Fantastic experience: This dental office has truly taken me by surprise. Not only is the staff extremely welcoming and knowledgeable, but this office has left me with a confidence i have not felt in years ! Once again, 10/10 without flaws.

Fantastic experience: I just wanted to thank everyone who helped me out with scheduling and finding time for me. I had been putting this off for years because I was so scared. Dr. Oanh Pham is amazing and the lab which made my front tooth crown did an amazing job. My smile looks beautiful again for the first time in a long time. I also want to thank Dr. Wolf who is at the other locations for filling in when there was an issue. And the wonderful lady at foothills who was helping him, I forgot her name I'm sorry. I get to enjoy birthday cake this weekend thanks to everyone and I am so grateful.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been seeing Dr. Danny Abboud for over 15 years and couldn’t be happier with the care I’ve received. He’s done a lot of work for me over the years, including two implants, and everything has always been excellent. The office runs smoothly—appointments are always prompt, and the team is professional and welcoming. The insurance plan is well-managed, the reception staff is great, and the hygienists are thorough and friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Abboud and his team for top-quality dental care!

Fantastic experience: I went to BDC for the first time this week and I absolutely loved it. I have a lot of anxiety about doctors so Dr.Pham walked me through everything, making sure none of my questions went unanswered. I felt super comfortable and the staff was so nice.

Negative experience: After experiencing a lot of pain and bleeding after a cleaning at the Arapahoe location (which I've never experienced before and am very good about going to cleanings every 6 months), I decided to try the Canyon Blvd location instead. After 10 minutes for "polishing and flossing" at the beginning of my appointment, I sat in the chair for nearly 40 minutes with no update or check in from anyone while the dentist was "in a procedure." I finally decided to leave the appointment and I will not return to this practice. Do not recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have had the pleasure of using the Canyon location for a few years, then had to be away from dental care for three years. Never a good thing to do by the way.... I was able to get in quickly to the Arapahoe location recently, and am very pleasantly surprised and amazed at the major technique changes to dentistry! The team at the Arapahoe location has been very responsive and caring. I really liked the folks at the Canyon location in the past and am very happy to now be over with the crew at the Arapahoe location. Note that I often drive over 80 miles one way to come to this location so , yes, well worth the trip!

The dentists always explain any diagnosis or treatments very well. It's easy to make appointments, and the entire staff is very courteous and friendly.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient with Dr. Abboud since early 2013, and have consistently received excellent dental care from him, including several crowns and root canals. His hygienist Brittany has worked with me for the past several years, and is the best I've ever had.

Dr. Abboud is great, very knowledgeable and what I really like about him is that he is conservative in his treatment options, only performing dental work when it’s necessary. I have Brittany as a dental hygienist and she is great, very meticulous, and always is willing to answer my questions about my dental health. Overall, a great experience!

Negative experience: Just so you know they are out of network for CU student dental plan since 2025 but they did not inform their customers and they raise the basic cleaning price and the cleaning is basic

Negative experience: This place is a revolving door of people working there. I’ve lived in Boulder for almost 8 years and never seen the same hygienist or the same dentist. This is going twice a year for my cleanings. If you do not pay for their dental plan the cleaning is twice the cost of a normal dentist. The people that work at the front desk may be nice but the only reason they’re nice is they’ve only worked there for six months and there will be a new person working there in the next six months. Whoever owns this place clearly does not care about staff retention or having to be an environment in which people want to come back to. I would highly recommend if you want any level of consistency in your dental care to stay as far away from Boulder Dental as humanly possible you will never see the same person in any capacity when you go into this establishment In relation to the response to this review I 100% was a customer/patient of the canyon location for the last seven years I find it very very disingenuous for Boulder Dental center to reply and say that I am not a customer of theirs with only using my first name. Pretty funny that this is the way that they go about discredit my review.

