Fantastic experience: Their treatment was great. I had two children and they were helping me with them and I didn't feel like I was at a dentist. I felt that I was in a nursery for children because of the many games in every corner they had. Thank you, the Tree Town, for your kind treatment with children and parents.

Fantastic experience: My family and I absolutely adore everyone! The staff is so patient and understanding and Jennifer at the front desk is always so pleasant and has a smile. I recommend Tree Town to everyone I know with kiddos. I have a son that has had a sufficient amount of dental work done and has adhd and anxiety. He dislikes going to the dentist. They are extremely understanding and always make the experience smooth and as painless as possible.

Negative experience: They were fantastic for my 4 year old. Through her exam and into having dental surgery. I asked them if they also seen children who are in wheelchairs, as I have a 9 year old son who is wheelchair bound. They told me yes. They can see him, do his exam including xrays, cleaning and anything else that he may need. We scheduled the appointment. Went in on the scheduled date and was told they moved his appointment to a week later, with no phone call or anything. So we go back a week later, and the staff then proceeds to tell us that they "dont know how to do an exam or xrays for a child in a wheelchair" So if your child has special needs or is wheelchair bound avoid this place. Proper communication is not there.

Fantastic experience: My two year old ran into our dining room table and pushed one of her front teeth backward out of alignment. It was Sunday, so I called the emergency line and immediately received a phone call back. Dr. Kim met us at the clinic within the hour and her and Dr. Boynton completed an X-ray and were able to push her tooth back into place. It took about 15 minutes and my daughter immediately calmed down and is doing great. I am so grateful for Tree Town Pediatric Dentistry and highly recommend using them!

Negative experience: Parents, please take a minute to read this. I have never felt the need to leave a review before, and I figured out my Google password specifically so I could write this. A few months ago, I was told my 5 year old daughter has 2 cavities, and we were referred to a specialist who confirmed that. Treatment was attempted, but unsuccessful due to my daughter feeling some distress. Fast forward to now. I brought my daughter in today for an exam to see if her cavities have progressed. I did so because her original dentist is unable to do the necessary dental work for a couple weeks, and I wanted to make sure everything is okay. Tree Town performed an exam, and told me my daughter now has 7, possibly 8 cavities. They also told me she needs 3, possibly 4 silver crowns. They also told me I’m not allowed in the room, and a straight jacket (they call it a velcro wrap) is used. If you’re all for your child being wrapped up in velcro, then this is the place for you. After taking in all this information, I called her dentist and they were concerned with the news, I was able to bring her in immediately where they told me NO crowns are needed and she does NOT have 7+ cavities. Please get a second opinion before letting these people perform anything.

Fantastic experience: We love it here! Our 5 year old son started as a timid, anxious patient a couple years ago and the staff was always very understanding and kind!! He is now has no problems going because each visit has been so great.

Fantastic experience: This was my 3 year old daughter’s first trip to the dentist. From the waiting room through the entire experience, everyone we encountered was smiling and welcoming. My daughter felt at ease with the entire process. The office is beautiful, the staff are so welcoming and it was a wonderful experience overall. I would not hesitate to recommend the a practice to others.

They always have been very accommodating and understanding when I’ve had to cancel or reschedule appointments. I have been taking my children there for over 8 years

Fantastic experience: Tree Town Pediatric Dentistry is a trusted and wonderful establishment to place a child’s oral care in. Not only are they patient with the children, but the parents a well. My son has been apart of this dentistry since he was 2 years old, and as a new parent, they assured me that I was doing everything within my scope of capabilities to assist in his oral care…and patient when answering the mountain of questions I handed them. Tree Town is the only Pediatric Dentistry I would recommend for children!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing experience at this office with Dr. Kim and her staff. The office and bathrooms were very clean. The waiting room was filled with books and a train that the kids enjoyed looking at. The staff was very patient, kind, and understanding with my 3 children ages 9, 3 and 1. They did a fantastic job educating my children and myself on the importance of brushing along with the technique. My children loved it here. Highly recommend!

