Negative experience: I want to say that everyone from the front desk staff, dental assistants,and doctors are GREAT. The problem that I have is the EXTREMELY long waits to get seen by the provider. I waited over 90 minted before I was seen. I understand that maybe unexpected things come up ,but the inconsiderate part is that the longer I waited ,no one thought enough to tell me that the doctor was running late or anything. Just because the place is supposed to be more affordable, doesn't mean that my time isn't valuable. Why can't a dental practice be affordable and efficient with the patient's time? I am almost certain if I were 90 minutes late for my appointment, I would not have been seen that day by the doctor.Time is something that I can't get back and is a valuable commodity. I wish that this practice would come to respect that.

Negative experience: I am writing as a patient of Affordable Dentures & Implants, Port Saint Lucie. I would like to begin by commending Dr. Alfons Bucaj and his dental assistant, Ann, for their excellent care, professionalism, and attention to detail. They have both made my treatment experience positive on the clinical side. Unfortunately, my overall experience with your office has been overshadowed by ongoing issues with customer service and communication. Despite the significant financial investment I am making—well over $20,000 for my implants—I have encountered repeated frustrations that I believe require immediate attention: 1. Communication & Scheduling: I have had to call repeatedly to check if my implants arrived and to secure appointments, instead of being contacted by your office proactively. In addition, I have been scheduled for appointments on days I cannot attend, and the only way to correct this has been by speaking directly with the dentist. 2. Unreturned Calls: I have been promised return phone calls from staff on multiple occasions, but those calls have not been made. 3. Insurance Handling: When attempting to provide my insurance information, I was told staff were “too busy” and instructed to text it in. I was also told my insurance would be confirmed, yet I never received follow-up communication. Further, I was advised that insurance would only cover future services, not the procedures currently being performed, without proper assistance in understanding or completing the required forms. As a patient, I find this lack of support and communication unacceptable, especially given the cost and importance of these procedures. I am not an expert in dental insurance, and I expected your staff to provide clear guidance and assistance—something that has been sorely lacking. I respectfully request the opportunity to speak with someone in your organization who can take ownership of these issues and help me move forward with the level of service and professionalism that should accompany such an important investment in my health. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your timely response and a resolution.

Fantastic experience: Walked in with a broken bridge. Cracked in half. The consultation was free. They even did X-rays. Went over my options. Will be getting a new set within the month. This time they will be custom designed.

I’ve been a patient here for eight months, and I can honestly say everyone is professional—from the front desk staff to the doctors and the team in the back. One time I even walked in without an appointment, and they were more than happy to fit me in. The staff is truly fabulous, and I couldn’t be happier with the care I’ve received.”

Negative experience: I called to get information about dental implants under the impression that the consultation would be free. When I spoke with the office staff, I was told there would be a $200 charge for a special X-ray. When I asked about the “free consultation,” I was told that while the consult itself is free, the doctor requires this X-ray in order to conduct it. To me, this feels misleading and more like a bait-and-switch. If an X-ray is mandatory, that cost should be disclosed clearly up front when advertising a free consultation.

Fantastic experience: Affordable Dentures is a great place to have any kind of work done right. The staff is friendly, polite and accommodating.Their treatment pricing is very fair, compared to most other competitors. I felt on my first consultation, as if I was a priority even though their waiting room was full. I was definitely very satisfied with my visit and would definitely recommend their services.