Negative experience: Their Better Business Bureau rating is an "F", and it's accurate. They know they have a continuous stream of college students, so they don't care when they lose clients. They will perform very quick/shoddy work, their teeth cleaning is extremely basic and then they bill your insurance for extra cleaning that did not occur. Both my wife and I got billed for extra things that never occurred and were never discussed. There are far better dentists in Boulder. Our new dentist is well aware of this dental office, as many of their clients have told them horror stories. But, again, continuous stream of college students to keep Boulder Dental busy. Strongly recommend avoiding.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience at this office! I received a very pain-free cleaning and the doctor detailed all of the information on the next steps I had to take to keep my teeth healthy and clean. I would highly recommend this office to anyone who wants to be more informed about their dental health and receive a cleaning.

Negative experience: I came in due to the dentist partially removing a side filling at a previous visit. It was not on purpose, at least I didn't think so, but had to return yesterday to have it repaired with another side filling. I was put off by having to pay for the first filling that had I not come in would still be intact. Secondly, the doctor did not ask if I wanted anesthesia, he just went ahead and did it, saying, "to be safe". I'm a big boy and can make my own decisions. The two previous visits, I was asked, and I turned them down. My mouth still hurts from the injection site, and wasn't impressed.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Pham is great! I have been going to dentists for years and what I find refreshing about Dr. Pham is that she is cheerful and no nonsense! She explains everything that is about to take place and never tries to upsell you. This is unusual. Just straight talk.

Negative experience: WORST DENTAL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!! THE STAFF IS EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNHELPFUL. WENT FOR A ROOT CANAL AND THE DENTIST FORGOT TO EVEN OUT THE BITE ON MY TEMPORARY AND SPENT A NIGHT IN AGONIZING PAIN. THEY GIVE YOU A PRICE UPFRONT FOR A PROCEDURE AND THEN HIT YOU UP FOR MONEY ON THE WAY OUT. VERY DISHONEST AND INCOMPETENT OFFICE. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!I THE OFFICE MANAGER SITS DOWN AND WORKS OUT A PRICE WITH YOU THEN ON THE WAY OUT THE FRONT DESK HAS A SCHEME AND A CON GAME WHERE THEY DEMAND MORE MONEY FROM YOU. IF YOU DONT PAY THEY IMMEDIATELY SEND YOU TO COLLECTIONS EVEN THOUGH YOU HAVE A CONTRACT. ITS QUITE THE LITTLE GRIFT THEY PULL OFF. ITS MY UNDERSTANDING THAT THEY HAVE BEEN IN SOME SORT OF TROUBLE IN THE PAST FOR SIMILAR BEHAVIOR. I HAD TO RETAIN 2 LAWYERS TO INVESTIGATE THEM FOR PROBABLE LITIGATION.. IM 65 YEARS OLD AND HAVE HAD MANY DOCTORS AND DENTISTS IN MY LIFE AND NEVER SEEN SUCH ABSOLUTE DISHONESTY. IN THE LAST 8 MONTHS I HAVE PAID THEM CLOSE TO $10,000 AND THEY SENT ME TO COLLECTIONS FOR $263 AFTER REFUSING TO EVEN TALK TO ME ABOUT A BILL I DO NOT EVEN OWE! ADDITIOALLY, THE DENTIST THAT DID MY ROOT CANAL WAS AWFUL AND I HAD TO HAVE HER WORK CORRECTED THE NEXT DAY, VERY PAINFUL, ATTORNEY WILL BE LOOKING INTO THIS MATTER. SAVE YOURSELF FROM ONE OFTHE WORST EXPERIANCES OF YOUR LIFE AND GO ANY PLACE ELSE OR YOU WILL REGRET IT.

Negative experience: Every time I went it was a different dentist. My electric tooth brush does a better job cleaning my teeth than they do. This place will get you in and out as fast as possible regardless of any questions you may have for them. They said things would be covered by my insurance that weren't covered, then I got a threating text message months later that they'd send me to collections for an unpaid balance. This was my first notification that I owed them anything in the first place. AVOID this dentist. Treatment is subpar and they'll surprise you with unpaid balances and threating text messages.

