I am so lucky and glad I have chosen the right Dentistry Clear Lake Dental Robbinsdale with an excellent dentist Swanson and Dental assistant! Thanks all!

Fantastic experience: location (Robbinsdale) My son had his 6 month follow up today for a routine cleaning. We arrived 13 minutes early. It took us 10 seconds to check in and he was called within 1 minute. We were checked in, seen, and rescheduled his next appointment within 30 minutes total! And didn't feel rushed at all!!!

We need more kind helpful people like the staff at Clear Lakes Dental...Thanks so much.. Great place

Negative experience: It is amazing how poor or sick people are punished in this country. I had to cancel my appointment the same day due to my grandpa dying. Then Clear Lakes dental somehow couldn't get my referral sent to the U of M for a crown For months, culminating in another broken temporary crown and I made an appointment out of desperation even though I knew it would be hard to make the appointment. Now, I am in poor people purgatory. No more appointments. I just have to come in, wait for hours on the off chance I might get seen that day. What a joke.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing! I was a walk in and I was seen within 15 minutes of arrival. I had X-rays, had an exam, teeth were cleaned and also had temporary filling until my next appointment. What a great experience. Definitely will keep coming back.

Positive experience: They're Nice But They Don't Fix the right Teeth That needed it more and They can be rough with your mouth But Nice people and Dentists Even though I Still have Teeth Issues and they still haven't fixed My lower back tooth it's Starting to hurt again and The Asian lady is kinda ruff and not very nice

While the practice has a strict no-late policy and firm scheduling rules. it’s all handled professionally and with care. Despite the fast-paced environment, they take time to make you feel seen and heard, it’s easy going. I had an extraction and a cleaning done, and both were smooth and well-managed. You can tell they value both efficiency and patient care. Highly recommend!

They know what the hell they’re doing. They know exactly how to manage any, and all situations pertaining to your teeth. They’ll sit there and explain it to you. If it must. I don’t require gentleness, but everybody was very very gentle and caring. They just don’t want you to be in pain….. When I sat down and expressed my concern for my teeth, I was painting the picture of Me wanting to get rid of all my teeth, and would surprise, Me was, Dr. Matthew told me that he believes in saving the teeth that you were born with all the way into the End And if I’m thinking about just taking it all away. Then this is not the place for that. and it’s shocked Me, because this idea that he brought to me, wasn’t what he was saying. It’s how he said it. That was very clear to the message across the board. I’ll be honest, I thought it was going to be a shitty place because of the walk-ins and then accepting the state insurance, but I got everything but the shitty experience. There was nothing shitty about this place. Excuse my French, but I’m trying to let you know how great this place is by definition…… THAT PART!!!!!

Positive experience: I was literally less than 10 mins late for my appointment...and was removed for checking in at 2:06 for my 2:00 appointment with no consideration that the parking lot was being worked nor that they're on the 3rd floor and its one elevator...I was very disappointed and the only two options I was given was to wait to see if I could be considered a walkin or reschedule....But im happy now because they did get me in after 20 mins for a walkin...other wise the staff is very pleasant....

Negative experience: Had a walk-in appointment once seated all the power went out and had to reschedule for the next day. I was having severe pain also leaving the elevator people where stuck inside fire dept had to rescue them. So I went in the next day was seated but my doctor was seeing me and a kid at the same time ? Ick I thought it was kind of gross that my doctor was going back to back working on the client next to me who was a kid getting a filling and then me in my mouth and I was being told that I had inflamed gums from gingivitis less than 10 minutes. That’s it that’s all nothing for pain … I’ve been complaining that I feel like it is a cavity, but they said they don’t see anything. I’ve been complaining for pain for the past six months and at this point they’re only giving me a rinse. I wasn’t told what to do after the rinse. I had to ask her what do I do if I still feel pain after the rinse ? And feeling pain ? Mind you I’ve been feeling pain for almost 6 months now and now it’s at a level 20 and nothing has been helping my last dental visit with them they told me to put toothpaste on my tooth b4 I went to bed. Lol I feel I’m rushed in and out and my teeth health isn’t taken seriously now I’m told if the rinse doesn’t help (not being told how many days or anything) she will refer a root canal. Go somewhere else

