Fantastic experience: This was my first visit. Checking in was quick and easy. Carey and the Dentist did a great job examining my teeth and gums and their condition. This was followed by Jess the hygienist who did an excellent job cleaning my teeth. I am very happy I made the selection to come to “Todays Dental” in Elkhorn.

Positive experience: The experience at this location is 5 stars. It’s disappointing that blue cross blue shield is no longer in network at this location. It’s hard to justify continuing appointments here for that fact. May have go to different location that is in network for me.

Fantastic experience: I had the BEST experience today at Today's Dental. It was my first appointment. All the staff were very personable and welcoming. The Assisitant, Catherine, who took all my xrays did a phenomenal job! She was such a natural & made the whole process run smoothly & quickly. She even gave me a tour of the office when I 1st got there. She would always ask me if I I was okay, & was very attentive! She did great at explaining every xray she took & why. She was very friendly & made me feel so comfortable. The Hygienist, Jess, did an AMAZING job as well. She explained everything to me about what she was going to do & why she needed too...which was very helpful & put me at ease. Dr. M, who did my exam, was extremely personable & answered all my questions. She made me feel as though she's known me for years, and like I wasn't a 1st time client. I was incredibly impressed with the entire staff & how welcoming they all were! I highly recommend Today's Dental! I couldn't ask for a more AMAZING, professional, & welcoming 1st appointment at a new Dentist office! Today's Dental is definately my new home for all my dental needs!

Fantastic experience: Update 7.24.25: Had my cleaning with Jessica yesterday! I love going to today’s dental and have been a patient for many years now. Highly recommend Today’s Dental and Dr. Molittiere! Update 2.9.24: great dental care and cleaning by Jess! I have never liked going to the dentist but I do enjoy this place. They pay attention to sensitive spots in my teeth making necessary dental care not so bad. Update 7.28.23: Still going here and still love the staff and Dr. Molettiere! Original post: I have needed a crown for more than a year now but hated finding a new dentist. Not only do I dislike pain and the sound of drilling, I very much dislike the cost involved after insurance and the high pressure selling to "enhance my smile." After visiting several dentists, my daughter told me to go see Dr. Molettiere. I am so happy I did. While the cost was still there (let's face it, dental insurance softens the blow, but coverage sucks) - the experience and comfort provided by Dr. Molettiere and her team made the cost a secondary factor. Generally, I have had to have the crown prep and return in two weeks for the permanent crown. Not at Today's Dental, they prepped and made my crown, and I was done. I also have to say that I have had many crowns in my lifetime and I've had to adjust to the feel/bite of a new tooth afterward - again, not this time. I've had no discomfort, and it feels that this crown has been in my mouth since birth - seriously so comfortable. Today's Dental in Elkhorn gets my ultimate compliment - 5 stars!

Marissa even took the time to give me a personal tour of the office, highlighting the latest tools and technology they use. Negative experience: Young dentist that really does not know what they are talking about, specially when they give root canal treatment plan that’s way different from what the root canal specialist recommended, and of course this plan is aimed at making the most amount of money. She recommended that I extract 2 teeth that the root canal specialist found them to be good teeth and was able to save them. Finally, I had an appointment scheduled for over 2 weeks and they reached out to me the same day I scheduled the appointment asking what I was doing and I explained to them, and then a day before the appointment they tell me to either go an hour earlier or they won’t treat me. They even refused to replace the temporary filling unless I agree to replacing the crown. They do not do any treatments there, they sent you to other dentists for root canal, extractions, etc. all they do is place or replace crowns. I really don’t recommend them at all. I’m finding a better dentist and you should.

They’re always warm, welcoming, and professional, it’s clear they truly care about their patients. The consistently positive atmosphere makes every visit a great experience.

Fantastic experience: Today’s Dental in Elkhorn has met all our family’s dental needs since we moved to this area in March 2023. This includes dentures, replacing a filling to bridge replacement. We feel fortunate that Dr Heather Thorson is our dentist along with the rest of the staff. Everyone has been very professional and supportive.

Also, the office staff was very considerate and reliable in my phone, email, and in person connections with them.

Fantastic experience: I think this is my favorite dental office I've been to. The staff are all very calming and gentle so this is a good place if you have anxiety. They don't care if I listen to music while they work on my teeth which is something that helps me. The office is very cleanly. Oh and they take a pretty wide variety of insurances I think.

Fantastic experience: Not only does this office show patience and understanding when I had to repeatedly change my appointment several times, but when I was finally able to actually show up for my appointment they greeted me as though I was the best patient in the place. Over the years I have come to know Dr. M and appreciate her talents as a "no pain" dentist, but also as someone that actually makes being at the dentist office an extremely enjoyable experience. She and the whole staff are dedicated to providing excellent care both in dentistry and the other administrative duties that come with it. I ALWAYS feel as though I've left there having a great visit with a trusted friend. I truly love them and look forward to each visit, it's always a fun experience.

He also has severe anxiety about the dentist and we were welcomed with extremely pleasant staff and doctors! Very thorough and conservative plan that was not overwhelming. Fantastic experience: I forgot my AirPods to listen to music during my cleaning. I have anxiety around the dentist in general and those tend to help. My hygentist was literally a Godsent. She made conversation with me the whole time, asking me about my life and accepting questions about hers. She was SO SWEET and did amazing cleaning my teeth and walking me through everything. She wasn’t aware I didn’t bring my AirPods and I can tell she was someone who genuinely cares about your experience and your care.

I had some gum issues as I hadn’t been to a dentist for over 5 years. In the last 2 years they have greatly improved my dental health.

Negative experience: i was late for my first appointment with them by exactly eight minutes. the receptionist lied and said i was ten minutes late. i showed her my iPhone immediately to prove her wrong. the dentist clinic wanted to charge me twice for teeth whitening. they hadn't even whitened them once. they also wanted to charge me $50 for missing an appointment. i still have the text, and the screenshot saved, from them..clearly stating that my new appointment was set for January 30, 2025 at 3:00pm. they were charging me the $50 absence fee way before mid December. the females answering the phones are aware of them lying to customers. they said i wouldn't need to pay the $50 absentee fee but that i would have to go to another clinic. she knew i caught them in a lie. if they're lying about fifty measly dollars, why would i trust them with my teeth and knowing that they can easily lie about the price. if you're rich like me or just can't stand being around liars, do yourself a favor and find a dentist clinic that will not lie to customers or try to steal their money. i have proof, showing the text from them that i did change my appointment to the 30th of January in 2025. if they would'v been more professional instead of telling lies, i would've gave them four stars after they completed their job. since those people who answer phones always seem to be in an awful attitude and lie about me owing them money.. the one star rating from me is justified. maybe they'll begin to treat all clients with the same respect, hospitality, and set their emotions aside and do what's best for the clients