Negative experience: Was very painful experience. I was not informed that the implants would take nearly 7 months to complete. Nor was I told that the o-rings would have to be replaced periodically. At My last appointment with the dentist, he told me that they would have to be replaced periodically and the first time there would be no charge but after that, I would be charged. That is not true. I do have to pay and I feel that is wrong. Wouldn’t recommend this place

Negative experience: The doctor is terrific and very professional. The Dental Assistant was wonderful too. The front desk staff terrible andespecially i believe her name is Amy is very rude inconsiderate no patience and not passionate about people. You need a people person in her position. Also they take forever to answer the phone and when they do they answer and say please hold. The never come back to the phone. I called over and over again and they answer as and say please hold and kept me holding for another hour and I hang up. Very unprofessional people in front desk and answering the phones. Thank you

Everything was explained upfront from what they offered, what I wanted, the selection of dentures, the cost, instructions to go over before procedure. They listened to my needs. No pressure. Met the dentist, who has a great sense of caring and very gentle. I even had impressions of my mouth taken the same day. The day of my procedure, with teeth extractions there was no pain. They called and check up on me. Temporary plate looks so natural and fits great. My visit for final impressions for permanent top dentures was Another Great experience. Fantastic experience: Affordable Dentures is an excellent place of business! I arrived for my appointment and had wait yes, about 2 hours. These things happen so I patiently waited, although I was missing work. As I went to check out and pay for my visit the lady taking my payment was informed not to do so. Negative experience: This place is truly terrible. For a business that services mostly elderly people they lack compassion, professionalism and respect. I hope one day they realize the importance of honoring their guarantees. In the meantime, I hope karma bites them in the butt for the way they treat their patients. If your bridge breaks they will not work to help get you an emergency appointment. Giving you one in a few weeks. Not only that but their “guarantees” are not honored, their staff is unprofessional and they will hound you to change a poor review or they will bar you from service. Do yourself a favor and find another dentist that will respect you.

Fantastic experience: The experience was great, dentist went over all my options for now and future. The environment was upbeat and u was even dancing to the music, I am afraid of dental places but this dentist calmed my anxiety.

Positive experience: So far so good. Had my first post op and they are in no rush to be done with me. Are working with me until I feel comfortable enough to opt for my permanent fixture. Staff very pleasant, helpful, and understanding. Taking care of your mouth is your first option, but if you are past that point then this organization is worthy of your consideration.

Fantastic experience: The experience was great. I was a little bothered by the fact that just 6 months ago in January I had to have to tooth repaired and today at the cost of $195. Today I had to go back in and have that exact same tooth replaced at another charge of $195. Your front office staff was wonderful it's not their fault but if someone could contact me regarding this matter I would very much appreciate it. Any one with teeth issues who doesn't go here is foolish. 5k to have my whole mouth fixed, other places wanted 3.5k just to remove 3 teeth. From the doctors to Maddy, man they really exceeded all expectations!! Thank yall for everything, my new life begins next week.

Was in and out after two extractions with no pain. Personable, friendly staff and professional bedside manner. Would 100% recommend for affordable dental procedures.

Fantastic experience: Affordable dentures is a great and affordable place if your looking for a new smile. Bad teeth definitely bring alot of insecurity and self consciousness but at Affordable Dentures and Implants they do not make you feel judged or uncomfortable. They just wanna help you build your confidence back and be there in any way they can for you. Definitely recommend this place and a super big shoutout to Crystal at the front desk for always being super nice and answering any questions asked. Also, major props to Hilda as well for doing all of my adjustments to make me feel comfortable and always making sure my teeth fit right and mold well to my mouth and also answering any questions i have. Crystal and Hilda along with the rest of the staff have definitely made this process easier and I can't be more grateful for them. 10 outta 10.

Fantastic experience: I am absolutely given this place a five-star review they deserve more but five is as much as you can give so that's what they get after being totally disappointed in a dentist in Palm City area near Martin Downs who I thought was charging me entirely too much for what I needed done I found affordable dentures and implants The people there are so very nice and really care about you The prices are way better than a lot of places I had a bottom denture made from them and it is the most comfortable thing I never thought I could be this comfortable with a denture but it's such a good fit I swear to you it almost feels like your own teeth I can eat anything I want with no problems I love these people I thank you all very much and I will be your biggest fan forever keep up the great work.

