Fantastic experience: I had a really good visit with Abingdon Smiles Dental, the people that was with me during my visit were really nice and careing, I had to get my tooth pulled today, and they took time and explained everything thing to me they are so nice and they take time to answer questions they are very patient also they don't get in a rush they just take there time and they just make you feel comfortable while your in their care, I would recommend them to anyone so give them a try you want regret it!

Fantastic experience: I contacted them on Sunday online and called them on Monday to set up an appointment for a broken tooth. They called me back on Tuesday apologizing for the delay as they were very busy on Monday. Said there was a cancellation and I could come in two hours. Can't get much better than that. The staff was amazing and I am super impressed by this office. Thank you Abingdon Smiles

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Dr. Mavelil and his assistant Taylor for a little over 2 years now and they have done a great job correcting some poorly done dental work that I had done at another dental office a few years prior. They are the best and I love going to this dental office.

Fantastic experience: Took my daughter in to have a possible tounge tie looked at and the dentist and his assistant and I believe her name was Kathy was absolutely wonderful with her and I mean beyond wonderful. Wish they seen kids her age all the time. Best bedside manner I have seen and was so patient with her and she actually enjoyed her dentist appointment. When you like going to the dentist then you know you have truly found an excellent dentist and staff.

Fantastic experience: I can’t express how wonderful my experience was with Dr Knudsen and Cheryl! I’m 51 and have never had any dental work needed not even a filling. So I didn’t know what to expect. Cheryl was sooo professional and knowledgeable when she came in, I actually thought she was the dentist! Dr Knudsen was very patient, gentle and informative. They were an amazing team together and my procedure couldn’t have went smoother for me. I would like to say thank you to Abingdon smiles for my experience and say these two are keepers. They were amazing!!!.

Positive experience: I broke a tooth and thought my appointment was for a repair. It turned out the appointment was only for a consultation to tell me my tooth is broken and needs a repair. I hope to edit my review to 5 stars when my tooth is actually fixed in another month. Staff was distracted by what appeared to be a birthday party and water from the fountain was all over the lobby floor. Maybe I hit on a bad day, I'm hoping things go better and my tooth gets repaired next month.

Fantastic experience: The teeth extractions was really good they numb me really well I felt no pain during getting my teeth pulled and the next day now with the medicine you gave me I have just little pain and soreness it is going great and everything else is good and a well trained staff

Fantastic experience: They are very involved with your dental health, it's not just an in and out shop. Very informative with what the current state your health is in and options of how to improve if need or what is best to maintain. Even though they suggested something they never made me feel pressured in purchasing anything. Six years of going here I have never had to wait for anyone to "catch up" on my dental history. They are fully aware of the last visits and anything they wanted to keep an eye on as soon as I am seated. This, to me, is pretty impressive since my appointments are at 8am and there isn't much time between clocking in and calling me back. That brings me to appointment times. I do 8am and it's near right on the dot being called back. I've had later appointments before and they are just as prompt. That does not mean the service is rushed. My cleanings are very thorough. They just have time management down and book appropriately. This part isn't really important, but for those of you that worry about something like 2020 happening again maybe this will be useful information. They adapted quickly to what was known as the "2020 pandemic" and my appointments were not interrupted. The way my cleanings fall I was scheduled within the first months of the pandemic and later in the year of 2020. I was never exposed to or contacted covid 19 and just to throw it in there, no flu or cold virus before or after 2020.

Fantastic experience: I was a few minutes early and they immediately took me back for my 6 month cleaning. They welcomed me by name. The cleaning was done thoroughly and quickly! Everyone was quite friendly and made sure I was comfortable with what they were doing. This is my third time there because I am new to Abingdon. I am very fortunate to have found them after several people recommended them to me, including my son. Very professional office, and great at what they do!
