Fantastic experience: Robinson Dental in Wayland is a great place to go they have a great staff

Positive experience: The office staff and providers are very friendly and outgoing. However, I felt the hygienist rushed the polishing portion of my appointment and my teeth still feel like there is tartar on several of my teeth especially the back of my bottom front teeth. I disappointed because I received excellent care at my previous appointment.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Karin and Diana Morales were very polite and genital they made sure that I felt no pain and as for everyone else in the office helped make sure you could afford the payments before doing anything to you. I WOULD highly recommend to anyone!!

Negative experience: They are very nice but a few things are very negative. When I called for my emergency appointment I asked if they take my insurance they said yes. I assumed they would be in network. That day they told me what my total cost would be today at my follow appointment they wanted me to pay over 200 dollar more. I have it written on a paper and signed how much o own after this appointment. Now they telling me it might be even more. I am definitely not going back there. The doctor was very sweet though

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience getting my teeth cleaned today as a new patient at the Wayland office. Tyler did great welcoming me and giving me a tour, and answered any questions I had. Tiffany was my dental hygienist and she did an outstanding job, gentle yet very thorough. I was treated wonderfully, and it was icing on the cake to get a new patient "welcome gift", who doesn't love that? One more thing, I can't help but feel I've been in the "dark ages" for the past 20 years with respect to my previous dentist. Not anymore! I highly recommend making the switch to Robinson Dental. You deserve it. Do it for your smile!

Negative experience: Was made an appointment to fix a tooth. They refused to see or treat me from a past medical condition. Wanting to send me all the way to detroit for a cleaning. I had a heart procedure in 2019 and a past infection 5 years ago. They lied to me. This place has gone down hill and I do not recommend this office at all

My introduction to the facility was amazing! a personal tour soft conversation with the young man put me at ease and his knowledge was professionally displayed when he explained equipment and sterilization of instruments very reassuring that every aspect of my care was being addressed. I highly recommend them. My tooth extraction was smoother than going to the hairdresser lol

Fantastic experience: Switching providers can be very stressful but Robinson Dental made the process easy and smooth. The team worked to get me in quickly as I was having some new pain in a tooth. My issue was addressed the same day. As a medical provider I appreciate their willingness to work with me as a patient and to listen to my concerns. 10/10 recommend.

Fantastic experience: I had my braces put on over a year ago at Robinson Dental. Hailey H is awesome. She’s super funny, always kind, and thoroughly answers any of my questions. We drive over 45 mins to see her, but it’s worth it for the high quality care we get! I highly recommend Hailey and the rest of the Robinson Dental team for your ortho needs.

Fantastic experience: Both routine dental and the orthodontist side of Robinsons have been great. Our favorite side is the orthodontist, thats where my girls get to work with Hailey. Hailey always has a smile on her face, is gentle, informative, quick and relatable. I have two girls in braces one is very outgoing and one is very shy; the way Hailey keeps the atmosphere comfortable is remarkable. Both personalities only want Hailey for different reasons. Taking the stress out of going to the orthodontist is worth the 45min drive. We work our follow up schedule around her schedule because again both girls only want Hailey.

Fantastic experience: Filling came out and Robinson dental was able to get me in the next day and get me taken care of. Jenn L, Jenn P, Elaina, and Dr Pare all did an amazing job.

Positive experience: I'm giving three stars because last year the gas was 35 dollars and no being charged 130 dollars something for gas ‍♀️but Dr Rob has always been an amazing dentist he goes above and beyond to make sure you feel comfortable he's a really great dentist and his dental assistant Sarah Hadley is just as sweet and amazing they get 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and I can't forget about the billing girl Erin is always been so helpful and so so sweet never any problems she great at her job She's the only one that I like to deal with when it comes to billing because for some reason the other lady in there always has a attitude with me

Fantastic experience: I called here around 10am and was able to be seen for an emergency extraction by 11:30am. Jade was the assistant to help me and she was absolutely wonderful. She was able to make me feel more comfortable about my visit and answered the million questions I had. Everyone I seen today has been so great. I wouldn’t recommend any other Dentist office.

