Oakmont Family Dental

Negative experience: Didn't get past the intake. I was a few mins late, and the person who was supposed to take my x-rays was just nasty. I suggested that she proceeds with taking x-rays of my problem tooth to save time, because they worked with my insurance. No go. She said she needed all my intake paperwork filled out first. Yes, ideally it would have been. But life happens. I opted for not letting someone with that kind of demeanor to touch my mouth. So I left. The stars I DID give are for the receptionists who were kind.

Fantastic experience: I have severe anxiety of the dentist to a point I had a broken tooth I left untreated for years out of fear. I am so thankful that I was referred to this place from a family friend, they have helped me walk through the fear I have and have been extremely patient. If you have any anxiety this is the place to go! Dr Claire and Dr Maddie are amazing. Dr Maddie extracted my tooth and it was the first time ever they it didn't feel like my jaw was being pulled out and she was super careful to make sure there wasn't breaking or cracking sounds.

Fantastic experience: I can't belive how welcoming, kind and relaxing this dental office is. Today was my second visit at this facility, I went in for fillings on two cavities. Emily assisted Dr. Jill and those two are a great team, I was in and out of there in under 1 hour. Both Emily & Dr. Jill were kind, attentive and listened to me when I was in discomfort. Dr. Jill quickly removed the bite block so that I could tell her what was going on. I am completley satisfied with my services today at Oakmont Family Dental. They do go that extra mile to ensure your comfort!

Fantastic experience: From the instant you walk in you are greeted with smiles and kind faces. Crystal at the front is amazing. Helpful, happy and made the experience exceptional. I broke my crown on a Saturday night. They had openings for me that Monday. I was able to get in Tuesday. They got me in, got X-rays and patched my broken crown until I could get back in two days later. I leave happy and temporarily repaired with an appointment to come back two days later and same happy smiling faces. They got me in, got a new crown on, took care of me and even helped me out with the payment since I do not have dental insurance. Dr Easter was such a great person. Can’t say enough and best of all I was referred by Karen , the marketing director and she checked up on me even. Again, I wouldn’t hesitate to visit here and see what they have to offer.

When I walked into the lobby for the first time I was blown away, not at all like a dentist office, at least none I've ever been to and the positivity of the staff and other patients was infectious. Fantastic experience: Can't even begin to explain how lovely the staff are at Oakmont dental. I had been the years ago but switched due to change in insurance. So glad I found them again. I even have one of my crowns that they gave me over 12 years ago that's lasted excellently. As soon as you walk in the door the staff are so kind. They have an amazing atmosphere. And the dental hygienists I have work with are very gentle and personable. They even have a list of items you can choose from to make your visit a little more comfortable. Things like a warm towel, essential oils, face towel, etc. I would highly recommend this dental office to anybody. I came from a previous dentist office that was terrible both in the financial aspect as well as the staff professionalism. Oakmont dental is above and beyond.

Fantastic experience: My initial appointment experience was exceptional! My first impression was how genuinely friendly and welcoming the entire staff was from the moment I walked in the door. Also, the thoroughness and competency was very apparent in the work performed by Dr. John Hardy, Elyse his Assistant and Sam Jose the Hygienist. All my questions were answered and explanations were easy to understand. They were very efficient as well. Since I traveled from the Southern Oregon Coast, they were also able to schedule my appointment with the Hygienist the same day. I am most grateful to them and my Oral Surgeon who referred me to Oakmont Family Dental!

Fantastic experience: I had a crown break Sunday night a few friends of mine go to Oakmont family dental and highly recommend them. I left a message and filled out a questionnaire online. The next morning when the office reached out they actually had an opening that day so I could be evaluated, and depending on the complexity I could walk out with a brand new crown. The staff and provider were welcoming. After 2 hours I was able to leave with a brand new crown! Not only that I wasn’t even a regular patient. It was my first time. I was so impressed in fact that I switched dental clinics. I would highly recommend, I would break my crown again

Fantastic experience: I came to Oakmont today and was absolutely blown away. Karen Lyons is in my networking group so I had heard about Oakmont from her. Over the past month most of my group joined Oakmont and raved about their experience. It wasn't until I had my appointment today that I discovered why. It's been awhile since my last cleaning and I felt some nervousness and embarrassment for sure, however, the team at Oakmont was so sweet and never for a second made me feel bad. They were so kind, helpful, and several times checked in with me about my insurance and any co-pays. I actually ended up paying even less than originally predicted even though it was out of network. I honestly have nothing but good things to say about Oakmont and their entire staff. My teeth also have never looked or felt better. I will be recommending them to everyone I know.

