Fantastic experience: All went very well last week when I met with Kristen., the dental hygienist . She cleaned my teeth very thoroughly as always and was very gentle and precise. Yes, I would recommend Dr. Juban and his staff to all !

Fantastic experience: I love this office. Dr. Juban does perfect work. I'm not a fan of going to the dentist but this place is like visiting friends or family. Today my daughter had to come my cleaning with me and they had colors and coloring pages WAITING for her. I couldn't recommend this place more! Another great vist! Everyone here is so friendly, its like one big family with so many stories about what the kids are up too. I love hoe someone's always asking for an update of my daughter's dance, or my son's robotics. Always a great comfortable experience.

Negative experience: I want to begin with sincere thanks. For years, this dental office provided care that felt personal, professional, and deeply trustworthy. I walked in with confidence, knowing I’d be treated with kindness and skill. That kind of relationship is rare—and I don’t take it lightly. Which is why this last visit broke my heart a little. I arrived under the impression that the 225 Trade program—something they’d honored before—was still in place. Three months ago, I had no indication it would be discontinued. No email. No call. No signage. My vet, by contrast, had the courtesy to notify me in advance, giving me the dignity of choice. I wish my dentist had done the same. Instead, I was informed after the appointment that the program was no longer accepted. I was handed a $400 bill I hadn’t budgeted for, and left scrambling—literally—for cash. It was humiliating. Not because of the amount, but because of the surprise. The silence. The assumption that I’d simply absorb the shock. Before I could even gather the funds, 30 minutes, I received a collection letter. No grace period. No human moment. Just a cold, automated reminder that the relationship had changed—and I hadn’t been told. I won’t be returning. Not out of anger, but out of clarity. Trust isn’t just built on clean teeth and competent care. It’s built on communication. On respect. On the small courtesies that say, “We see you.” I’ll remember the good years fondly. But I’ll also remember that when the program ended, no one thought to tell me. And that silence cost more than money.

Fantastic experience: Juban Cowen Dental Care is a wonderful dentist office that truly cares for its patients. My son Austin and I are both patients, and I appreciate the exceptional care Austin receives, especially given his special needs. Jennifer Sanders, the dental hygienist, and Dr. Juban are amazing with him, always handling him with patience and kindness. Austin is always excited to come back because he brings a joke to each visit, and they make him feel like the next big comedian. Highly recommend this caring and friendly practice!

Fantastic experience: I had my first visit with Juban and Cowen Dental care, after several poor experiences at my previous dentist office. The staff there are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! From the time I went to the back, until my leaving, everything and everyone was great. They REALLY strive to cater to the patient and make sure we’re comfortable. So much so, that the exam chairs massage your back while you’re being treated, and there’s a television that you can look straight up at when they lay you back. THEY’RE ALL ABOUT PATIENT COMFORT!! They were also SUPER INFORMATIVE and took the time to answer ALL my questions. They didn’t rush me or make me feel like I was taking up too much time, which was super important to me. They were really eager to put to rest any concerns, fears or worries that I may have had in regards to comfort during treatment. From Katie the hygienist, to Dr. Cowen and even Melissa in finance, EVERYONE was so nice and welcoming! They even gave me a “goody bag” when I left, not knowing how much I LOVE tumbler/coffee cups!

Fantastic experience: UPDATE: JULY 21, 2025: The consistency in ones personality, the care and conversations, the warmth goes beyond customer service at Juban Dental..I had some issues with my dentures and never once was i made to feel like I was overstaying my welcome. Every time I called with an issue? They were accommodating. Im not rushed, nor ever feel like I'm on a clocked appointment. I am grateful for the quality of service. Going into a dental office can be nerve racking, placing your trust in being led to the best options possible is difficult, especially in today's world..I cannot say enough about this dental family! I was cared for, spoken to, they listened...I never felt like I was on a clock or conveyor belt. The QUALITY of care exceeded my expectations..I knew immediately upon leaving that I would be doing the dental work here! The Juban Team is a true medical model that many ought to follow because it makes a hugh difference!