Negative experience: Update: After a year of going there my 5 stars dropped to a 0 stars. They try and up sell you on everything even work that they say needs to be done but after speaking to 2 other dentists they said over half of the work “Robinson’s” stated had to be done didn’t have to be done at all. They also up charge your insurance companies for items that are not even being done, I have seen this 1st hand and have spoken to my insurance company about it and they stated it wasn’t the 1st time they have been informed about issues like this.

Fantastic experience: Had my 6 month routine visit for check-up and cleaning yesterday. They got me right in on time. Ashley McCormick, Hygienist, greeted me and proceeded with a Quick xray of jaws, then she did a super job cleaning and examining my mouth. I asked her about a particular crown / post that they had done about 8 years prior. It felt a little loose. She confirmed that there was a potential issue and had the staff take a look right then! They worked on that cap & post and tightened it back up. I'm thankful and pleased that Ashley made me a priority and was able to get support right away for me. I have to drive about 45 minutes to get to this office but they have ALWAYS have taken good care of me in a professional and prompt manner. Thank you Ashley and Dr Rob!

Fantastic experience: This was truly the best place I have ever been to ...I have anxieties and one of my worst fears is going to the dentist ...I had to have a root canal done today ..the Dentist was amazing and her partner was also <3 i felt very comfortable with the way the handle everything..I thought i was on the road to losing my teeth and turns out all my hard work of brushing payed off ..she fixed my broken tooth <3 and I have to get a night gaurd because I grind my teeth from anxieties at night ... .. I wished I would have remembered their names they definitely need to be recognized..and as I am leaving i was greatful for the way they treated me about my financial situation I give this place a 10 ..thank you all for being so kind to me ...I will be recommending Robinson dental..not only a great job done but getting treated like I truly matter ❤️ was refreshing in this world ..so thank you all again

Fantastic experience: As an out of state person I did not have a local dentist. Robinson Dental took me the next day. Treatment was easy and at a good price. Would definitely recommend to anyone

Negative experience: Walked in as a new patient as a 19 year old, was told i had to pay even though i scheduled for a free cleaning and thats it. They continued to tell me i have several cavities, and root canals with little concern on my in growing and painful wisdom teeth. Overall felt uncomfortable and taken advantage off. Even confirmed with other specialists that my root canals were just cavities. Had other problems, I will not be coming back and looking for another dentist, for me and my family.

Negative experience: This office hit me with surprise charges for services not covered by insurance and never disclosed up front, not only to me but to my husband and children as well. They told my child she needed two root canals which a specialist confirmed wasn't needed. When I later tried to book an appointment, I called multiple times over two days during office hours and couldn’t get anyone on the phone. The root canal specialist was also unable to get anyone to pick up the phone when calling to have imaging sent over. When I first called as a new patient, they picked up right away. It feels like they screen calls and prioritize new business over patient care. They add on unnecessary treatments that are not covered by insurance and are recommending procedures that were later determined unnecessary. This is extremely unsettling and I would urge others to exercise serious caution if considering to use their care.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience with Robinson dental. I have a very difficult work/ travel schedule which makes it difficult for appointments and follow ups. I developed an awful teeth infection and they were able to get me in same day, find the problem, pull the teeth and get a care plan in place. Dr. Rob was very educational and took time to explain all my options. Jessica assisted with the procedure and continually made sure I was okay. Both Dr.Rob and Jessica worked through a long process of getting me numb due to the infection. Cheri took time to explain what was going to happen and then took all the pics with gentleness. Jen ( billing) first took time to explain the plan to me then went back over all of it with my husband. Overall the team was amazing and very much appreciated in a very difficult situation! Thank you Robinson! I appreciate you!

Negative experience: I was anxious about going to this dentist due to the fact that my father in law passed while in their care. I needed an appointment very badly and was unaware that this was the exact place that this happened at until the day before. So I gave them a chance. They were not able to do a proper cleaning or pull my wisdom teeth. I was billed in the building and payed my copay of over $100 for just xrays and an exam, to be texted over a month later claiming I owe more money. This place is a rip off and couldnt even handle what i went in for! I would not recommend this dentist to anyone!