Fantastic experience: Most everybody is Friendly. I did have one young girl that pulled me back for an appointment for my Invisalign. She seemed a little snooty, not very talkative nor did she want to talk with me when I was asking her things. It was very short and cold. But I did notice that she changed her attitude & her Tone when the doctor was there to see me, she got perky and that made me really uncomfortable. My vibe of her was blah personality and attitude. Hopefully, I won’t have to see her again. This was at the last visit that I had for my checkup for my Invisalign

Fantastic experience: I was 2 years overdue for an exam and cleaning. My regular dentist was over 6 months out. My husband suggested I contact his dentist and see if I could get in. Luckily, Oakmont was accepting new patients and was able to get me in two weeks from the date of my call. I was able to get X-rays, exam, AND cleaning all done in the same appointment. Staff is very professional and personable. Office is very clean and up to date. They even have a menu which includes additional paid services as well as a variety of complimentary options. I am beyond happy with my experience here and will be coming back for any future dental needs! 10/10⭐️

Fantastic experience: I needed help with an emergency crack in my tooth and a needed root canal. I have never been treated sooo kindly and respectfully - and for someone who suffers awful anxieties, to have such empathy from absolute anyone in the office - we were SO so grateful.

And, the dental chairs, I imagine, are comfortable enough to encourage napping. Great people - great practice. Fantastic experience: I haven’t been to a dentist in 3-4 years and was nervous. Oakmont family dental were amazing and kind! They gave out lots of little gifts, had no problem with the fact that I didn’t have insurance, and the procedure itself was easy! No pain, no stress. Fantastic experience: Was always a 5 star experience, perhaps downgrade to a 4.5 Twice now my wife and went in separately for a non scheduled quickie consultation, and the intake person tried to charge us $245 each time. This was for a 3-5min consultation with no services involved ! I'm not sure what has happened, but don't just open your wallet any old time someone asks you to. I believe both times were at the Springfield location. Other than that We love the Wellness Plan saves $$ and motivates me to make and keep cleaning appts. And we still believe that Oakmont Dental sets the standard for all dental offices. Very friendly, efficient, thorough, and professional !

My son went in today for a consult for Invisalign, his dentist Dr. Andrus was amazing! He is so kind and personable, he treated my son with utmost care and compassion. After their appointments both of my 15 year olds are excited for their next visits. They say I love my dentist so much, this is the best dentist I have ever had. ( pediatric dentists prior ) Oakmont has exceptional service, is very clean, upscale and have my insurance figured out for me before we arrive! No wait, prizes to win and no crying customers!! Top notch! My husband and I are convinced this is the place to go!

Fantastic experience: I’m someone who has been a bit afraid to come to the dentist, but the team at Oakmont are so understanding and caring; they really put your mind at ease if you have dental anxieties. Dr. Sasse in the Springfield location did some treatment on me with the help of her lovely assistant Moriah, and it was a fast and painless process. I was able to have a blanket and headphones to make myself more comfortable. If you are hesitant about coming to the dentist I would 100% recommend Oakmont.

Fantastic experience: A 5 STAR PRICTICE I can not say enough good things about Oakmont Dental. Especially Julie in the front office and Dr Jill. They saved me yesterday. We are visiting Florence Oregon for the summer from the Heatwave in Palm Springs where we are from. Last Friday night while eating dinner I bit into a small piece of Chicken and felt a crunch. Then I found out it was my FRONT TOOTH CROWN that had broke off. I was mortified Especially being so far away from my home dental office out of state. I called several dental offices in Florence and surrounding areas. Mind u it was Friday nite so all offices were closed until Monday morning. I wanted to cry Knowing I had to wait 3 more days looking like this. I read reviews of so many dental offices in all the areas surrounding Florence Monday morning i called several offices & not 1 office could help me and were Not taking new patients. I reached out to Oakmont Dental which is over 1 hr away from where we are stay in our RV. Julie answered the phone i was almost in tears and she sounded positive that they might be able to help me. I sent her my photo with my front tooth missing looking l belonged to the Beverly hillbillies family. She checked with Dr Jill and they both agreed they could help and made it possible for me to come in yesterday Tuesday at 1pm. I was sooo excited & nervous going into another dental office I've never been to being this was a front tooth, But Thankful they wanted to help me. When I got there Dr Jill assured me she would be able to help me and she would match my new front tooth crown to my other 4 front crowns mind you they were put in several years ago. The equipment they use at Oakmont dentistry is amazing Dr Jill's assistant was awesome and so sweet they have a menu of comforting items like warm blankets, neck rolls, flavored lip balms, just to list a few she offered me. They took pictures with a hightech camera they ran over my teeth instead of the nasty gooey rubber impressions I've been use to at my home dental office. I was so shocked and impressed that a small camera took my impressions. Dr Jill made a replacement Crown and she promised me that she could match my front teeth perfectly & not use a temporary or that i would have a return visit. I CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT DR JILL AND ALL OF OAKMONT FAMILY DENTAL IN EUGENE OR AND THERE PROFESIONALISM. I WANTED TO CRY I WAS SO HAPPY AFTER LIVING TOOTHLESS FOR 4 DAYS AND HIDING IN OUR RV FROM EMBARRISMENT THEY HAVE A TOP NOTCH OFFICE. I GIVE THEM 5 STARS + PLEASE DONT HESITATE TO CONTACT THEM IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AN AMAZING DENTAL OFFICE. I WISH THEY WERE IN MY HOME AREA IN PALM SPRINGS CA. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Fantastic experience: I recently visited Oakmont Family Dental for tooth pain. I have been ashamed of the neglect I have given my own teeth, and the embarrassment has kept me from dentist’s offices. My experience was the opposite of the nightmare I created in my own mind. I would highly recommended Oakmont Family Dental if you deal with anxiety about the dentist. I would like to give special kudos to everyone there. Especially to the scheduler (unsure their name). They kept me updated with cancellations and made an appointment that was ten days out, into two. Also, my dental assistant Allison's warm demeanor and attentiveness made the visit even more pleasant. She was efficient, kind, and provided exceptional assistance during my procedure making sure to explain what was going to happen while also finding a way to keep my mind off the nervousness of my appointment. Dr. Skach was thorough and attentive, taking the time to explain each step of the process and making sure I was comfortable throughout the appointment. It really felt like the Doctor and the staff actually wanted me to feel better. The office itself was clean, modern, and felt warm and welcoming. I appreciated the efficient and timely service, and the follow-up care and advice provided were very helpful. I highly recommend Oakmont Family Dental to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dental practice.

