Negative experience: Very overpriced and my doctor was very aggressive with fillings. I now need a root canal because he went to deep when filling a cavity. They wanted to charge me for a crown that should be covered by my insurance. A to Z dental is taking my insurance to cover all my crowns just in case anyone else is in need of any

Negative experience: I really want to give them more stars. Expect a VERY long wait time every time. Currently been waiting 1 hr and the only thing that has got done was a cleaning. At least have the courtesy to let us know youre running late.

Positive experience: Damn good work but I believe the dentist is overworked. 45 minutes to an hour and a half wait. I just hoped he's compensated properly.

Negative experience: We were referred to Bedford Dental by another dental office that did not provide braces. I explained to the front office staff when we made the appointment, that we were new patients and that my daughter was only interested in braces consultation. They scheduled us for a Saturday. When we got there they said they hadn’t had a chance to verify our insurance and would not be able to see us that day. Why would you schedule someone on a Saturday knowing you couldn’t verify insurance on the weekend?? We said fine and reiterated that we needed an orthodontist consult. They assured us that we could consult the orthodontist on our next appointment. We arrive the second time, go through all the motions of X-rays and whatever only to be told that the orthodontist only practiced certain days of the week but was not there on that particular day, and there was almost a month wait. The dental assistant and dentist herself were rude and aggressive as well as the lady who was supposed to “explain” the charges. Idk if she was new or what but it seemed liked she didn’t have clarity on how the billing system works and kept showing pictures of teeth to explain it. The whole experience was unpleasant and felt like a money grab. I will never spend another dime with them or recommend them. Frankly, I’m upset that they will even get money for the X-rays and cleaning from that visit. I highly recommend just going to Cicero Dental on 96th Pulaski.

Negative experience: I’m extremely frustrated with Bedford Dental and feel compelled to share my experiences. Most recently, I had an appointment scheduled for my son, which I had requested time off from work in advance to attend. Less than 24 hours before the appointment, I received a call stating the dentist wouldn’t be there—because she “doesn’t work Wednesdays.” When I asked why the appointment was even scheduled for that day, they claimed they didn’t have the dentist’s July schedule when the appointment was made weeks ago. However, they admitted they received the schedule at the beginning of July—which gave them multiple opportunities (All of July!) to call and reschedule, but they waited until the last minute. I asked if another dentist could treat my son, and they said no. On top of that, my son has braces and I had already gone through the hassle of getting his wire removed just for this visit—only to be told a new consultation is needed and the original treatment plan may not even be followed. Completely unprofessional! This isn’t our only bad experience with Bedford Dental. I brought my elderly mother in months ago for a partial. She paid cash upfront. They forgot to send out the impression, and only after I called weeks later did they said they needed a re-scan. After more waiting and more calls from us (not them), we were told the dental lab was to blame. But I personally know someone at that lab who checked into it and confirmed Bedford Dental sent it late. When we were finally called in for the try-in, we arrived only to be told it wasn’t there. I had to push them to actually check—turns out it was there, but they never entered it into the system. I’ve worked in the dental field for over 10 years. This level of miscommunication, disorganization, and disregard for patients’ time is unacceptable. It should not take months for something as routine as a partial. I should’ve left a review sooner, but this latest incident was the last straw.

Dr. Dima is very observant, she never rushes or is in a hurry, and she always provides with the best solutions or treatments. She is amazing.

Negative experience: Extremely unprofessional, had me waiting two hours for a scheduled appointment, receptionists were unhelpful and dishonest about wait times, Not to mention tried to charge me $300 for a scan that was free when I had it done a year prior. The whole experience was terrible and did not provide me any relief, don’t go here. Edit- they have responded and tried to make it seem as though I am confused about the different scans. I am not, it is in my chart I had a panoramic scan before and I have pictures saved of my x rays from the exam. They harass my phone to schedule an appointment and are clearly trying to squeeze money out of people any way they can.