They set expectations for me and my 13 month olds first dentist cleaning, they were patient but quick, so kind and friendly, and there wasn’t any waiting around for hours like usual in most dentists. Fantastic experience: Amazing! Amazing My son had Serious PTSD from a dentist located in Bloomfield. This place was so compassionate. The entire staff is loving from the reception to the dental hygienist to the doctor assistant to the Doctor! Fast work. My son had a cap put on and he said it was Painless!!! I can’t say enough gratitude about this place (happy tears from a mom who thought my son would always hate the dentist after a horrific experience else where)

Negative experience: Had a horrible experience with the Anesthesiologist on 5-8-2025 me and my son fathers, felt the anesthesiologist was unnecessary rude , prejudice , blaming us for information she needed, that was really irrelevant; to my son getting his cavities filled. I had provided the information requested and I had the texts to prove it; she never read them or the staff didn’t give her the responses , again not my issue, but she refused to filled my sons cavities due to a lack of communication on her end. Had us waiting for over a hour before she even spoke with us, we were the first patients there and the last patient to be seen , tree town appointment have always been on time if not early , I have never experienced any wait times prior til today , and if so it was never over a hour ever. felt since the anesthesiologist already been paid thousands of dollars for 30 Mins when only 5-15 mins max is needed for a cavity, which is a scam , she just didn’t want to perform the procedure my son needed. Could have save us time and money by telling us this when we arrived at 6:45 instead of making us wait til 8am , Just went Thur a lot to be told she is not going to go ahead with the procedure, the anesthesiologist was unprofessional and rude, and went out her way to move as me and my son was walking by , as if I would dare touch her , didn’t even raise my voice at her , I was disappointed, tried and frustrated this has been an 6 month process and we had been speaking for weeks and all morning since 4am , is when I started getting texts for today appointment at 7am , she didn’t give her name but the anesthesiologist wanted to go back and forth but not explain what is it she needed to perform the procedure. Expressed my issues and concerns and they went on deaf ears. This is the first bad experience I’ve experienced at tree town. Children have been going for over 20 years , but this was the first time I’ve had to deal with the Anesthesiologist. They did nothing to make the situation better either Kim allowed her to be disrespectful, is important for health care professionals to know how communicate effectively and respectfully and obtain training on this matter as much as they do with receiving payments and insurance.

Negative experience: You know that point that medical professionals get to when they no longer care about helping a patient and begin caring more about lining their pockets. That's what I think about this place. Don't get me wrong, it's beautiful. Set up perfectly for children. The people are smiling, and very friendly. They even have a cute little dog to play with. My daughter loved it; heck, I loved it until they sat me down in another room off to the side to discuss prices. In another case, it would be the perfect dentist office to make a child comfortable with seeing dentists. And by all means, if you have dental coverage or aren't afraid of paying several months worth of mortgages to fix some baby teeth, this is that place! Unfortunately under my circumstances, it became a place of despair. I left feeling like a failure and drove home with tears rolling down my face. They're standards of care have become too rigid and more about profit than helping the children and their families. I took my 5 year old here because she has cavities that cause her pain when she eats. You can see them. X-rays were not needed but I allowed that extra expense because what the heck; let's see what they say. Well, they seen A LOT. Practically every tooth has some cavity in it. They didn't want to fill the ones you can see. They wanted to put $445 crowns on every molar, $265 nerve treatments on each of those teeth as well. Let's pull another, treat these front teeth that are already on their way out, and ohh, let's put her under to do all of these things because it's going to take a lot of time to complete all this work. And a lot of money. $6185 to be exact......... I asked if we can just fix the ones that are bothering her while we waiting for our insurance coverage to kick in? Let's get her out of pain so she can eat without crying, right? I was told no. No, we cannot just do a couple teeth. We have to do the entire treatment plan, but hey if you want, we can do half the mouth at a time. Cool, so we can put her through this twice, charge me to put her under twice, and not even fully get her out of pain in a timely manner because both sides hurt her. Thanks. What a disappointment?! (I waited to post this until after I got another opinion to see if they were being honest with the amount of work needed. I've seen three dentists in a week now and I'm am so pleased I did. I had the two teeth that were bothering her fixed today and the one treetown was claiming had to be pulled has been saved WITHOUT anesthesia or a baby root canal. And the other they were claiming needed nerve treatment and a crown was fixed with just a filling. I'd like to think Treetown would've gotten into the work and realized that they weren't as bad as they thought, maybe also making the decision to pivot and keep in simple, but I'll never know. Either way, in my case, it was very beneficial for me to get other opinions. It's a nice office but if you get hit with a ridiculous bill like I was, I highly recommend a second opinion.)

