Fantastic experience: My experience with Union Family Dental gets better with every visit. This time it was for cleaning, x-ray and adjustment to my lower bridge. The Hygienist was thorough and gentle, checking to see if I was comfortable and not experiencing any discomfort or sensitivity in my teeth. A fluoride treatment recommended which I readily accepted. I love the fact that the office is cognizant of patients TIME. I was contacted and asked if I could come in a little earlier than my scheduled appointment. Fantastic experience: Recently had a routine cleaning and exam at Union Family Dental. The communication from the staff was phenomenal. Scheduling the appointment was very hassle free. I was contacted via text and email once I initiated interest in booking an appointment. They also reached out through phone call to inform me of an earlier appointment slot that was available, so they were very accommodating. The office was not hard to find, it is located on the first floor in the complex they’re in. The new patient forms were very simple and easy to fill online, took about 7 minutes. After checking in, the staff performing the cleaning and exam were all extremely professional and efficient. Julie and Michelle were wonderful and very detailed with their work. Michelle is very knowledgeable as well. Dr. Amira Zachary was incredible and provided invaluable guidance during her exam. I highly recommend Dr. Amira Zachary! Overall the experience was phenomenal. As a first time patient, it was stress free and easy communicating with the staff - providing my dental insurance prior to the appointment and overall scheduling. Fantastic experience: I cannot stress enough how much I love this place. Everyone is so welcoming, the doctors and staff are all very attentive as well. The office is exceptionally clean and clients are spaced out so the waiting room is not crowded. I have very sensitive teeth and the doctors and hygienists are so gentle, and take extra care to ensure patient comfort. I am so happy that I decided to switch dentists after ten years. Ten out of ten I recommend this practice and the dentists.

Negative experience: My daughter has invisaline of which there is a clerical miscalculation created by this practice increasing her monthly payments They are tripling up on the monthly payment to catch up of which she cannot afford this payment schedule As a result, they refuse to remove the product until she pays in full She has tried to resolve amicably to no resolve As time has passed, her teeth are beginning to discolor and begin shifting her teeth, affecting her health and cosmetic appearance This is not a professional approach We will seek help from consumer affairs, Align Technology who manufactures the product and ADA Any outside input is greatly appreciated This is unfair business practice Thank you

Fantastic experience: Please forgive me, but I forgot the doctors who have been working on me. (2 ladies) and as someone who is TERRIFIED of the dentist and who has SEVERE anxiety, this is the only dentist I will ever go to. Two years ago I left a review for a gentlemen who no longer works there and I praised him inside out. I was skeptical about going back as he was no longer there. Well, I can honestly say that it’s not just one person it’s the entire practice. They are PHENOMENAL!! If you are hesitant, I hope you read BOTH of my reviews and book with them. You will thank me later

Fantastic experience: This has been the best dentist i’ve visit. The staffing is so honest and welcoming. I came in to fix my two front teeth thinking I needed a cap but Dr.Osman told me I won’t need one in all honesty. His repaired my teeth and gave me a night guard. To mention I’ve been to two different dentist prior and they all wanted to just convince me to do a root canal when my X-rays shown the teeth are healthy. I want to really thank Dr.Osman, Melrose,Isabella, Jes This is officially my new dentist.

Fantastic experience: I am very comfortable with Union Family Dental. The Drs, hygienists, and staff are very friendly, and accommodating. Their schedule moves right along as I have not had to wait long for my appointments most of the time. Lastly I love that they are open on 1 Saturday per month for 9 or 10 months during the year. Better than zero Saturdays!!!

