Negative experience: Finally found a dentist we love, but got there and found out they aren’t in network with our insurance anymore and didn’t bother to let us know.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Patel was very thorough in explaining everything I needed. I walked in as an emergency and everyone was very nice and welcoming.

Negative experience: I came 15 minutes prior as requested, I filled out all the forms on the computer and I didn't get back for another 30 minutes. Then there was about 20 minutes going over everything. I was then told that today's appointment would be for exam and X-rays, and because of of upcoming surgery a cleaning could not be done. Today's visit would be $285. When I called a couple of weeks ago I was told the initial exam and x-ray would be $150. I didn't catch the lady's name that I talked to. Since I had already been there close to an hour and nothing had been done I left. I had another appointment at 2:30. I was also surprised that there was no easily accessible drop off and pick up place as I'm currently using a walker.

Fantastic experience: Personnel were pleasant. NOS did not do a thing for me, could not feel any air movement from the mask. Extractions were fairly quickly done. Overall good service that was overdue.

Fantastic experience: Ally is a great dental hygienist. She is very gentle, professional and caring. She took her time to make sure she did it right.

Negative experience: Everything done here was just a hassle crown needs redone but don't trust them to do it a second time. Billing all messed up I paid in full even ended up getting a refund but they. Messed up the insurance and now want me to pay that 2 years later what kind of people are doing the books here! Stay away!!!!

Fantastic experience: Allie was amazing! Took my three year old for her first time and she was so great with her. Explained all the tools and what they do. Showing my daughter that it doesn’t hurt. She took her time and truly made her first experience the absolute best. Thank you!!

Fantastic experience: I had a dental emergency in pain for days. I do the walk in one day it right back there didn’t have to wait long. And then there is the staff they are the reason like going there. Always so nice and caring.

Positive experience: I found out After filling out my info for the year, even though I told the receptionist nothing had changed, waiting in the waiting area a few minutes after my appt time, that Aegis is no longer in network with my insurance and that I could expect to pay at least 30-50% of the cost of my dental cleaning. Preventative care is 100% covered on my insurance. My insurance did not notify me of changes to who is in network. I should have been told that at the front desk. I chose to not have the cleaning done and was assured I would not be charged for the visit, but I could see many feeling like they did not have a choice to leave. It was not offered as a choice. I knew enough to ask. I felt lI could have easily been tricked into staying and paying. Not a good thing to do to your customers. I am glad though that I was told before anything was actually done.

I started my day at 7 am, seeking relief from dental pain, only to face overwhelming costs at the first two dentists I visited—$1600 at Aspen Dental and $700 at Heart City Health. However, hope came when I visited Vista Dental and was referred to Aegis in Goshen, IN, where I was referred to a compassionate dentist who could remove my tooth that very day without charging an arm and a leg. The young lady who conducted my exams took the time to explain the process and costs, truly being a Godsend in my moment of need. As a single mother of four, the weight of my situation felt heavy, and I couldn’t help but cry at the thought of affording this procedure without insurance. Their understanding nature and commitment to ensuring I left without pain and tooth removed left a lasting impact on me. I am deeply thankful for their promise of payment plans and their ability to accommodate my situation while prioritizing my needs. Thank you for being a beacon of hope! I will absolutely be recommending your services!

Fantastic experience: This is a caring wonderful place My old dentist retired and I needed to find a new one. And I did !! Both the doc and the asst were very helpful. No pain, great gain they know how to have a well run dentist office

Negative experience: Can't even give a star the aegis in goshen Indiana sued me for over 1000 dollars because I stopped them from continuing to take money out of my bank account because they were over charging me for amount owed unfortunately I let my emotions get the best of me and didn't keep documents and receipts so they got there money now my acrylic on my dentures broke and I never wanted to go back to this place again with how they took advantage and treated me as a customer I am believer in Jesus and I believe we treat others how we wanted to be treated I forgave them but just wanted to see if they changed so I went to go get my dentures fix and right off the back they said that will cost you 250.00 dollars out of pocket or insurance will have to pay for it and than they couldn't fix them on the same day either which I didn't believe they were just trying to take advantage again I left and I doubt I will ever be back to this dentist I pray and hope they find God

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Dr Mai Regan as my experience with her was very positive. I can attest for her skill with the two crowns I received as they look and feel great. Also she is proactive in making sure you feel comfortable and experience no pain. I will continue to use her as my dentist going forward.