Fantastic experience: I went to get two wisdom teeth extracted and Dr. Ayman Zaki was AMAZING with my care. I am TERRIFIED of the dentist and he was so calm and made sure to keep me talking and reassured me that I was fine although I know I took up most of his day he did not mind one bit. He took his time and explained everything to me more than once. I promise you if you go here and see Dr. Zaki you would not regret it! Thank you so much Dr. Zaki for being an amazing dentist!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Zaki and staff, THANK YOU! Called at 4 with an emergency with a teenager with 2 chipped front teeth. We are home with temporary fixes for now and feel much better. Fantastic experience: My experience is based on atmosphere as well as talking with the dentist. I didn't receive service today but I will be coming back, I like the atmosphere, the politeness of the staff and there caring and friendly attitude. I forgot all the positive reviews. I was at Bedford dental 2/27 for a deep cleaning and a extraction. I was very nervous and anxious. I saw Dr Zaki he was very professional and caring. He explained my situation in detail and after he cleaned my teeth which was painless I calmed down and had my tooth extracted which was also painless. I am glad I chose Bedford dental. Love your directness Dr Zaki, service was great as usual. Service was exceptional Dr Zaki does a great job I have periodontal disease and when I first went to him my gums were bleeding they have not bled in 2 Years and I am grateful to him. March 25th 2025 There is only one word that describes Dr Zaki. AWESOME!!!

Negative experience: Just left after taking my mom and honestly had one of the rudest encounters with a dentist to date. If you go here make sure you schedule with Dr. Zaki or anyone other than Dr. Dima. We brought our elderly mother here to see what to do about pain in one of her bridges and looking for medically trained advice, so why is it after Dr. Dima examines her teeth she looks at my sister and I and goes "what do you want me to do?". Like what do you mean? Your job? Do you need an explanation for how that works? Instead of being helpful and informative with recommendations she just gave us her unprovoked unprofessional attitude right off the bat. It wasn't until we told her our mother had cancer that she wanted to show a tad change of attitude and help. And then when it came to the referrals when we said she couldn't take ibuprofen because of her medical conditions and already being on a blood thinner, she seems to get upset and balls up the referral? When I visited for myself with Dr. Zaki it was a totally opposite experience and was pleasant but Dr. Dima really brings the place down.

Negative experience: You come at your respective appointment time. You are seen 40 minutes later. Common courtesy would be to communicate to your patients we are running for such and such reason. Instead you are sitting duck unless you get up and remind them your appointment was 40 minutes ago. Two minutes later you are put in a room. I understand things can happen but what be less frustrating to patients would be if your staff communicates if there is a delay.

Fantastic experience: So far the best dentist office I’ve been too the dr and staff are very friendly and courteous, they make me feel relaxed I’ve been coming here for the last 2 years and they always let me know when my future appointments are coming up email or texting me thank you Bedford Dental and braces.

Negative experience: My son was seen here for abnormal gum growth so the doctor recommended removing the baby tooth above it. As a family dental office, you’d assume they know a six year old wouldn’t widthstand the pain of injected anesthesia. But they pushed the issue and as a result my child was in agony the whole day and may have become traumatized just like many other cases. I don’t recommend this office at all as all they care about is billing the insurance company instead of recommending referral alternatives for anesthesia, just because they don’t offer them there.

Fr Front desk staff they are OK well I didn’t like was that when I pay my bill she said that it did not go through so I actually had to pay again when I called my bank. They said the first payment actually did go through so that I didn’t like, so I paid double and had to go to my bank

Positive experience: Love Dr. Rhana! She is a wizard. It was my son's first dental procedure. He has a very bad cavity which required a baby root canal. I was terrified for him but he was a brave little soldier that took us all by surprise. He just laud still the entire time and asked if he can sleep. This goes to show how well Dr. Rhana timed and measured the anesthetic. He felt no pain at all. He returned to school the next day without any need for pain relievers at all. I gave it 4 stars because the dental tech greeted us already adorned in a gown and mask that has been worn between previous patients because I watched this happen as I waited for us to be called. I kindly asked her to change both before beginning our visit. She seemed shocked but agreed to do it without an issue. I did appreciate her response i stead of arguing with me. I worked in the medical field (nursing) and know in fact that this is against Osha laws and not within proper PPE guidelines.This can transmit disease beteen patients. Sadly, this is not the first time I have seen this in the dental offices that accept medicaid. Most people do not rralize the risk in this so staff is never corrected. This needs to stop! I am shocked and especially after Covid that this is not taken seriously in dental offices. She did do as I adked and changed all PPE and the rest of the visit was perfect! We will return again!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Dima Abuhamda bedside manner, care, patience and indepth explanation of dental care needed is beyond exceptional. I usually see Dr. Karen Murphy-Opferman who I believe is the best dentist in America, but I have come to believe that Dr. Dima Abuhamda is just as good.

