Negative experience: Front desk is very rude when I called and ask for information on one of the providers. They refused to give me any information and when I said I like to get in as soon as possible is told I could not get into October or November Definitely Do not feel like it rely on them When I really needed them

Fantastic experience: I’m giving Bluestem five stars because They do well filling community gaps. For me, it has turned out not to be long periods of time. But in the past five months, They have collectively gone out of their way for me. The provider Who a nurse recommended, optimally Listen carefully to me as an autistic Person who had drastically fallen through workplace and primary care cracks over the past year. I had been needing referral to variety of providers. The physician assistant, Hannah Schmitz, Accomplished all the referrals I had imagined, And even offered one I hadn’t thought about. Then Natasha Challquist Is doing amazing job directing the 27th St. clinic. My situation had all but fallen apart. She salvaged it. She consistently explained where she was coming from. She interactive well in writing, When often providers and other domains of society Require I communicate only audibly outside my most accessible mode. In addition, Nishma Joined Natasha and I For an hour of connecting dots enclosure on an array of traumatic encounters With providers that started 15 years ago, unrelated to blue stem, Related entirely to stigma for toward my autistic demeanor. This integrated collection of providers is not one I take for granted, especially at a community clinic, But anywhere for that matter. It leaves me hopeful that in Lincoln, Nebraska, Autistic people will be in better hands going forward than was the case For my generation and then will be the case for my future, then my past. Thank you, you Hannah, Natasha, and Mima for filling a gap at a pivotal time in my life.

Fantastic experience: Very welcoming staff and providers. Nurses call back when asked to. Have a sliding fee scale for people who maybe don't have insurance, etc. Very compassionate environment!

Fantastic experience: Great! I have been treated diabetes in this place for 8 years. Everything is good for me. The receptionists are welcome. Dr. Julia is amazing. She is knowledgeable and helpful.

Negative experience: My son waited five weeks to get in, and then we did not receive a call or text about upcoming appointment. Received an email the night before saying to confirm, and woke up to a message saying it was cancelled. Gave them a call and as usual, every person working the front desk and even the supervisor, was rude, unprofessional, and honestly quite pathetic. The actually dentist there is sweet and deserves her flowers as she was very nice and helpful. The front desk staff however, treats us like trash every single time we come in here and or talk on the phone. If yall need a dentist, I advise to go to a real dentist and not some place where the unhappy people in life run the desk and make it harder for everyone because it’s apparent those individuals are miserable. Absolutely pathetic.

Fantastic experience: Everyone says this but it's true here. Dr. Shahan, Maxine and Amy were not only professionals, they were personal. I liked them and felt like they listened to me. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely LOVE my provider, Sarah Grady, PA-C! I had to switch my primary due to moving, needing a more convenient location, so i chose Sarah as a shot in the dark actually. But how lucky can a person get! I didn't think anyone would be able to live up to the personal attention and personality match that I felt with my previous physician, but Dr Grady met what I was looking for, and actually topped what I had before! Now, wherever I live in the Lincoln area, I would travel just to be cared for by Sarah. I feel that she and her staff make it a priority to give their best during the time they spend with me. I feel better after seeing her smile when she recognizes me in passing in the waiting room, and the tender way she goes about obtaining delicate or personal information makes me feel at ease. The kind touch as she walks me out after our office visit soothes me, calms me. I am very grateful to Bluestem and especially to Sarah for all the help they have given me recently. The benefits of enjoying good health is a no-brainer nowadays. But when you're faced with the unknown, when your once good health is somehow threatened or it just begins to deteriorate with age, that peace of mind you normally felt? That all goes right out the window, replaced with fear. Having a strong, trusting and good relationship with your doctor is SO underrated! I suggest that everyone seek a physician who not only knows his/her medical stuff very well, but is kind enough and cares enough to get to know YOU as a person also. Anyway, the appreciation and gratitude I feel for this woman and her staff at Bluestem-Kreshel Clinic is almost difficult to put into words. I've wanted to tell her myself personally, but I always become choked up with emotion just thinking about it! It's time that she is recognized and acknowledged because she has been an excellent person for me to rely on when I've not felt well. Sarah Grady has time and time again earned her ! Fantastic experience: Reba Cooksley is one of the best I have ever had, she very knowledgeable friendly & experienced she has an amazing team of gals too, she maybe young however very experienced always cares listens q & A she always finds out, sends me to specialist when I need to re: My DIABETES, she is aways cheerful, she is very thorough & thoughtful she really does care! She is going places in her Career, very knowledgeable & specializes in DIABETES, neuropathy, high BP I cannot say enough good about her & her team! Amazing gal, thank you Reba, and your Staff! She certainly keeps me on track!