Fantastic experience: If I could give Tree Town Pediatric Dentistry 10 stars, I absolutely would! They go above and beyond for my family, and I’m incredibly grateful to have found them. This is our second experience with them—this time for my daughter—and just like before, their care was exceptional. Both of my children needed extensive procedures, and at no point did they make us feel anything but supported. Their only concern was ensuring my children received the best possible care. From the front desk to the dental assistants and doctors, every team member provides outstanding service. Dr. Kim is truly amazing. When I called for a consultation, they made time for us that very same day—something other offices couldn’t offer. Even though my daughter wasn’t in pain at the time, they still prioritized her procedure as soon as possible. The following day, when I needed a medication adjustment for her at school, Dr. Kim rearranged her schedule to see my daughter again right away. When my daughter came home, she told me she felt absolutely nothing during the procedure and was incredibly happy. That level of care and compassion is why I trust Tree Town wholeheartedly. There are many pediatric dentists closer to where I live, but I will gladly drive 30 minutes to see them because they are simply the best. I’m so thankful we found them two years ago, and I wouldn’t take my children anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: This place is such a wonderful find. My son had a terrible first experience at another pediatric dentist in Howell and I was on the look out for a pediatric dentist who was patient and loving and would take their time with anxious little one. Tree Town was recommended to me in a mom group and I'm so glad I took the drive out to check them out. The staff here has gone above and beyond to accommodate his needs and makes him feel loved and cared for while they work on him. They are about 40 minutes away but they are well worth the drive. We are so glad we found Tree Town Pediatrics! -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- Just updating my old review that we still love tree town. My little one isn't completely past his dental anxiety but he's made so much growth in being comfortable at the dentist thanks to the positivity, patience and understanding he gets from the staff here. We are so thankful for this place!

Negative experience: Their website says they take most major dental insurances—but they do NOT. They do not take Blue Cross Blue Shield (about as major as you can get). They also do not take a national dental carrier EMI even their PPO plan! I’m doubting whether they take any insurance at all. We took our son here last year and paid out of pocket. It was a good experience, but it was almost $600 for a basic cleaning and X-rays. So we hoped to go back with dental insurance but apparently they don’t actually take any MAJOR/MOST ones like they falsely advertise, so definitely call before making an appointment. Very disappointing.

Fantastic experience: I’ve used tree town for all my kids dental Needs for the past 10 years with my two oldest aging out now (because there a pediatric dentist) and because they are teenagers and have all there adult teeth ( ones 14 and ones 17) but my youngest is still a patient here. Great place for your kiddo! They’ll be in great hands!

Fantastic experience: Clean, Friendly, Respectful, and Fun; they value children, the policies are created to promote parental consent, questions or concerns are approached with care, and the office is the most efficient we’ve visited. This is a gem and the entire staff are pretty close to angels. 50 stars!!!

Negative experience: I’ve been happy with this dentist up until now, but I’m really frustrated after my recent experience. I just got off the phone with them, and they told me they canceled my 4:30 PM appointment without even asking me first. On top of that, they don’t have any other late appointments available for the next four months! Now my daughter has to miss an appointment because of their scheduling issues, which is really frustrating. I expected more consideration and better communication. Unfortunately, I’m going to have to find a new dentist for her. Super disappointing!

Fantastic experience: I can't say enough about this place. We are foster parents and brought our 4 year old foster daughter. She has had significant dental issues. They are highly skilled in making a nervous child feel comfortable. Janet (the therapy dog) even sat with our daughter through part of her visit. The hygienist explained every part of the visit and let her holdany of the instruments. She even tried some things out with her to show her that it wouldn't hurt. I was so impressed.