Negative experience: Wouldn’t even give a star . Rude, Dr Moore is very arrogant. Don’t care about their patients but just how much money they can make. If have a problem to go in to fix they will charge you $125 My husband purchased dentures there & from day one nothing but problems. Broke five times. Told them something is wrong with them breaking that want new ones & there reply is have to pay full price again. I wouldn’t take my pet to them.

Negative experience: It’s the worst Dental clinic, people in reception are rude and if you don’t pay an advance you cannot be admitted please make sure they send all the information to your insurance in case you have any because they don’t know how to do their job I been having a lot a problems and colección because they don’t give my insurance company all the information on time be careful what you sign at the office and make sure you have a copy this clinic just want your money the service is not good plus and very important make sure everything is clean never in my life go back over there

Fantastic experience: Let me start by saying, I loathe going to the dentist! I have PTSD from a bad experience in childhood, so I’m terrified of going. Imagine the horror my mind raced through when part of a molar broke off while eating a protein breakfast bar! The staff at Aegis Dental in Goshen has changed that! The front desk associate was kind and friendly. Lisa, the dental assistant that works with walk ins (I’m assuming), had an incredible bedside manner. She made me feel comfortable, chatted about non-dental stuff, explained so much through the process, and was even empathetic when I told her of my fear of dentists and why. I don’t know if she communicated this to Dr. Patel or if he is always great with patients, but he was equally as incredible! He made small talk, explained what happened, went through the x-rays with me, described the procedures available, and apologized for not being able to perform those on the same day. Even though his schedule was extremely packed, he still took the time to go through all of that and file the sharp part of my tooth off. I even left there with a SMILE on my face! Oh, and pricing is very reasonable! While I was being seen, they contacted my insurance and had everything ready to go when it came to reviewing costs for the different procedures.

Fantastic experience: I got to my cleaning appointment early, so I was able to go in a little early, which was nice. Both the dental hygienist AND the dentist were friendly and efficient. In addition, I was pleasantly surprised that I could schedule a follow-up appointment in a couple weeks time and not months down the road. Finally, they were able to schedule my next cleaning for after 3, when I get out of work. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: Honestly as a walk in the wait was a little long, but I do understand. I feel like it felt longer because I was in pain. As soon as I got back in my room they started right away, and everyone was very nice and respectful. Over all experiences was good.

Positive experience: The work was good but the treatment time between the different parts of the work was way too long. My appointment time was 45 minutes late. Then I sat for a while until the novacaine was done followed by a very long time until the work started for the inplant process. Then I waited long enough that the novacaine had partly worn off requirering two more novacaine shots. I feel that the process took twice as long as it should have.

Positive experience: It always seems to take twice the amount of time it should. I feel like they have too many patients at one time and not enough dentists. I was there for 5 hours for 1 root canal.

Fantastic experience: They are really booked out so make sure you do schedule in with that in mind. Regardless they have the emergency slots available that have been a life saver. My father had a terribly infection. They were quick to get it figured out once they found the cause of the pain.

Fantastic experience: I had a couple chipped teeth I needed fixed and didn’t have much time to get them taken care of due to work constraints and the fact my normal dentist was not available. I called AEGIS and they were able to get me in right away. After meeting with the dentist it was determined I needed a crown on one tooth and filling on the other. To my surprise AEGIS was able to do same day crowns and had me all fixed up in the same appointment. They even stayed after normal business hours to make sure all was done correctly. Very happy with my experience.

