Fantastic experience: amazing staff especially Dr. Mohammad Taqvi and his team. He installed two implants for me and did a wonderful job. I have five missing teeth congenitally and the staff were so helpful from billing to the end of the procedure. highly recommend and will be coming back for cleanings.

Negative experience: I made an appointment online for a broken filling, filled out all the new patient forms and insurance info One hour before my appointment the office called and said they would only be able to do X-rays and evaluate because the doctor was so busy, had a full schedule, was only there part time etc. I kept the appointment hoping they could do something temporary. The receptionist could not find the insurance info including photos of my card. Finally said it looks like it’s out of network. They basically all just shrugged their shoulders. So I left.

Fantastic experience: I went in nervous but the staff here are incredibly friendly I think the lady that helped me was named Dana but she was super nice and friendly made me feel a lot less nervous overall I’d say it’s a great dentist spot for anyone

Negative experience: I'm not sure Dr. Cruz was a great addition to this dental practice. Here is my story: Dr. Cruz owned STC Orthodontics I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Dr. Cruz's practice. I paid $7,200 over 18 months for braces treatment and had been a patient for two years when the practice suddenly closed. I received an email on July 30th, 2025 informing me that the office would be closing on August 1st, 2025 - giving patients just one day's notice. This abrupt closure left me stranded with braces still on my teeth and my treatment incomplete. I was forced to seek help from another orthodontist, who quoted me $4,000 to complete the work that Dr. Cruz had started but never finished. The lack of advance notice about the closure and no arrangement for patient care continuation has created a significant financial burden for me. I now have to pay an additional $4,000 on top of the $7,200 I already paid Dr. Cruz, essentially paying twice for the same orthodontic treatment. The sudden abandonment of patients mid-treatment with only one day's notice is unprofessional and has caused both financial hardship and disruption to my dental care, as well as many others.

Fantastic experience: Sat appointments are appreciated. Hygenist was plesant and got every spot - im sure of it! Dr. Moss saw my wife as an emergency one day 8 years ago, and he earned my family of 5 business ever since. I noticed they won an award in 2019, and I'm not suprised. Go here!

Positive experience: Please please please get rid of the sign-in kiosks! I sat here for 20 minues watching people *try* to check in unsuccessfully. Everyone is frustrated. Please don't ask our elders to pull up a qr code from their text messages. Please don't ask people to fill out forms in duplicate just because the kiosk needs to be fed. It's not happening! We would all just rather talk to the wonderful humans who already work here and ended up checking everyone in personally anyway.

Positive experience: Staff is friendly, and timely with your appointment time. Office's are tidy , the hygienist Becky was very through and detailed & friendly. The doctors are professional & treat their patients with concern and attention! Also ask if you have questions, we said no, but thanked him. We made our appt for 3 months from today! Positive experience: Generally, I visit the dentist every six months however, on my last visit they could not confirm my Insurance even after I presented my Insurance card. I sincerely hope on my next visit ,that matter will be cleared up. Grove Dental is great I’m not sure I can find a equivalent.

Fantastic experience: Great hygienist and Dr Frenzel is super, very patient and knowledgeable. Some Front desk staff can be discourteous st times and some appear to be rude depending on upon how they ethnically identify a patient. I have been a patient for many many years.

Fantastic experience: I’ve tried A multitude of dentists in the suburbs area, one which I liked OK but dental Grove topped them all so far! When I walked in, I was greeted with a friendly smile, it took nothing for me to be seen so I didn’t have all the extra waiting time and they were quite busy, but when I was finally seeing I was given all the information I needed and confirmation about my teeth. I was given prices on replacements, which also beat the prices I was given at other dentist offices. They sat down. They explained everything to me bit by bit by showing me a x-ray on my mouth and the knowledge was Exceptional I love how the staff engaged into my concerns and this wasn’t a really expensive trip overall I’m really glad that I came To dental Grove

Fantastic experience: Disappointed I was told to go and to the Wheaton office they gave me a card for appointment Wednesday, April 9 at 3 PM. I called before I left there today and they says no it’s for Thursday, April 10 3 PM second mistake. The first one was I called for my meds. Osco said they never got it. yesterday . I called the office. The office says it was sent. I called back Osco. They said they just got the text Time stamped right after I called the office to check so something’s not right at your checkout desk.

