Fantastic experience: As a new resident in Boiling Springs a few weeks I am very impressed with the speed and quality care at ProGrin and Dr. Bear who completely redid crown work from a student of dentistry in my former town who was the only one available for emergencies after a hurricane hit in the area. Also, ProGrin in Boiling Springs SC displays beautiful photography artwork of nature scenes in our national parks of the US, I am an artist myself and many of these framings are places I have camped or hiked or kayaked. I recommend ProGrin for the special comforts and skilled quality care provided that put any patient at ease for urgent dental care or routine care. Enjoy!

Fantastic experience: I found the staff to be friendly and professional. I’m so thankful they found a way to get me in quick! I was having sensitivity to hot and cold. I went in thinking I had a cavity. After examinations they found it was a certain nerve aggravated by sinuses. I had never heard of such a thing. ♀️

Fantastic experience: I was very nervous going in for a cleaning today. I made my hygienist aware how nervous I was and what my concerns were. She was very, very gentle and was very informative! She was able to explain things to me and even offer additional information about my teeth and gums. I don’t think I’ve ever had such an amazing clean in my life! I highly recommend. Every single person was nice and welcoming. I can’t remember what the dentist name was but he also was very helpful and super nice! I can’t say enough! 10/10!!!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient here for about 8 months and I can not reccomend them enough. The staff is friendly and warm from the front desk to the hygienists to the doctors. The office is clean and pleasant and the amenities really make me feel at ease and appreciated.

Fantastic experience: My first visit and I was very impressed with facility and staff. One issue...when you need a restroom in a new environment, you need to know where ALL available restrooms are located incase the first location is occupied. If the other restrooms aren't in the same physical area, post signage indicating next nearest location... Return visit on Wednesday, February 24 for chipped tooth repair.Great experience and repair done quickly, with no discomfort. Note. I was not able to post my review via my android phone, so I copied the link onto my desktop computer and edited this posting from my initial visit. Please investigate why I was unable to follow the review link sent to my Samsung Galaxy S21+ 5g smartphone. Other than the text linkage problem, my experience at Boiling Springs PROGrin was over the top. Return visit January 31st. 2023 for routine cleaning and checkup. Great experience and seeing all the parents there with their children indicates a level of confidence and trust with the ProGrin staff. The facility is spacious and the waiting area comfortable, not your normal dentist office; plus you see familiar faces, often an indication of a great work environment. Last visit was a root canal which was very successful and with minimum residual soreness. Also the dental assistant was very thorough in researching my insurance coverage in advance. My dentist Dr. Harry is moving to Colorado soon. Hate to see him leave but Colorado is getting a great dentist. My hope is that he will think of us back in the Carolinas when he is shoveling two feet of snow from his driveway.

Fantastic experience: This place is so amazing I have always been sacred to do to a dentist because my younger self not taking care of my teeth but they didn’t mind they helped me get through. They do more than just be a dentist ! For example they give u free things and neck pillow, leg pillow and thing to help with the wait 100% Recommend

Fantastic experience: Drs Ayer’s and Hensly and team are top drawer professionals. Due to complex medical issues they had to give me IV sedation. Could not have gone better z! dr Ayers contacted me over the weekend to make sure I was ok

Fantastic experience: Another great checkup/cleaning at ProGrin. I was taken back for my cleaning slightly lmearlier than my appointment time. The hygenist explained that today would be a cleaning and unless she saw anything out of the ordinary, there was no need for a dentist exam as I had already had 2 for the year. The cleaning was quick, painless, and efficient and I was on my way back to work in no time.

Negative experience: There is know better place to go. My implants and came out great, they tuck the time to make me comfortable with what they were doing to me.

Fantastic experience: Having a crown replacement is not a fun process but the staff especially my dentist did everything they could to make it "painless." I have many dental procedures done in my lifetime, this is the first time I didn't feel the "pinch" of the needle. My dentist "perfectionist" attitude goes without recognizing him. Fantastic experience: I had not been to ProGrin for some time. Everyone there are very friendly and pleasant. I have to say I was very upset with the price of fixing my tooth. I do have their insurance plan, I thought it was insane to charge over $300.00. No novacane used, no drilling, and five minutes to fix. So much for comfort care, never received a warm blanket. My receipt for payment has not been emailed to me nor ha I received my gift card for being referred. Gina Bishop

