Fantastic experience: This is Morine B. I was there this morning. Excellent care since entering through the door. Prompt service by the receptionist. The hygienist was thorough and explaining everything to me. I would highly recommend this dental care. The place was clean and smells fresh. The dentist explain everything that I needed in layman’s term. lol.

Fantastic experience: I'm an old dude with a lifetime of dental trauma. I had a great dentist when I was a kid, but my teeth were ruined by medieval orthodontia as a teen (foolish orthodontists used to hammer on metal bands with a wooden mallet, cracked all the enamel so my formerly sound teeth all decayed and split over the years). After my childhood dentist hung up his spurs, I went the rounds with around eight different dentists, so I have quite a bit of experience to compare. Mid-Columbia Dental has been a godsend, and leaps and bounds above any dentistry I've experienced since the 1970's. As I said, my mouth was pretty much wasted by the time I found Dr. Greer - I figured the remains were coming out and I'd get dentures. I didn't care about cosmetics, I just wanted to be able to eat a greater variety of food and not spend too long doing it, and I was open to suggestions. My biggest issue was my PTDD (Post Traumatic Dental Disorder) - I didn't want to suffer in the chair any more than I had to. MCD came up with a plan and I had all the major work done in a five-hour session under anesthesia (they line that up with a very well qualified mobile anesthesiologist) - this was something that no other local dentist was willing to tackle in one day - but Dr. Greer is a freaking HERO. That process began two years ago, and I have actually willingly gone to follow-up cleanings, and can actually eat at a normal pace without any pain for the first time since the 1980's. The last two cleanings were all like "keep up the good work!" - that is not something I used to hear from a dentist or dental hygenist. But Mid-Columbia Dental has not only restored my smile, they have restored my faith in dentistry. They really are the best in town.

Negative experience: I had a very frustrating experience with the front desk at this office. As soon as I started speaking and spelled my name, the staff member told me she couldn’t understand me and demanded me to text her my driver’s license without making any effort to listen or communicate respectfully. I speak English VERY clearly, and I’ve never had this issue with anyone else. I’m a scientist and had presented my work around the world and had zero problems having people understand me. Her tone was dismissive and frankly rude. I expected basic courtesy, not to be treated like a problem. This is discrimination and should not be tolerated. Please don’t go here if you have any accent;) if I had time I would definitely argue with them and make this a big deal. No one should be treated in this way. I don’t know about their doctors or anyone else, but the front desk was obviously not professional and her attitude was so bad.

Fantastic experience: The staff at Mid Columbia is extremely professional and efficient. They were able to see me within the same week of calling. Mia, the hygienist was exceptional, she was kind and welcoming and made my whole experience that much better.

Fantastic experience: I went to Dr. Orozco hoping that he could contour and/or add composite to my 4 front, upper teeth. I am 52 years old, and when I was younger hardly anyone was getting braces...and I really needed them! Years of chipping teeth because of this led me to ask what ended up going to 2 other dentists to contour/add composite. It did not go well - they looked worse - not better. I thought I would end up having to get veneers - spending lots of money. Luckily, I went to Mid-Columbia Dental and Dr.Orozco. He spent at least an hour shaping my teeth and they look AMAZING! I could tell that he CARED. He used a variety of tools and kept stopping to look at how things were progressing. He wanted to try and save me from spending money - and he did. I am so thankful for this and his expertise. My whole family will now be moving to Mid-Columbia Dental! I am adding to my review - just had one of the most gentle cleanings by Crystal. She was noticeably careful and attentive to detail. Too notch hygienist!

They have heated and massage chairs, they explain everything clearly with diagrams and depictions of your treatment, they even have a TV for you to watch a show during appointments! Simply put, they take their time, and have earned my full trust. I’m honestly so grateful I chose this practice, and it’s made a huge difference in how I feel about taking care of my teeth. Highly recommend to anyone who’s anxious about going to the dentist or just wants great care from kind, compassionate professionals.

