Fantastic experience: Went to Jefferson as a walk-in with a broken crown. From the first greeting until I walked out I was treated so professionally and kind. My fears were put to ease through every procedure, the gentleness of everything I went through was exactly what I needed and everything was explained along the way. I wish I had found this group earlier in life, these particular employees work so well together. It's an incredible example of great leadership from the Dentist. I will be making them my "go-to" when I need my teeth worked on and I will be highly recommending them to friends & family!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been trying to get my wire cut since Saturday but it course ortho is only in on Tuesday's and Thursday’s. Called Ortho for an emergency visit today and they told me to just walk in because it’s an emergency. Go in there just for them to tell me they can’t cut my wire that’s been cutting my mouth since Saturday because I have to make a payment first. I’m not going in for a regular ortho visit. This is an error that the general dentist made when going for a routine cleaning. Update: Management called the next day to schedule me an appointment. She was really emphatic and she talked to me a bit about her goals for the company and how she didn’t want to leave a bad impression based on my experience. I was offered a free laser treatment which took no longer than 5-7 minutes tops and due to the quick response and action they took, I recommended my mother n law for her tooth extraction. I still have another year to go for my braces so I’m glad that management took the time to resolve any issues I had now and going forward.

Fantastic experience: Dr.Ahmad, Brenda, Nichole & Daniela are amazing!! My daughter came in to get her braces put back on, and as usual she had more cavities that had accumulated. I was so Mad!!! but the staff was super nice such a cool lil crew. Everyone was so supportive even enough to get those cavities filled and immediately put her braces back on right after. I was Happy again!! Another satisfied customer ☺️

Fantastic experience: I love Jefferson dental everyone was so polite it was amazing. The staff they just welcome you as soon as you walk in the door. Dani was amazing. Isaac is so adorable and so easily to make you feel comfortable. Dr Armad is one of the best dentist I've ever been too. She may everything seem so comfortable she made sure I was not in pain, they just really took such good care of me. Nicole was nice as well from the first day I saw her when I came in she was just smiling the whole time. I must say, this will be my primary dentist

Fantastic experience: I showed up at the Abrams location with a severe toothache and no insurance. The ladies were very upset front with costs and I got to see the dentist quickly. She was great. She called me in an antibiotic and was very positive and up front about my options. She did not rush to extract my tooth and let me know I could possibly save my tooth. All costs were given to me in writing before I left. The consultation and X-rays were only $49. It was a great experience and I will be going back to get some dental work done once my insurance from my new job goes into effect. I highly recommend this location if you are uninsured and on a budget.

Negative experience: The worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. They kept calling me and randomly booking appointments without my permission. When I visited, the service was completely unprofessional. At my last visit, I was forced to take two X-rays because the staff accidentally deleted my tooth image. To make matters worse, I later found out they were using my personal information to schedule appointments without asking me. When I called to address this, the woman on the phone was rude and hung up before I could even finish my sentence after I politely asked them to stop calling and booking appointments without consent. This was by far the worst dental experience I’ve ever had. For the sake of both your physical and emotional well-being, please go anywhere else but here. I only wish Google would let me give them a negative rating.

Dr. Ahmad is very positive, cordial, and straight to the truth about what needs to be done before it gets worse. She also does a detail explanation of how and why things work. I appreciate those qualities in an office, and I hope that they continue the wonderful professionalism while keeping things relaxed!

Fantastic experience: I didn't know it was possible to have a painless dentist appointment until I found Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics. I've been TERRIFIED of the dentist since I was a child and have actively avoided going to the dentist as an adult because of this fear. I finally bit the bullet this year and scheduled an appointment with them and it was truly the best dentist experience of my life, and I can't recommend this place enough. I didn't feel a thing! That's crazy! I feel like I'm finally over my fear of the dentist and am so grateful for my dental hygienist and dentist for taking such good care of me and talking with me every step of the process.

Fantastic experience: I needed a tooth extracted, badly. I was dreading it, but I had no choice. Bri was such a help and pleasant to work with. Today was my procedure and I feel silly for even being on edge; I didn’t feel a thing… The dental assistant was attentive and kind and the Dr. did a fantastic job. That’s my dentist from now on. Couldn’t be happier!