Negative experience: This morning I scheduled an appointment due to an emergency for the Brooklyn park location and it was canceled 30 minutes later due to the dentist having an emergency, so I called and rescheduled for an hour later at this location. When I arrived I was informed that they needed a copy of my x ray or for me to pay out of pocket for one. I am pregnant and just had an xray done yesterday at a surgical center but I can't request a copy of it because they are closed today. They simply would not see me without an x-ray but no one told me that was the case before I arrived in person. I spoke to two people on the phone before hand and no one told me. I could have found an appointment at a different dentist if they had informed me of this but instead they wasted my day and now I have to go to the hospital to get antibiotics because I am pregnant and can't just sit around with an infection. I don't think a pregnant woman should have to get x rays willy nilly just because "its their policy" when an x ray was definitely not needed to see I have swollen gums and need an antibiotic so my unborn baby doesn't get harmed. I walked out in tears without even getting to speak to a dentist. Thanks guys

Fantastic experience: The work that the dentist did for me at Claer Lakes Dental was exceptional. He removed an old filling and replaced it. It was a bit of an emergency due to the pain. After my initial call for an appointment, they scheduled me for the next day. They took X-Rays to determine the problem, and found a slot within an hour to have it resolved. I would say that this dental experience was one of my best.

Negative experience: My insurance company denied the prior authorization because they didn’t submit the required documents in time. There has been no communication from Clear Lake staff.

Fantastic experience: They did a great job. I'm not done but they are friendly and communication was great. Plus it looks good in there... I had a really hard extraction and he was cool and calm and very attentive.(Update) They have a zero minute late and u lose your appt ! It's whatever but y'all be early and u get in right away and they treat you good and are very kind.

Fantastic experience: I'm a senior citizen. Been to the dentist many times in my life. Clear Lakes Dental Robbinsdale is the best dentist office that I have ever been to. They are so good. today I had a broken filling with discomfort that needed immediate attention and I got in right away and everything was taken care of. Thank you for caring so much about what you do and your kindness and care for your patients.

Negative experience: Pretty disappointed with my visit here. They did not explain anything, nor did they address all of the concerns I had. Will not be going back. I asked for an appointment to address some concerns about tooth/gum pain and what I thought looked like a cavity on one of my teeth. They took x rays, and the dentist looked in my mouth for all of 5 seconds, then they gave me a referral for an oral surgeon to get ALL of my wisdom teeth removed "because they're growing in a little wonky". Nobody went over my X-rays with me to discuss the severity of this "wonkiness". I had to ask to even see the x rays. When I asked if I have cavities, I was told that it is hard to tell and I would need to schedule a separate appointment for teeth cleaning. I am uninsured and only had 1 day off of work. Not sure why X-rays and teeth cleaning needs to be 2 separate appointments. I wish they had informed me that they would not be able to address all of my concerns with one appointment so I could have chosen to go elsewhere. I was hopeful about this dentistry because of all the positive reviews, but came away feeling like I'd wasted my day off and wasted my money.

Negative experience: My teeth ache. One fell out. They are less than responsive let alone respectable. They put me on hold, and didn’t tell me. I told them I was in pain. And they still sent me home.we’re having words in the morning

Then, the dentist gave me great options for the work I need done. I don’t like going to the dentist and I was really happy with the care. I will definitely make this my permanent dentist.

Very modern facility and equipment, I've never gotten X-rays right there in the chair before. And they're accepting new patients. Definitely 5 stars

Fantastic experience: Our provider was Michael Abebe, and it was the best dental experience we've had to date. I brought my son in (only 4 years old) and I was very nervous. Michael put both my son and I at ease, talking to him to whole time, explaining each step, and being very attentive to his needs. He got us out in no time, and everything went so wonderfully well. I was amazed that such a young provider had so much patience and mastery, with wonderful bedside manner. I was so impressed and I'm very grateful!

Fantastic experience: Each person I met here is very attentive. Super easy to schedule your appointment. These is a parking lot right outside of the clinic, which is great. They also make sure your insurance covers your service before you make your commitment to anything. Definitely will come back again!