Fantastic experience: Dr Ian and Annette were beyond helpful, kind, and patient. Extremely personable and they make the “dreadful dentist appointment” enjoyable. Their entire counter staff was incredibly nice as well! Best dentist probably in the state honestly.

Fantastic experience: I had an appointment yesterday for a cleaning, first in my life and Mariah did an excellent job, my teeth look good. Today 05/20/24 I had an appointment for fillings I needed 4, I wanted them in one go, so all 4 were done and one cavity too, it took probably one hour and fifteen maybe twenty minutes total, today was doctor Ian and Annette the assistant, everything went smooth, I could even take a nap on the chair, it was relaxing, I didn't feel any discomfort, very happy and highly recommend it.

Fantastic experience: I used to hate going to the dentist but they listened to my concerns and found dental options for me that worked. I am lucky enough to do my work with Lindsey and she is so attentive. I have had hygienist just poke and prod and it was painful but she was well placed with her tools and made the whole process easy. Also they have some great amenities that are there to ease the process. I personally like the blanket and neck warmer. But they also have lip balm, essential oils, warm face towels and a stress ball. They really go all out on making this easy and relaxing.

Fantastic experience: Everyone at Oakmont is awesome. Caitlin who does my bi-yearly cleanings is so sweet and lovely to talk too. Going to the dentist is not my favorite activity but Oakmont makes it an enjoyable experience.

Fantastic experience: So happy with my dental visit today. I had tooth colored fillings done on two of my lower front teeth and they look beautiful and so natural. The dentist and everyone at this office are outstanding.

Fantastic experience: Today was my first visit with Oakmont Family Dental and it was a very nice experience. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. Lisa showed me around and explained all the different services they provided. She did a great job with my exrays and cleaning. Everyone I met was very friendly, personable and easy to talk to. Fantastic experience: Absolutely love every time I go to Oakmont! The comfort menu is one of those things that might feel a little silly, but it's something small that really can brighten my day (all while brightening my smile!). Last time I was there I was pretty cozy with my warm neck wrap and blanket, I nearly fell asleep mid-clean, seriously. Everyone is so friendly and informative. It's also such a joy to see Oakmont staff helping out in the community. These are good people!

Fantastic experience: This was the best medical professionals on the planet. I broke a front tooth by chewing on a finger nail. I went in they checked everything. Even problems that other dentist missed. They evaluated first of week and fixed the next day. It looked horrible. Would not leave house. I can not even explain how much the did for me. THANK YOU !!!!. Every person in office was nothing but professional .

Fantastic experience: I have dental anxiety and have been searching for a place where I would be comfortable for about a decade. I found it! The team (Dr. Ian, hygienists & staff) are caring, gentle and kind. They provide a comfort menu with all sorts of relaxing things. I selected the blanket and stress ball and the blanket made such a difference for me. They also didn’t mind if I have headphones in to distract myself and they provided a new client gift. It has been a great experience and I highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: First appointment went perfectly! Ellie took all the x-rays and I met Dr John Hardy. They were good listeners about what i might need. Explained things very well. Front desk Julie was also a great experience. I will feel confident when i return.

Fantastic experience: I love going to Oakmont Dental. They are always friendly, always accommodating, and they are the only dental office I've ever been to that feels so cozy you could imagine you were at a spa... especially when you are ordering from the SPA MENU before your appointment gets underway. I always get a blanket, a warm neck wrap and an aromatherapy to de-stress with - what about you? If that wasn't enough, in one of my earlier visits I had shared with the staff about what a hard time I had been going through lately and a few days later I received the most amazingly thoughtful gift at my home with a special note that someone was thinking about me and that I deserved a lift up. It really takes an amazing office culture and thoughtful person / people to go that extra mile for their customers like that. I will always be grateful for that gesture during such a difficult time in my life. Thank you Oakmont Family!!

Fantastic experience: Have been going here for about a year and recommend Oakmont to everyone new to town or looking to switch dentists. The hours are great and it's easy to schedule. All of my appointments have been quick as well, with short wait times in the lobby. Every staff I've encountered is super friendly and very eager to help. If I've needed serious work done, like a cavity, then they are very flexible and able to get you in and serviced in a breeze. Great amenities as well :)