Fantastic experience: Affordable dentures and implants did such an amazing job. Holly and Annie are so patient and really handled my father Serge B with such patience and care. With his cognitive issues, he tends to move much slower and they paid careful attention to explain the entire process, making him feel comfortable and at ease.

Fantastic experience: My experience at Affordable Dentures has been nothing BUT AMAZING! I called and spoke to MADDY who gave me an appointment for the next day. Once I arrived the next day, I was treated with respect and courtesy from the entire front desk staff. MADDY showed both my wife and me to an exam room where she informed us both about the doctor we would be seeing and what to expect. Dr AL entered the room and made us feel very comfortable. Exactly the wayMADDY said he would. After the exam, MADDY worked very quickly to give me all of my options for extractions and dentures. I had been researching other practices where I felt like they were trying to sell me a car. She gave me several options without overwhelming me. The next day, I called and made the appointment to start this journey. I feel very confident with Affordable Dentures, DR AL, and their staff, especially MADDY!

She was beyond kind and explained everything that was going to happen, before it happened. As someone with dentist anxiety it is very helpful to have someone knowledgeable and caring be your first interaction! Henry was the dentist who took care of me afterwards and he was also very explanatory, kind and knowledgeable (and funny!) After I was all done, Maddy made sure everything went smoothly and genuinely cared about my response. Checking out was quick thanks to her. There were also two other ladies behind the desk whose names I did not get that were also very sweet. I will definitely be recommending this practice, and returning for future appointments. Most dentist look down and talk down on you when you don’t have teeth that are in perfect shape, so I stopped going because I got tired of feeling worse about my smile than I already did. One of my customers works at this office and told me to come by and I have to says BY FAR the best dental team. From Holly (the office manager) to the dentist and the techs that saw me. They were all beyond amazing and completely reassuring that they were going to help me get the confidence to be able to smile without my hand directly covering my mouth to hide my teeth. Couldn’t recommend this place more. Each of them were lovely. Especially my dentist I saw Bucaj, and Holly. You guys are very much appreciated! thank you!

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of meeting Dr Essen on my first visit. He was very knowledgeable and explained my options. I also got to meet Holly (GM) She was very sweet and helped me through the finance process. I was approved on the spot for the amount I needed. Then I got to meet the sweetest of them all…Annie (Ann Marie) She did the impressions for my new smile. She is very good at what she does. I was very nervous but everyone was very kind and helped me feel as ease. I go back next week for the surgery but after today I feel more confident that I chose the right place. I would definitely recommend this location.

Negative experience: I paid 8000 dollars for my dentures! It took over a year of try in every month where I had to take off work. I can in no way get the final pair they made for me in my mouth so I was stuck wearing my temporary! My temps broke in in less than 18 months forcing me to go somewhere else to have them fixed! I then had to spend more money just so I could eat! I strong advise looking in to aspen dental first even if it coast a little more! They had me a very well fitting pair with no glue needed in about a month! I was a patient my name is Jennifer lamb. Oh don’t let me forget the exposed bone that was left after the bone graph causing infection

Negative experience: I have waited to make a review with this place to see how they would fix the problems they created. I would NEVER recommend anyone to this place. It’s not affordable…..nor do they care about the patients. They take no insurance so you better have $$$$. I paid over $6,000 to have 5 teeth extracted and partial plates on top and bottom. I did not opt for the cheapest either. My partials have never fit properly. When you say something the remark you get is “ Well they aren’t your real teeth “. Recently I had to have 1 of the teeth that my upper partial attaches to extracted. I was charged $521 to extract the tooth (which by the way was very loose)… put 1 new tooth in the partial….and to add a hook to attach to another tooth. Today I went to pick up my altered partial and they just threw in a tooth that doesn’t even look like the others……they NEVER added the hook. When I questioned the dentist his words were “I told you we couldn’t fix that”. Never was I told that !!!! And why was I charged $185 for a hook This place is a scam!!!!!!
