Fantastic experience: So far I've only had good experiences with Stonehaven. My girlfriend came here and got numerous fillings along with getting her wisdom teeth pulled and I was surprised at how low the cost was! They provided excellent care, the staff is friendly, and the environment is very nice. I've been seeing a different dentist for a while that always over charges me, pushes me to do unnecessary treatments, and has not been transparent about pricing. I recently went to them and they wanted to charge me $990 for a filling and a crown. I came to Stonehaven to get a second opinion and to see what their price would be. They saved me several hundred dollars and provided a wonderful experience in comparison to the other dentist. I will definitely be coming back!

Fantastic experience: Nice place everyone is very helpful and nice . The dentists there are very good and down to earth.

Negative experience: Not sure why I would be forced to do a deep cleaning just because they diagnosed me as needing it. I asked for a regular cleaning that is covered and can’t have it because they want to charge me for the diagnosed deep clean. Apparently the customer isn’t always right. I just don’t get it?

Fantastic experience: 2025: My experience at Stonehaven continues to be stellar due to the efforts of many staff including Dr Nate and Paul. Paul genuinely cares about me. I have been a customer for more than five years and have no thoughts of going elsewhere. They are efficient and respectful of my time. I have been to several Stonehaven facilities and they are all beautiful, relaxing and clean. I’m a fan. 2023: I will probably never choose to get my oral care done anywhere else. Paul, my hygienist, is someone I look forward to seeing and he cares about me as a person, not just as a patient. Dr. Tyson was my dentist for years, and Dr. Nate is my dentist now, I feel very confident in their skills both professionally and personally. I always feel at ease here. Thank you Stonehaven Dental, Paul, and Dr. Nate for making my visits comfortable.

Negative experience: 8/16/25: New Review: Against my better judgment, I returned to this insane place to have my teeth cleaned. Made the appointment, had a hygienist do her thing, the dentist do his exam, and then they refused to clean my teeth. They want me to come back to another appointment for a cleaning. Now they've used up my insurance portion, and when I go to a good dentist, I will have to pay out of pocket. What a flippin' waste of time and money at this hellhole. 2020: In my opinion, my experience as a patient was about average for what you expect at a dentist office: dental check-up, cleaning, and dentist evaluation. However, when my daughter was anesthetized to take care of her cavities, her being a minor, I would expect her guardian to be able to observe in any capacity to make sure she was safe. Nevertheless, her guardian was required to be away from her. The entire staff demonstrated absolute apathy, and did not provide informed consent. There is no way my children will be placed in a vulnerable position where there is any chance they may become victims. 11/25/2020: The information was not previously disclosed for full informed consent. If patient's safety is your number one priority, there is no reason not to allow the parent to witness, even from afar, what is being done to the patient. The standard of care was breached, and it is unacceptable!

Negative experience: The worst experience ever. False information through the phone. Their receptionist have the worst attitude. They just care about getting your insurance's money.

Negative experience: Really disappointed went in here just for a teeth cleaning didn’t want to do anything extra immediately told me that I need a periodontal cleaning which was a lie. I went to another dentist to verify everything was just fine and now I will be going to this new dentist, these people just after your insurance to charge more money.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Stone Heaven in Lehi for years. I’ve always love their attention, professionalism, and the staff. Amanda, my hygienist is the best, very professional and detail in all she does. She takes cares of my teeth like no one else and is super kind and friendly.

Fantastic experience: I have nothing but good things to say about this place. When I came in back in November of last year with a cracked tooth, I was so nervous. I hadn't been to the dentist in a long time so I was embarrassed about that, and I was also terrified of going at all because I know novocaine doesn't totally work on me so I've had some unavoidably bad experiences at the dentist before. Everyone at Stonehaven was so understanding of my situation and were so kind and helpful throughout the process. They made everything easy. Everything was explained to me in a way that made me feel a lot better. From the actual procedure, to my dental insurance, they took me through all of it so I knew what to expect. During the process of getting my fillings and cap, the dentist was amazing! He took everything slow for me, and prioritized my comfort and I am so appreciative. I have been going to them ever since and every time I've gone in its been a great experience (which is not an easy thing to say about going to the dentist lol) I am so glad I found this place! Thank you all for the work you do!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Makenzie (Kenz) Davis is very thorough, explains everything, kind, careful. I had a dentist for 19 years and he retired, and a second one retired. I hope this will be my last search for a long time. I couldn't be more pleased with Dr. Davis, and his office staff, assistants. I highly recommend Stonehaven Dental in Lehi. Such a great place.