Fantastic experience: I've been going here for about 15 years. It's a very clean, beautiful office. The staff, hygienists and dentists have all been very professional and provided great quality service and results. I have recommend this place to others and will continue to do so in the future.

He has helped me navigate endless issues with my teeth, finding solutions I could afford and was happy with. He communicates well and the appointments never feel rushed. Dental techs are also fantastic. 5 stars all around.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Grove Dental now for 50 years. They have obviously done a great job for me since I have been going there since I was 6. Both of my kids have gone there since they were little, now in their 20’s. I am expecting that my grandchildren will go there as well!

It has been great service every since I walked thru the front door. Little bit of a back story Grove dental has been my childhood dentist since I was a kid and I haven't been to a different dentist since. I needed dental care so I've decided to go back "home" (per say). And every since I scheduled my first appointment. Ive received the best ......and I mean the BEST most comfortable services and best care. The dentist who has worked on my teeth is very kind, helpful and very knowledgeable for giving advice for home care and for future treatment moving forward and gives the best service anyone can ask for . She is very down to earth, awesome, chill, experienced and makes me feel very comfortable and relaxed. And So does the ENTIRE staff there. From When you walk in the front door all the way until you walk out, I feel highly taken care of. I have not stop smiling since. . Negative experience: Highly Not Recommended!! I wanted to give a LOWER score if I could. The WORST orthodontic service I have ever had entire life!! I was a new orthodontic patient. Went in for the invisalign aligners, when I first went in they were rushing me to sign a 1-year an ortho contract with them. So I did sign up for the contract. Sure enough, several months (almost 3 months) thereafter, and after making a very HIGH down payment and the 1st month payment, for some reason, they kept delaying my alignment services and pushing my appointments further & further back for UNKNOWN REASONS. GET THIS!, there one incident that they actually changed my appointment WITHOUT my knowledge, and not letting me know I found out on my own by calling to confirm my appointment. My husband and I decided to cancel the contract. The manager over at Bolingbrook location told me that if I did cancel my contract we would lose both of our down payment & the 1st payment even if I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED A SINGLE SERVICE FROM THEM. SO READ MY REVIEW ABOVE, PATIENTS BEWARE!!!

Negative experience: It's the worst dental clinic ever! They will charge you per word and are so unprofessional and stupid that you will ask you how you want to see your crowns. Ridiculous, it's like they all went thru a sales boot camp! Selling potatoes on the side of the street! As soon as I switched dental offices, the new doctor almost started laughing at how big my Grove dental crowns were, and the color and all the jobs they did were criticized by my new doctor! No wonder they have so many bad reviews! Read the reviews, people. They matter when it comes taking care of your mouth!

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at the Grove Dental Bolingbrook location for 20 plus years. My dentist retired and Dr Timothy Moss has been my dentist for over 15 years. I have upper & lower partials that are literally anchored by my few remaining natural teeth. Dr Moss is very knowledgeable, experienced, engaging and patience. He is quick to identify & fix dental problems. I am extremely grateful for his commitment to provide quality dental care, including a special focus to save the teeth that anchor my partials. I truly appreciate Dr Moss, his assistants & coordinator, hygienist and other team members who are considerate and caring professionals.

Negative experience: It was horrible. The experience has been declining for years and I should know since I’ve been coming to Grove for over 15 years. First I arrived and no one was at the front desk when they did show up they made me wait while they attended to something else. Then I was refused my scheduled teeth cleaning because the young lady did not want to go and speak to the dentist about my pre medicating even though she had perviously stated she was going to speak with dentist and very rudely escorted me out. They have become less professional and non responsive to patients and their needs.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I have been patients of Grove Dental for many years, since the early 1980’s. We would never consider going anywhere else for our dental care as we know we have the best care at Grove Dental and have always been pleased with their professionalism. The staff is always very accommodating and caring. We are very blessed and thankful for this opportunity.