Fantastic experience: I had pretty bad pain that started from a wisdom tooth coming in and ended up causing jaw and throat pain! It was really bad, I was able to call and get an appointment literally within the hour! Christine and Karen at the front desk were amazing in helping me get the appointment set and were super understanding!! I went back and was impressed with how swift they were about everything! They were actual able to go ahead and pull my three wisdom teeth right then and there! Which not going to lie for someone who has a major fear of the dentist and dental work, it was the best experience I’ve ever had! Dr. Garrett Stoker was very kind and patient with everything! He double checked I couldn’t feel anything before even starting the procedure, which may I add was very quick and was surprisingly painless! He was very kind and explained everything that he was doing which helped ease that dental anxiety! I wish I would have gotten the name of dental assistant because she was also really kind and helpful with everything! Making sure I was comfortable and overall just amazing! This dentist has the best dental team I’ve gotten the pleasure to meet! I will only be going here for any of my dental needs and I recommend you do the same!!!! Fantastic experience: Called and requested a consultation/2nd opinion appointment. They worked me in the next day. As it turned out Dr. Stoker reviewed my concerns, took some X-rays, discussed my options from his perspective, which turned out to be great news and saving a tooth vs having it pulled. I asked when they could do the work and they worked me in right then. 2 hrs later my problem was resolved and a risky oral surgery is not needed. I could not be happier with Dr. Stoker’s professional expertise, open and honest communication, his kindness and concern. The procedure was gentle and totally pain free. Dr. Stoker is the BEST and I highly recommend him and his staff for your dental needs. He will be my dentist from now forward.

Fantastic experience: Im not usually one to write reviews. However I hope my review might help someone with finding a great dentist, and team. I will be the first to share my anxiety with dentists. It stems from previous trauma at the dentist as a child. I was taken care of by Sarah who’s a hygienist. Who was great at easing my nerves, for my cleaning. When I had to get work done, I was greeted by Dr. Garrett Stoker and his assistant Alex. Let me just say this, Alex is an ANGEL. His hands are literally so soft. He is the most gentle with his patients. He assured me that I was in good hands and gave me the most comfortable dental experience I’ve ever received! He made sure I was not nervous before the doctor walked in, and made sure I was okay by making my visit not only comfortable by supplying a blanket, and a pillow, but making sure he understood my needs without making my needs feel like a burden. They basically walked me through my visit by holding my hand (figuratively.) they checked in every so often to make sure I was not in pain and comfortable. They did not rush me, or make me feel hurried at all. I’m not sure if dental assistants get their flowers, but I sure hope they get them because Alex really does deserve them! My husband and I have enjoyed the overall experience, and hope someone else might enjoy it too!

Fantastic experience: I called after 1pm for an emergency visit as a new patient when I cracked my tooth. They had me scheduled for 3pm and out the door by 4:45. Exceptional service and truly friendly staff from walking in the door to the Dr cracking jokes. 10/10 I absolutely recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Had an emergency situation and they were able to work me in. As most going to the dentist is not something you look forward to. I was met with understanding and respect from the moment I walked in the door. I was put at ease about my situation and never felt during the exam that it was all about the money to them. They truly value their patients as people. From the front desk personnel, dental assistant who explained the process and took all the necessary information and x-rays, to the Dr who examined me and recommended a plan, and finally the financial advisor who walked me through the billing and treatment priorities I was treated wonderfully. I walked out feeling great about my treatment plan. Highly recommend these amazing professionals. I would like to thank the whole staff for helping me get through so much in about a week. Their caring attitude made me feel important. I have no doubt they treat each and every patient with the same care and dignity as they did me. I apologize if I leave any names off my list. Fantastic experience: Everyone was so friendly during my visit! I didn’t have to wait long at any step in the appointment, which was nice. They constantly made sure I was comfortable, especially the hygienist Kassia, she checked in on me often insisting that I inform her if I experience any discomfort. They answered all of my questions and suggested a treatment plan for me that I felt was fair and prioritized urgent concerns while being mindful of my budget. I appreciate you all for a positive dental experience!