Negative experience: I’ve been taking my daughter to her check-up appointments every 6 months since she was one year old. Now she’s four. At the last two appointments, I brought up some dark spots I noticed on her molars, but I was told it was normal. Then, two months later ( after her 6 month check up) my daughter started complaining about pain in the same molar, which now had even more discoloration. I brought her back in, and this time I was told she needs a crown. I’m very disappointed because I had raised this concern over a year ago. I ended up finding another dentist, and her new provider was able to take clearer, more detailed X-rays. I no longer trust Stonehaven Dental with my children’s care. I strongly recommend finding a dentist who specializes in pediatric care.

Fantastic experience: I came in very embarrassed about my dental needs based on previous experiences elsewhere. I needed two bridges to accommodate missing teeth and some chipped front teeth from trauma. These people are not only great at what they do they are also incredibly kind. From the front desk staff, the assistants to the doctors and so on. I’ve never felt judged at any visit, only supported and treated professionally. It’s such a positive and welcoming atmosphere. I can’t imagine going anywhere else or taking my family anywhere else for our dental needs. My dental phobia is gone and confidence to smile again restored. This isn’t just a review it’s a heartfelt thank you.

Fantastic experience: I like being greeted with a friendly face , being taken care of by a kind hygientist and know I am in being treated by a great and knowledgeable dentist. Stonehaven provides all of that.

Positive experience: Asked to sign a consent without a copy of consent. Filled out paperwork before appointment- as instructed and given same paperwork in paper form at appointment. Staff are friendly and hygienist did a good job. Dentist was eh- total face time 60 seconds.

Negative experience: I went to Stonehaven because I was desperate and in pain, needing a root canal for my back right cracked molar, and they messed me up so bad. First, they don't know how to get insurance straight, and they overcharged me 3 times. Second, when they worked on me, they saw infection but had already sawed open my tooth, I was sent home to let that infection drain on its own with antibiotics, and no pain meds. They left me with a serrated tooth that kept cutting my mouth and open nerve endings for 3 days. Then, when I get back, they work on putting the temp. crown on and they drop a little file inside my tooth, and tried to make me decide while in pain, and not fully off of the laughing gas, on what to do about it, so they sealed it inside the tooth. Then finally after all that nightmare and being unmedicated they still had the nerve to send me more bills, when in reality I needed a refund, which I am still waiting on to this day.(been a little over a month now) Even after a couple of weeks of that last nightmare I called and complained multiple times about pain and was ignored. I went to a new dentist and found out I had an abscess right by the file and under the roots that they said was taken care of. I had to have the tooth pulled, and there was no saving it. I was also hospitalized twice because of the extreme pain, and this is all because they did not listen to me and wanted to cover their butts.

Fantastic experience: I love my dental hygienist. Always so fun and so thorough!

Fantastic experience: Dr was very pleasant and seemed genuinely concerned with getting things right. The assistant was very good as well. They explained things so I understood what they were going to do. They made extra effort to accommodate my crazy schedule.

Negative experience: My wife made an appointment for 7am one morning, she gets up early and arrives on time for the appointment only to be told that because she didn’t confirm in a text that it was cancelled. Notably there was not cancellation text so she still showed up (as we always do) and was told her appointment was no longer available and they had scheduled someone else. On top of that they refused to work with her to see if they could get her in since she was there for her appointment. We have never missed an appointment for us or for any of our 4 kids. It seems they don’t want our business so we will be rescheduling an appointment, but for somewhere else. Caution that you MUST reply to one of the texts that they send or they will give your appointment away - just FYI for anyone who wants to go to Stonehaven, or better yet, go somewhere else that values your business and doesn’t just treat you as revenue source.

Fantastic experience: My dental exam and cleaning was done quickly, thoroughly and efficiently aas well as relatively painlessly.