Fantastic experience: Coming from someone with a child who is frightened of dentist, my child asks when we are going to go visit Dr. Zaki quite often. Dr. Zaki is such an amazing dentist for children and adults. He is very knowledgeable and very comforting. His personality is very welcoming, funny and over all amazing, you can’t help but be happy around him - you will definitely walk out of the office with the biggest smile on your face. The front desk and dental assistants are also very kind and welcoming.

Negative experience: I would never step foot in this place again first and last time. I was suppose to gotten a check up and cleaning however l was in the chair for 2mins LITERALLY. The longest part was waiting on the dentist to come in. If you go here do NOT get the woman dentist she’s lazy and do not want to work. Billed my insurance for something l did not get.

Fantastic experience: I never leave Google reviews but Dr. Zaki is seriously the best dentist my husband and I’ve ever been to. I’ve been seeing Dr. Zaki for over two years now for my Invisalign and regular dental cleanings and he goes above and beyond to make sure I have my perfect smile. He genuinely cares about his patients, and is so thorough with his explanations when you have any questions. On top of that, all the ladies that work there are seriously so sweet every single time and never fail and to greet you and make you feel like a valued customer. Overall, hands down a great experience every time and I always highly recommend my friends and family to come here cause Dr. Zaki and the team are that great!

Long wait time, hour or so!, just to be told I have to pay out of pocket thousands of dollars, also didn't see the doctor I booked with someone else came to tell me about 4k & more for services remind you im in the middle of paying 3k from last time I was here. Fantastic experience: I came to get my wisdom tooth checked and the consultation with Dr. Zaki was one my best interactions with a doctor. He slowly explained everything, made sure I was relaxed but also involved in managing my treatment. I travel close to an hour from north-west Chicago, and it’s absolutely worth it. Wait times were reasonable and all the staff were nice.

Negative experience: My experience at Bedford Dental went from great to the worst experience ever. The dentist recommended I get a mouthguard. I decided to use Sunbit to partially pay for the mouth guard and the remaining portion I would pay out of pocket. Well, 4 months later I never received a call, text, or any other form of communication about the mouth guard. Now, the clinic is giving me the run around about returning the full payment of $297 to Sunni. The staff and management have been giving me the run around for 3 weeks. I am now forced to take legal action and contact Burbanks city complaints dept about the establishment. This is totally unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Zaki is amazing. The reason why I say this is because he was thorough in doing my deep cleaning and very helpful in assisting in preparing me for the deep cleaning appointment. I will keep Beford Dental in mind whenever I need another deep cleaning.

Negative experience: They were nice but I came for a basic service they advised I needed more work done on my mouth that I can’t afford, insurance don’t cover nor did I qualify for a payment plan…. It just seem like it more about the money than the health of my mouth and curing my problems so now I am left to self care and figure out what I can do until I’m able to afford the work I guess…..

It was also my son’s first dental appointment (2 years old) and they did so well to keep him calm and engaged. Negative experience: I had a terrible experience with this dentist. I went there to get a night guard, and they said it would be ready in two weeks. Two weeks go by, and I don't hear anything from them. I call them five times, and they keep giving me the runaround. Finally, I talk to the manager, and she says the delay is because of the shipment company. She promises me I'll have it by July 19th. So, I go back on the 24th, and guess what? They still don't have it! I talk to the manager again, and she denies ever saying it would be ready on the 19th. She basically calls me a liar! While I'm arguing with her, one of her employees comes over and says they found my night guard. I don't know how long they had it, but it's clear that the manager was lying to me

Fantastic experience: I was a new patient with sever oral pain, inflammation, tension in my jaw & headache. Every staff member that I encountered was gentle when speaking and silent when I was speaking (listening). The dentist gave me a full examination, explanation and treatment recommended.