Fantastic experience: Dr.Grace and the other two amazing ladies who assisted in my care were the most gracious, kind, compassionate Dental employees I have encountered since having to part with my long time Dentist, and I've been on quite a journey trying to find a new "home." I believe I finally found it. Thank you Robinson Dental. Great dentistry, and superb bedside manner. I HIGHLY recommend. Even the ladies at the desk were extraordinary.

Positive experience: Olivia and Dr Scott were wonderful. Taking there time to explain every step.

Negative experience: They will do unnecessary procedures and x-rays without telling you it's not covered to scam more money out of you. Went one time for a covered cleaning, ended up having to pay over $150 for things they did that were not covered and did not ask if wanted to do. I would not have done any of the things they did if I had been told it was not covered.

I strongly dislike going to the dentist in general, so the fact that they're so endearing and have a great sense of humor makes my visits enjoyable. Dr. Grace is truly exceptional. Her dedication and patience made all the difference in resolving my persistent tooth pain. She took time to listen, didn't make me feel like a burden and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire process. Thanks to her thoughtful care, I’m finally pain-free and can enjoy food again! Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dentist who truly cares.

Fantastic experience: I had a hard time finding an oral surgeon for a tooth removal. After being referred to Robinson Dental they got me in fast, explained what needed to happened, gave me options and got me taken care of! Everyone in their office is great! It’s a 45 minute drive for me and I’m happy to make it when I know I will be treated with the most care!

Negative experience: Robinson dental add on a $67 charge after the fact.. make sure to have the staff double check their math and have them sign and date all bill or they will come back to you for more money

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience here at the Wayland location. My first appointment was probably the longest appointment I've ever been to (2.5hours) but I didn't mind. Diana, Erin, and Dr.Korin were amazing the next morning I called in terrible pain, they had me in with in 2 hours removing the problem. Professional, funny, humble and friendly! I really hope Dr.Korin sticks around I wouldn't mind having my kids under her care by any means!

Negative experience: Money before patient care. Not understanding or caring of anyone in a situation unless you have endless money at your disposal.

Fantastic experience: I am so glad I called Robinsons dentist. I got in within 2 hours and scheduled for extractions just 3 days later. Dr Rob and Jessica made the experience tolerable. They were kind, gentle and caring. I’m so thankful!

Fantastic experience: I had sudden, significant tooth pain arise on a weekend and my dentist I was established with for years wouldn't see me for 3 weeks when i called them on Monday. The assistant blew me off on the phone and wouldn't listen to me. Robinson dental worked me in for the afternoon next day (mind you I made the apt online in the evening). Dr. Rob and his assistant Jessica were amazing and I've never had a more thorough exam. I had cracked a molar all the way to the root, and although he couldn't save the tooth, they took care of pulling the tooth and a temporary bridge was put in place the same day. They explained all my options and let me decide. I have high anxiety at the dentist and they made me feel so relaxed and comfortable. They were very careful in all testing to be sure they didn't cause me further pain than I was already in. I was so impressed with every employee I encountered there from check-in to check-out. Customer service is top notch! The massage chair?! Priceless. Needless to say, I fired my other dentist and have become a patient here moving forward. Even my husband will be transferring. Thank you so much for working me in so quickly as a new patient, and taking such great care of me.

Fantastic experience: Had a filling break apart. Tried for weeks to get in to my current dentist with no luck. Tried Robinson (2nd time); first didn't go so well some years back but today? Awesome! Dr. Vaugn juggled numerous patients and fit me in between. Dental assistant was awesome, fast and very thorough. Note that I'm no stranger to pain but a complete woos for dental work (I've only had cleanings and 2 fillings, so this was a stretch for me, but everyone was very understanding) I have a temp crown and new one next week. This place is really awesome! I'm bringing my family here as well! You can use me for a reference for cyber;; i can help.....

Fantastic experience: I went to Robinson Dental with my girlfriend and was pleased with the service and staff. I schedule my own appointment to address my dental needs. Kendall who was the hygienist that took care of me was very professional, listening to what I needed/wanted to get done. She also gave good advice that has continued to help me at home. I will be continuing to see Kendall during my dental visits.