Fantastic experience: Stephanie was amazing and she discovered that I wasn't born without 2 of my teeth. And I have been with this dentist awhile and no one told me that. I appreciate her for looking into this and being attentive to my needs and concerns. Stephanie also went the extra miles to do several xrays etc. She was amazing and comforting to me. The Doctor that came was very nice and attentive to my needs as well. So kudos to Progrin for having amazing people working there even down to the young lady that breaks down your dental plans she was super nice an encouraging! All of you give yourself a pat on the back for a great place to be working and working with wonderful people. My visit getting my teeth pulled was amazing as well the people was very understanding to me being nervous and attentive to my needs. The Dentist and his assistant was top notch! Them working together is a perfect team and very gentle and quick with their work! The Doctor is very compassionate with what he does and I love that and let me not leave out his assistant she as well love what they do!!!! Sorry that I can't remember the names as I was so nervous I forgot but look back in my chart and get their names and give them a big shout out!!!!! Love this place

Fantastic experience: First Dentist in SC I have been to, and this place does an excellent job in ensuring their patients are comfortable, while explaining everything to make sure you have a clear picture of what you may need done. It is very clean, and all of the staff members are happy to help you with the process. They break down costs, and offer plans to help you pay for the costs in house and all in all is a dentist I would highly recommend to anyone searching for a new dental experience!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Bear caught what 2 other doctors missed. Exam was thorough with a clear treatment plan and estimate. I'm sure services will cost more here, but confident it will be done right the first time. Facility is nice with modern equipment. Staff was friendly and appeared to be happy to work there.

Fantastic experience: Great joint! They managed to get me in the same day, like an hour after walking in. (May not be the case for everyone) that surprised me. Had a broken tooth so I needed a crown. All done in a couple hours. All very professional and very accommodating surrounding my anxieties/fears. The price stung but whatyagonnado? Would recommend.

Negative experience: Worst experience. Got my wisdom teeth out (which they stated ever so clearly was covered by insurance and I was also a minor at the time mind you) and they pop out two years later with a “overdue bill” of 1k. Said they “got a new system and things changed”. Said they would pay half if I paid the other half. What does that sound like to you? Bunch of money hungry individuals that’ll take every cent you have just because they can. Told me “we can’t book another appointment until the balance is paid for” bye you aren’t getting my 1,000 dollars nor any other visits from me

I would like to thank Dr. Behr, along with Dental Tecnicians Makayla, Megan and the other two Dental Technicians that worked on my teeth for creating and fitting my denture and partial. They all did an excellent job. I would also like to thank Wendy, the Dental Hygienist that cleaned my teeth. The front desk employees were attentive and kind. Negative experience: Despite our best efforts to have our records reflect it as well as instructing office staff to follow our instruction, this office on several occasions has used fluoride products on our children. And most recently, tried to brush it off as a non-issue when they screwed up. You will be on the wrong side of history in the debate about the safety of fluoride, mark my words.

My son is at that awkward stage where he barely talks and is super uncomfortable in most public settings, but she always goes above and beyond for him to make him feel at ease! She also does such a good job at cleaning his teeth and helping him improve his at home care, as today was another visit with 0 cavities(even in braces) We definitely love her

Negative experience: Even though place clean and very organized, I don’t think they client oriented. I can understand that doctors pay money to go to college but 1000$ an hour is a total rip off ! My case was front bottom tooth filling fell off and all I needed to back fill it. Literally minimum material that is not super expensive and no anesthesia of any kind was done and necessary. All procedure including an X-ray took about 30 min. In and out. And yet - $480 bill. With no insurance which they really trying to sell you. She gave me that price before the procedure. Not knowing what will be used. Just a standard price. I had doctor back in California, and 1 year ago he charged $300 (which I feel more fair) for this kind of procedure that he done to my family member with local anesthesia. California - with its way higher costs and expenses. Anyway. I respect my earned money and understand business very well. But you have to manage your business better and work with every case individually. I put 1 star to bring public awareness. But on some other criteria, it’s not too bad. Price is what really disappoints me.