Fantastic experience: This place is magic! We brought our VERY fiery two year old in because she lost it when our regular dentist tried to look in her mouth. To say I was dreading this appointment is an understatement. But it honestly went so much better than I could have hoped for. We had Ms. Kim as our hygienist and she might be an actual angel. Fantastic experience: Amazing atmosphere. The receptionist was extremely pleasant. We did not wait long at all, and was greeted by the dental hygienist. She made our son feel calm! Offered to pick out a tooth brush and play with toys! The dentist was extremely pleasant as well! Instantly asked us how we heard about them, engaged with our son to make him calm before she started! Cleaned his teeth very well and quick to help with the two year old screaming! She explained everything, reassured mom the whole time! Gave our son a toy on the way out as well! Would highly recommend them to anyone with children as it makes that dental experience less frightening!

Positive experience: The hygienists have always been very nice, but I have had several questionable experiences and will not be going back. I was told my toddler *had* to be put down on a board for a cleaning exam, despite my toddler being really upset about being put in that position. My lap was not an option, which was a surprise. the dentist also made my 6 year old anxious about a loose tooth, which devolved into intermittent meltdowns and discussions over the following weekend. When talking with other pediatric dentists, neither of these things should be the norm. The office itself is very clean, and they are relatively timely. Just wasn’t the kid-centered experience I had hoped for.

Fantastic experience: Such amazing, compassionate, caring, and polite staff. It is about an hour drive from us but I couldn’t have picked such a better place for my son who is not even two yet to go to. It is definitely worth the drive and we will be returning back to them. They are very welcoming, friendly, and patient with my son. I can’t say enough great things about this place.

Negative experience: I wish I would have looked at the reviews before taking my kids here. I made appointments for my two kids to have their teeth cleaned at the same time (they're 7 and 8) They said I could go back with them if I wanted but once I got back there it was VERY cramped and they kept saying it would be better if I waited in the lobby. I was ok with this so went out and waited. They finished my daughters cleaning first after about 15 minutes and brought me back to inform me that she needed sealants and a "small hole filled" and that they could get her in the same day so of course I agreed (convient!) They said they'd give her notorious oxide (for $75 extra) and she wouldn't feel a thing, again I agreed. As soon as they swipe my card for the $75 they tell me my sons hygienist needs to talk to me and that they'll get my daughter set up for the procedure while I talk to her and assure me they won't start without me. They said "no rush, no hurry, she's just relaxing with an oxygen tube watching a movie take your time!" Well after almost ten minutes of the hygienist telling me in ten different ways that my sons teeth are perfectly fine I am anxious to get to my daughter. I finally get back there and her face is beat red, she's crying and saying "I want my mom! I want my mom" I rush in there to hold her hands and see that they have already done one side of her mouth even though they assured me they wouldn't start without me. Then the dentist comes flying in and starts filling the "small hole" with a sort or cauterizing laser and she is SCREAMING (which is quite the accomplishment when you have two sets of hands in your mouth, a saliva sucker and the sound of dental tools) at this point one of the hygienists quietly tells the Dentist that she never turned the gas on....they did almost her WHOLE procedure without any pain management and without me present. As some of the other reviews have mentioned, as a parent, seeing your child in that state, knowing they were asking for you, when you were ASSURED your child was fine, does something to you. You feel guilty and helpless and I can see how it could scar some children. After the procedure was done they then informed me that actually they filled an entire cavity, in an adult tooth (not a small hole in a baby tooth as previous stated). In my opinion it seems this place is almost like a Fantastic Sam's but for dental work. Get them in and out as many as possible; quantity over quality. Again after going through the experience, processing it, and then reading the reviews my overall takeaway is that I think this is a fine place to take your kids for a routine cleaning but maybe not for more extensive procedures.

Fantastic experience: Really nice staff! Great place to bring your little one. Dr. Kim was wonderful and really explained the procedure and helped for the aftercare for my newborn.

Fantastic experience: The clinic is awesome! Very friendly and clean. The staff is also really kind. My only issue (although I don’t know if it’s common practice) is that they use actual standard toothbrushes to clean the kids teeth, not an actual dental/commercial grade cleaning tool. Again, not sure if that is how it’s done other places, however, when my oldest child was young I do not recall that being the case (different dental practice). Overall, highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I love this dentistry everyone is very sweet and professional. They helped calm my nerves over a dental procedure my daughter needs. I believe the hygienist my little one had today, was Kim. She was sooooo sweet and patient and kind and really made the instruments used for the cleaning less scary for my little girl and I couldn’t have been more grateful. Also helped her understand that fruitsnacks are bad for her teeth so that made our battle a little easier! Haha. I do however wish payment plans were a little more accessible here as the treatments can add up SO fast.

