked me in to the schedule with no notice as an emergency appointment. Got an x-ray and an answer within minutes. Cracked tooth, not fun, but now I know my options. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Very fun, yet very professional staff and doctor! Emily at the front desk is wonderful, the hygienist and dental assistant were fantastic as well… both were able to answer any questions I had. Just moved to Austin and am very happy I found this office!!

Staff are very professional and it makes you feel much better going in to a not so fun place. The dentist! They don’t degrade you when they notice something off with your teeth. Fantastic experience: First time going to the dentist in almost 10 years, after finally getting insurance. It was a very good experience, they gave me a good cleaning, let me know that I didn't need any major work done besides removing my wisdom teeth and some fillings. I will definitely be going back.

Fantastic experience: Walden Dental is a a wonderful place to go for dental work. This summer WD took care of my daughter by extracting her wisdom teeth and fixed a crown for me! Fantastic experience: This dental clinic is wonderful. Dr. Frank and his staff are professional, competent, and make me feel at ease every visit there. The offices are modern, clean, and well equipped. I needed a crown and was able to get it the same day, no return visits needed. They take my dental insurance, which really helps with lowering the costs. The office is easy to get to, right off the 183A on Frontage Road. For my wife and I this dental clinic is just what we wanted. I would recommend Dr. Frank's clinic to everyone.

Fantastic experience: New patient review here. I called into the office at 4 pm stating I’ve got an emergency and my crown had cracked & I was in Dr. Frank’s chair at 4:45 being looked at. 2 hours later I’m back home with a new crown. I've changed insurance carriers before -- just to stay with Walden Dental -- and will probably do so again. Fantastic experience: I've been going to Walden Dental for almost 3 years now. Even though I moved over 45 miles away I still come back for cleanings and dental work. I appreciate how professional and detailed they are and continue to be impressed with their ability to make permenant crowns the same day it's decided you need one. The Emax crown will cost you more even with insurance but it sure beats getting a temporary crown and to come back at least one or two times more for fitting/adjustments. Every Walden crown has fit right the first time. Dr Frank and Emily and everyone in between is dedicated to providing a great service.

Fantastic experience: My first visit at Walden Dental was outstanding. I'm always uptight about going to the dentist but the staff and the doctor made me feel welcome. Julie the hygienist was excellent.. I have already recommended Walden Dental to family members. I have had my second visit at Walden Dental and I am happy to say all went well. This is the beginning of my work to be done on my teeth. Lonnie the assistant (sorry I don't know her title) took very good care of me. Dr Frank did an excellent job and I felt no pain.Yeah I was told upfront that there might be an additional cost and how much it would' be. Thankfully I didn't need that additional thing so I paid the exact amount that I was told originally. Thank you Walden Dental staff for making my experience a good one. Third visit still a five star. Fantastic experience: I can't say enough on how pleasant (it being you ARE in a DENTIST office!) all of my visits go. On each visit, I was greeted with a warm and friendly hello by Emily…. with my first name being used! Very personable! All I had done today was my teeth cleaned. Casey was a very pleasant person to talk to. I talked with her after she was done cleaning my teeth, letting her know all that has happened with me in the last few months. She really was interested in what I had to say and she responded. Great team of employees!

Fantastic experience: Yesterday I went in for a X-ray on a tooth that we discussed capping nine months ago. I had scheduled a regular appointment for today. I ended up getting the root canal and the tooth capped yesterday. I also got an adjoining tooth recapped. The procedures were nearly painless. I didn’t even know that I had a root canal until it was over. I did agree to the root canal before if it was needed. They’re very efficient and I recommend Walden Dental.

Fantastic experience: If I could give 10 stars I would! I have been going to Walden dental for about two years and they are the absolute best. Dr Frank and his team are the absolute best of anyone I have ever let work on my teeth. They have not only been kind and compassionate, they have gone out of their way to accommodate my needs. I recently had a dental emergency where I lost a tooth, and they returned my request for an appointment immediately! They even came in on Friday which is typically a day off for them!!! Fantastic experience: Ive been going to Walden dental since 2018. I’m very satisfied with the service and care I have received over the years. Dr. Frank is a such a great dentist. Emily and Sara who are part of the assistants team are very kind and caring. I definitely recommend this place strongly!

Fantastic experience: I have never been to another dentist anywhere close to as good as Walden, not even close. The staff are all extremely kind and knowledgeable and beyond being amazing at what they do it's a pleasure to see them each and every time. As a business owner it's oftentimes hard to make time for the dentist and they are sensitive to that. I just went in for the first time in a few years and they had a plan to quickly get x-rays to confirm everything and then got right into fixing all that needed to be addressed. No wasted time, no unnecessary procedures, just top notch dentistry performed by a top notch team.