Negative experience: I would give a Zero if I could!!!! The rudest bunch of receptionist's ever!!! They had my phone number wrong so they called my husband saying I never confirmed my appt and that if we cancel we get charged $50. The receptionist read the phone number on file and it was wrong…. They still charged us for there mistake! Wanted to support a local dentist but obviously all you guys care about is money!! 0/10!!!

Fantastic experience: Robinson dental is exactly how they present themselves on tv. I was told that I didn’t really need a crown just a small cavity filled ( I had bad info from another dentist. ) cost was presented to me before the cavity was filled … no surprises. Fixed it the same day …. Thx to Jack and Dr Grace for taking such good care of me. They take good care of folks here and are very well staffed. Your missing out if you go go elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Was seen at the Wayland location. Super friendly staff and clean facility. I saw Dental Assistant Jessica and Dr. Rob. They were fantastic! They talked to me not at me like some places. They wanted to hear me and my concerns. After the initial exam, Dr. Rob went through what he was seeing and my options. I was then greeted by a very sweet gal to go over the treatment plan to be sure I knew my options and cost. I had a great first experience at Robinson Dental and will be back with my family!

Fantastic experience: This is not your grandma’s dental office! This was the best experience I’ve ever had in my life—-no exaggeration. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I was put at ease almost immediately. The administration personnel, technicians, assistants and dentist treated me with compassion and respect. I was in a great deal of pain and they all moved swiftly to resolve my dental problem. I can’t say enough about this extraordinary dental practice and would recommend it to anyone seeking quality, non-judgmental treatment.

Negative experience: My daughter went in for a routine cleaning and they advised that she would need braces and to get a consultation with the orthodontist. I was surprised because she still had over half her baby teeth left in her mouth and how young she was, but I made the consultation to see what the dentist recommended. Mistake #1. They said she would need something called “phase 1 braces” and after researching, I realized that it was a newer thing than when I was younger and it helped straighten teeth now so when the adult teeth come in there’s a chance of them being straighter. I looked around after receiving my quote and realized it would be more cost effective to stay at Robinson as I’d spend more in gas to go to the other office I had looked into. I paid my part of the braces, and asked 3 separate times about the insurance half, if they covered it, how much they covered, etc. so I would know if I needed to pay more to be prepared. The reception staff all seemed genuinely confused and perplexed by my request. A simple “did my insurance cover the portion I was quoted or will I have to pay more” should not be this difficult. My daughter received her braces in July. I was told it would only be on for 3 months. I went to all the appointments and check ups and pulled her out of school as they only offer ONE day a week for orthodontics. We made the appointment 6 weeks in advance to get her impressions taken one week and the braces removed the next. Go to the impressions appointment, they can’t do the impression because of XYZ. Ok. Put the wire back on and schedule two appointments 6 weeks out. We go to her appointment again, only to be told same thing. Impressions can not be taken due to XYZ. We made two appointments again for 6 weeks out. She had an appointment last week, however she had a temperature of 103 so I called and said I would not be bringing her in as she was sick and I tried to reschedule. Instead of seeing that I had an appointment the following week, they told me it would be two months before they could get me in. But….I have an appointment already for next week for the second half of the service? Can I not just take that appointment? She seemed exasperated but switched the appointment and said I would need to schedule the next appointment when we come in with the tech. Weird as you are the receptionist, but ok. We show up to the appointment. The doctor looks in her mouth and wouldn’t ya guess it….we have to come back in 6 weeks and need to schedule two appointments to get her braces off because “she’s had them on long enough and mom can probably stop paying for them”. Sir, they have already been paid for in full? Both of my previous appointments for molds were set for 4:30. The tech said she had appointments available up until 2, and I said can you find me a date with a 4:30 appointment, I’d really like to not continue to pull my daughter out of school for braces that were supposed to be off in November. She told me they did not schedule appointments past 2:00 and when I told her she scheduled my appointments last week and this week at 4:30, she said “but you didn’t show up for your appointment last week”. Yes, because my daughter had a high fever and I was being considerate and not bringing her around to infect you with her cold. Then the tech started arguing with me (we see her at every single appointment) about how she doesn’t work at that location, she was just helping out and how they are quadruple booked for appointments. That is not my issue. It is not my fault you are only open once a week for orthodontics and have an influx of patients. She just continued arguing with me and then left after yelling at my child. I tried to call and see if I could switch locations because I just want this nightmare to be over, I was told they don’t transfer patients and the other locations only offer orthodontics once a month. WHAT A JOKE. For a company who brags about same day appointments and being concerned for making patients feel welcome, you sure do a bad job.

