Negative experience: I have never felt so slighted by a medical group. Pre paid for my daughter’s tooth removal, had to reschedule because of a death in the family. Call back a few months later to schedule the appointment or receive a refund only to be told they are charging me because the doctor they bring in on the weekend is out of network. Where is the communication? You sat there and communicated prior to taking money but not once did you call and say that you are using the money for the procedure for something else. Stating it was just dispersed to the account and then used. While I understand that, NOT ONCE WAS I CALLED/EMAILED OR SENT ANY COMMUNICATION STATING THAT; if I didn’t call you all to make the appointment I wouldn’t have known. That’s not on the insurance company, that is on you all. Extremely shady business practices. AND THIS ISN’T MY FIRST TIME BEING HERE. You all were pressing people for reviews last year so I wrote one. I pray yall don’t get over on anyone else.

Negative experience: Only gave them one star because I had to. This dentist is very unprofessional. The office is dirty. The dentist tried to brush my mother’s concerns off. He adjusted her partial to a point it doesn’t fit and now she’ll need a new one. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Fantastic experience: I had a tooth extracted this afternoon at Family Dental Care in Calumet City. I was so very nervous the receptionist was very welcoming and kind. My appointment was with Dr Haddad a periodontist and implant surgeon. In meeting him he was very informative and showed great concern on how to best address my extraction and all that it would entail. The process went so very quickly and before I knew it the tooth was extracted and I had received one stitch to ensure a safe healing process. Would I recommend him, indeed I would. Fantastic experience: Going to the dentist always make me nervous especially when I had to return for a filling. Dr Patricia Bezanis made this the best experience ever. I only felt slight discomfort when she used the needle to numb my gums. Other than that I felt no pain thru out the entire procedure. Dr Bezanis was so gentle. I had no pain the entire time.