Fantastic experience: Very helpful staff. Dr. Lee explained treatment plan very well and made recommendations and changes that are best suited to me.

Negative experience: I would HIGHLY advise to not come here! My experience with Dr.Abboud and the workers here have been awful. I came in for an emergency root canal and crown treatment back in 2021 and have had to come back 3 times to re-do a dental crown that keeps breaking. Dr. Abboud lacks kindness and empathy and does very poor work as dental crowns should not be breaking in less than one year. He rushes his work and does not take the time to make sure the treatment is done well hence why my crown has been put in poorly 3 times. Also, this clinic has lied to me telling me an appointment will not cost me anything but then charge my insurance and demand payment for a treatment I was told was going to be free. All in all, PLEASE AVOID if you do not want to deal with nightmare!!!

Negative experience: I scheduled a teeth cleaning appointment last fall for April of 2025 at the Canyon location. BDC was listed as in-network by Anthem BCBS. I received a bill recently from BDC that I owed the out-of-network charge. I talked to Anthem and they said that location had canceled their in-network contract in November, after I had made the April appointment. Anthem also said that it was BDC's responsibility to notify me. I called the Canyon location where the service was provided. The manager told me it was Anthem's responsibility to notify me that they had canceled the contract for that location and that it was also my responsibility to check with Boulder Dental Center before my appointment to make sure they were still in network. She didn't stop to think that it would have been impossible for Anthem to notify me as I had never visited BDC before. In addition, she was rude: when I mentioned they had lost a customer, she said "so what?". With this type of behavior, I will never return. Buyer Beware!

Negative experience: This was the first dental cleaning where I had immense pain and extreme bleeding. I thought that it may have been due to the length of time between cleanings, but I have never had this much pain during a dental appointment before. The dentist began using a powerful water tool to scrape my teeth without telling me and continued to scrape my gums and teeth even with me crying out in pain and actually crying in the chair. My mouth was sore for the rest of the day. The dentist needs to remember that there is a human attached to the teeth they are working on. The hygienist, Danielle, was amazing and the only reason why I am giving this place 2 stars instead of 1. She made sure to explain what she was doing and why. She also told me to raise my left hand if I was experiencing any pain and she would stop whatever it was she was doing. This is how you treat a patient.

Fantastic experience: Boulder Dental Center took great care in all of teeth cleanings. They also recently installed two crowns, one with a bridge for me in my implants, and took great care in sizing and fitting the crowns, as well as matching the color to my other teeth. All of my questions and concerns were addressed, and the experience overall exceeded expectation.

Fantastic experience: I cracked a tooth in half at 8:50 AM and was sitting in the chair at 9:20 AM. I really appreciated their flexibility in seeing me on such short notice. The procedure was quick and painless and I'm being seen for the permanent crown soon. Highly recommended!

Negative experience: They forgot that I was scheduled for an x-ray during my appointment. They then sent me a form that stated that I would release them from responsibilities resulting from my "refusal" to have an x-ray and asked me to sign the form. I said no. I don't know what these people are running here, but it's not a respectable dental office.

