Fantastic experience: I called Monday morning for an appointment as a new patient. They scheduled me at 10am I had 2 broken crowns and by 2 pm the same day my crowns were replaced! I am very pleased. Dr Gooch and all of his staff were fantastic. I highly recommend Gooch Family Dentistry.

Fantastic experience: Awesome, awesome, AWESOME!!! Robin Thicke (I mean Dr. Gooch) was amazing!! From the receptionist staff, to the hygienists, to his dental assistant, everyone was a joy to be around! I don’t know any other dentist office staff that’s extremely this kind!! After my 6 month cleaning, and after going over some procedures that I needed to get done, I asked was there time to do now…….Dr. Gooch wasted no time and said, “Yes girl we got you over here!!” (Not his words verbatim! Lol) I was able to express that I had a hair appointment, and Dr. Gooch wasted no time and had me done in literally 15 minutes when usually this procedure typically takes longer!! Best dentist hands down!!! AAAND I made it to my other appointment in perfect time with minimal speeding! Lol. GO HERE!! But not too much, I don’t need him too booked that I can’t come back!!

Negative experience: 2025 update. The original dentist was out when I had to get my crown fixed. The new female dentist used my anxiety against me to upsell getting additional "cavities" filled that weren't necessary, a retainer I don't use, and my mouth hurt for months after the new crown. I took it to another dentist to fix after coming back to try and get the original dentist to fix it. All in all I'd rather get the tooth pulled somewhere else than come back and have her do another crown. TLDR: I had a minor panic attack over a cavity, they handled it really well. Went in today, got a cavity filled and for whatever reason the stress of having a cavity filled on top of 2020 stress just pushed me over the edge. My mind had me convinced that my tongue was about to get torn up. Had them pull everything out, told them my concern, took a couple deep breaths and got back to it. Dr. Andrew's and the woman assisting him didn't make me feel awkward about it and were incredibly friendly the entire time. If you have high anxiety over going to the dentist this is the place for you.

Fantastic experience: From initial contact to my exit I was impressed how cordial and professional personnel were at Gooch’s. They were very pleasant and helpful. My technician was very sweet and knowledgeable and personable. The doctor was exactly how I feel doctors need to be. He was professional in that he took time to make sure you understood what he was explaining. He was not patronizing. He did a good job explaining options and I didn’t feel like he was trying to sell something. I appreciated his approach. My technician even walked me to the parking lot when the visit was over. It was an enjoyable visit to have been a visit to the dentist.

Fantastic experience: I had a great first experience with Gooch Dental; the staff is so personable. All of my questions, and I had a lot and more to come were answered giving options— love having options, both for my teeth issues and current financial circumstances — for a variety of scenarios. I love how responses are tailored to what’s found out with the surveys about ME. I love the gift bags and healthy snack options with little bottles of water that were available. Keep up the good work.

Fantastic experience: I have used this facility for my dental needs since relocating to the area a couple of years ago. If you need an emergency appointment, they have always been accommodating to try to get me in quickly. Dr Wood is great and thorough and explains everything, so you understand. Dental Hygienist Christian Stone is thorough and gentle for those that have anxiety about procedures and sounds. I have gag reflex, and everyone has always keyed in on my discomforts and anxieties regarding that and considered my comfort even though sometimes it makes procedures a bit harder and longer to perform which is GREAT!! I have paid for a couple of procedures that I was told that insurance would not cover but when the insurance did pay for them after being billed, I was refunded the cost to me. I would highly recommend this office for all your families dental needs. The entire staff here has always been kind and considerate from the moment you are greeted to the moment you leave with a new brighter smile!!

Fantastic experience: My 6 month appointment went well The dental assistant explained everything that she was doing. She was very pleasant while.ckeaning my teeth. Dr Wood checked.me out for mouth cancer and reviewed my X-rays Dr Wood is a very good Dr.

Fantastic experience: Today,7/17/25, Dr Gooch, fixed two of my cracked upper molars on same side with crowns. Start to finish in one appointment. Amazing and quick process. Appointment was at 12:30 pm and I was walking out of office around 2;45. Love Dr Gooch and his staff…. Highly recommend them !!!

I came here after my dentist retired, and I was nervous because the office and clinical settings are very modern, bright, clean, and elite. However, the pricing for regular maintenance is just what I need. They have many services available if you’re looking to enhance your dental health above average, but they THANKfully work fine as my general maintenance dentist. Dr. Wood is very professional and knowledgeable.