Fantastic experience: I love and appreciate the ProGrin/Igrin dental offices and the entire staff! I have since referred my mother and I also have taken my young child to Igrin as well. We love how nice and clean the building is. The staff are all incredibly nice and offer such great amenities, kindness, and hospitality. They go above and beyond with care and generousity. My mom and I particularly love seeing Wendy Night ❤️✨️ for our appointments. She is thorough and caring, she listens. Also, my son and I are so grateful for Miss. Kassidy, within Igrin (pediatric dental hygiene/care)...We have been treated with immense kindness, care and hospitality from her that was immensely above and beyond. The entirety of these offices really go above and beyond. Aside from all this, it is the only "affordable" dental services, as they offer care packages, payment plans if qualified and they accept my son's health insurance 100%. I have searched many other dental offices in SC and had terrible experiences with outrageous costs and low care, poor bedside manner, at all other dental offices/ experiences *outside of ProGrin/iGrin*... Best staff and the lowest payment packages PLUS they are so high end! They even offer a warm steamed lavender towel at beggining or end of dental cleanings.. nicest wash cloth, to which I own now. As well as even more amenities, it's just a no-brainer! You likely not find any place better in every way. Thankyou ProGrin/Igrin! ✨️

Negative experience: Not happy with their billing practices. Charging for cleaning my teeth when my Advantage Plan covers 2 cleanings a year. They try to justify it because at one point years ago I had periodontal disease. Nothing different about the cleaning than anyone else but they want to change extra. I paid my whole life for insurance. I pay via automatic deduction from my Social Security check (mandatory). I live on a fixed income. Times are tough and life is expensive. Shame on Pro Grin for trying to squeeze extra money out of Seniors.

Negative experience: This office will charge you for random things with zero explanation of what the charges are for. You can call multiple times with no response or call back after leaving many messages. Still no explanation. I absolutely do not mind paying bills that I know I owe and understand what the charges are for, again this is expected. This normally is for yearly x-rays however those had already happened for the year and been paid for at the time of service. They will also cancel your appointment without notice and claim they contacted you to tell you. This has happened to me twice. Do yourself a favor and stay AWAY from this franchised practice.

Fantastic experience: Really nice office. I spent 10 years terrified of the dentist but everyone I’ve encountered here has been super sweet and compassionate. Dr. Levens takes his time to make sure I’m okay during every procedure I’ve had and Chelsey and Meagan have also been great. Can’t recommend them enough!

Fantastic experience: Dr.Harry is such a good dentist. He is extremely gentle and caring. Which means a lot, Because I am a big baby at the dentist. I love the staff. Everyone is so friendly. I also love Dipa who cleans my teeth...♡

Negative experience: Worst experience ever would not recommend and we would not go there again. I called to schedule an appointment with Pro Grin because we noticed a big hole in my daughter’s tooth #3. They couldn’t get us in sooner. So we waited few weeks to get in. They told me upfront it’s going to be $75 for the appointment since she was their patient in kids section. But now she is older she needs to be in adult section and they are giving me discount because of that and that they are going to charge me only $75. When we finally got in assistant and the dentist told us there are not only her very big hole there that they could not treat because she needed a root canal, but also told us about other small cavity on the other tooth without any treatment plan he let us go. When we there at the Endodontics doing her root canal 2 days later we asked them if they were able to do X-ray for that tooth also to double check if she has cavity or not for sure since dentist told us about that cavity 2 days prior without any plan further because of his negligence and only talking about big hole on other tooth. X-ray did show cavity and I called Pro Grin after the root canal to schedule the appointment to do the filling same day since she has braces and we took wires off for the root canal. I told pro grin over the phone the situation and that we were there 2 days before and that the dentist told us about that cavity and that while her wires are out we want to do filling and calling about the filling specifically not the exam. When we came ended up it was an exam not the filling. The problem is nobody told me over the phone that it’s going to be another exam otherwise we won’t even come. They charged us again $110 just to tell us it’s cavity again. Our Endodontics also send his same day X-ray to them for that tooth for them to see. So just to come there to tell us it’s cavity and not treating it we needed to pay $106 even though they did told us 2 days before that there is cavity. Very upsetting of negligence in the first place and than charging us again to tell us the same thing they did 2 days prior. No treatment done. No customer service what so ever. Negligence, bad customer service, not honest, all that I can say about that place. Doing one thing and saying another thing. The only thing they care about is the money, and not for the care of their patients. Will never be coming back UPDATE: The issue was resolved and I want to say a big thank you to office manager Katrina for assessing the situation and taking care of us. They did not take the second exam fee of $106 and a dentist did a great job fixing my daughter’s tooth. Thank you so much and I really appreciate your help in resolving this issue!

Fantastic experience: I got my tooth extracted here after a long back and forth with my other dentist. I was able to get an extraction about 3 days after going in for an exam. Dr Henley, dental assistant Olga along with one other did me absolutely well!

Fantastic experience: Big shoutout to DR Harry and his assistant Hanna with filling some cavities. They were really fast and worked well together to get it done fast and properly. They both made sure I was comfortable during the whole process and everything. Definitely will be requesting them next time.
