Fantastic experience: I really like Adventure dental. I can take my kids to the dentist and vision on the same day. They have friendly staff specially Karen at the front desk of dental, she is very sweet and helpful. Every time i take my kids there is little wait time and all my questions get answered before leaving the place.

Fantastic experience: I have 3 children who are patients at ADVENTURE DENTAL, Vision, Ortho in ALBQ. I utilize ALL 3 services. I have had a GREAT EXPERIENCE. I especially enjoyed the front desk in Dental. Very helpful & attentive. Helped me identify issues with my insurance. I was able to edit the errors without disrupting dental service.

Fantastic experience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We absolutely love Adventure Dental on Menaul! Lori, Autumn, and Dr. Aurora saw my son today, and they were all so kind, friendly, and professional. Even though today was an emergency visit, they got us in quickly and took such great care of him. The entire team is always fast and efficient — we never have to wait long. The office is super clean, and my son loves watching the cartoons in the rooms while he’s being seen. Adventure Dental is our go-to place for dental, vision, and ortho. Every visit reminds me why we keep coming back — the staff truly cares and makes every experience positive!

Fantastic experience: Drown Karen, and Mrs Michelle where awesome! My son had to have some emergency removals, and we were in and out in an hour. Their bed side manner was impeccable, and my kid didn't look uncomfortable at any point, at all. Great job guys!

Fantastic experience: First time here and it was a great experience. Estrella gave my son his eye exam. She was friendly, knowledgeable and patient. My son isn’t always the easiest patient but she quickly put him at ease and the rest of the appointment was a breeze. Thank you ADVO I will definitely be back!

Fantastic experience: Took my nieces in for an apt, all of the staff is very professional! Johanna was super helpful, friendly, and was very patient with my nephew. Dr. Dieterichs was very friendly and helped me understand what exactly was going on with my nephews vision. He explained astigmatism and eye fatigue, which explains the headaches my nephew was feeling. Overall, great experience and I would highly recommend this clinic!

Positive experience: Office was very clean my daugher was seen for vision. Desk staff was decent. Nurses were okay could have been a bit nicer seemed frustrated. But overall the Dr made up for it all very nice very to the point. Checked my daughter's eye's more than once! confirmed certain test's more than once! was very helpful when explaining her eye exam answered all our questions with the most helpful knowledge and gave us tips and was very respectful and just a great exam visit. My daughter was happy and so was I. She also got to choose some glasses they could of had a bigger selection I think! But overall she was able to find a really nice pair that fit her and she even loved the colors we will be back!

Positive experience: The glasses choice’s suck. Their lab is picky so you only get to pick between a very limited variety. and when you find one, they say it's too big or too small you can't use them. Also, it seems like they're always in a hurry. the doctor is really nice. The nurses aren't as nice.

Negative experience: They used to be really personal and friendly. Now appointments are dble triple booked . They took the play area out for more seating . And still ppl are standing . Feels like an assembly line . Strongly thinking about changing . Came back today 9/25/25 ... It's gotten worse if possible. So many employees sitting around gossiping loudly . None seemed passed the age of 22 besides the doctor. They questioned my daughter diabetes when I've put it on previous. Do they not read the chart? Or did they just take paperwork and forget to update?? I'll never know.

Negative experience: I will be switching providers, as this place treated my sister very rudely and even made an insulting comment. If the front desk staff do not want to be there, perhaps they should consider working elsewhere rather than providing such poor customer service.

Positive experience: Patient care here is adequate but the office logistics is amazingly outdated. My son is a patient of the dental branch. We had his first appointment with orthodontics. Registration needed all of his information as if he was a new patient. Registration for dental and orthodontics is the same window so it would be logical to assume his patient chart crosses over to ortho.

Negative experience: Eye Clinic: I do not recommend this place. I took my kids here the past two years, and the experience has been very unprofessional. The assistant and eye doctor do not have good communication skills, and even the front desk staff spend more time chatting with each other than paying attention to patients. While examining my daughter’s eyes, the doctor actually answered a call and had a conversation with a relative in the middle of the exam. When I tried to ask questions or share concerns about my child’s vision, the doctor’s responses were plain and dismissive. Overall, very unprofessional service from start to finish.