The dentist took the time to answer my questions and explain my dental plan. The hygienist was super friendly and gentle with my cleaning. Fantastic experience: Whenever I interact with the staff administrator for technical medical, I always get a smile on my face. They're professionalism and they're careful. People is exemplary even the finding of funding sources and payment plan issues they handle with a smile My recent visit even allowed me to reschedule from that morning to the evening and then it was suggested that I got some work done that was recommended the same day. I chose not to cuz I had been away from home so long. However, that kind of flexibility and patient care speaks volumes.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely Amazing Experience with Dr. Hogan! Today, I had my cleaning done by Thee Dr. Hogan, and I must say—it was the best cleaning I’ve ever had! This was my first time having him work on my teeth, and he did an incredible job. He was gentle yet very thorough, and even took the time to share a few helpful tips to keep my smile healthy. Dr. Hogan’s energy is so positive and calming—it really made the whole experience enjoyable. I left feeling refreshed, taken care of, and yes, with a couple of fun dental goodies too—the perfect cherry on top. If you’re lucky enough to have Dr. Hogan do your cleaning, trust me, you won’t be disappointed. Huge shoutout and thank you, Dr. Hogan!

Negative experience: The place was nice and clean. But I had an appointment which they kept wanting to move earlier but I couldn’t. I had an appointment at 430pm ended up coming at 410 on a Friday, I got my teeth cleaned very painful and I wanted to ask questions about my teeth, the whys and hows, but I was rushed. The vibe was very— let’s clean her and go home. I got in my car and they were also already in their cars pulling out the parking lot before me so it just confirmed what I was feeling. It was my first time coming here, I don’t recommend booking late on the day before they’re off for the weekend. They will rush you to get an early weekend.

Negative experience: B.T.W. after this review. they called me say that they don't want to provide service for me anymore(suggest me to find another service), and I said yes. That my case, for your reference. The cleaning service itself was good, but there were several issues with the bill. I had a problem with the bill once because I was charged for a service I didn’t do. The officer said that we should have told them not to do an examination during cleaning, but this service has nothing to do with the examination. They applied for that service with insurance, but I waited for a long time and didn’t want to wait any longer, so I didn’t do it. The officer argued with me that they had already applied to the insurance company, so the service was included in the bill. Can’t they just admit that they did make a mistake? In the end, was I waived the service that I didn’t use, and it seemed like it was still a courtesy.

Fantastic experience: From the moment that we walk in we were greeted with warm smiles.Every one exhibited patience with my Dad who is 95 years old.Jennifer,who dealt with him yesterday was so kind and patient.

Negative experience: Unbelievably incompetent. Had to keep going back to these guys 5 different times because they could not get a basic filling right. They could not do the most basic part of their job, a basic filling on a molar. Infuriating. I could not chew on that side for over 7 weeks. They ended up telling me I needed a root canal that *I* needed to pay for after *their* screw up because I "grind my teeth" so I started getting suspicious and went to a different dentist. New dentist laughed after I told her my ordeal with these people, told me I don't need a root canal at all and correctly did the filling right then and there and I never had problems after that. I can't believe these people are allowed to be this mediocre.. Dr Zachary should be concentrating on doing the job right instead of discussing the latest Atkins diet in the middle of an operation. Dr Hogan should be ashamed trying to insult patients' intelligence. Get off your high horse and do better.

Negative experience: WARNING ⚠️⚠️: Hidden Charges, Incompetence & Rude Staff at Union Family Dental! I followed my Invisalign payment plan exactly as agreed, but the staff at Union Family Dental—who clearly can’t do basic math—miscalculated my monthly payments, completely ignoring our original contract. Because of their error, I now have to keep my attachments on for longer, which delays my treatment—even though it’s not my fault. Just as I was nearing the end of my treatment, they dropped a bomb on me: a shocking $2,900 outstanding balance due to their miscalculation. To make matters worse, they tacked on a hidden cancellation fee without any notice and now refuse to remove my attachments until I pay the full amount. They had 11 months to tell me about these mistakes, but they didn’t. When I raised these issues, Judy, the manager, was combative and tried to blame me for not catching the errors sooner—even though I’m the patient—while Michael, the owner, was dismissive and downright rude. I had a good experience with them until now, but this ordeal has revealed their true colors, leaving me utterly betrayed and frustrated. If you value honest, fair treatment and proper patient care, I strongly recommend you look elsewhere for dental services. And always double-check your contracts and your billing, especially with this office! If I could give Union Family Dental zero stars, I would—but since the system only allows a minimum of one star, consider that one star as a zero star rating.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Hogan is the only dentist that I will go to. He's very calm. His takes excellent care of my 72 year old teeth and his staff is kind and caring. His office is spick and span clean and I can always get the appointment I need. He's the ultimate professional and all-around nice person. Dr. Abassi, Fulla and Julie are tops!