Negative experience: If I could leave 0 stars I would! Steer clear of this Dental office. They have shady financial practices. First we received a bill for over $600 when we have insurance that were told would cover the services. When I called they apologized for the mistake and said they would refund us. Over two months later and two more calls back we still had not obtained refund, each time given an excuse. We did finally get a refund. Next appointment we again received a bill saying that insurance didn't cover it. After I contacted our insurance and I thought the issue was resolved we were sent to collection without any additional notice. When I called they said they had sent additional notices. Steer clear of this place!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Khiem is wonderful! He set my very anxious teenager's mind at ease. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: I would give zero stars if I could due to the horrible medical problems I had secondary to poor quality of treatment and evaluation I had done at this clinic. If you value your health, your teeth, and want to know that you’re being properly evaluated, GO ANYWHERE ELSE. In October, I had a crown placed by Dr. Pham on back molar due to a filling that had fallen out resulting in the formation of a large cavity. I was pregnant at that time. Crown procedure went great and we were able to salvage the tooth and avoid a root canal. That’s where the good ends. In January, I returned to clinic for horrible tooth pain in the same general area as where I had my crown placed. After taking a coupe of XR I was told there’s a couple of other cavities but everything was fine and to schedule further fillings. Two days later I was at my primary care office with a horrendous bacterial sinus infection and soon after a fever of nearly 104. I was given antibiotics and sent on my way. After that treatment failed, I was given yet another round of antibiotics which also failed landing me with a referral to ENT and continued facial pressure, pain, foul smelling nasal discharge I can only akin to rotting flesh. ENT confirmed there was still an infection and prescribed a THIRD round of antibiotics, systemic steroids, and round the clock nasal rinsing. This also failed. At this point I am almost 3 months in with intermittent fevers, pain, inability to even spend time with my newborn baby because looking down would cause drainage and intense discomfort. Eventually landing me in the ER with blurred vision and a CT scan confirming that the tooth that had gotten the crown placed was abscessed and the root of this entire infection. Which all ended with this same tooth being extracted after already paying 1.5k to get it fixed in the first place and will now need an implant. I was able to get a hold of my records to transfer dentists just to see that the XRs done when I first presented with pain in January were poorly done (earrings completely obscuring the affected area on Pano with no attempt to retake images) and the ones that were ok clearly showing an area of periapical lucency concerning for an infection. Which I then ran by a family friend who is a dentist to confirm what I was seeing was correct. Had attention been given to proper evaluation and identification of an issue with someone presenting in pain in an area that recently had work done, all of this could have been avoided. I am now looking at likely chronic inflammatory damage of the sinuses and sinus surgery to fix what could’ve been prevented. And time with my first child I’ll never get back and never was never able to enjoy for 3 months because of negligent care and thousands in costs in my future to replace this tooth. Unacceptable, unbelievable, and sub standard quality of care.

Fantastic experience: The staff is great! I had a cap come off and they were able to get it put back on very quick. I was in and out within 40 mins and was able to return to work pain free. Thank you!

I was having issues with my insurance and they were prompt to make my options clear. The staff was very professional and nice to work with and the office was clean as well!

Fantastic experience: I've had cleanings here for the last two years and it has been a positive experience, as much as someone can have when experiencing dental tools! I like that the doctor I have had patiently answers questions I have.

Negative experience: The office staff was very kind, but the dentist I saw was one of the most inept medical professionals I’ve ever met. Both my parents work in the medical field, and the information he gave me about my permanent retainer was both incorrect and delivered very rudely. He also asked me when my “baby” was due (I’m not pregnant and don’t look like it). Will not be going back.

Fantastic experience: This office is new to me, and yet I feel very at home there. Emily, Sam and Aleka at the desk are friendly, helpful and lighthearted. Dr. Pham and her assistants put me at ease and did excellent work on my teeth. I call what she does magic. Dr. Pham also will take all the time you need to explain procedures - I could relax with the information. I highly recommend this office.

Negative experience: Stay away from this place. They have no customer service. No integrity and will basically screw you over and over. Dental work was acceptable at best but don't worry they will check your insurance and say you don't have to pay. Then say woops we were wrong and hit you with a massive bill. Then to make things worse when you call and discuss it, they take payment over the phone but actually don't run it so a month or 4 later...you guessed it you will get the bill again. However if you question it, they will say that they will call you back, but they won't. Then you guessed it a month later the bill turned up again. Save your self pain and suffering and find a different dentist, one that can probably tie their shoe laces as the way these guys manage this practice I totally doubt they could tie a single one if all of them got together and tried to work on it as a shared project. However if of course you like to suffer and constantly like to chase, hound ppl on the phone and figure out what's going on at all times. This is the place for you. Good luck

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff. Doctor Mcgregor was great and explained everything very clearly. They were also able to book me as a new patient very quickly.