Negative experience: Updating to one star based on my overall experience at this establishment. EDITING To add my response I never sent back to Dave because I was very taken aback by his comments. But years after this experience I still can’t believe his audacity to insert himself into my experience at this location. Especially now after getting such great care at another establishment. Dear Dave, Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to return your call as you only gave me eight hours in between your response to my one sentence review and it is a workday. If you truly wanted to get a “better understanding from my end”(excerpt from the voicemail you left me), it probably would’ve been a great idea to give me at least 24 hours, as that is pretty standard in the professional community. My one star review actually had nothing to do with our insurance claim and everything to do with my experience after my dental surgery. I’m confused how you can call our reviews “tag team testimonials” when we both received completely different procedures from your establishment but, like you also mentioned in your call, you’ve never met me so I’m not surprised that you didn’t know this information. I actually wrote a really kind review originally because I loved the treatment I received at the cedar park location. But now, especially after reading this elegant response you have left, I can’t honestly say that I can agree with most of the statements I wrote in my original review.

Fantastic experience: One of my fillings recently came out. I called into Walden Dental and they were able to get me in quickly. I came in and they found a few cavities and were able to take care of it the same day. I was very appreciative and hey we’re all very kind. They have earned my business and I will continue to come back after not visiting a dentist office in 6 years.

Fantastic experience: I just wanted to share my experience with Walden Dental. Dr Frank and his staff have gone above and beyond. On my most recent visit I had sudden tooth pain while eating. I also had chipped and loose teeth. I called the office and spoke with Emily, she went out of her way and let me come to the office immediately. Not only did they take care of the tooth that was causing me pain but in 1 day Dr Frank and his staff amazingly came up with a plan that also fixed my chipped and loose teeth. Dr Frank and his staff worked well past closing time to make sure when I left that my smile was perfect. Walden Dental has state of the art equipment and training that made it possible. Emily at the desk will make you feel comfortable and you can tell she cares about your needs. Dr. Frank's assistant was awesome as well. They all make you feel welcome and that they actually care about you. I will recommend Walden Dental for all you Dental needs. I should also mention my previous visit a couple years back. I was missing my 2 front bottom teeth. In 1 day Dr Frank and his staff came up with the most cost effective plan to restore those teeth via implant. I have had zero problems with the implant due to Dr Frank's expertise and the technology they use in the office. I just want to thank them personally again in this post. Thank you all.

The first thing the dentist said. “First off, I’m so proud of you for coming in. You made a big step and we will help take care of your teeth.” He didn’t shame me or make me feel bad. Fantastic experience: Kelsey gave me plenty of reminder about what she needed from me bf the appointment and for the appt itself. Kasey gently cleaned my teeth and so pleasant to talk to. Dr. Frank gave simple feedback from my X-rays. In a personal note, I liked the calm music and pretty image of Walden pond in front of me. Stunning. So relieved to finally find a dentist that meets all my needs.

Fantastic experience: Unfortunately, I was unable to continue with the dentist I had been going to for quite some time due to changes in my insurance plan. I ended up going with another dentist and after every visit, I got a "keep up the good work". I found it odd that some of the things my prior (trusted) dentist was keeping an eye on were no longer being mentioned by my new dentist. After a few cycles of visits, things with the new dentist started getting a little odd when it came to them keeping my appointments on schedule. The combination of inconvenience and a growing skepticism over the quality of care led me to search for a new dentist. Enter Walden Dental. This team is A+. Without mentioning the things my trusted dentist was keeping an eye on, Dr. Frank noted them within the first visit. We got a treatment plan together and got to work. I continue to be impressed by the quality of care and commitment to getting things 100% right even if the treatment needed goes over schedule. These guys even responded to my dental emergency and took care of me on a Sunday. Blew me away. After a couple of years without having a dentist and dental team I could trust, I'm happy to say that I'm in incredibly capable hands with Dr. Frank and his team.

Fantastic experience: Excellent dentist. Very patient and will explain all the options clearly. Gentle with treatments, extremely professional. Reasonable out of pocket expenses if you have family visiting without dental insurance having dental emergencies. Overall five star experience with easy scheduling and follow ups. My entire family goes here now including a couple of colleagues and friends that we referred as well. Look no further if you need dental cleaning or treatments.