Positive experience: Front desk team and Brenda the hygienist are the best they take care of what needs to be done sadly orthodontist side I can’t say the same I’ve had multiple bad experiences here at this location especially with the orthodontist side and I tried to give them a second chance and all was good after today I don’t think I could come back

Negative experience: The dentist disregarded my concerns. They refused to discuss removing my ortho brackets because they were done by another provider.Then the staff spoke in great detail about me stating my teeth were going to fall out because Jefferson Dental was not going to be responsible. At this point, I am reporting them to my insurance provider and searching for another dentist.

Fantastic experience: I was treated with respect at my appointment today on March 18,2025.The female dentist that did my extractions was very patient with me and she was also respectful. As for all the employees, they were professional at all times! I'm planning on telling my family members and strangers about that business.

Negative experience: I initially gave this office 5 stars because of the dentist. She was great! However, the billing experience afterwards was terrible. The office and the Regional Manager have given me the run around since my appointment in January where I paid over $1800 at that visit. I have yet to receive the documentation I've requested or a resolution. This experience has completely changed my review of the office. I will be contacting my insurance company to file a formal complaint.

Fantastic experience: I went in for a free exam for braces today, and the people at the front were really nice and worked with me to get scheduled at a time that works with me. Dr Shemer and her assistants were really good at explaining my treatment plan.

Fantastic experience: The Ortho team is great at this location! my adjustment was super quick and convenient.

Negative experience: My services to Jefferson dental on Abrams have been paid in full and now I can never set up an appointment. Either the ortho is never in or they always reschedule me for a further date. They never answer the phones. Very unprofessional and never will I ever recommend any one to this dental office. They take advantage of you paying in full then cannot provide the service. Completely disappointed and not a satisfied patient. Wish I would have never chosen this place from the start.

Negative experience: The WORST! Tooth repair lasted 2hours. Called immediately but their phone system is impossible! Took 5-6 calls to get through and left message. Never returned call! Left message a second time for Dr Ahmad. after another 5 calls… again no return call!!! The money spent doesn’t warrant any more time! Lesson learned! NEVER AGAIN!

Fantastic experience: I switched to this location due to me having issues with the Garland location. Doctor Daniel Cho was awesome and friendly! Brenda, Nauni and Brianna was soo polite and welcoming. Provided me with important information and education on the process etc. I should've switched to this location years ago! Fantastic experience: I been with Jefferson Dental for over 20 years. I started out at the Webb Chapel located, and then the Garland Rd location and now at the Abrams Rd location. All three locations I have been satisfied with , excellent experiences. If you are having problems with any dental issues please give them a call. They have locations throughout the metroplex.

Fantastic experience: By far the best experience I’ve ever had at .the dentist!!!!! They.put me at ease. Only $49 to see Dr. Cho who genuinely cares about his patients dental health. offering payment plans that are reasonable in case you need a procedure. He’s happy to accommodate on the spot if needed. Taking walk-ins is no problem I actually left there in a good mood. That never happens. Kinda wish I could give them another star.

Negative experience: I went in well over a year ago with 2-3 crooked bottom teeth. Both the dentist and ortho were aware of infections at those teeth/gums. The ortho recommended to put braces on to straighten and see if we could save them. A couple of months later , the general dentist recommended I go see a periodontist. I saw two periodontist, and they both agreed that the teeth needed to come out, and braces were useless. Even one of Jefferson general dentist made that point. I had the bottom teeth removed, and I was still kept on braces. I should've been sent to the periodontist on day one. The braces have done nothing other than move my front teeth around. We have been fixing bad movement for the past year with no end game in sight.. I basically paid $5,000 to watch my front top teeth randomly move because of the braces. I've been extremely patient, but this is out of hand. They also reply to negative reviews with a phone number that requires and extension, or you don't speak to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Recently switched from Ideal dental retail road to this Jefferson dental clinic in Abrams. I can't say more than Dr. Ahmad is more than just a dentist. Professionaly examined the status and a well-informed decision made. Previously, used to spent a lot of out of pocket with other clinic brand just because the other clinic's dentist (Ideal dental) looking at us a business opportunity not a patient with needs. The hygienist Lauren and other staff and assistants showed a very passionate feeling and treatment toward us. I've tried many clinic's before, I do believe that the dentist herself (for my cases) is what can make the difference, for sure some also related to staff and 10% for the clinic brand. Regardless, this clinic's dentist is very recommended and you will see the different 1st visit. Thank you so much.