Negative experience: This place gave me a false report on my teeth claiming that I had an infection, that my gum as well as bone were receding. They also told me that my teeth were going to be falling out soon. They wouldn’t do a normal cleaning for me unless i rescheduled for a 2hr cleaning that would cost over $1500. I went and got a second opinion from a different dentist and I was told my teeth and gums were very healthy and immediately did a nice professional cleaning for me. Stay away from stone haven unless you are planning on getting a second option.

Negative experience: care is good. too many signatures, too many text messages to ensure you show up for the appt and that they get paid. It is far too bothersome. Used to like these guys but they are so corporate now it's just not fun to go here.

Fantastic experience: These guys are always great with cleanings, dental work and cosmetic dentistry. They have a great orthodontist practice in the same building and they collaborate and coordinate. Highly recommended!!

Negative experience: I went in for a loose crown and literally 3 hours after they tried to pull it out, and do a whole new crown, they just tightened and the one I had and it's as good as new. There was no need to remove it in the first place.

Fantastic experience: I've been going here for at least 15 years, they've always treated me well and all the work they've done on my teeth has been excellent. I've had the same kind hygienist for 4 years, Amanda takes great care of my teeth every 6 months.

Negative experience: Met with one dentist and really liked her. Went in for cavities to be filled and a different dentist did them. They hurt a lot after, were a weird color, and one ended up falling out after a month or so. Went to a different dentist to fix it (obviously). They ended up redoing all of them since I didn’t want to risk any more falling out. They also confirmed the fillings should not have been turning black. My insurance covered the first set of cavities, but since they had to be redone so soon after, they didn’t cover the second set and it cost me hundreds of dollars. I really did like the first dentist I saw and am bummed with how everything ended up

Fantastic experience: Love this dentist for both kids and adults! They were so patient with my 2 year old and made her experience so special! They even have a little play area for kids! My husband and I also had great experiences here! I have been to a few different dental practices in Utah and none of them compare to this one! They listen to us and really try to make it a comfortable and easy visit. Dr. Kirk is the best!

Negative experience: I wanted to share some feedback regarding my wife’s recent experience at your office. She came in for a routine cleaning, during which the hygienist accidentally dislodged the bonding work done by our previous dentist. When she returned to have it fixed, she was informed that it would cost over $200 to correct—a cost we feel shouldn’t fall on us, given that it was an issue caused during her visit. This was not with Dr. Redford, whom we greatly appreciate and have always had positive experiences with. Unfortunately, the other dentist who attended to her made her feel very uncomfortable, prompting her to leave without receiving further treatment. Due to this experience, we’ve decided to look for a new dental provider once our current insurance plan with your office expires.

Fantastic experience: After a bad billing experience at a different dentist office, my mom recommended coming to Stonehaven. I’m definitely not disappointed! They were very transparent from the start and the clinic was clean and ran very smoothly. There was a monitor in front of the patient chair that reflected what the doctor had pulled up on their computer screen, which I had never experienced before! Then, after I was seen by Dr. Davis, the receptionist was extremely transparent about billing and answered every question I had (there was another screen at her desk that showed the break down of everything, which, as a young adult trying to figure out how insurance works, was wonderful!). Again, I just highly appreciate their transparency and the way they run their office. To top it all off, the dental hygienist I had did a wonderful job. Every single staff member I came in contact with was very kind. Definitely recommend!

Positive experience: Update on November 9, 2024. I went in to get two fillings today, but instead of leaving with a clean mouth, I was dismissed with a bloody one. In the past, they would at least rinse my mouth after finishing the fillings, but not this time. It wasn’t a pleasant experience. I like all the staff there, they are all friendly, helpful and professional!

Fantastic experience: This was only my first visit, but the new patient process was overall not bad. Had a few issues with the form for new patients, but the staff at the front desk were all so kind and friendly and helped me get it figured out. Plus I went on my birthday and they gave me a little coupon for a free swig drink which was super sweet. Dentist, hygienists, front desk, they were all super friendly and kind. Good first impression for me.

Fantastic experience: I am terrified of the dentist and it has been years since I've been. But every member of staff I met and worked with at my appointment today was fantastic.