Negative experience: My granddaughters glasses keep breaking and they keep putting the wrong screw on the arm of glasses breaks agin take them back does it again went back today and they said there out for lunch went at 12:30 and said they won’t be back till 2 wow what a long lunch dental tried putting a screw in don’t even have the size wth there terrible

Negative experience: Appointments were at 10:30a & 11:30a not seen until 11a and then tried to go to the 1130 Appointment & it was canceled knowing that I was on the vision side. Horrible customer service & would never recommend

Negative experience: My son needed a crown on his tooth per dentist recommendation which I didn't think the tooth needed it but I figured okay she knew best. My son got the crown only it was too big and caused a lot of discomfort when he was eating. We go back about 1-2 weeks later to get a smaller crown. About a week later it got infected and we had to go to the ER for antibiotics. We returned to the dentist for an exam only for her to rip the whole tooth out!! She then says we needed a spacer for his teeth so his tooth could grow in well. His next appointment, she does her exam and doesn't say anything about a spacer and says it's all fine and dandy. Fast forward, we never got the spacers and went to see orthodontist and now my son needs braces because of the dentist who messed up my son's tooth! Now there's no room for my son's teeth to grow out correctly and only the only way to be corrected is with braces which puts me in debt by $1700!!! Be careful and get a second opinion. My poor son is traumatized!

Fantastic experience: This office deserves a little appreciation for doing so well with our children.often times we turn away and give a casual thank you . I think they all deserve a Starbucks and some donuts. Thank you to all the staff. I will see you soon to bring you a nice office gift

Negative experience: Very high quantity over quality. This place is extremely packed, from the moment we arrived everyone was rude. The reception was not friendly, the staff all seem very unhappy at work. It wasn't a great experience at all. I couldn't wait to leave and never return. Not for us. If you're looking for a dental home this isn't it. This is the McDonald's of dentistry.

Negative experience: The staff is too busy orchestrating arguments with the parents, they silently judge. Instead of comforting the children, who are the patients and should be their main focus. **All 3 of my kids, don't want to come here, because they don't feel heard and always leave Hurt. Maybe they should remember why, they clocked in, instead of lip reading security cameras, Poorly.

Positive experience: Real good with the kids and it was an in and out process as long as you have your stuff together. Definitely will be returning

Fantastic experience: Took my daughter in today to get a cleaning, and the front desk girls were welcoming. The assistant that took us back was very helpful and listening to my concerns about treatment. The hygienist Bethany that cleaned my girls teeth was AMAZING and very kind, also she was understanding of my concerns. She took the extra time to numb an was very gentle. Thanks Bethany. Negative experience: The most unorganized group of people! How are you going to say confirm appointment. When I show up and whole time I called ahead of time to make sure I had an appointment! Happen to me 4 times now!! Get your shit together!! Horrible!!! WILL NOT be going back!

Positive experience: Seriously debating on maybe leaving this practice after a couple years of care, unfortunately. The changes that they have made around the practice recently are very confusing with the check in and out process. They have signs up that are grammatically incorrect and rude staff when you ask questions which only adds to the confusion. Not to mention the fact that we can never figure out the office hours as nothing that is posted matches, not the building, not Google, and what the staff say. I understand that working in a pediatric office is challenging as it is especially one of their nature that works with a lot of low-income families. However, I have not ever met one kind person in this office, they all have some sort of shade of rude. The only reason I have given this a three-star is because we love Dr. Dietreich and for a Medicaid practice, the selection of glasses is decently well, but we may be taking our chances elsewhere.