Negative experience: This dental office said they can do a 5 tooth bridge but didn’t have the right experiences dentists to do the job. I wasted my time. People be careful. A lot of these reviews are based on 1st time visits. So they try to be nice on day one than rush you to do a review. Forget all that. The only review that should matter is the work that was done and lasted long term. Not the first visit when they are all trained to be nice to get a good review. DONT BE TRICKED

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Union Family Dental for about a year now. The staff is very nice and pleasant to deal with. Easy to reschedule appointments. They provide several reminders before your appointment date. I have needed different services such as fillings and a crown. In the near future I will need an implant. The staff always obtains approvals from my dental insurance prior to the service and in an expeditious manner. This has allowed me to keep up with my treatment without any delays and know exactly how much I need to pay. Dr. Zachary has been my dentist since my first visit. She is always pleasant and very professional. She always asks me about any sensitivity or if I feel pain during a procedure. This makes me feel very comfortable. My entire family goes to Union Family Dental. They provide all the necessary services to have a nice and healthy smile!

Negative experience: I've had a terrible experience at this dental office. It honestly feels like they're just out to steal money from their clients and overcharge the dental insurance company. Every visit came with unexpected and exorbitant charges that were never clearly explained. The receptionists were completely unorganized and seemed clueless about their tasks, causing unnecessary delays and confusion. They made multiple errors with my appointments and billing, which only added to the frustration. This place lacks professionalism and transparency, and I would strongly advise anyone to avoid it if they value their time and money.

Negative experience: I was charged $2,372 for dental work. I was overcharged by $1,377. When I reached out to the dentist, I was told that not only was I NOT getting a refund, but I OWE an additional $243 and was told "your insurance paid less than estimated for your treament." The office refused to refund me so I had to get my insurance involved. After my insurance confirmed that I was overcharged, and sent me a refund, this dentist office continues to send me bills by email and mail that I owe $243.

Fantastic experience: It was my first time ever at the Dentist! In my 31 years on this earth I had never gone to the Dentist, it was a big shock to the haha, however the staff was super friendly and kind and they took care of me with the utmost professionalism. Although it was my first cleaning ever the young lady who took care of me was extremely kind and patient. Will highly recommend to all my friend and family!

Negative experience: This dental office is a scam. Most reviews here are fake anyway. They never have their finances together. I used to visit them all the time in 2021/22 and the doctors are very nice. But then there were unexpected charges and they sent my balance to collections. I paid that with the collection agency already and then they tried to collect that from me again. Bunch of morons sitting at the front desk.

Negative experience: I wish I could give this -1 star. I had a very frustrating and disappointing experience with Union Family Dental that I feel needs to be shared. Prior to my visit, I confirmed my co-pay for a deep cleaning three separate times. Each time, I was told my first visit would cost $65, and my second would be $12. I made sure to double-check this information each time, as I wanted to avoid any surprises. The day before my appointment, I received a call stating that my insurance had expired in April. This was a shock to me, as I had already confirmed my new insurance and had been reassured on multiple occasions that everything was in order. After some back and forth, I was told the insurance issue was a mistake on their end, and everything was fine. However, when I arrived at the office, I was greeted with an unpleasant surprise. The staff at the desk told me my co-pay was now $119. This was not only a huge discrepancy from what I had been told but also incredibly frustrating. When I tried to express my confusion and frustration, I was met with a dismissive attitude, as if my concerns were unfounded. The receptionist even suggested I could pay the difference on a different day, which wasn’t the issue at all—I wasn’t prepared to pay $119, as I had been told something entirely different. When I asked if I could cancel the appointment, I was informed I would be charged a $75 cancellation fee. In this economic climate, that felt extremely unfair, especially given that the mix-up wasn’t my fault. I had come prepared to pay the co-pay I was told I would owe, and I felt completely blindsided. The situation was then escalated to the manager, Judy, who also did not provide much help. Her response was to show me my treatment plan, which I had already told her I was not interested in seeing. I simply wanted to understand why I was given conflicting information. Instead of addressing my concerns, she gave me an incredibly rude and dismissive look. I continued to explain that my frustration was with the miscommunication, not with the staff members I was speaking to, but it seemed like no one was listening. I will say that my dental hygienist was the only bright spot in this entire experience. She was professional, kind, and thorough in her work. She made me feel at ease, and I truly appreciated her care. Honestly, if I could take her with me to another practice, I would, as she deserves better than the treatment I received from the office staff. In conclusion, Union Family Dental needs to significantly improve their communication and customer service. While the clinical care may be competent, the lack of transparency and poor handling of issues like this has left a very sour taste. I hope the office takes this feedback to heart and works on creating a better experience for future patients. DO BETTER.