Positive experience: The hygienist did an awesome job. She explained everything and was very thorough. I wish the prices were lower as a seniors on a fixed pension it gets harder to afford regular care. I did appreciate the care the hygienist gave my husband for his cleaning as he has dementia.

Negative experience: I was my appointment was at 12:20. I went to my appointment during my lunch and was told by the office that my appointment was not until 1 very disappointing.

Fantastic experience: It was my son’s first time at the dentist. I was nervous because I was unsure how he would react. Ms Gina the hygienist made him feel SOO comfortable, she explained everything, showed him how things worked and what she was going to do before she did it! He did amazing and it was because of her patience! He actually cried when we left because the didn’t want to leave. It was so clean and I’m so glad I chose to bring him there!

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough nice things about Grove Dental, specifically, Dr. Taqvi! My son (7), who has needed some major dental work, had a traumatic experience at our former dentist. Dr. Taqvi and his team made my son feel incredibly calm, reassured, and his procedure took no time, he experienced very little pain, and he was done before he knew it. Dr. T and team were playful and fun with my son leading up to his procedure and helped put his mind at ease. My son said “anytime I need a tooth pulled, I’m going to THAT doctor:)” Thank you Dr. Taqvi and team for your care of my son, and for making this momma feel relieved!

Negative experience: I have to modify my original 5 star review and bring it down to 2 stars, sadly to say because the receptionist checking me out on my second visit was so rude and purposely nasty to me, and I'm taking it personal because they were very nice to another customer, but made sure I felt not welcomed. Let me clarify other staff is great, but I'm regretting being a patient because of a receptionist with a personal problem. I won't be returning and am cancelling me and my son's future appointments. It's ashame for businesses that unprofessional/rude staff will run your customers away and revenue away.

It’s been a bit of time from seeing any dentist because I didn’t have insurance but I do know and am happy to be back. Fantastic experience: I had my 6yrs old son two teeth taken out. He was in alot of pain the night before. We had Dr. Taqvi, worked on my son's teeth. He was super friendly and kind, I was surprised the way he took out my son's teeth without feeling any pain. He was very professional and explained everything step by step and he made sure my son was not in any pain. After couple of hours when we left the office, Dr. Taqvi gave us a call to check up on our son and told us if you guys need anything please feel free to contact him anytime. We were super happy with the end result. We can't wait for our next appointment with Dr. Taqvi, when needed.

Negative experience: For over 15 years my entire family have been patients of Grove Dental -Bolingbrook. We live over 25 miles away, but we went back because of the great doctors and good customer service, UNTIL TODAY. My husband went for his six month check up, but was turned away because in their words “they were not familiar” with our new insurance. The day prior I asked our insurance company if it was ok to go to our dentist, they said yes, show the card and they can call us if they have any questions regarding coverage for services. Well the Grove Dental staff did the very opposite. They told my husband to call and verify. He informed them I did and said everything our representative stated. Well they said they didn’t have time to do that and he had to reschedule. He also asked for a manger, they said no one was available to speak with him. Why is that if you don’t have a well known insurance company you’re treated like a second class citizen and as if you don’t even have insurance? Well it’s so unfortunate that we are probably not the only ones that this happens to. We will now look for somewhere else to go, that will value our business, because it is clear Grove Dental Bolingbrook does not.

Fantastic experience: One of the best dental experiences you could ask for with Dr moss! He’s always making sure I’m comfortable and very informative about what’s needing to be done. While Mandy always makes sure to help out with all my insurance and finance concerns keeping any work needed to be done in my budget

Fantastic experience: First you walk into this office and get checked in at the front desk with a friendly smile, then you’re escorted to where your needs will be met. Everything from start to finish is friendly and professional. Doctor Moss and his team deserves a high five. It’s hard to trust others opinions but I continue to be impressed and grateful to this team of experts. I feel blessed to have found such a great team.

Negative experience: I’m extremely disappointed with Grove Dental Bolingbrook. I scheduled my appointment through Marilyn at the call center, but upon arrival, the front desk was unaware of the appointment and blamed their colleague for the oversight. I was asked to wait for an hour. After receiving an unexpectedly high quote from Mandy, I reached out to Mynt Dental, which informed me of a significant price difference. I’m glad I called and want to caution others about the predatory pricing, lack of accountability, and disregard for customers' time. I’ve been told the manager will contact me Monday, but given today’s experience, I’m not optimistic about a satisfactory resolution. I hope this was an isolated incident, and I will be treated with the respect I deserve moving forward. I’ll update my review accordingly.