Negative experience: My daughter had an eye exam in January and got some frames that have broken in 4 places (same exact spots on either side; the actual plastic and the spring) and have resorted to super gluing them so she can see. I cannot get a hold of anyone to order a replacement pair. I left a message with someone on Friday April 11th and she stated she would pass along the message to call me back. I still haven't received a call nor have I been able to get a hold of anyone. I'm disappointed and I will be getting my 4 kids seen elsewhere from now on. Edit: I finally just went to Walmart to purchase my daughter a new frame and lo and behold, the prescription we had for her wasn't not written correctly according to the guy who was helping us. He called (and waited) Adventure Vision to verify it and turned out it was missing some sort of number. They verified with the Dr and we went ahead and continued ordering. I had a missed call from Adventure Vision and was left a voicemail stating that the Dr wanted me to take my daughter back to make sure her prescription was correct after I had already spent $140 ordering her new frame plus coatings because they told the guy helping us the missing number. I'm not sure what's going on over there, but I'm more than disappointed. Good luck to anyone who chooses to take their children there.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had a cavity sealed at adventure dental. They offered gas but we declined gas , and my daughter has real bad allergies so we also had to not use the plastic saliva catcher. The doctor Karen, Lori , and Michelle all did Amazing working hard to seal her cavity while holding her tongue back and catching saliva . Thank you all for working so well on my daughter. We are grateful

Negative experience: Horrible place overbooked the waiting time is long because the amount of people they booked they overwhelmed you with the amount of calls and text and emails to confirm appointments is ridiculous. The amount of paperwork and signatures is ridiculous. Front staff has ZERO customer service.

Fantastic experience: Lori and Jaque are the ones that you need to request for assistance specially if you have a child that has had bad experience prior to another dental office or if you child suffer with high anxiety. These two women know how to talk and comfort your child when they need it the most. They have worked with all my children and cause of them my children like to go to the dentist. Adventure Dental are blessed to have the staff they do everyone is friendly and welcoming! Thank you again!

Fantastic experience: Was a little frustrated and confused. One side opens at 7:30 and the other at 8. Also, scheduled our appointments too close together but we’re still able to see us same day. Besides that great experience! I watched Dr. Karen with a special needs child and she did so great with him! Was good to know she would be working with my child!

Fantastic experience: As always Adventure staff and provider was Fab.....from front desk to back and provider ...they are very thorough ...polite n understanding...always willing to listen...my child has some different issues with vision...n by far as one of the top pediatric vision providers in the country Dr Dietriecs and his staff always discover things and have a treatment for these issues more so than any specialists we have been to. ...office is always very clean n techs are very knowledgeable in helping educate my child on eye care...thank u

Negative experience: I went in to take my son to his dental appointment this morning, and the lobby was incredibly cold. When they called us in, the room was even more cold. Everyone in the lobby was visibly upset from how cold it was. We tried to talk to the ladies working the reception desk and they said that they are unable to do anything about it, even they were uncomfortable from how cold it is. I will NOT be coming back.

Negative experience: Took both of my kids to a dental appointment. The dental assistants and front desk staff were amazing. The doctor herself was very rude and made me feel like a bad parent for not being able to get my kid's dental issues addressed after starting a new job. I have never been treated like that by a doctor...considering a new dentist for my kids at this point.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience at Adventure Dental! My son can be quite a challenge when it comes to dental visits, but the amazing dental assistant, Cruz, made all the difference. Cruz was incredibly patient, kind, and really took the time to make my son feel comfortable and at ease. It's clear that she has a special way with kids, and it made the whole appointment go smoothly. Overall, it was a great visit, and I couldn't be more grateful for the care and attention Cruz provided. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Overall they are great if you want to accomplish getting vision and dental checkups but the wait time is insane. I had an appointment and I arrived 15 minutes prior to the appointment to fill documentation and all that and ended up waiting 40 minutes for her to finally get seen. This was uncalled for and it shouldn’t be happening for appointments.

Fantastic experience: I bring my child here all the time we love it here. Everyone in the office is so sweet including the doctors everyone’s very welcoming every time we come it’s always an easy visit. Definitely give this place a 10 out of 10.

Negative experience: The customer service is horrible. They act like they don’t want to be there or work there for the kids and they do not communicate very well at all. This is sad and disappointing that there is no accountability for how not just me but everybody else getting treated by theses worker . You need nice staff members in the front! We also got the wrong glasses color for my child . We ask for black we got orange……. We also had to call to see if they came in cuz no one called us to tell us there ready as well. Poor performance.