Negative experience: Wait time was terrible. Sat in waiting room for over an hour past my appointment time. Doctor tried to tell me I needed so much unnecessary work, and quoted me $8,000 to complete the work. I was only there for a routine cleaning. They tried to do fillings to “fill gaps between my teeth” but the gaps were there purposely because I was in the middle of Invisalign treatment. Tried to get me to get molds for a $700 night guard which wouldn’t make any sense since I was still in the process of Invisalign and my teeth were shifting. That would have been a complete waste. Biggest issue is I called multiple times before appointment to confirm my insurance was accepted and I was told it was. When they quoted me the $8,000 worth of work at the appointment they told me my insurance wasn’t accepted and I would have to cover cost out of pocket. I informed them I still wanted a cleaning which they told me they would give me a discount and my total would be $101.95, the cleaning was terrible. The dentist took less than 5 minutes doing the cleaning and was done. I paid the $101.95 and left, this was on May 1,2024. On May 8,2024 I get notification from my insurance for a claim from this dental office that was approved and paid in full for my cleaning. So I call the office and speak to manager Maria who tells me they will issue a refund for the $101.95 I paid out of pocket. She couldn’t explain to me why I was told my insurance wasn’t accepted or why I was charged when insurance approved it. She told me they wouldn’t issue the refund until they received the funds from my insurance which didn’t make any sense because I should have never been charged in the first place. It is now June 25, I never heard back from office or received my refund. I have started a dispute with my bank for the charge which is still on going. I have also reported this place for fraud. They are trumping up charges, falsifying costs and probably a lot more.

Negative experience: They ripped me off. Made me pay 300$ out of pocket for a “3D scan of my jaw” and was not told until minutes before my extraction. They said that my insurance would not cover it and, they would not pull my tooth until I paid 300$ up front.

Negative experience: June 07 2024 I had a horrible experience at this office it started out ok went to have 2 teeth pulled and had a panoramic xray done before was put in a room they didn't check my ins and I found out later that my ins wouldn't cover that xray then when I talked to the Dr he said I needed work done that would cost over $4500 I asked for him to pull the teeth that my ins co would pay for so he gave me novacaine and left me in the chair for over an hour and a half no one checked on me my wife cam into the room after asking the girls at the front desk what was going on they said they were waiting for the novacaine to take effect but for one tooth it was wearing offi went up front and told them I'm leaving they didn't seem to concerned until I told them I'm filling out a complaint with the state dental board I recommend no one patronize this business and would give negative 10 stars if I could horrible place

Negative experience: I went for a cleaning which was not done. They did filling on 3 of my tooth’s but no cleaning. When I realized that I did not get a cleaning, I called. The receptionist said that the dentist a female Dentist had said that she had done the cleaning. I know for a fact that she didn’t because no one Polish my teeth, they only did the filling. I will not be coming back to the establishment. The Will Charge My insurance For Cleaning they did not do.

Fantastic experience: I love this office! The front office staff is always so nice and welcoming. And the clinical team is even better! I love my dentist. Always takes her time and explains everything to me. And the best part is that they all work with you. If it’s an emergency, get you in right away. 5⭐️

Negative experience: This place is a disgrace. I should’ve listened to the bad reviews seriously everything that was mentioned was true about this dentist. They wanted me to pay full out of pocket which was 1,900 so I called my insurance and they said they can pay for one of the services. Why didn’t the dentist tell me this??? I know why because they’re money hungry people. Who tell others nothing but straight lies

Fantastic experience: I had a very pleasant experience, all the employees are very friendly, but those who assisted me were at the front desk, Miss Violet, the assistant, Miss Joana, and Dr. Copelo, all 3 of whom were very friendly and very patient with people, YOU,FEEL CALM AND TRUSTE. * * * * *

Negative experience: Don’t ever come here. The people at the front desk do not take you in on time. 1. I don’t understand why they always lie to you. 2. We arrived on time and only 1 of my children got checked because apparently someone at the front desk told me how both of my children had at appointment at 5pm and when we were on the way they called me and said how my girl has an appointment at 4:30 and my son starts at 5:00 and im not to happy because this place is far away from where I live and they always lie especially the front desk. All they do is apologize. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. Don’t come here!!!?