Negative experience: I went there for my regular dental check-up and cleaning, which are covered by my insurance. I asked the doctor whether the procedures they were conducting would cover insurance. The doctor and the receptionist told me that my insurance would cover it. After three months, they sent me a message that I had outstanding fees of USD 300. They do not communicate properly about the cost, and you have to pay later. Avoid this dental center. DON'T TRUST THE REVIEWS. THEY BUY THEM BY GIVING THE REVIEWERS A GIFT.

Fantastic experience: The staff at Canyon is amazing. They are very patient and kind. I struggled, understanding my insurance coverage. The office manager, Adam was very patient and kind by taking the time to explain and help me understand my insurance coverage, including taking immediate action to submit a pre-authorization To ensure my dental needs were addressed immediately. I’ve been a patient there on and off for the past five years. I would recommend Boulder Dental Center to any and everyone in Boulder County!

Fantastic experience: Since moving here from Dallas, my experiences with Boulder Dental Center, specifically Dr. Michael McGregor have been top notch. Dr, McGregor and his team go out of their way to explain and provide service that I, personally, am not excited about receiving. Thanks for taking the extra steps for my comfort! My wife and children will be making appointments soon too.

Negative experience: I take back my previous review: I went in to see the orthodontist today and the staff was gossiping about other coworkers and patients while I was waiting. Additionally by the time I saw the orthodontist he was very rude and short with me. Very unprofessional. The dental hygiene section can’t coordinate with the orthodontist and they take it out on patients. Do NOT go here!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Boulder Dental Center on Canyon. The staff are very welcoming and I have always received excellent treatment there, from painless teeth cleaning to a recent dental implant.

Negative experience: 0 stars, find anywhere else. They will ruin your teeth to get you to buy expensive procedures. There was a different dentist every time I came in for a cleaning. They have outdated equipment, can't see anything on their Xrays. One cleaning they said everything was perfect, next time I came in they said I had 5 cavities. I figured they were small so I went to get 3 of them filled, dentist drilled one so far it needed a root canal. Was suspicious at this point so went elsewhere to get that done (was much cheaper at the new place as well). New place said I didn't have any cavities (so I guess the other 2 disappeared), which made me question whether I even needed to fill the other 3 and get the root canal in the first place. They also inflate their 5 star rating with a free waterpik, so beware of the good reviews.

Negative experience: I want to preface this by saying I would not recommend this location, no matter how convenient or cheap it may be for you. I came here a few years ago for a routine check up and ended up having a cavity filled. The filling subsequently caused so much sensitivity that I had shooting nerve pain in my jaw from any hot/cold substance (even just walking outside on a cold day triggered it). They redid the filling saying it would fix the issue but it did not. They redid the filling a second time. After months of constant pain I went to *two separate dentists* for a second opinion, both were genuinely horrified at how poorly the filling had been done. I ended up needing a root canal and have spent upwards of $2,500+ due to this. Never in my life has a single filling caused me any amount of pain, so thank you to this office for providing the worst dental experience of my life and costing me so much.

Fantastic experience: Boulder Dental fit me in the same day, Dr. Pham and Beth (the dental hygienist?) were friendly, and there was almost no wait time. Would recommend based on my experience!

Fantastic experience: Dr Pham is a goddess of teeth, an angel of the mouth, the grace of a swan returning from the frosts of winter. I used to fear the dentist, now, thanks to Dr Pham’s gentle finesse and care, I can dream of a world in which scheduling a cleaning happens more than every 10 years, requiring only a modest sliver of my courage ♡

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this dental clinic for many, many years. They have always taken excellent care of my all dental needs in a very professional and very friendly manner. I highly recommend this dental clinic and I am sure that you too will be very happy and very pleased with their great care and service.