Positive experience: Scheduling was messed up. I had an appointment for 950 on 11/12 for cleaning and a filling. Only after cleaning was finished was I told that the filling was scheduled for 11 am, an hour later! Nobody informed me of this at the time the appointment was made and I did not receive any reminders for what turned out to be two separate procedures. Whoever scheduled this clearly dropped the ball and could benefit from additional training. I don’t appreciate my time being wasted due to this incompetence.

Fantastic experience: This place is great. I have really sensitive teeth and the staff makes me feel so comfortable. Recently saw Dr. Abazi and she was so great! This is a lot for me to rave about a Dental place but the people here really have amazing bed side manners, especially for nervous patients like me.

Negative experience: About a week ago I went to this office for an annual visit and clean up. Melissa was the dental hygienist who worked on my teeth for over an hour. Not only did this process take longer than my previous experiences, she was very aggressive while she was cleaning my bridges. I asked her three times to please be more gentle with the bridges but she ignored my request. Eventually, as my patience ran out I got up and left the room. She clearly was not experienced and did not listen to my request at all. We did let the front desk know about our experience and all they told us was that they will leave a note. And that was it. Very disappointed and will schedule a clean up with a different practice.

Fantastic experience: First visit- this was a second opinion. I needed a root canal. Dr Amira was able to do it the same day. She was considerate and knowledgeable of me being a natural redhead and needing more anesthesia. She already knew!! First doctor ever to know! She was thorough and kind. Fantastic experience: I want to start off with how bright and clean the office is. From checking in with the front desk, to the hygienist, then meeting the doctor was a great experience. I am a very nervous person when it comes to getting my teeth examined and cleaned. I really loved my hygienist I had today, I wish I can remember her name, but she took her time in detail my teeth for a cleaning. Fantastic experience: The service and staff at Union Glad my billing was resolved by Judy. Family Dental is always professional and welcoming. I had an emergency with a chipped tooth. There was no problem fitting me in today. I was very grateful. Everyone at this office is very nice. I always have a great experience going to Dr Hogan. He and his staff are very friendly . This practice is the best. They always fit you in to have your issue looked at. Dr Zachary is so pleasant and patient answering all questions. Dr Zachary is the Best!

Fantastic experience: My son chipped a tooth on a Saturday night while away at school. Union Family Dental was close to his school and had online appointment scheduling. I was able to get him an appointment on Monday morning. The office staff was pleasant and helpful, and Dr. Abazi did a great job fixing his tooth.

Fantastic experience: Today was my 5 year old daughter’s first time here. Everyone was super patient with her and showed her all the tools they were going to be working with. Very gentle and kind. They gave her a little prize and she got to pick a toothbrush which she was so excited about. Definitely recommend this practice.

Albana abazi best class act my fiancé who is my wife now had an emergency four days before our wedding they had zero openings because it was my fiancé they took her that hour and helped her they could of sent her else where nope they didn’t amazing staff.