Negative experience: Very rude and unprofessional! They told me over the phone that my daughter appointment was at 7 and I even repeated it to make sure I heard right. Then at 7:20 am the texts they send out letting you know you have and appointment with the date and time. The of course didn't put the time cause they messed up. Then we finally get back their. After they charged me $100 they couldn't give her her contacts. Im actually young single mom and i think and believe they did this because of that!!!

Negative experience: Let me first off say that I am extremely disappointed by the lack of professionalism at this medical office. I had to wait several months for my kids to be seen, that wasn't a problem. When I called 24 hours in advance to confirm my children's appointment. They told me that the appointment for one of my kids was canceled because it wasn't confirmed and then the other child didn't have an appointment scheduled. I scheduled both of their appointments on the same day. I said fine just cancel the appointments and I will go somewhere else out of frustration. Here comes the day of the scheduled appointments and I get a text and email saying, "Don't forget your appointment today." I called so mad! What do you mean? I thought the appointment was cancelled and the other one was no where to be found. When I called, they informed me that both appointments were confirmed. They obliviously use a scheduling service and I asked to be sent to the office in ABQ. The girl on the phone said, "Ohhh, well I don't know why but there are two files for your kids and one said says confirmed." I said well make sure they are all cancelled and put the note that this was an absolute mess and I will not bring any of kids to your facility. I told her that the scheduling service should have more training on how to navigate the system. This was completely unprofessional and frustrating! DO NOT SCHEDULE EYE APPOINTMENTS HERE!

Fantastic experience: Everything was explained to us very well. All questions were answered. The staff and dentist were very professional, even using correct pronouns. We will definitely be back!

Negative experience: if there’s another place you could take your kiddo do so trust me front office incompetent never returned. Your calls never relays the information on vital information. Oh my god this place is bad bad bad but don’t get me wrong eye doctor excellent.

Fantastic experience: My child was recently seen for acute visit. The care team (Dr. Smith, Autumn, and Lori) were so patient and understanding, they made my child feel safe and explained very little thing throughout the little procedure. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Both dental & vision are awesome. They are quick, through, & great with kids! They do same time appointments for multiple kiddos & are patient with the kids. My girls are a bit of a handful but they were both at ease with the staff. Plus they give presents (sunglasses) so that’s always a bonus. Lol.

Negative experience: They are always behind. Waited 45 minutes after appointment for them to pullback my daughter. This happens all the time. Girls in the front gossiping out loud. Giggling and laughing. Unprofessional front behavior. The back end staff were good.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience here! They took us in early. They took care of my boys well. The eye doctor was nice and patient with my kiddos. The ladies were also very friendly and helpful. Will look forward to coming back in a few months.

Fantastic experience: Had a wonderful experience with Dr. Karen and her assistants!! Took my grandson in and was very impressed by how extremely knowledgeable and professional Dr.Karen is. She’s to the point, is respectful and very polite to parents and kiddos. My grandson was very nervous and did not want anyone working in his teeth and was giving them some hassle and she handled it professionally without doing fake “baby talk” to kiddos that many other providers do.

Fantastic experience: I was at the adventure yesterday, the girl seemed new but she gave such good customer service. She was gentle in every way, and made sure we understood what she was talking about. All 3 ladies were awesome. I didn’t get their names but They were great❤️

Negative experience: Tristin was in pain the entire procedure. He kept saying that it hurt and no attention was given to what was hurting him. He cried and moaned the entire time. The previous appointment, when similar procedures were done, he never cried once, they didn't have to hold his hands and he was being very brave. I believe that he was in pain and his emotions were bigger because he was not being heard. I am very disappointed in his treatments and the lack of compassion they had to hear him out.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this lovely place for dental/vision!!! The wait time for appointments, cleaning, treatment was less than a week. Treatment was next day. Fast friendly. The clinic itself super kid friendly! The vision center got all 3 girls in at the same time. Super love the Dallies ( non breakable) frames for kids. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: This was my second opinion appointment and Michelle F. And Dr. Sandy were so amazing and made us feel so comfortable while addressing some hard issues with my child! I can’t thank them enough! I can’t stress it enough that this clinic and the staff that was helping us, all had such a professional , patient, and warm energy towards my child! Definitely the best dental clinic for kids!

