Fantastic experience: Amazing office! They always run on time. They are so good with patients that have high anxiety like myself and my daughter. Dr. Morris did a great job on my first crown ever. He explained everything as he went and it was much better than I thought it was going to be. No temporary crowns there, they do the crown all in one day. They make your permanent crown while you wait so you don’t have to go back.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Jacobson and his staff are professional and excellent in their craft. I have had many dental issues and problems that were caused by a lifetime of mediocre dentists. Those concerns have for the most part been solved under Dr. Jacobson's care. I finally can smile with confidence! Additionally, I have referred many people to him and they are now his regular patients. His prices are fair for the caliber of work and he uses state of the art equipment. I recommend them highly.

Negative experience: I’ve been doing my exam and cleaning here for 4 years, it’s getting harder and harder to schedule a half year cleaning on time as they are too busy. It was good, and nurses were great. But this time I had a bad experience as the nurse seems new? The teeth cleaning is painful, the tooth keep hitting my gum, and the polish router hurt my gum and it’s still swallowed after a day.

Last year I was only able to get 1 appointment due to a nation-wide hygienist shortage, but this year I was able to get 2. My daughter and I had back-to-back appointments, but since one of the hygienists had a cancellation, they saw us both at the same time, so I was able to get done an hour earlier than expected!

Fantastic experience: Found this office using a Google search to find somewhere close to home and work. From the initial phone call to make an appointment to in person at the office, everyone was nice and seemed happy to be there. I noticed other patients getting called back knowing their hygienist and vice versa. Kelly was my hygienist and was great. She took her time to explain everything she was about to do and why so there weren't any surprises. Dr. Morris did my exam and was also friendly and willing to answer any questions may have had. I was also impressed with a 3D model they did as I haven't seen that technology before, so easy and not invasive like old fashioned molds can be.

Fantastic experience: The office staff and hygienist are so friendly and professional. Dr Morris is thorough and explains everything. I’m having my teeth aligned using SureSmile (similar to InvisAlign). Everyone has been helpful and the process has been very easy.

Fantastic experience: I just moved back to MI and already scheduled a dental appointment with the Jacobson Dental group in March 2025 because of their excellent service and proficiency of the dental clinicians. My entire family had been patients of this practice for more than 10 years before relocating to another state. I highly recommend this dental practice for their friendly, accommodating and highly skilled staff.

Negative experience: A picture is worth 1000 words. This is an x-ray image of the perforated root I suffered from my visit to Jacobson Dental Group. This is the kind of work performed by Dr. Meena Sabnis, a staff member at Jacobson Dental Group. The X-ray on the left is a X-ray that was taken by an endodontist at a second opinion appointment I made in order to find out why I was experiencing extreme pain following the root canal performed at Jacobson Dental Group. Dr. Jacobson and his office have refused to admit they botched this root canal even after they were confronted with the evidence obtained from the endodontist. To add insult to injury they charged me, and my insurance, for the procedure - I believe, knowing full well what they did. Jacobson Dental removed X-rays that were taken during the root canal from my patient records. They replaced those images with a single, altered image, in an attempt to hide their negligence. Only when I discovered they had billed my insurance company AND threatened to report them to the insurance company did they void the insurance claim - an entire month after the botched procedure was performed. Dr. Jacobson initially agreed to pay for the necessary treatments to correct the problem but he has not kept his word. Not only have I suffered through the original perforated root, I had to go through another root canal in an attempt to save the tooth. The redo root canal was extremely painful and involved opening the front of my gum to remove material before he could redo the procedure. Unfortunately, the redo root canal failed because of the extreme damage caused by the perforation. This resulted in the extraction of my tooth as recommended by an implant specialist. I suffered through the extraction of the tooth and the grafting surgery to my gum that followed. More than thirteen months later I am not finished with this ordeal. I have to have more grafting on my gum, implants and a bridge built to replace the tooth to repair the damage. Dr. Sabnis continues to work at Jacobson Dental Group. Dr. Jacobson and the implant specialist involved in the corrective process have charged thousands of dollars so far (much of it billed to my insurance) and I am not finished yet. Dr. Jacobson has refused to complete the final work necessary to correct the problem without billing my insurance further. Dr. Jacobson told me he no longer allows Dr. Sabnis to perform root canals. Thank God! But she is still employed there. For now, she still practices as a dentist therefore I feel a moral obligation to make others aware of the potential hazard of trusting Jacobson Dental Group to work on their teeth or the teeth of a loved one. Dr. Jacobson refuses to admit the X-rays in my patient file have been altered, leaving me no other choice but to report his office to the Michigan state regulatory board, my insurance company and file a lawsuit to recoup my losses. The images attached to this review are The x-ray taken by the endodontist at the second opinion appointment, clearly showing the perforation and the blurry image next to it is the altered image Jacobson Dental Group claims was taken at the time of the original root canal procedure performed by Dr. Sabnis. Dr. Jacobson explained the difference between the two X-rays as, “being the same exact image as the one taken by the endodontist’s office two days later, but from a different angle”. That’s his story and he’s sticking to it. Between six and 10 x-rays were taken on the day Dr. Sabnis performed the perforated root canal yet there was only this one x-ray in my file when I received my records from their office. Someone at Jacobson Dental Group disposed of all the other X-rays in my file and replaced those X-rays with this one and only altered image. I am a professional photographer, I can see it’s been Photo shopped. I think an amateur with no experience with photography or dentistry can come to the same conclusion.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Morris & his team were fantastic. I walked into the office early just as they opened. A very old cap came off, they were able to get me in right away to fix it. Dr. Morris did tell me the cap was very old. It should stay but if not, it will need to be replaced. So thankful they were able to quickly fix it.