Fantastic experience: As soon as I walked into Walden Dental I was greeted by Kelsey. I was impressed that she remembered me because it had been 6 months since I was there. While I was waiting in walked Emily from helping a patient. Emily always has a wonderful smile and she asked me how I have been doing. She always makes me feel comfortable. Sara was the associate that cleaned my teeth and took x-rays. She was awesome. Very detailed in her work. Overall everyone exceeded my expectations!!!

Fantastic experience: Dr Wolfington and the staff at Walden Dental are fantastic. I was disappointed to learn they no longer take my dental insurance but it was worth every penny to pay for Dr Wolfington to remove a crown, do a root canal, and make a new crown. Ive not had one second of pain since the procedure was completed yesterday. This is the second crown he’s done for me. The first one is why I wanted him to do the second one.

Fantastic experience: This dentist office is the best I’ve found in the area! The dentists are super professional and extremely knowledgeable! Everyone is really nice and make you feel welcome and at ease. Every visit has gone smoothly and they don’t try to sell you things you don’t need. This place is like a well oiled machine. They are very well liked, which makes them busy. So they get you in and out quickly, while still doing a great job!

From the minute I stepped into the place and leaving after four hours of work on my teeth it was simply the best experience I have had at a dentist. Emily at the front desk was absolutely amazing and makes you feel so comfortable. After meeting Dr. Frank I knew I was in good hands. Fantastic experience: To be honest, I never thought I would take the time to sit down and write a review of a dentist, however my recent visit to Dr. Frank AND the very supportive staff has compelled me to do this. For starters, I place a high value on the quality of dental work, the clear manner in which procedures will be performed, the explanations for why I need the procedures, the explanation of costs, the efficiency of the office from the moment I step inside and the "feel" I get when I am sitting in the chair and listening to the activity around me. It was all extremely professional, efficient (fast), compassionate and friendly - yes, all of them. I've never been able to say this about a visit to the dentist. I was in the area for work and I had scheduling needs that didn't necessarily line up with their openings, however they managed to make it work. They cared THAT much and I was well taken care of. I don't live in the Austin area, but I will more than likely return to the area (which will include a plane flight) for my next cleaning. And I don't say any of this lightly. Fantastic experience: My experience at Walden dental was top notch. Walking in, i was immediately greeted at the desk and put into the work flow. As soon as I finished my paper work Casey began working on X-rays and teeth cleaning. Casey is the most professional, polite and patient dental hygienist I’ve ever had. She walked me through every step in the process and took the time to answer any questions and explain the processes to me. Soon after, dr Frank came in to introduce himself and present my dental health plan. He was very professional, focused and well spoken. He laid out the plan precisely and made sure I understood I was a stakeholder in my own health. Closing out the appointment was a smooth process. They made sure to explain my referrals and on going plans and let me pay for my appointment. Overall I would say the experience was easily the best dental visit I’ve had. Also they have a very good dog.

Fantastic experience: This place is FANTASTIC! I had not gone to a dentist in over 10 years and I was terrified that I'd need a ton of dental work. I don't have dental insurance so I was extra nervous. When I called for an appointment the receptionist, Emily, was so kind and knowledgeable. She put me at ease that they'd be able to work with my budget and my teeth might not be as bad as I thought. When I got there I was greeted by 2 sweetheart labradors that belonged to the owner of the office. My dental hygienist was an angel. She was so thorough and patient and even though it had been a decade and my gums were sore it was a surprisingly painless experience. I have been less relaxed at the salon! The dentist was knowledgeable and friendly. The office itself is lovely with good vibes. I thought I had a good dentist in NYC and Walden Dental made it look like a back-alley chop shop! Not once did I feel pressured to spend more money, nor shamed. Thank you Walden Dental for the best experience I've ever had at the dentist! I was only sorry I had not come in sooner.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going here for what seems like a year now, and I will absolutely continue no matter what! I absolutely love everyone in this office, they have the most caring and compassionate staff in Central Texas. The staff tries to get to know you, and actually remembers what you tell them! Every cleaning they bring up conversations we had SIX months ago! I would like to shout out Dr. Wolfington for helping me through two root canals! RDA Lara, you’re an amazing addition to their staff, and I appreciate the extra help you provided me yesterday! The hygienist, Sarah, gives the BEST cleanings ever, she is so fast and talkative throughout, I get excited when she gets assigned mine! Overall, I cannot recommend this place enough, I personally drive an hour just for them! P.S. they have the CUTEST dogs to help calm your nerves ❤️

Fantastic experience: I had come in for a tooth that hurt whenever I pushed it. The office is simple and modern, and everyone was so friendly. Dr. Frank and Angela were very patient and understanding. They listened to my concerns carefully and helped explain everything I had doubts about. I had another tooth that needed some serious care and they fixed it with a same-day crown; the procedure was fast and pain-free, and was way better than the temporary crowns / metal I had to get at another place. The tooth that hurt turned out to be due to an off-bite and my nighttime grinding, and they were able to recommend what I can do to help it. I've been to 4 different dentists before, and Walden was definitely the best. Would give 10 stars if I could!