Negative experience: This place marks the single most physically traumatic experience of my life. There is no amount of money you could pay me to darken their doors again. They are kind, yes, but woefully incompetent. The amount of pain they inflicted on me I hope to never experience again. I would avoid them even if they were the only dentists on earth. Abominable. I do not know how they look at themselves in the morning. Note that they also bribe customers to give 5 star ratings; you cannot trust the reviews. EDIT: After being surprised by a response here, I'll share with you what I shared with this dental office back in April 2022. THEY KNEW about me. I have emailed the admin team as well. "I don't think I'll ever actually return to Mid Columbia Dental. My experience there was frankly the worst physical experience I've ever gone through in my entire life. I've never been in so much pain. The incompetence of the dentist (gluing the temporary crown on too tight) directly led to immense pain for the removal of each temporary crown. This doesn't even count the long lasting pain I was in for weeks, literally weeks, after each of the four times I was in, since neither of the temporary crowns nor the permanent ones were placed correctly. That was bad, but nothing compares to the agony of having them pull and pry at the temporary crown (both times!) for over a half hour each time. The second time was even worse, because I told them to not even try to pull it off, but they didn't listen and instead tried to pull it, causing me immense pain and accomplishing absolutely nothing else. They eventually had to break that second temporary crown apart, just like the first one. It was a tremendously painful process - I hope you forgive me the use of this word, but it was legitimately traumatic. I was so impressed by the nice chairs, TV, kind office staff (y'all really are wonderful), and the amazing Google reviews, but while all of that is nice, it isn't a sufficient substitute for the dentist being competent. Because of all those positives, I gave the doctor a second chance with the second crown, and it was a terrible mistake. I cannot run the risk of giving him a third chance."

I didn’t need numbing jell. No pain! My teeth feel great! The Dentist was very through checking my teeth. We are new patients from out of the area. He spotted the same things my other Dentist has been watching. It was time to get them fixed. They got me in the next day! No, pain.

Fantastic experience: I have had extremely bad experiences at any dentist in the past. I haven’t gone in a while due to my experience in the pass. I went in for a visit today. I was extremely nervous, I ended up having to get some work done which made my anxiety even higher about being at the dentist. I left today, extremely thankful and grateful to have people who made my experience way better. I highly recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic experience: This is the best dental office I’ve ever been to in 37 years and that includes in Utah, too. I drive 40 miles one way to go to this specific office in Kennewick. I suffer from a decade of agoraphobia and I still go that far from home. That means I get a ton of anxiety even thinking about leaving home. I feel like this place has helped me with that by giving me positive human interaction and a comfortable office to look forward to. I’ve been able to leave home with no panic since December 2023 when I started going there. It’s given me back a lot of confidence with how they’ve fixed my teeth—which helped agoraphobia immensely. I have left home everyday in the last 8 months (it’s July ‘24). I used to not remember the last time I left home. Now it’s opposite. Good people and hope for your smile (plus getting your smile back) is life changing. You can forget you’re human when you’re dealing with a mental illness. If you have anxiety or anything else you’re concerned about with your visit, tell them! They will help! Everyone is so warm and welcoming. There’s a cozy waiting room which really is more of a cute farmhouse lounge. There’s coffee, water, WiFi, blankets, Netflix, heated chairs, a cute big and very clean restroom. Everything is clean. The people are clean. Somehow every single person there looks like they’re a model or could be one if they felt like it. It’s amazing what happens when you’re treated like an individual and a human. I would go on a cruise or a Christmas party with these people if I could and it would be so fun. I don’t even know them outside of this office. I don’t even care for Christmas or Cruises that much. I don’t write many reviews but this was worth the effort. I have had a LOT of work done on my teeth there so far. I’ve had 10 crowns, a bridge, cleaning, fillings, other stuff I’m forgetting. I’m now, finally, about to be finished with the teeth I’ve had problems with my whole life. This has been 37 years in the making and I thought I’d never see the day where I have nice looking teeth and be pain-free AND white. Nichole is amazing and will work with your insurance better and more aggressively than any other office you’ll go to probably anywhere. I’ve spent thousands of hours at Dentist offices since I was a kid so I know what I’m talking about. Side note I haven’t told anyone: My husband and I were looking at separating when we started going here and having one car + the mini roadtrip and needing appointments scheduled around the same times forced us to do something together. It’s been the roughest 8 months of our lives and that’s really saying something. I think we might make it. Haha. So basically… 5 stars.. times Infiniti.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing experience. I have pretty bad anxiety with dentists, but I felt very accommodated and taken care of. The dentist and assistant who helped me out were very friendly, patient, and informative! I’ll definitely be returning every 6 months for preventative care.