Negative experience: I highly discourage using Grove Dental Bolingbrook for orthodontics. Staffing is short and inconsistent. They do not return your calls and the orthodontist has almost no availability in Bolingbrook with days split between multiple offices. They are very quick to accept new patients, discuss financials and collect your money but have no capacity to return calls about clinical questions or availability to for you in when needed. They are currently well beyond capacity as my son is being treated and have been in the same boat for at least 2 years since I had Invisalign. The pricing is outrageous compared to many. My family has an incredibly busy schedule. We live only 5 minutes away. I whole heartedly regret my decision. The “convenience” has only resulted in frustration and hassle. Get at least 3 opinions and quotes before you proceed.

Negative experience: Experience today was great. But I'm still very mad, because this year my appointment was canceled twice and rescheduled 4 months from that day. been canceled again and rescheduled again. I think that's something that you guys need to work on. If you cancel my appointment, get me there within a week. Not reschedule me for 4 months and then cancel me again. So you can reschedule me again for 4 months to wait.......

Positive experience: Dr. Tim Moss at the Bolingbrook office is very thorough & friendly. I just had a crown put on. No problems. I've been a patient at Grove Dental for about 6 or 7 years. It's close to home & feel confident in their work.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Smith oral surgeon is the best!! He’s very gentle and tells you what is going on when pulling teeth. He’s caring and so is his staff and nurses. Been a couple times for teeth pulling and highly recommend Dr. Smith. He makes sure you’re numb and don’t hurt before doing any pulling. Highly highly recommend!!

Negative experience: They supposedly schedule my next appointment for the whole family at the same time. We got the email reminder and they apparently did not bother confirming the times because my wife and I have our appointment 3 hours before the kids.

Didn’t have to do the scheduled procedure, hold up, not having to do the procedure even though I was here close to an hour and made it ano charge visit. And my issue is resolved. He’s a tribute to the profession.

I will say, maybe it was an off day, maybe it was busy? I don’t know, but I want to give them the benefit of the doubt. However, the tech kept forgetting how to do stuff, almost shoved the suction down my throat, and moved very slow (again I’m not expecting speedy service and I get things happen but this was so slow). To top it off, the didn’t do a thorough job of cleaning my teeth or flossing them, which again I’m not expecting perfection, but it was getting to the point I thought it all had to be a joke. I’m going to give them another try because I understand things happen, but wanted to share my experience since I chose this place off of the raving reviews.

Fantastic experience: Came in on 9/26/24 for a cleaning and check up since I failed to meet appointments the past couple years,covid and economy got the best of a lot of us,anyways.... Grove got me caught up quickly and I'm back on track now,they're great even if you miss some time with them. Now for the more important stuff... The best part about them is their care. They're sooo compassionate, I've been going here for about 25years. A few years back my primary care left the clinic and I was a tad apprehensive at first about staying there. I'm sure glad I did,my new doc. Is GREAT!!! I now have a new hygienist too who was also hands down great at her job. They really know how to make you comfortable and get you through the work you need done without worry. I for one need that extra attention because of my situation,so if you've got issues or am contemplating a clinic and are looking at grove,I highly recommend them. Btw,I never leave reviews but on super rare occasion. ... The fact I came on here and left one is quite the testament on their behalf. Good luck!

Fantastic experience: THE BEST DENTAL EXPERIENCE IN BOLINGBROOK!! Hands down! The Hygienist Ledi was amazing! She’s very personable, made me feel extremely comfortable and had me laughing the entire time during my cleaning. If you’re looking for a dental office, I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Today was a routine 6 month cleaning and X-rays. Have been seeing Lidi with Dr Frenzel for some time, and very happy here. All staff very friendly and accommodating. The office does keep a wait list in case you want to come in sooner. Yesterday they called and I was able to get in 2 weeks sooner. Much appreciated! Thanks !