Negative experience: I read the reviews and agree, this place is a scam. I came in for a cleaning and had to waste an hour doing x-rays, exams, etc. At the end, they wanted to have me pay $130 for a specific type of cleaning which is not what i was looking for. My insurance wouldve covered a regular cleaning 100% but they wouldnt offer me that service due to the “orthodontist’s recommendation”. Overall, a waste of time and an attempt to get some extra money from people

Negative experience: Went in for more invisalign trays. I was told i was due for my 3 month routine maintenance dental cleaning. I asked how much out of pocket i would have to pay they said $200.because my insurance cover everything except for laser cleaning and antibiotics injection. I asked i need to review what truly my insurance covers because it didnt sound right. So i went to front receptionist only to find out they cleaning can be done and doesnt nesecarily need to be with laser so ai asked her to remove laser. Also she said i had a $200 credit so actually i didnt have to pay out of pocket. So know Im having doubts and trust issues and aware of not getting ripped off by jefferson dental.

Negative experience: The people were excellent! The doctor was fabulous, the hygienist, superb; and the staff, great. The prices, however, beyond sucked! Just another proof of how out of control our health care system is. For a "deep cleaning" I would have had to pay over $700.00 out of my pocket. Imagine that! A cleaning that costs over a thousand dollars! Outrageous!

Negative experience: Run!!Run!!.Don’t walk!!This place is a scam.I have never experience service like I did today.My appointment was at 5:30 me and my son.I was expecting an exam and cleaning.They we’re taking all these X-rays and pictures it took the girl I can’t remember her name forever to do it.I had to ask her was this her first day.Then the hygienist walked in telling about this laser thru have and that I need this need that.The same thing she told me she told my son the same thing..This place is a scam they just trying to run your insurance up.I have PPO at that.We we’re there for an hour for them to say that we couldn’t get a cleaning today.Thats when I went off with the Dr.She was very rude an unapologetic.I ask who was here manager and she tells me she doesn’t have one.Long story short I walked out with no cleaning.I told her she better not send me a bill because you didn’t do nothing.They are a ripoff have you doing all thoses X-rays and taking pictures for the whole hour I was there.Then come to say we have to come back for a cleaning.Please do not go to this place.I felt something off when I walked in the front door and the lights in office was off.The girl in the front gone say yes we didn’t have any more customers so that’s why they turned them off.I should have followed my gut then.I need someone to get in touch with me higher up about the Dr that was there today.She is a crook!!

Negative experience: Do not go here! I went in to take care of my wisdom teeth and then they talked me into braces I didn’t really need or could afford. They brought in the money person of their office, who talked me into a credit card to pay for I all at once. I only said yes to braces because they claimed I would only need them for one year. Two years later I had to go somewhere else to take off the dreaded metal monsters because they refused. It was a hellish experience. They are thieves and liars.

Negative experience: I called them 7 times to set up a appointment to get my braces re done and they don’t pick up the phone and there schedule is weird like just horrible

Fantastic experience: Every location should have a Lauren Black in their office. Yesterday was the most positive experience I've ever had when it came to my cleaning. I've had dental issues and always felt intimidated going to my cleanings because I felt judged. Lauren really made me feel so comfortable and motivated to continue to be proactive in "our" journey to getting me right. And I say our because she truly made me feel like she was in this with me. Thank you Lauren.

Fantastic experience: The staff is so incredible! I love the fact that they take their time to listen to your needs. For instance, I have sensitive teeth, and I mentioned that to my hygienist. Immediately after she turned off the electrical power tool and used a manual curette/dental scaler. The process took a little longer but it was painless for me. This was the first time I had a painless experience at the dentist. Furthermore, the front staff is incredible! I love that they take Care Credit and are quick to text back when I need to reschedule an appointment.

Negative experience: Today left a bad taste in my mouth. I normally receive good service. However, today it was a hot mess. I received the wrong treatment plan. I’ve been in the office over 2 hours for 3 fillings. I don’t know what’s going on and it started a few days ago, when I drove all the way here, they had me reschedule due to ortho needing to take my brackets off to do my general dentistry. I had to come back at a later date. I’m not happy with them today.Horrible experience!!!!

Fantastic experience: I walked into the best Jefferson Dental Clinics ever.They are located at 5848 Abrams Ave,Dallas,Tx 75214.I have been trying to deal with a billing issue and was treated rudely by the Jefferson billing department.I was kindly greeted by a very friendly Temeka.She passed me to the manager Alex.What an amazing and professional manager she is.She solved my problem in like ten minutes.Please do yourselves a favor and pick this Jefferson Dental for ALL your dental needs.They know how to treat patients and their customer service is downright awesome!!!!