Fantastic experience: Walden Dental has given me a sense of confidence I haven’t had in a very long time. Growing up, oral health wasn’t too much of a priority in my family and I suffered for it as an adult. A toothache caused me to walk into Walden Dental for the first time and I had to overcome quite a bit of anxiety. Walking through the door, I met Emily who greeted me with such a friendly and positive attitude. The toothache was fixed, and we came up with a treatment plan to get my smile where I wanted it to be. Quite a few trips later, Dr. Wolf provided me with a massive confidence boost and a smile that I’ve been complimented on many times. I don’t have to go very often these days (usually just my bi-annual cleaning), but when I walk in the door I’m still greeted by the same friendly smiles and folks who know who I am. Emily, Sarah, and Dr. Wolf have shown me a dentist office doesn’t have to be a scary place, and I’ll forever be grateful for them for giving me a smile I’m proud of. Thank you all so very much!

Fantastic experience: I had been seeing a dentist in SE Austin where he was good at his job but his office was not. Too many people with the same appointment time and ridiculous wait times when many of them showed up, as one example. Walden Dental makes our appointment times ours alone which translates into no waiting time on arrival. The office is ultra modern, surgically clean with the newest and most impressive technologies. The staff are all cheerful and friendly making us truly feel welcome. And after a lifetime of other Dentists across the country, Dr. Frank stands out as unequaled in his procedures and results. I would award 6 stars if I could.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Frank of Walden Dental was a miracle worker! A godsend! He was able to put me back together after my old front crown snapped off 2 weeks before I was going on an oversea trip. Not only Dr. Frank was able to provide me an implant and a temporary bridge (all in one visit!) he also possibly saved me an expensive trip to the oral surgeon whom the previous 2 dentists I saw recommended. Seeing how apprehensive I was about traveling overseas with a temp bridge, Dr. Frank offered to make me a spare one so I can take with me. Dr. Frank (and his team) was undoubtedly extremely patient, professional, and best of all, compassionate. As a bonus Dr Frank’s practice was equipped with many cutting edge technologies! A big shoutout to Emily at the front desk who took the time (despite being after hours) walking me through the new patient process. Fantastic experience: Hands down the best dental experience I’ve ever had. Right from my first visit I was welcomed warmly. I’ve had several crowns and this was by far the best experience. They have the equipment to make the crown while you are there (no temporary crown and waiting for weeks before the permanent is available) The office staff are extremely knowledgeable, the hygienist are gentle and the dentist was caring and did a phenomenal job. I had an appointment that had to be rescheduled at the last minute and Emily was very understanding and accommodating. I highly recommend Walden dental!

Fantastic experience: I been going to Walden Dental for about 5 years now. The staff is very warm and welcoming. It is a a small family owned business run by the dentist Dr. Frank and his wife Emily. They make a great team. They really care about customers. They are both comforting and put you at ease. You are in really good hands with them. The whole staff from Heather the receptionist to Angela the dental hygienist, everyone is amazing! I amazed by the update to date technology they incorporate in their practice to. They use 3D technology that actually make your crown right there in the office. I would recommend Walden Dental to everyone.

Fantastic experience: I want to thank Dr. Frank, Emily, and the entire staff at Walden Dental for providing me with excellent care. I have been very happy with my dental care since I began being treated at Walden Dental about 8 months ago. With this recent issue, Emily went out of her way to respond to my frantic text messages in the early morning hours before the business even opened and for two days in a row they squeezed me into the schedule immediately when I contacted them in pain. When it came to scheduling appointments they went the extra mile to check my insurance benefits to make sure time between services didn't result in extra fees. The dental hygienist that did my routine cleaning was amazingly thorough and gentle. The doctor walked me through his assessment and all the potential options. It made me feel like I had a say in the direction of my dental health and I really appreciate that. They even reached out to me the day after my appointment to make sure everything was okay! Fantastic experience: Absolutely the best dentist I have ever dealt with. Dr. Frank and his staff care about their patients and it shows in everything they do. I also love that Dr. Frank is a fellow vet and continues the mantra of vets helping vets that means so much to us. My teeth were badly damaged in an explosion in Iraq and Dr. Frank built me back to a perfect smile. I can not recommend them enough. I know they also do a lot of philanthropy throughout the community this speaks to his character as well.