Fantastic experience: This is the first dentist office that I’ve gone to that has been able to keep me pain-free throughout the entire process. From the cleaning to getting 2 crowns, I was made fully comfortable and at ease with the whole process. Mid-Columbia’s TLC should be the standard for all dental experiences. I would highly recommend them if you’ve had any type of anxiety or painful treatment from a previous dentist in the past.

Fantastic experience: I had a terrific experience with Mid-Columbia Dental. From start to finish, the time was professionally managed, the environment was friendly and calm, and the staff was attentive to my care. After a very thorough exam, they made recommendations for repairing some neglected areas and we agreed on a treatment plan. I’m very happy with the service. :-)

Fantastic experience: Everything is always explained in a way I can understand that makes sense, they are very deligent on getting as much covered by insurance as possible and thorough on estimated costs so there isn't any surprises, I've had some bad experiences with other dental offices and have extreme anxiety at dentist appointments now but the office staff from the front receptionist to the back employees make me feel at ease, and not pressured to make a decision right at that moment on a treatment plan or feel bad if I don't proceed with what is suggested, they help any way they can and offer more than one option. I highly recommend this office if your wanting excellent care provided from billing to your dental care.

Fantastic experience: We went in for an emergency appointment for my 4 year old who was in a lot of pain. They found out that she has an absess from hitting her tooth during a fall. Everyone We interacted with was very kind and patient with my daughter. I know that they probably don't have very many super young patients but they did a fantastic job keeping her calm. The dentist felt it would be best for my daughter to be seen by a pediatric dentist to pull the tooth. They found someone right away who was able to get her in the same day and her extraction for the tooth is set in the next few days. Thank you for being so kind to us. We really appreciate it.

Fantastic experience: From the first interaction of making the appointment, you’re met with sincere kindness and respect. That just continues from the moment you walk into the door until you check out. Dentist’s aren’t typically my favorite appointments to make and I haven’t ever had an amazing experience. But this experience has changed my perception. I was actually HEARD. From expressing my concerns to just simply making a comment on a part of the cleaning being sensitive, the hygienist quickly adjusted and continued to educate and talk me through all steps. When the Dentist came in, I actually felt like I got the time with him, and the knowledge I needed to improve my own oral health. Mid Columbia Dental is an excellent place and I will definitely recommend it to everyone who asks!

Fantastic experience: I have received care from this dental office for 3 years. The receptionist are friendly and check in is easy. They always find every avenue to have the least out of pocket cost. The dental techs and dentists explain everything and are mindful of patient comfort. Yesterday my dad who moved in with me, but was not an established patient developed a dental infection. Despite not being an established patient he was given a next day appointment. My dad who is 92 years old needed a more complex procedure, they secured a same day appointment with an endodontist. AMAZING.

Fantastic experience: They got me in day of within less than an hours notice and were nothing but kind, and considerate and worked with me for my needs. Offered lots of options. Helped me pick the plan best for my situation. Highly recommend this wonderful office! The customer service from the Doctors to the assistants to the office staff have been nothing short of amazing. You don’t often hear about looking forward to going to the Dentist’s, but I will from now on with this group. Can’t thank them enough!