Negative experience: Appt was at 10. Been here since 940 and still haven't been seen. It's 10:19. Posting this right now since they decided to have a huddle right after they took is to our room right in the open. I heard their goal is to get as many 5 stars as possible today. With this wait time, it's already not looking good.

Negative experience: I had the worst experience here. This happened a week or so ago and I am just now finding the time to write. A mother of 3, its hard to make appointments and move around. Planned the day off so that I can make all my necessary appointments as needed. I had an appointment at 2pm. There on time, I waited in the office for a call. There was no friendly greet that I recall, just told to have a seat. Once I was called up to the desk, the biller (pregnant) walked up with a blunt attitude and told me my insurance was medical and not dental. I made sure I checked my insurance before my appointment so that I wouldnt have any trouble. I knew she was wrong but I could not prove it in the atmosphere with caddy women all looking at me. I can tell off bat that this was a caddy and messy office off the bat. I tried to explain and no was the answer as she was adamite that my insurance was only medical. Embarrassed, I told them to hold my appointment as I went to the car to call my insurance. They verified that I did have dental. I went back in the office with the rep on speaker for approval, the biller took down my information with a snobby attitude. Unapologetic at all. They had me wait an additional 10 or so mins. I get called back up with the office manager or leader explaining that my insurance was only covering the exam and everything else was out of pocket. The way she said it was not pleasant, almost nice nasty. Its almost as if I was not wanted there, its hard not to pull the race card. First of all, I did have dental cleaning that was covered. Plus, I already knew that whatever wasnt covered, I had to pay. Why so much aggression though? I ended up not keeping the appointment because my kids had an appointment and had to go. NO ONE apologize. The pregnant biller stayed at her desk and never turned back around. With the atmosphere, Im sure I was talked about. I called the office manager or leader back up and explained to her how unacceptable this all was. She agreed with a professional nice nasty. NAH, ILL NEVER COME BACK. I ended up going to the one in Garland on the same day and got way better treatment. Garland is WAAYYYY BETTER

Negative experience: The worst experience I ever had! I am never coming to this place again. If deep cleaning cost almost $500 with insurance what can you expect of everything else… when I said no thank you, the guy there showing me the cost breakdown says: you know your way to the door.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been with Jefferson dental for about 2yrs now. Dr. Cho, Dr. Tran, Mr. Odhie, Clayton and Nicole are great! They’re all knowledgeable of their specialty and kind. If you’re looking for great dentist, orthodontist and associates, I recommend them! They go above and beyond their duties! They’re located on Abrams and Northwest Hwy by ALDIs.

Fantastic experience: I hadn't been to the dentist in a long time, but everyone here, especially Dr. Cho and Obie, took very good care of me. There's still a lot to be done, but at least I know that I'm in good hands :)

Fantastic experience: I had such a great experience at this location. I went in for a cleaning and the staff had great customer service and great communication skills from the moment I walked in until I walked out. Any questions or concerns I had were very thoroughly explained to me and they were happy doing so. Devin was my hygienist and I can honestly say it was one of the best cleanings I have had. I go in for a routine cleaning every 6 months and I'm already looking forward to my next one! Thank you Team Abrams!

Negative experience: So had an appointment for 3pm they have been texting and call me to see if I can make it at 2 pm I show up on time but the front desk tells me oh sorry you gonna have to wait 30 min or more so we can verify your insurance, for god sake why nobody call me like they did with the appointment and let me so I won’t make the drive. They don’t care about the patient health is all about money and how much they can make and how many appointments they can schedule. There a thousand of dentist out there I chose you because you’re the closest to my house Now I can’t trust you with my health