I had a wonderful experience from the minute I walked in the door. Savannah greeted me and was so sweet. My hygienist, Lisa, was so patient and gentle and explained things so well. Dr. Langford was the sweetest as well. They set me up for a future deep cleaning and Emily Grace was amazing at going over insurance, payments and scheduling. I am 100% confident that Gooch will be a great fit for me and I felt so much less anxious than I thought I would!

I was greeted promptly and warmly, informed my registration was complete and taken back to meet the hygienist who would perform my checkup. Donna Lee was pleasant, charming, professional and made sure I was comfortable and understood what she was doing. Dr. Wood came in to review the results of Donna Lee's findings and made recommendations for my continuing care. The applicable billing for forthcoming visits was fully explained before I left. It was as good a dental experience as I have ever had, if not the best. Negative experience: My husband went in the fall, we are new to the area so he tried it. The overzealous hygienists thought it would be a great idea to do a deep cleaning on a first time patient who is 66 yrs old. We only moved here, had a great dentist and hygienists that we visited regularly for scheduled cleaning at our old residence. My husband has had nothing but JAW PAIN ever since!!!! His Jaw actually pops now. Please teach your hygienists well, this is what deters people from your business, don't let the goodie bag and chairs fool you

The scheduling team was prompt, courteous, and incredibly accommodating, working seamlessly with my busy schedule. When I arrived, I was greeted with a warm smile by the front receptionist, who checked me in quickly after a few simple questions. I waited no more than five minutes before being escorted back by the dental hygienist who would assist with my procedure. She was wonderfully personable, sharing stories about her two children and instantly connecting with me over my own kids. It made me feel not just like a patient, but like part of a family—a true sense of belonging. And then there’s Dr. Duncan—where do I even begin? He is an incredible man and an outstanding dentist. His kindness and compassion shine through in everything he does. I’ve yet to meet a single staff member who doesn’t adore him and love working alongside him, which speaks volumes. Dr. Duncan takes the time to truly listen, engaging in genuine conversation about what you’re experiencing. He then carefully outlines a plan for what he believes needs to be done, all while welcoming your input and feedback to tailor the care to your needs. He’s patient, respectful, and deeply knowledgeable—qualities that make him stand out. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone. I’m so grateful for this practice, especially Dr. Duncan and the unique energy he brings to the team. They hit a home run when they hired him. Thank you for such an amazing experience—more importantly, for making me feel like a valued family member and providing heartfelt care. The entire process from the front desk to speaking with the dentist felt very friendly and welcoming. Jamaria was the one who worked with me the most during my visit. She was kind, personable, and very thorough in explaining everything/answering my questions. Comfort seems to be a major priority here, and I’ll gladly keep driving over an hour to receive the care that they provide here.

Fantastic experience: Today was my first visit. I have dental trauma and know I can be a “difficult patient”. Dr. Gooch and Dr. Lanford are the best dentists I’ve ever had. Fantastic experience: The atmosphere, although very Christian-themed, is still very welcoming. I had my first visit yesterday, and I felt like a VIP guest. My hygienist, Chasity, and Mrs. Penelope were so kind and fantastic, they felt like old friends. My dentist, Dr. Duncan, was also cheerful and pleasant, and explained things in detail to me in a way I could understand. Even Abby, the staff member who greeted me, was very sweet. I could easily see myself being a regular client there if it were not for my upcoming out of state move.

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience with Dr. Gooch and his staff today. Christian S who takes care of me on all my visits was awesome as always. Always extremely nice, personable, and professional. As it turned out I needed a filling and crown and since Dr Gooch had a cancellation he was able to go ahead and get that done so I didn’t need to schedule another appointment. Easy and the whole procedure was completely painless. His assistant Katie was awesome as well. She could not have been any nicer or more accommodating. Also a shout out to Samantha at billing. She explained everything thoroughly and couldn’t have been any nicer. Thanks to Dr. Gooch and his staff for a great visit today.

Fantastic experience: My daughter and I had an amazing experience today at Gooch Family Dental! Having had previous unpleasant experiences at other dental/orthodontist offices my daughter and I were very anxious about having to have dental work done today. The staff at Gooch Family Dental went out of their way to make both of us feel at ease. Prior to our appointment Katie and Jade, our hygienists, listened to my fears and were very understanding and supportive. They were both very reassuring of the issues that were causing my daughter and I fears. Katie and Jade continued to be very supportive throughout both of our visits. Penelope was very caring and supportive as well. Dr. Gooch and Dr. Landford are very knowledgeable as well as kind. I can not recommend this dental office enough! If you have any anxiety about going to the dentist this office can help you.