Negative experience: I switched dentists because they 1) charged me for treatment they did not even perform, and 2) overcharged both me and my insurance company for treatments they did do, not only once but twice in the same visit. I was the one who caught the mistake, they did not apologize and it took months to correct the error. I do not recommend coming here at all, and if you do, make sure you check your receipts and insurance benefits very carefully, as they are not competent. I also read on some of these Google reviews that they offered WaterPiks to people who would write them a good review.

Positive experience: Very satisfied with root canal performed by Dr Hao Tran. The care team worked very efficiently and with great care. Dr. Tran provided good commentary about what he was seeing and his actions. Minimal pain and recovery time. Very happy with result, care and service.

Communication is another area that requires improvement; emails are not responded to in a timely manner, often leaving patients in the dark. Alarmingly, I have experienced a situation where I was sent to collections despite having already settled the bill. Positive experience: I've had an overall great experience at Boulder Dental and have been a patient for years. The staff is professional and thorough. The reason for four stars is that I had one horrible experience with someone in billing. There was an unexpected charge (which happens), but the woman "helping" me was truly awful. It was likely the worst experience I've had with customer service, and the first time I've ever been yelled at by one. Luckily, I went in the office to talk about it. The front desk staff were very helpful, and I wished I had just talked to them from the start. Front desk, dentists, and all things teeth... 5 stars. Billing woman... 0 stars (I wish they went negative).

Negative experience: Dr. Abboud is horrible. Avoid him at all costs. I went for a 30 minute check-up. After dismissing my concerns, I was told that I needed an expensive deep clean. I was pressured to do the cleaning right then. No one discussed the incredibly painful and invasive procedure with me prior to starting. Dr. Abboud used so much novocaine that I had heart palpitations, however somehow numerous spots were still incredibly painful. Considering the novocaine was $300, I'd love to know what happened there.... Despite my best efforts, at one point I cried out in pain. Dr. Abboud did not stop to check on me, but replied, "You're fine." He was rapidly and aggressively filing plaque and a good bit of bone off of my teeth. There was no informed consent. I left feeling confused and violated. If I did my job with this lack of care, I would not have a job. Dr. Abboud, I suggest you read a book on emotional intelligence and reconsider your career path.

Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Dr. Lee at Boulder Dental Center enough!! I became a patient of hers about 6 months ago and she has done wonders for my dental health ever since! I had to receive a few filings and a root canal in that time and she made each of these procedures as quick and painless as possible. Negative experience: AVOID Boulder Dental Center AT ALL COSTS !!! Save your teeth, time, energy and money and absolutely avoid this place. This place pays people money to write 5 star reviews and has dentists who failed to do basic filling TWICE and don’t have the decency not to charge you for refilling done for shoddy work. Short story - They failed to do a simple filling TWICE and had the audacity to go back on their word for not charging the refilling and going ahead and charging for parts of it. A lot of other dentists have the basic courtesy to do a completely free refilling if their filling falls off within a couple years. When confronted with it, they said they would work to take down the charges only to go back on that as well when they found out I complained about them to my insurance. They also run very questionable billing practices and retained my money and did not even inform me of having a credit with them until I looked into my benefits summary etc. Here's the long story - I went here for a filling and Dr.Aboud did the filling which fell off in 8 months. He also somehow managed to cause a lot of pain and bleeding during the procedure despite being on anesthetics. I got the feeling that he is just not precise and careful with patient’s teeth. When the filling fell off, it caused me a huge amount of pain and for 3 months, despite filing several complaints with my insurance, they were insistent on not helping my insurance send my documents to them and saying they can only do a refilling for free with only Dr. Aboud and not anyone else. It's absolutely ridiculous that a business would not reimburse you for a shoddy job they did let alone just be seen by a different dentist from the same practice. They finally gave in and made me see Dr. Tran. She was very annoyed to have to deal with me especially at 6pm on a weekday, she did apologize for it and I let it slide, life happens. Before the appointment I verified twice that my whole visit is free and none of it will be billed to my insurance and they said yes TWICE. They had the audacity to charge my insurance for a “limited-oral exam” when I agreed for no such thing and I came in saying I already know the filling fell off. When asked about it, they said “it's standard procedure to bill that even if a dentist just looks into your mouth”. My insurance doesn’t cover it, which I knew that's why I made sure before the appointment, and the office manager said they will “look into removing it and will get back to me”. They never did and I filed a complaint with my insurance, unfortunately as it was more word of mouth the insurance understandably didn't do anything. When I called them back to remove that charge, the office manager said “Since you involved a third party, aka insurance, we can’t remove that charge and we would have to follow another route”. This is such a terrible excuse for not wanting to deal with criticism and going back on their own word so many times is just despicable. Oh did I tell you the filling Dr.Tran did had open contact and I had to go find another dentist to redo the filling AGAIN to avoid further damage to my tooth. It was a 6-7 month ordeal to deal with alongside a lot of tooth-ache, time waste and frustration. With this business you don't get dentists who care about your teeth at all, do really bad work on them and also administration which wants to extract as much money from you as possible with cheap tactics (see above and other 1-star reviews) and goes back on their own word. I am perplexed at how such business is allowed to exist.