Negative experience: Don’t recommend, unpleasant experience. Changed an appointment due to illness, charged me a $50 cancellation fee, even though I rescheduled immediately, told me they would take the charge off a future bill, only after arguing with multiple staff members. During the appointment it seemed after I denied the add ons they like to get you to pay for, they seemed less friendly and accommodating. They seem to care more about making money than their patients. Won’t let me choose zero stars.

Fantastic experience: I have really bad anxiety when I go to the dentist for even just a teeth cleaning. But when I stepped foot into Robinson Dental, I felt at home! The front desk staff was so nice and welcoming. My dental hygienist was Rae and she was so sweet and comforting and really made the whole process go smooth! Then I had Dr. Pare and he was super funny and kind. They both explained to me everything and made sure I had no questions! I love it her and this will be my new dentist from now on!

Fantastic experience: Very clean facility and large. Check in was a breeze and staff friendly and helpful. Everything went quickly my hygienist was very friendly. The dentist was even before spot on…friendly and informative.

Fantastic experience: Visited Robinson Dental Wayland today for exam, x-rays, consultation and cleaning. I have not been to the dentist in several years and the hygienist (Tiffany I believe) helped me feel less anxious right away with her calm demeanor and friendliness. I can’t thank her enough! Dr. Rob was also great with his understanding and professionalism. I will definitely recommend Robinson to others. Thanks again.

Fantastic experience: So thankful to Robinson Dental...My son had a horrible Christmas with tooth pain and we just waited for the morning so we could find somewhere to help him! I called the emergency line and he had a appt in a hour and a half(Wayland office). That's pretty amazing to me! We appreciate them understanding how much pain he was in and making room to help him so quickly!

Negative experience: Stay informed with what you are paying for. The people here are great, but costs do not outweigh the benefits any longer. Adult cleaning price: increased by 78.38% from July 2023 to Sept 2024 Fluoride price: Increased by 67.65% in the same period. Periodic Exam: Increased by 24.19% in a 6 month period (March 2024 to Sept 2024). **It was explained to me that the insurance companies set these "standard rates", and then they also determine how much of it they cover, therefore also dictating my out of pocket. (Insurance Companies screwing over their customer.... surprise) Inflation or otherwise, there is no justification to YoY increases of over 50%.

Fantastic experience: Robinson Dental staff immediately put me at ease. I have been going to a dental group in Kalamazoo, but I am much closer to Robinson Dental and i was able to be seen immediately for a broken tooth. They did a thorough job taking X-rays and discussing my options. Dr.Rob put me at ease and helped me to decide which option would be the best for me. Fantastic experience: A wonderful experience. Everyone was very friendly and professional. They set up a treatment plan to take care of all my concerns and was able to get set up future appointments in a decent time frame. Highly recommend!!!

Negative experience: This experience is a disaster. Just awful. First time I went there I heard a gentlemen get very upset about charges. I saw he was a veteran and that was my first alarm. Later, I learned this office puts extra items on your appointment that are optional, and then asks you to pay for them up front. They do not tell you they are option. Then when you challenge the charges, they say you have to talk to the hygienist about it. Some of them just take it off, while others push you to keep them. I've been in sales for many years. I could not imagine taking this type of approach. It is in my opinion unethical. It is unethical because some people do not know to ask if the charges are optional. If they don't, they pay for things in some cases that are not needed. I think of vulnerable adults in this scenario. Thinking back to that veteran, he mentioned having charges go to collections. Now I know what he was talking about. I've moved my family to another office. We're pleased with our experience there so far. So if you want to argue with someone about not getting things you don't need, I recommend going elsewhere. It is unfortunate because some of the staff are nice good people. I hope they get jobs somewhere they can be proud to work.

Fantastic experience: Robinson Dental in Wayland is lit. Dr. Pare is the absolute best the level of care : top tier. Very impressed with the entire staff, the treatment process and most importantly the results. It's been excellent all the way around.