Fantastic experience: Kristen and Michael Juban are the best I’ve ever had in terms of dentistry. I have always been terrified of going to the dentist but they helped me overcome this fear. They are gentle. They explain everything before and while it’s happening. I’ve noticed over the years of going to them that my hands are no longer clinched during my cleanings. Negative experience: I would avoid this Dentist. $580 for ONE SIDE of a cleaning. These people are rip off. They are charging your insurance company high premium. When in reality they are one of the worst dental practices in Baton Rouge with great customer service. Avoid this place unless you wanna get ripped off.

I have fair dental hygiene, but knew I needed to make a visit. I had recently cracked a filling anyways. Long story short, I’ve made 3 appointments in the last month with doctor Cowen and his team. They are very friendly, informative, respectful and provide care with zero guilt or judgment. I have a few more visits to go but I look forward to getting my smile back with their guidance and support. I’m not an advocate for dentists, but I am a happy customer of Juban Cowen dental. I am very nervous at the dentist, but I left feeling calm and confident about my future treatments. The doctors, nurses & support staff were SO beyond knowledgeable. They went beyond just telling me what I needed - they made sure that I understood their recommendations by showing me my X-rays and explaining what they found. Could not recommend this place more, especially for those nervous about the dentist!

Positive experience: I was a new patient here. I loved the environment and the hygienist I had. My annual cleaning went great at Juban Cowen. I did feel the dentists were trying to sell me on stuff on things I did not need, such as braces and botox. I ended up going to a different dentist to get a second opinion on something I had going on and was much happier because they were able to solve my problem immediately without me having to make a major life change and spending a ridiculous amount of money.

Fantastic experience: I've been seeing Dr Juban for over 10 years now. He and his staff are professional & friendly. Dr. Juban is meticulous and detailed, he takes pride in what he does and the final outcome. I have had implants, crowns and fillings...and have never been disappointed. Most recently I chipped and cracked an implant crown (Juban did not put this one in), they got me in ASAP, removed it, and came up with an agreeable game plan and replacement. I highly recommend Juban Dental for all you dental needs.

Fantastic experience: My experience here was amazing. I’m not really a fan of going to the dentist cause I always feel like it’s rushed but coming here, everyone was so worm and welcoming from the front office staff to the dental hygienist and dentist. The most important thing was to not feel like everything was about money. They gave me all my options from expensive to least expensive and told me the pros and cons for all options allowing me to choose what I feel Is the best option for me. I most Definitely will be returning and sending people here.

Fantastic experience: Treat you like family and have great cosmetic and preventive Dental care, also implants. Great facilities. They coordinate care with an Endodondist, if needed. I always get great care from them, but when they spotted something while I was there (a growing cavity), they stayed late and took care of it, so I wouldn't have to commute back to get it taken care of! They saw me the next day to take care of an old crown that popped off! August 10th, 2022. Back for a cleaning, but I had a minor issue that they fixed right on the spot! No need to come back (I drive up from NOLA). They're an awesome bunch! They're always great, really friendly, and organized. Get things done, can do spirit. Love these guys. They've helped me for years. I feel personally connected to them. Wonderful bunch of people. Always feel good going there. ☺️

Fantastic experience: The hygienist and the Dentist Are Great. I read reviews before I even decided to make an appointment, and All reviews were on point. They are some very caring, loveable, understanding people. Very attentive to what you have to say, know their job, well spoken, and dedicated to assuring that you are comfortable, very knowledgeable, and are there to assist you in any way that they can. Patience when it comes to People is unbelievable. Great People, great atmosphere. Hands down that are the Best. You will absolutely Love them.

Fantastic experience: My first visit was amazing. The staff were friendly and extended a very warm welcome. The hygienist was attentive, knowledgeable and helpful. She explained each procedure explicitly. And Dr Juban was fantastic. I am excited to call this place my new dentist office!
