Fantastic experience: As someone who was not comfortable going to the dentist, I am so thankful I found this place. The dental hygienist was patient, reassuring, and most of all listened to my concerns. She took the time to explain everything to me and that really put me at ease. Dr Pirino was equally incredible. From the first time I saw him, he has listened, hasn’t dismissed my concerns, and genuinely made me feel comfortable and heard. Thank you both for making my experience to the dentist a better one!

Fantastic experience: 6/22/23 I couldn’t take the pain that started yesterday in a tooth. I showed up at DeBary Dentistry unannounced at 7:45am. They took me back RIGHT AWAY! Doc Wells worked some magic and wrote a script for an antibiotic. Hoping that does the trick. But everyone I came in contact with in their office was GREAT! (Drat, didn’t hit “Post”, so posting this now Well, the above never posted. Anyway, today 10/24/23 went in for a cleaning. Waited a whole 4 minutes and was called back. Cate was fantastic and educational. In & out in no time. I highly recommend DeBary Dentistry! 12/12/23 Had to have an old filling (put in by Moses) replaced. Doc Wells made it absolutely painless! He and his team are fantastic! 03/04/25 previous dates didn’t post for some reason.Today just a cleaning, but from the moment I walked in until I left, everything was as smooth as silk. My tech knows her stuff and explains everything she’s doing and why. Doc Wells came in and checked everything out, shows great interest and pleasant to do business with. 08/18/25 Had a crown replaced, more of the same attention to detail, kindness and professionalism from start to finish.

Fantastic experience: Dr Pirino and Sara are the best Dental Team anywhere. I came to Debary Dentistry after the veneer work I had done from another dentist destroyed my front teeth. They went to work immediatesly and not only restored my teeth but restored my confidence. I just read What Dr Pirino wrote as his goals on the DeBary Dentistry and I can testify that he's meeting his goals of being an outstanding dentist and being on my side to repair my teeth and my self worth. THANK YOU isn't enough. I HIGHLY Recommend Both Dr Pirino and His Partner Sara. The Reception staff and the hygenists have also Always been courteous, kind and attentive. Fantastic experience: Dr. Pirino and Kelsey did an amazing job of installing a permanent crown for me. I am 76 and they were extremely kind and patient with my limitations. I have many crowns, all done by excellent dentists, yet this was the best crown i have had installed. I would recommend them to any one requiring dental care.

Fantastic experience: First time impressions was excellent would definitely go again when acquire insurance or the money to pay for my much needed treatment. Thanks May 14th 2024 Back for dental work 16th July 2024 good work done on rebuild of tooth. Dentist was reassuring as he worked. Assistant made sure I was comfortable at all times even play my music Beres Hammond to keep me relaxed for 2hrs. Feeling pain in the evening and some sensitivity in my tooth area, took pain relief tab. Going back in 2weeks for permanent crown . 01st August 2024 back for permanent crown definitely sensitivity in this tooth so needed injection and sensitivity medication placed on tooth before new crown was placed. Thank you Vanessa, Medical Assistant, for playing my Beres Hammond jams to keep me calm Back again on 12th August 2025 to check out the need for a crown and price. Don't have a picture of a smile cos working on back teeth so nothing to see. I will be back in November to get crown done. ALL Staff on front desk very helpful, thanks Stacy, much appreciated your help.

Fantastic experience: Doctor Calhoun discussed my options with getting implants. Was able to get the cat scan today and will wait for call back to confirm if I’m a candidate for implants. Fantastic experience: The equipment and personnel were very professional, helpful and first rate. The office and exam rooms were very clean and well maintained. My only complaint is that I waited 20 minutes past my appointment time for anything to start, then after x-rays were taken I wait another 20 minutes for a hygienist to start. Overall, their new patient special rate for everything included was a great bargain and I look forward to working with them in the future. Follow up - July 10, 2025 DeBary Dentistry did not disappoint. Both of our appointments were on time and we were both very pleased with the office and staff, our hygienist and Dr. Pirino. We are glad we found this practice and are recommending it to our neighbors.

Fantastic experience: I wanted to replace my old crowns and looked on line for good reviews. I saw great reviews about Dr. Calhoun's work, then asked for pictures of his work. It was easy to say yes to him. Dr. Calhoun is in the process of replacing 7 crowns and he has been fantastic. He is very kind, gentle, and always checked to be sure I was feeling ok. The finished product will be done in about three weeks and I'm looking forward to it. I can't say enough about Dr. Calhoun, his assistant Vanessa, and the whole practice! I am confident any new patient will be as happy.

Addie took the time to carefully explain every step of the cleaning process, which was so helpful and reassuring. Fantastic experience: I have been going to debary dentistry for a while now and that place is amazing everyone there is so nice to friendly from the ladies upfront to the dental assistants, dental hygentist, and of course my dentist Dr.Wells. Fantastic experience: UPDATE May 19, 2025: Still extremely happy with the entire team! They were so awesome squeezing my 89 year old mother for an emergency visit. They were so kind and patient with her and helpful with her and her wheelchair and oxygen. Added a picture with Vanessa and Dr Calhoun (well, a pic of his face, ). It’s a long drive for us, but so worth it! Previous review from 2024: Very nice office and great staff! Love Dr Calhoun! I drive from SE Orlando to DeBary to see him and his staff. I am going through the process of dentures and I have to go in for realignments. Dr Calhoun’s dental assistant, Vanessa, patiently listened to what I was having issues with and then did an amazing job in realigning my dentures. It is such a pleasure going to this office. Everyone is very pleasant and responsive. Such a great team!

Negative experience: I went to them for a couple of years. It's a busy practice and volume seems more important than quality. The hygienist is AMAZING, the dentist has mediocre skill and zero bedside manner. The staff is TERRIBLE. The dental assistants are not sanitary or skilled. In this day and age we all know to wash our hands or use sanitizer and not let our hair fall into a patient's mouth. The front office is disorganized even though they contact you multiple times prior to the visit.

Fantastic experience: In January 2025, pulled a big filling out of a tooth that I thought could not be saved. My previous dentist had sold their practice and the reviews on the new owners were unsatisfactory. I called DeBary Dentistry (based on reviews) and was able to get in that day, but since it was not hurting, I took a later appointment a few days later. I saw Dr. Calhoun, he was gentle, understanding , very knowledgeable and thought he could save tooth. The tooth was saved. I went back a few weeks later for a full mouth consultation including xrays, teeth and gum checks. A decay was found under a previous crown also a deep gum cleaning was recommended due to deep pockets. My dental tech Estrella was wonderful. Their staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and helps to keep you at ease. They go over every charge and any out of pocket expense you might incur. I’m so pleased I have found them and would recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Finding a dentist is rough. Finding a GOOD dentist is even harder. Took me a few years but I finally found one! Thanks to Dr Wells and the team. From cleanings to replacing old fillings, its been a pleasant experience. TY for being 'gentle' when it came time to replace the old ones. While thats never fun, it wasn't bad. Above is from years ago… 2025 and I feel the same way. Love my hygienist Estrella and my dentist Dr wells!!

Fantastic experience: I want to thank Dr. Calhoun and his assistant, Sara. I went into the office very apprehensive, but both made me feel very comfortable during the entire visit. Dr. Calhoun did an excellent job of restoring my fractured tooth. I He was very meticulous and, I might add, pain free. I would recommend DeBary Dentistry for all your dental care ! You won't be disappointed. I went in again today and saw Dr. Calhoun and Vanesa they are kind and caring as usual!
