Positive experience: They were very responsive to an issue I had with a cracked tooth. Was able to get same day appointment and had tooth removed in preparation for an implant.

I wish I knew my hygienist’s name but I was so impressed by her knowledge, kindness and helpfulness. Because where I had gone prior for 40 years He retired. I had to get Dental surgery. They helped me tremendously with my anxiety of having to start afresh. The smiles, warm atmosphere, and the genuine care, have assured me that this is the Dentistry for me.

Negative experience: I am not the patient but my wife was and after two years of not going there my wife is still paying for their botched services. Dr Macklin took a simple cleaning to a rout canal to an implant. Should have taken them to court over all issues that we have been paying for. I would say 4000 to 5000 dollars that we have paid to fix all the issues. Please be careful going there and in my opinion looking in. It is that they are over booked and under staffed. That leads to major issues for the patient. We did like it but started to notice that is not normal. Sad to see my wife go through this.

Fantastic experience: Konikoff on General Booth is a wonderful office- the staff is warm and caring, the hygienists, techs, and dentists are gentle, skilled, and care about maintaining your teeth. They are conservative in their approach and work to preserve your original teeth as much as possible. I love their dental work and highly recommend them! Everything from mouth guards to customer service is top notch!

Fantastic experience: I went in for a tooth issue, turned out to be a small cavity. Jo-Marie was great- She explained everything really well and the process went very smooth. I’m so used to dentist offices overbooking and having to wait a long time for my name to be called, But I got in fast! And got everything done (x-rays, fillings and payment) rather quickly! Looking forward to coming back in for my cleaning!

Positive experience: Although my dental hygienist was pleasant enough I am not at all a fan of how her procedure goes. I have stated this before and requested that she not be my dental hygienist in the future, I did have a different hygienist for a few appointments but for some reason I was scheduled with her this last appointment. I would like to have another hygienist for my next appointment and please mark my chart so I won't have her again. Again, she was very pleasant but I'm not a fan of how she does things!

Fantastic experience: I have a lot of anxiety regarding dental appointments, to the point of almost having a full on panic attack. Jayda & Dr. Meklin (I’m sorry if I spelled the names wrong) were absolutely AMAZING. I don’t think I’ve ever encountered a sweeter dentist in my life. I’ve been going to Konikoff for the last 8 years between the little neck and lynnhaven offices, I always found their reception/scheduling staff to be a bit curt which made me dread calling them, but everyone at this office was a breath of fresh air.

Positive experience: Joan has been my hygienist for approximately 20 years. Dental patients spend the majority of their time with the hygienist. It is the skill, trust, and confidence in my hygienist Joan that is most important to me. Prior to having Joan as my hygienist, I disliked dental visits. My loyalty as a patient is exclusively due to the expertise of my hygienist Joan. My hygienist has left since my original post , therefore I downgraded my rating.

Fantastic experience: Dr Richard’s and her assistants are superb . They helped me both medically and personally thru a very difficult time in my life.

Negative experience: Expect payment without running through insurance first, even with a known procedure, never pre authorized the procedure with insurance and when I arrived at my scheduled appointment, they wanted payment again without going through insurance. This practice is prolonging the procedure

Fantastic experience: The wait time was about 5 minutes which I consider very good for a dentist office. In this last visit I spent most of my time with the hygienist. She did an excellent job on cleaning my teeth and without any pain.

Fantastic experience: I have used konikoff dentistry for years and then I went to somebody else, which they literally damaged my teeth. Konikoff has fixed the cavities that have now turned into crowns. They were very good with that and then I had 2 teeth in my front that needed to be fixed and they did a wonderful job on those too I highly recommend them. Very nice and they work with you.

This was a follow-up mission with Dr. Ivetta Maclin, DDS and all aspects of her work were absolutely flawless. Fantastic experience: Timely call back to exam room. Staff very friendly upon check-in and informative about bill payment at close of visit. The dental assistant for Dr. Macklin was helpful in proactively letting me know which services that can be combined. My son came out of procedures knowledgeable on his next steps to better hygiene and follow up.

Fantastic experience: I picked up my replacement mouthguard & everything went great. The dental technician fitted my mouthguard & gave me hints for taking care of it. I use mine every night & the previous one lasted close to 5 years as promised.

Fantastic experience: My daughter reported her expectations were exceeded. “They finished filling my tooth where the cavity had been very quickly” As her mother, I would like to add that when I informed Dr. Maclin that my daughter was a little nervous; she took the time to ask her about the cause of her nervousness. My daughter was nervous about the needle that would numb her mouth. Dr. Maclin explained how she would use a numbing agent to numb the area where the needle would be going to numb the area around the tooth. This allayed my daughter's concern and honestly before I knew it…the procedure was done. Dr Maclin’s assistant Nelly is also as gentle and caring as Dr. Maclin.

Fantastic experience: I consider myself very fortunate to have found Dr. Maniwang. I have a rather complicated case and had been playing what felt like hot potato with dental work. Every time I tried to get an increasingly painfully dental situation handled I was met with oh that’s not something I do. You should for sure get that addressed by someone, but….y’know, not me. It was crazy, srsly. I heard of Dr. Maniwang and made an appt and being tough as nails apparently, she took on the challenge. I finally got answers as well as an appropriate course of treatment and am fully on my way toward a pretty and healthy smile. I can’t express how grateful I am. Dental woes can be embarrassing as well as painful. She listened with compassion and confidently went forth into the mayhem without making me feel bad for not having genetically perfect teeth. My experience has been 10/10 and I strongly recommend seeing her. The staff is also super awesome. They have a great reminders system and every employee I’ve interacted with has been professional, courteous and best of all sincerely kind. Thank you again. You all are angels.

Fantastic experience: I wanted to take a moment to review my recent visit with Dr. Mojares and her assistant, Drica. As it seems, most of the population would rather not visit the dentist; I think I’m the leader of that pack. However, these ladies are so kind, caring, and understanding of my fears. They answer every question I have and make me feel like I’m their only patient. I’ve been in the dentist's chair and felt chilly; they have brought me blankets to warm me. As someone who had many old mercury fillings that inevitably cracked and ruined my teeth, along with some neglect on my part, they have been nothing but outstanding. There is no judgment when you are in their chair. They are fun and outgoing, and if they can deal with me, there’s no other chair I’d rather be in than theirs.

I now go to the General Booth location and Dr. Maniwang is my Dentist. She is fantastic and very patient, and the staff is wonderful too. The front desk are so nice & friendly and they always welcome you with a smile. They actually seem happy to see you. Although no one is excited about going to the Dentist; this office always goes over and above to keep you relaxed and comfortable during the process. I highly recommend them.