Fantastic experience: Going to the dentist is very scary for my son and super stressful for me. Diana made the experience AMAZING! My son was so happy and said she was the nicest person ever! She took her time and explained everything in a way he would understand. I highly recommend this location and ask for Diana!

Fantastic experience: Originally I had a poor review here. However they have had some staffing changes and I can confidently say that this place is much better now. The doctors are very professional quick and nice. They no longer seem as understaffed. I am very glad to see a place grow and better themselves like this I am very impressed!

Negative experience: They're okay until you make them mad. And then they'll do the work on your child's teeth and tell you that they're sending prescriptions and then they cancel the prescriptions. Go at your own risk. I don't recommend them!

Negative experience: Yesterday I took my child in for her appointment and I really thought the dentist that saw her was rude. I wanted to know about her treatment and how many appointments or if she could have all the work done at the same day. She was rude about it. I brought my children here before the only good experience was the first time it was because they asked me to post a review. Well here's my review. Do better.

Negative experience: Summary: we will never go back to this ABQ dental practice. Pros: the office was running on time when we arrived and took our daughter in promptly after we completed the paperwork. Cons: our 12 yr-old has visited a dentist visits every six months since she was 12 months old - never one has she disliked a visit or complained. Today was the absolute first - she was quiet the whole time they worked on her to my surpise, so I assume all was fine. Apparently they had to double up on a cleaning procedure because the hygienist forgot the instructions of the dentist who saw her upon arrival, and by the end of this long appointment, our very strong kid was painfully weeping in the car. She was sore, bleeding, and afraid to tell the hygienists how much they were hurting her, poking and scraping her gums every time they tried to scrape the plaque from her teeth; and when she would flinch, they'd tell her 'this doesn't hurt,' so she thought they would find her weak if she said anything. The second cleaning procedure made it all overwhelmingly painful - three different women who worked on her. She described in detail the roughness which sounded to me my like a total lack of experience. When I went back inside to cancel our next appt and explain our concerns to the manager, she insisted that it was all normal. There was nothing to be done. We will never go back to this place.

Fantastic experience: My 5 year old needed some work done on her teeth and the staff was so wonderful. Lori was especially sweet with my little girl. I forgot the name of the others that were helping us out today but they did a fantastic job keeping my daughter calm and letting her know how brave she was. We will definitely be back. Thank you!!

Fantastic experience: They were so kinda and nice even to big kids like me (19) lol. They are always so sweet to me both dentists and vision, love coming here. And I think if people have kids they should really consider making appointments here they are both very well put together.

Negative experience: Went in about 2 weeks ago. Front desk receptionists have attitude. they need to be more friendly, didnt see not one smile or make you feel welcome. waited about 30 min to be called back. fast forward to my son getting his glasses, they didnt check to see if they fit him good or anything. came in a few days later to get them adjusted because theyre hurting his ears, and the band doesnt adjust anything to solve the problem. was told "theres nothing we can do". how do they expect my child to wear his glasses if theyre hurting him ???

Positive experience: The staff is very friendly. I was able to get an appt for my kids rather quickly. When we arrived we waited in the waiting room no more than 10 minutes. It was a wonderful experience. The only bad thing I would say is that after my daughter picked out glasses, they were misplaced, so I have to take her back there to pick them out again. Not a super big deal, just inconvenient for my schedule. But other than that, I would highly recommend them.

Positive experience: Girls in the front could be way more patient. Especially when you have more than one child and all the paper work needed to be done. They get a one star. The assistants for the optometrist were kind. They get 4. The optometrist was gentle, kind and a patient man. Related to me and cracked jokes. He made the experience better for me. Girls in front could learn from his patience and humor.

Negative experience: MA’s are so unprofessional. Where is the kindness and willingness to help. I had no help finding glasses for my son. When it was time to pick up I did not feel welcome. No thank you for doing business with them either. Awful place. Take your kids elsewhere with better service.