Fantastic experience: Dr. NATE and NOAH are amazing! I had the very best experience ever with these two. Dr. Nate is a very busy man, but the second he is in your room gives excellent bedside manor as well as his 100% attention and care for his patients. He remembers you just by looking at your teeth, ha ha ha. Noah is a great assistant and is on the path to becoming an amazing dentist. I'll see you again for my next cleaning and check-up. Negative experience: These guys are a joke. They’re told us the price would be X for a wisdom teeth removal, and that if insurance didn’t cover the entire thing, they wouldn’t bill us more. Well, they called today with their hand out asking for an increased payment. Incompetent and sleazy. 0/10 would recommend.

Negative experience: I come in here for a cleaning and I brush my teeth regularly and it feels like every time I come here I always have problems with my teeth, whether it be cavities or my “chip” in my tooth, which i never chipped, it grew it like that, but last time I was here, which was in April, they were supposed to prescribe me something called silver fluoride, and I never got it, so now thanks to these people my teeth are probably messed up and I don’t even know it. I would go somewhere else but this place is cheaper with my insurance…

Negative experience: The last time I went in for a cleaning at Stonehaven, was awful! My hygienist was so rude. Zero personality. Aggressive with my cleaning. Never even bothered to ask if I needed a shield when he did x rays. He was also aggressive with the mouth pieces, just shoving them in. I’ve been going to Stonehaven for probably 12 years. Awful experience. Will never go back.

Fantastic experience: I went in for a check-up and cleaning. I arrived early for my appointment and they came and got me about three minutes before my scheduled appointment. They were very nice and the cleaning was done well (it's been a few years since I've been in for a cleaning). The hygienist and dentist went over what to to keep my teeth healthy, and went over some others I need to take of. They were clear and complete with what they said; I knew what I needed to do next. Overall it was a good experience.

Negative experience: After many years and many good experiences, I am leaving Stonehaven. There are numerous issues with the financial management team. When you are told that your insurance will cover a procedure, and then after the procedure is completed, you find out from your insurance that it is not mostly covered, you end up with a large bill from Stonehaven due to their mistake. I only agreed to the procedure because I was told it was completely covered. This is sad and heartbreaking.

Fantastic experience: Thus is my first encounter with Stonehaven Dental, and the experience was excellent. When there was a problem, they communicated it to me. They were able to get me scheduled the day I called which was very important to me... I was in pain. I have scheduled a return visit for normal teeth maintenance. Update: Dr Nate Tobler is experienced, confident, and understanding. The office staff are patient and thorough. This office is excellent.

Negative experience: This place sucks!! Don’t come here if you need your wisdom teeth removed. My best friend came here recently and was denied any pain meds except Iveprovin after getting all of her wisdom teeth removed and two were infected she called to ask to get prescribed a medication to ease her severe pain in her mouth and maradith was snappy and rude to her when she asked. They did not give her clear instructions on to how to take care of her teeth except for using ice every couple of hours not to not spit or rinse her mouth. Very rude and do not care about their clients if I can give them 0 stars I would. They gave her a dentist to call and he never responded. The dental assistant that was helping the doctor has no schooling very unprofessional and disgusting. I hope no one else has to experience what she went through yall need to change.

Negative experience: After many years and many good experiences I am leaving Stonehaven. When you get told that your insurance is covering a procedure 100% and then after the agreed to procedure is complete, I find out from my insurance that is is not 100% covered and I get stuck with the bill. I only agreed to he procedure because I was told that it was completely covered. I am both angry and saddened by this deception. Good bye Stonehaven!

Fantastic experience: Went in for a crown and a filling…my entire face from my chin to my eyeballs was numb for hours. They grinded and chipped away and had me set up with a temporary crown in about an hour. Even though the temporary crown broke the next day while eating sushi, they still did a pretty good job with what they had to work with.

Fantastic experience: I haven’t been to the dentist for 9 years, and was super nervous about coming in. But everyone was really friendly, and patient, and kind. I really appreciated that the dentist, Dr. Kens (I think) wanted to pursue the most minimally invasive options first, and didn’t push for repairs that weren’t necessary. I’m so glad I came here for treatment. I feel like it was a good enough experience that I can start being consistent with future dental appointments. Which is a big deal, to me.