Negative experience: This was absolutely a terrible experience. The dentist was cocky and arrogant but when it came time to pull my wisdom tooth he couldn’t get it out. Afterwards I was in so much pain they wouldn’t prescribe me anything for pain. They told me to use ibuprofen which didn’t help me. I will never go back there. I just went to my new dentist office this morning and was so pleased with my experience that it prompted me to leave this review.

Negative experience: Came in for help with appetite and general support. I didn’t even ask about hormones initially. When I followed up and asked for free testosterone and SHBG testing — both medically relevant and tied to my symptoms — I got a rude, dismissive call saying there was “no reason” to test it. That’s not just bad care — that’s ignorance. They’re packed, rushed, and clearly overwhelmed, and it shows in how they treat people. You’re not seen as a human — you’re just another file to shuffle through the system. They cling to outdated reference ranges, hide behind insurance limitations, and make no real effort to investigate or understand root issues. If you want actual care, go somewhere that respects your time, your intelligence, and your symptoms. This place isn’t it.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Bluestem Health was amazing. Checking in online was fast and effective, my time in the waiting room was short, and the entire staff was kind and knowledgeable. Highly recommend to anyone but especially if you have medicaid, Medicare, or no insurance as they support sliding scale and believe in healthcare for all. 5/5 no complaints.

Fantastic experience: My provider, Julia is kind, considerate, does not rush things, follows through, communicates with other providers and definitely cares about her patients. She has the exceptional qualities that a lot of providers these days have lost. That goes for her nurse too. She always wears a smile and radiates joy!!!

Negative experience: Current review: oh here we go again. Now they have changed it so that eight minutes late is too late for your appointment. They didn't tell anybody else, they just changed the rules and now they won't see people even though healthcare appointments are important and people are late because life happens. The last time I was in (sake issue! Been in pain 3 months now!) the doctor made fun of me to the office staff because I had concerns about side effects from the pain medications. Fk Bluestem Health

Negative experience: Trying to get in ASAP!!! This medical place can cancel your appointment. In return they have to schedule me 3 months out. That's messed up!!!!!!!!! Most of my meds are out and they are ones you don't want to go without. I'm very disappointed in this place and am eerie about going in. If they are that neglected in scheduling, how is their medical knowledge.?? I have to go in so I can get my meds. The Dr. Chow canceled my appointment in December and booked me out clear into March. That's messed up.!!!!! They do not have a cancelation call out to those who are booked out. I have about a month to go and no meds. God grant me the strength to make it.

Fantastic experience: I generally dislike having lab work done because my veins are difficult to draw blood from. Mindy was successful on the first try, and for that I am grateful. Thank you, Mindy! The staff is extremely courteous and professional. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: Bluestem health is the worst. Nobody go here because it's really bad. They will send you in for a scan and they won't tell you the results until a month later. If someone was super sick and they can't get their results then what are they supposed to do. Also when you call to make an appointment the front desk person asks more questions about your illness than your doctor. Also their interpreters make their own appointments based off their own availability. Nobody new who just moved here ever go to bluestem health

Positive experience: When I arrived at 9;00 am it seemed as if it was understaffed at the Front Desk. It took me five to ten minutes to get checked in. There was only one person at the front desk and She was tied up helping someone on the phone. At about 9:10 a second person came in. She sat in the position typically occupied by the person who checks patients in. From that point on things went at a "normal " pace. Despite everything I was in the office somewhere between 45 and 60 minutes

Negative experience: Trying to get into a dentist office here in Lincoln but wouldn’t recommend them if ur a new patient. They schedule new patients based off of cancellation of other patients unfortunately and seem to be super full on clients. Front desk was super nice just upset about how hard it is to find a dentist that matches my insurance here.

Negative experience: Worst experience. Got a confirmation I had a appointment scheduled. Went down there and sat for over an hour just for them to tell me I never had a appointment in the first place and I just have a meeting with the coordinator. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to the dentists and hygienists here for well over a decade. It’s always the highlight of my day! Who else can say that? I saw Mumu recently about my sliding scale fee. She helped me lower that number after giving her my tax return. She asked if I could afford all my medications. She offered to help me by contacting the drug maker, on one of them, to possibly lower my out of pocket cost. Everyone there has treated me so, so well over the years!!

Fantastic experience: Selecting Bluestem has been the best health decision I’ve made in Lincoln after a few years of mediocre care at a few clinics in Lincoln. Appointments are at convenient times, clinic response to problems is quick and helpful, office staff is kind and polite, and the providers and healthcare staff is knowledgeable, positive and helpful. Referrals to specialists have been excellent. I have good employment-based insurance and the reasonable cost of care at Bluestem makes it even better. Seriously, if you are looking for health care, this is a great organization.