Negative experience: ABSOLUTELY HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED ANYTHING LIKE THIS IN MY LIFE !!!! I went to this office 6 months ago for a free consultation for Invisalign, I was told I would only need them at the bottom and I would need to pay a $500 deposit. I end up calling them yesterday for an appointment to go ahead and do the Invisalign. They took my insurance over the phone and told me my insurance would cover all of my procedures and all I would need to have is $27 dollar copay… cool!! Well I get to my appointment today , I fill out my paperwork stating that I am 14 weeks pregnant. They take the X-rays and tell me . That I have 9 cavities (impossible) and I need a laser cleaning oh and now not only do I need braces at the bottom but now I also need them at the top, and telling me now I have to pay them $200 for a laser cleaning, another $700 deposit for the braces and 200 for a few of the fillings and another $200 for them to fill 2 more fillings tomorrow.and they also wanted me to make $100 dollar payments to them every month until I paid for my braces (that my insurance was already paying for) well here’s where it gets all the way bad . They come in and numb my mouth up injecting all this medication in me… I’m sitting there for over an hour the whole right side of my face and eye is swelling up. One of the ladies preceded to tell me about her pregnancy, so I started to speak about mine… her face goes red she leaves the room and I hear her yelling about they were never supposed to inject me with anything and that I was was supposed to be cleared by my ob doctor smh !!! The other woman’s excuse was “ I never told them I was pregnant. And proceeded to blame me for their negligence and talk bad about me around my children when they thought no one was listening… I have no clue if their negligence is going to cause problems for my unborn child….. so now I’m just sitting there numb and swollen listening to them tell me that they can’t do any of this work they say I needed , due to me being pregnant… I’m not quite sure why they have us do paperwork, when clearly they don’t read it, or even care about anything other than taking your money . I definitely will be speaking with my insurance company tomorrow. And also to a lawyer… and btw the young , childish unprofessional women they have at the front desk need to be fired ASAP. The disrespectful, Disgraceful things they say around children is despicable .

Fantastic experience: this place is always professional! I have Invisalign and have been coming here for years. Devin the hygienist was amazing! My teeth have never felt so clean, and it was painless!

Negative experience: Experience was not so great at all. My first time tying them, appointment was for 11:00am today. They took 43 minutes to finally call me back. I get to the back and they change the assistant during the middle of my X-rays. First assistant was really sweet the other one just came to do her job. Finally finished X-rays at 12:12. At 12:50 my teeth still had not been cleaned. I am allowing them to finish the work they’ve started but as soon as it’s completed I’ll be finding another dentist and you should to if you are thinking about them.

Negative experience: They said I need 5 crowns but wanted me to pay for Invisalign ahead of that. Then when I said I wanted to not do the braces before starting treatment I had already paid. $100 deposit they said they would refund but did not instead went in my account and took $250 Dollars then again did they are issuing refunds but I have yet to get it. Keep being told I will get a call back no one calls. I really need to speak to the regional manager for Abrams location because this is ridiculous.

Fantastic experience: Going to the dentist has always been kinda scary for me and I was definitely not looking forward to getting my cavity fixed. Luckily Megan was there to guide me through the process and give me comfort along the way :)

Negative experience: I didn’t like my experience at this place. Long waiting and I’m saying long because I was at this place for almost 3 hours and my tooth problem was not resolved. A teeth cleaning is $216 and 2 fillings are $567 so I’d recommend going somewhere else.

Positive experience: I have been using Jefferson’s dental clinic since 2013 and take my 10 and 6 year old boys as well . Just want to give kudos to the staff for allowing me to be next to my boys while they got the cleaning and treatment they needed . Also for allowing me to step out to check on them while I was getting my cleaning too . As a mother first priority is my children’s safety and being pain free for any procedures that they are receiving at the dentist. Thank you so much Dr. Cho did amazing work with them and making them comfortable. Brenda, Megan ,Maria and also the tech the took care of me he wrote name on the paper but I misplaced it he was so awesome made me feel comfortable and joking around which helped my anxiety come down . I didn’t have great dentist when I was a kid so fear the dentist at times.I wish the website will include the names of all staff members . They are part of the business and need recognition as well . Thank you so much again!!

Negative experience: Just unhappy overall with this establishment, there's always scheduling conflicts when it comes to orthodontist visits, no one ever has an complete explanation of why. But they make sure they get those monthly auto payments, at this point I feel they're just getting as much money as possible before removing my son's braces, been 16 months, all I hear is any day now, in the meantime I'm still getting charged $185 a month . They really should look into there processes and prices. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Negative experience: Absolutely terrible experience. Wife and daughter specifically called and asked for annual cleaning service. They scheduled her for that. She was then asked that several services need to be performed, but they did not do what she went in there for. Then we get a bill for services which were not performed. We told them that none of these were performed specifically the cleaning for which the appointment was scheduled for. This happened a couple of times and now there is a bill that says that they are going to send this to collections. I think the doctors may be fine, if you ever get to see them past the nurses and the admin staff. I would stay away. .. Update. Followed up at the phone number twice and each time was asked to call later. Reinforces the terrible customer care. Please stay away.