Fantastic experience: They are awesome! I had some dental work my previous dentist said I needed, but they took xrays and verified I don't actually need that done. Dr. Morris gave me great steps to take care of my teeth to prevent them from becoming cavities and actually showed me why I don't need the fillings my other dentist said that I needed. He saved me time and LOTS OF money, and was very thorough in making sure I understood his reasoning. 20/10 would recommend :)

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a high quality dentist; look no further. Jacobson's Dental GRP has state of the art technology and the skilled staff to suit your needs. I've had 9 dentists during my 73 years, some good and some bad, but this was the best experience of my life. I required a crown that painlessly only took 2 hours for the entire process. They fabricate the crown while you wait for about 20 minutes, and then install it. It fit perfectly on the first try. The staff is very pleasant and will treat you well.

Fantastic experience: At 6 separate visits and multiple dentists and hygienists over the last few years, this office has really impressed me. With routine cleanings they are on-time, efficient, and friendly. With toothaches, there wasn’t a rush to do a more expensive procedure (e.g. avoiding jumping to a root canal and instead carefully drilling out a failed filling/cavity, to first do try a crown), but instead followed a methodical diagnostic process and had a really good chair-side manner. Highly recommend!

I got my crowns replaced a few years ago and they look fantastic. Also, when I het my teeth cleaned, the girl is so nice. We always catch up on things and she's very gentle and thorough .

Dr. Morris at the Jacobsen practice is right there in the top 3 I have ever had work on my teeth. And he's a young guy, so think I he's only going to get better! Knowledgable, proficient and gentle. You were doing your self a disservice if you do not use this dental group especially during this pandemic the cleanliness is impeccable compared to any medical office I have been in whenever. I have a need they take care of it on a very timely manner they are always available to listen to me and reassure me all work has always been wonderful they have taken my mother on an late night emergency basis and thats how I was introduced to the practice. This was just before new years and when no one else would see her and they took care of her instantly and effectively.I have never had one bad experience with any personnel in the office and every doctor is top notch

I thought I had a great dentist until after repeated complaints about a tooth with gum swelling he failed to diagnose an infection so I lost the tooth. I am looking for better care than what I got and my husband says look no more go to the Jacobson group. My initial visit was great I left feeling assured I will get good care.

Fantastic experience: A few weeks ago, I was experiencing major pain in my gums and jaw. I haven’t been to the dentist in a long time. Mostly because mine retired and I really didn’t know who to choose, along with life just getting in the way. Anyway, I went through several Facebook groups and Jacobson Dental Had a lot of reviews that discussed how comfortable this office made their patients. Having severe Tooth pain could put off calling dentist anymore. They got me in the following Monday. Doctor Morris and his assistant were wonderful. They truly made me as comfortable as possible. After an exam, it was determined that I needed a root canal. They were able to do it in office, Without having to send me to an end endontist. I was very nervous and anxious. They walked me through everything And did everything possible to make sure I was OK throughout the entire process. I will now be keeping them as new my regular dentist office. The staff is very nice and helpful too. Phew!
