Fantastic experience: The Hygienist doing a great job with caring and no pain thank you

Negative experience: I scheduled an appointment for an extraction and was told I needed to be examined as well. Didn’t have an issue with that. Booked the appointment. Was there for about an hour, spoke to a doctor about additional work that needed to be done. Had someone come and explain the breakdown of benefits and out of pocket cost and was then told that my extraction would not be able to be done that day. At no point was I told this before hand even by the doctor that I saw briefly, that there was no one at the location that could do the extraction. Staff was friendly, but I would just be sure you know you are going to be able to get whatever you go in for done before showing up. I was also told that they would reach out to the Dallas office to see if I could get my extraction done and that was about a week ago. I have not heard anything since.

Fantastic experience: As a new patient with an emergency tooth problem, I was given a same-day appointment for an exam and x-rays. It was quickly determined that I would require the services of an oral surgeon. They gave me two referrals and sent me on my way. I found the dentist and her staff to be kind, courteous, efficient and helpful, for the short time I was there. I plan on returning for further services.

Negative experience: Absolutely the worst dental experience I’ve ever had. I went in to see if this office had improved since my last visit four years ago, but unfortunately, nothing has changed. The dentist told me I needed six fillings, which immediately raised red flags. I followed up with my trusted dentist for a second opinion, who confirmed I had no cavities and that my teeth were completely healthy. This place is clearly more focused on upselling unnecessary procedures than providing ethical care. Thrive Dental is not a trustworthy practice, and I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for honest and professional dental care. There are much better options nearby.

Fantastic experience: Love it Kate and Emily Joe Josey and Bibi have been great I actually am impressed with my teeth staff is amazing I may not remember everyone name in the office but every staff member that works at the Richardson location I know they do rotate but they are very compassionate understanding and the lady with the really long hair that does financial part is always helpful very kind spirit all the ladies that worked today 10/26 Nice kind gentle smiles are everything and how you treat people goes along way and everyone there is always pleasant to me this office IS THE BOMB ! LOVE THE ENERGY NEVER LOW VIBRATION THIS HAS BEEN A JOURNEY THE LADY THAT HAS THE BEAUTIFUL LONG HAIR IS ALWAYS HELPING ME FROM THE BEGINNING EVERYONE IN THE OFFICE IS ALWAYS NICE AND I APPRECIATE YOU ALL I CANT THINK OF EVERYONE'S NAME BUT I GO ON SATURDAY AND THEY ALWAYS ARE PLEASANT AT THE RICHARDSON LOCATION LOVE IT THANK YOU ALL AGAIN ❤️❤️

Negative experience: This place used to be great, but sadly, it's gone downhill and now feels like everything is just a money grab. I recently went in to have a crown re-cemented after it came off from eating a candy apple. The crown itself wasn't damaged, so it should have been a simple fix. The dentist looked at the tooth and mentioned that I might eventually need a new crown or possibly an extraction both of which are expensive procedures. I explained that I just needed a temporary solution until I could afford more extensive work. Instead of helping, the assistant told me they wouldn’t do anything unless I paid for a full service only then could they give me a temporary crown. That makes no sense and felt incredibly unprofessional. I've had enough and I no longer recommend this place!

Negative experience: They cleaned my teeth too roughly after telling them multiple times that I had a chipped tooth filled in (by them) that I got two years prior. After leaving, my tooth that hadn’t chipped all 2 years, chipped for the first time. Came back last week for them to fill it in, and it has already chipped off AGAIN. I’m not sure if the workers were better when I came 2 years ago or what but spending money to continue to get my chipped tooth fixed all for it to break again is insane.

I wasn’t able to continue treatment because my original insurance plan was discontinued but as soon as I was able to opt into a new one they took, I immediately came back! Hands down the best location and clinic.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service and friendly staff. This was my first dentist since coming to Dallas. Dr.Choi took the time to walk me through what procedures would be needed and all the staff were responsive and patient with all the questions I had regarding insurance, scheduling, and preventative measures. They seem to take a conservative approach with what needs to be done to maintain your oral health, while other dentists in the past have pressured me to do certain procedures right away, they confirmed that if my teeth were healthy and not in pain, it was not urgent and rather a choice to be made when I really needed it. Alicia was very gentle with my teeth and gums. Bibi and Mariana were very friendly and walked me through all the steps to take as a new patient. The lobby was clean and everyone was hospitable. Will definitely be recommending Thrive to my friends and anyone looking for a dentist in the Richardson area.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been looking for a new dentist and so glad I came across this one! It is always clean and even has a place for my littles to keep themselves occupied while waiting. Dental assistant Shamoria did such an amazing job and answered so many of my concerns to be sure I would be comfortable with everything because i’m always nervous for dental work. Sure enough Dr. Reddy did such a great job and handled my teeth with so much care. I recommended this office to everyone! Their service is a 10/10.

I’ve had the pleasure of seeing both Dr. Reddy and Dr. Estefany, and they both have such gentle hands. The RDAs are absolute rockstars! I have a tori, and they were so careful and patient when taking my X-rays. And I can’t forget Alicia and Duyen—they always make my teeth sparkling clean! Highly recommend this place!

Fantastic experience: I have been looking for a new dentist office for so long and decided to google search for a new one near home since I have had some major pain from one tooth (cavity) and ended up getting it pulled out. The doctor Estefany was her name I think, she made it feel so calming and fast. I did a deep cleaning first and the hygienist Duyen was so gentle and I felt she did a very awesome job at cleaning my teeth. She was so sweet. Everyone there was so kind and very attentive from when I walked in the office. Very clean! I felt comfortable there. Also Monique was fast with taking my X- Rays, so sweet, Lora the financial front desk gal was very informative with everything I needed done. I will be definitely be coming back to Thrive-at Richardson

Fantastic experience: Switched to this dental office from the one I’ve been going to for the last 13 years…very clean and modern. I like that the staff is very friendly and the office has a pretty upbeat vibe. There are a lot of dentists here, so fortunately I was able to quickly book appointment to repair a filling before my dental benefit year expired. Call and make your appt with Joseline! Oh and they are open on Saturdays!

Negative experience: The nurses and doctors are exceptional, with consistently positive attitudes, which is the only reason my family continues to visit this office. However, the front desk experience varies. Laura, in particular, was super rude, impatient and displayed an arrogant attitude when I asks some insurance questions, which making me strongly consider switching offices for my entire family. Fortunately, other people in this office are good and nice. I hope to avoid encountering her in the future

She too took the time to clarify the billing process and offered various payment options for our expenses. The team also thoroughly addresses any concerns regarding your dental health. I received several fillings and braces, and I never encountered any issues with communication or had any unresolved concerns. They provided clear answers to all my inquiries. Additionally, this facility is the cleanest I have ever visited and maintains a high level of professionalism.