Fantastic experience: First time there so I was at Aegis for a while with x-rays. I had a tooth extracted. I was pleasantly surprised the care Aegis took to make sure I was not in any pain. The Dr at Aegis did something to the tooth that was being extracted. I felt a very small amount of pressure, then she switched tools, twisted the tooth, then said she was done. Aegis prescribed pain meds and antibiotics. Very surprised that I haven’t had to take any pain meds!!!! This experience was nothing I have had before! Very pleased.

Fantastic experience: This experience was overall great. I arrived around 9:30 for an emergency walk-in. They were able to get me in immediately with no wait time. I recommend arriving early in the morning if you are a walk-in so that you don’t have to wait too long. The dental hygienist who helped me provided me with great detailed options for my tooth that was in pain. The dentist was very helpful, knowledgeable, and great too.

Negative experience: 2 bad experiences GOSHEN OFFICE: 1) Wisdom tooth extraction - notified dentist that I could still feel pain when tooth was being pulled. They sent me home with a halfway tooth pulled and told me to arrange an appointment with another provider, OMSA. Didn’t offer any pain meds. OMSA did an X-ray before they extract the tooth; turned out that the tooth was very grounded and close to my nerves; had they pulled it out, more than likely I would not be able to speak or have mobility in my mouth. It went from costing me $120 to over $3K with OMSA. 2) Tooth filling - had tooth filling on the same tooth multiple times. When it was being filled, I could sense that there was something wrong, there was an instrument inside my tooth while it was being filled. Within a week, I had bite marks on my tongue and called the office that there was a hole in my filling. I get back in, within a month, I let the dentist know that there was a hole - very small hole - in my newly filled tooth. She asked me how I found out, I let them know that I used a special flashlight as I had sensitivity to chewing and liquids. Initially they thought that the filling was not filed down correctly, as they are removing excess filling, the dentist said “Oh, I see the hole. Yes, this needs to be redone, and I will personally do this!” They didn’t charge me for the second filling, however, I hope they took internal measures to address this internally.

Negative experience: Just felt like they were more concerned about what I needed to pay and didn’t hear me out on my concern with a partial that I spent thousands on, on top of the thousands of other dental work I’ve had to have done. I have insurance. I’ve always paid my portion, but feel like I’m treated as if I don’t pay my bills. Just bummed. Partial is still not fitting.

Fantastic experience: Most recent experience I had a tooth extraction & another tooth got chipped during the removal process. They acknowledged it & had it fixed a week later, FREE of charge! Friendly staff!

Negative experience: Horrible service! I regret coming here DONT recommend!! I went because I have a broken tooth and the dentist said he would put a crown on but they didn’t do anything just xray and examination I was there for 2 HRS just to not get anything fixed $260 down the drain and the front desk lady didn’t give me any appointment for next week that the next available appointment was in 3-4 weeks!! My tooth is broken it’s an emergency I was told by the dentist they would have appointments next week but they lied!! Please don’t come here especially if it’s as a walk in or emergency because they’ll just take your money and not do anything!!! DONT RECOMMEND!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Megan is the best dental assistant and always keeps me comfortable with my anxiety. I 100% trust her and she always does a great job with my bad teeth. The desist there are the best and not judgemental and after years of dental neglect due to dentist who are jerks I am able to go to aegis and know they won't judge me or treat me bad due to my bad teeth. Negative experience: After one too many horrible experiences at aegis I'm moving on. You never see the same dentist or hygienist. The hygienist could not be referred to as anything but rude,obnoxious and unprofessional. I would not on my best experiences at aegis give them 1 star,Dr.moore hires the cheapest non experienced help he can and that is exactly the quality you get. I walked out last visit with no work at all performed and they still billed me for all the work they did not do. Dr.moore is never to be recommended by myself ever.

Fantastic experience: Wait time was minimal. Dr. Moore and his assistant did great work on my implants.

Negative experience: I was not informed that I had maxed out my insurance before proceeding with what would have otherwise been a much cheaper procedure. I spent over $800 on fillings, when I knew that with insurance covering most of the cost, would have otherwise been under or around $300.