Fantastic experience: I recently took my 19month old daughter to see Dr. Kim and the experience was outstanding. The entire team demonstrated remarkable efficiency and care. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff greeted us warmly and made us feel comfortable. Dr. Kim was an absolute gem—kind, reassuring, and incredibly skilled. The hygienist also provided excellent care with a gentle touch. The office itself was spotless and well-organized. Overall, I highly recommend this practice for anyone looking for top-notch pediatric dental care for your child!

Fantastic experience: My daughter was seen as an emergency after fracturing her teeth. Dr. Kim quickly determined that referral was necessary and staff immediately arranged an appointment. We were very pleased with how rapidly and compassionately the situation was addressed.

Fantastic experience: Been with Tree Town since 2016 for my two girls. We couldn’t have chosen a better pediatric dentistry. From dealing with little ones to getting through the tween braces phase, the entire team has made going to the dentist seamless, and yes, painless!

Fantastic experience: Have now gone 3 times with our daughter (ages 2, 2.5, and 3) and had wonderful experiences each time. From the reception staff to the hygienists to the dentists, a great experience. Most recently worked with a hygienist named Kim and she was the absolute best! Hope to have her again!

Negative experience: We went in for procedure and were informed after everything was over our child had another issue they addressed without coming out and making the parent aware first. This did not show up on the X-rays a month ago. The lack of communication is very disappointing and we’re starting to feel like an excuse is come up with every time to bring us in for money.

Fantastic experience: The staff ans Dr. Kim were amazing. I was having a pretty frustrating morning trying to find a dentist for my daughter. We are new to the area and don't have a dentist. My kid was just outside the age range, but she saw us anyways. She and her staff set everything up for all the care my daughter would need, even calling another office for follow-up care. I'm so grateful to all of them!!

Fantastic experience: The doctor and staffs have always been friendly and great with my child. When my son was 22 months old, he was very scared of the hospital, but the doctor's kindness helped him relax. Now, at 5 years old, he still feels more comfortable because of the their care.

Fantastic experience: Ive taking my children here for quite some time now and I can say my fears have been eased. The staff is very helpful and nice. The Dentist, techs, hygenist and reception. Everyone is very helpful and kind. Dr Shin has seen me cry over fear and anxiety of my little ones getting work done and she not only makes me feel better about it all but my little ones as well. It can be scary for small little children and parents and she helped us quite a few times.

Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful experience with this dentist! Even the receptionist was a sweetheart, answering all my questions about the procedure, etc. It took them about 30-40 mins total to do 4 crowns and 2 fillings. Yes, my daughter came out slightly upset, but was telling me she got to choose a movie and they were talking her through the whole thing! Even the dental assistants were amazing at telling my 5 year old daughter exactly what they were doing, even the scary bits just in a way she could understand! They have two therapy dogs there as well for support. Toy options for your little one to stay distracted whilst talking to the doctor! Overall, amazing experience hands down!

Fantastic experience: They were absolutely amazing. I have taken my child to seven different dentist in the past year and none of them have been able to even examine him. A lot would call him difficult. He’s nonverbal with sensory issues. Although I did have to help hold his hands they were extremely patient with him. Never made me feel that they were annoyed with him. They talked to him like a person and not just either only at me or belittling him like my past dental experiences. Everyone from the person I talked to on the phone, to the people at the front desk, to assistants, to the dentist were- I can not fully express my gratitude toward them. My only regret is not finding them sooner. I would highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: They’re very skilled at making sure your littles enjoy the dentist! Always impressed with how fast they work, too. We travel to come here when we could probably have her a local general dentist now.

Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful first experience. The appointment began in a timely manner and they were able to complete the fillings the same day. It was a far drive for us so this was great. Also all of the people there are very welcoming and sweet.