Negative experience: TLDR: this place will ruin your teeth, DO NOT COME HERE Where do I start. Most recently, I came here for my regular cleaning — apparently because I didn’t call to confirm my appointment, they weren’t expecting me and the dentist made a point of letting me know. She rushed the entire cleaning, telling me I needed a filling but I would need to come in some other time because “we’re all ready to go home”. She said one of my other fillings that I’d gotten less than a year ago needed replacing because I clench and grind (I don’t and have never been told this before by a dentist in the past 10 years of my adult life, and I regularly go for my 2x annual cleanings. I was frustrated she was so rude and that the appointment was very rushed (I took time out of my day to come here and I HAD AN APPOINTMENT). But whatever. I scheduled an appointment to get my fillings fixed (I knew I should have gone elsewhere but I figured they’d at least do it for free since it was their shoddy work they were fixing). The next appointment was a different dentist who is at least nice, but (sorry) NOT GOOD AT HER JOB. She had to redo not 1 but 2 of the fillings she had done last time, and literally 2 days later one of them is ALREADY COMING OUT. See the photo and the big crater — I don’t understand how this could happen, it literally looks like the filling is completely gone. The hole is also huge and does not look appropriately sized, I have a feeling after reading some of the other 1 star reviews that they have really messed up my teeth. Oh, and also, the Novocaine lasted for 4 hours and my jaw still hurts to the touch 3 days later. So now I need to go to a different dentist and pay again to get this fixed, will come back to update when I find out just how much damage they’ve done. Other horror story just for fun: they used to have this dental cleaner assistant lady who literally used METAL FILE FLOSS in between my teeth and when I basically screamed at her to stop because what she was trying to get out is literally cement left over from my days of braces, she didn’t believe me. She had to have the dentist come in who immediately confirmed and told her to stop. So yeah, unless you want shoddy dental work, rude dentists, and permanent damage to your teeth, don’t come here (and don’t buy the 5 star reviews which were coerced with free water piks).

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Boulder Dental Center since I moved to Boulder in 2016. They are very organized, efficient, and the space is professional but calming. The dentists and hygienists have all been very nice, professional, and taken good care of my teeth, including fixing issues that arise. I appreciate being able to view digital x-ray images and photos of issues in my teeth to understand any work that is recommended, and transparent explanations of billing costs.

Fantastic experience: I travel down from A bit past Nederland to this office to get my teeth clean and i cant say enough about how pleasant and thorough they are here. My hygienist is so gentle but very effective. Adn they were playing Chappell Roan today when I arrived so obv five stars there ;) I highly recommend this practice!

I like the convenience of this office being in central Boulder as it’s important to have a full service dental office in downtown/central Boulder. The dental team is exceptional!