Negative experience: When you get dentures from this place they don't tell you your permanent top Is not included with the overall price. $8000 I paid, For my top realignment to not be included.

Fantastic experience: I just moved to Elkhart, and a tooth broke. I found the info on FB, and walked in and they gote squeezed in. Everyone was amazing and I left feeling confident in my decision to go to Aegis Dental!

Positive experience: Went in for consultation because I lost a filling and needed to see what it would cost. They took X-rays and checked my teeth to see if any cavities. Gave me an estimate of what procedures would cost and what needed to be done. Had good experience with the people that work there.

Negative experience: I have been coming to Aegis for years and have always had great service, until my last visit. My visit started great! The receptionist was nice and the check in process was smooth. My cleaning went great, the tech was awesome, and the dentist who saw me answered all of my questions. My issues began at the check out desk. The lady who ended up helping me had walked by and verbally expressed to the tech that she wouldn’t have time to help me anytime soon as she just got back from the bank. The tech gave me my check out paper and said someone would be with me soon. I did not mind waiting as I saw she was busy. When she came back to help me she was rude and seemed to get more irritated as I asked questions about my insurance coverage for my upcoming appointment. I was able to schedule my appointment and left. I came back a few minutes later because I realized I wasn’t told how much I had to pay before my next appointment. I spoke to the other check out lady that time. She seemed irritated I was back and was equally as rude throughout our conversation. After leaving and reviewing my paperwork I realized I’m not even scheduled for the main issue I’m having. The whole check out ordeal was disappointing. I am accustomed to better service at Aegis and hope this issue is addressed.

Negative experience: The female dentist came in for my consultation, treated me one of the worst ways I’ve ever been treated. I was confused as to what she was telling me and already had extremely high anxiety going to the dentist. She left the exam room and never did a care plan or shared with me any other alternatives to the dental work I need completed. Do not have her as your dentist if you have dental anxiety, she will make you feel horrible about yourself and make your anxiety go almost into a panic attack. The DH that took my X-rays deserves a metal working for that very unprofessional dentist.

Negative experience: I didn't like the way the Dr came in room and automatically knew what my problem was but then came back later to talk to me about it! I feel they don't know my problem without a xray

Fantastic experience: I went in with an emergency. They were able to see me within fifteen minutes, despite the fact that wasn't a patient. My dentist would not have been able to see me for another two weeks. If Aegis were on my insurance plan, I would switch to Aegis.

Negative experience: It was of the worst experiences we ever had! I will NEVER go here again! How one female dentist treated my 8 yr old son, she shouldn’t even have a license to work with people! After sharing how our experience went on a social media platform, a lot of people were not happy with their experience there and many after hearing our story said they would never go there.

Fantastic experience: I previously had a tooth chip and they got me in right away. While I was there I just ended up having my yearly exam. They fixed my chipped tooth and re did another filling on another tooth. The Hygienist was absolutely Amazing and I believe her name was Olivia. You were very gentle and very detailed with your work ethics. Highly recommended

Negative experience: I have been with this dentist office for a little over 7 yrs. I have had to cancel my last 3 appointments. The first canceled appointment from because I’d just left the hospital and was sick the cancellation was done through the cancellation options they give you with text responses. The second was because I would need the total amount due at the time of my appointment for a crown which is over $500.00. They told me I could NOT come for the appointment unless I had ALL the money for my appointment. I only had half so I had no choice but to reschedule, again I had no choice they make it very clear no money no service ( which is fine). Last cancellation was due to being sick once again out of my control. So Aegis decides they will charge me a $150.00 fee because they say I have a history of canceling. What a load of crap! They have no understanding that life happens and some things are out of your control ! I’ve been going here for over 7 years! But this is it for me! Businesses only see you as a number and a $ sign! It’s sad, no understanding. Just all about the money. Very unpleased with them! I also asked to speak with a manager about the situation and of course they told me they don’t have time.
