Negative experience: If I could give zero stars I would. Me & a loved one had invisiline done. Their technicians did a very poor job of explaining the process and gave incorrect information on how to do the invisiline treatment. After the process was completed me & my loved one ended up with 13 cavities in between us. Keep in mind my loved one never had cavities before and I hadn't had a cavity in decades!!! I've had a new dentist for over a year. Yet the office keeps calling and emailing. To add insult to injury I've asked them four times to stop contacting me and they still do. They're money hungry and care more about selling unnecessary treatments than the actual oral care for their patients. Also, don't let the Google reviews fool you. They pressure people and are persistent in having patients do a review on the first visit!

Fantastic experience: I was afraid at first to go here, but after meeting and getting to know the team here especially Dr.Mehdi, he's upfront, honest, and chill he seems trustworthy For my cleaning Dr. Saha Rizvi was blunt, and straight to the point, you can tell she's serious so you can count on her to tell you exactly what you need done with a smile, very professional team Great experience I'll definitely come back and for the free drinks

Negative experience: I rarely write poor reviews but this has been the worst customer service experience I’ve had with a dental office. I have called 4 times now to get a quote for a night guard replacement since they did my original mold. Each time I’ve called they’ve said someone will give me a call back and each time no one has called. I called them for the 4th time on Friday and they promised someone will definitely get back to me Monday. Well now it’s Tuesday night and still no call. I don’t understand why it’s so hard to get a quote. I will not be going here or referring people here again.

The check-in process is smooth and efficient. The waiting area is clean, comfortable, and equipped with amenities to help pass the time, although I rarely have to wait long before being seen. Dr. Rizvi is exceptional. She takes the time to thoroughly explain each step of the examination ensuring I am comfortable and well-informed. Fantastic experience: What a great team from the moment you walk in the door, and Anaya has super helpful and reduced any anxiety! Organized, professional. Then Ady performed all the scans and X-rays in such an efficient and caring way. She talked to me about my dental issues with both suggestions and compassion. She even made a recommendation for the removal of a lip scar that I didn’t think any dentist could fix with a laser! Dr. Rizvi was also awesome- so genuine and authentic. Her thorough knowledge was combined with the wisdom that only comes through experience.

Fantastic experience: I have been searching for a holistic dentist and found My dentist for Life. On my first appointment I was a little nervous as I had a really bad experience at my previous dentist. I was greeted by Brooke the receptionist. She was so warm and friendly and immediately made me feel at ease. All the ladies at the front are amazing as well. Ady the dentist assistant who is literally the sweetest did my x rays etc and got me a blanket as I was a little cold, she wanted to make sure I felt comfortable and at ease. I then saw Dr. Riza who was also so warm and caring. After discussing my dental care with her, I immediately felt at ease. Anaya the patient coordinator was also so kind and took the time to explain all the dental work I would have to do and the costs etc. I then did a deep clean with Saira the dental hygienist. She was so gentle and comforting, she constantly made sure I was ok during the procedure. I returned a couple days later to do some fillings with Dr. Platzer and her assistant Mahdu, both of them were so gracious and kind, making sure I was at ease during the entire procedure. I am so pleased with this dental practice. I really felt at home at My dentist for life. They all treated me like family, even offered me protein shakes and pizza when they heard I had not eaten at all that day yet. I highly recommend this dentist and I feel so good and safe in their care. They will definitely now be my Dentist for life!!

Negative experience: I highly recommend not going to this dentist. The office staff is very kind and sweet and they’ll even pressure you into writing a 5 star review for them. Once you make it through your first appointment, you’ll be greeted and pressured with a sales pitch on things that you need to do. Then they will call you pressuring you about it even more. Then the next time you are in the office, you will have an entirely different problem that you get a new sales pitch on. Then, once you stop going there, you will get tons of emails from them advertising all of their deals and they’ve set it up to where you legitimately can’t unsubscribe. When I go to a dentist, I’m looking for genuine care and not a sales team. So uncomfortable and so unprofessional.

Negative experience: If nothing is done after this review is posted a complaint will be filed with Florida Board of Dentistry (.gov) and the Florida Department of Health (.gov). And if this doesn't help a legal action with will be taken. Around 2/2024 i went to see Dr Saba regarding a broken tooth, the tooth had to be extracted and i was informed by the Dr that the best option is to do and implant and a crown, I asked why not do a bridge that is a lot less invasive and shorter process, i was told by the Dr that the implant was a better option and it’s all done in one visit, extraction , and implant at the same time. I did have an implant done in the past and it was done in 3 stages, extraction, wait 3 months to heal, implant, wait 3 months to heal and last step the crown after 6 plus months. She assured me that it’s not a problem and can be done all in one visit. well The implant had to be taken out after i walked around with infection for a year. got bad advice, bad and rushed procedure. And rude office manager. My Response to the Dentist’s Comments March 20, 2025 If implants aren’t always the better choice due to the reasons you mentioned in your comments, why not check first before proceeding, especially when there’s another option like a bridge? Instead, you rush to offer the implant, and then a year later, you come up with excuses for why it didn’t work. In more difficult cases where you’re unsure of success, why not extract the tooth first, let the area heal, and then do the implant? The bite isn’t the issue—there’s something else going on that needs to be investigated. After all, I had an infection from this implant for about a year. The reason I asked to be removed from your mailing and text lists isn’t just about the treatment. It’s because your office staff insulted me, demanded payments before any work was done, and even asked for my credit card while I was lying in the dental chair. On my very first visit around February 2024, when I was quoted $4,500, your office manager came into the room and demanded full payment upfront—before anything was even started. I offered to pay $1,500 that day, but she responded that I’d gotten a “special deal” and the doctor required full payment immediately. Special deal? I was given a price, and I agreed to it—how is that a special deal? Your staff act like used car salespeople. I went to the front desk that day and told the receptionist to stop coming into the room to ask for my credit card. I explained it was insulting and that I’d pay at the front desk, not while I’m in the chair. Then, a couple of months ago, your office manager came into the room again, demanding the final $1,500 payment. I reminded her that I’d already paid $3,000 and said the last payment would be made once the bridge was completed. She started yelling at me, claiming I’d promised to pay that day, making me look like a liar—all in front of two of your employees. Ask your staff member Armando; I’m sure he remembers this incident. On the day the bridge was supposed to be placed, your office manager once again came into the room while I was in the dental chair, asking for my credit card before anything was done. As usual, this sparked another argument and more insults from her. I told her I’d stop at the front desk after the procedure to pay my balance, which I did exactly as promised. I’ve never experienced a doctor’s office that treats patients this way. This is why I asked to be removed from your mailing list—I will never step foot in your office again. The care I received was unprofessional and rushed, and your office staff, who are clearly trained by you, are rude and focused solely on how quickly they can get paid. On top of all this, you charge a 3% fee for credit card payments. When I go to a grocery store, do I get charged extra for using a credit card? No. But apparently, paying thousands of dollars for dental work isn’t enough—you feel the need to tack on an additional fee.

My hygenist Saira was extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. She actually listened to my concerns and helped me put my mind at ease. I went to this office because I was in search of a biological dentist. Dr. Rizvi was very impressive. She answered all of my questions, explained the connection between the mouth and the entire body, and created a plan and resources for me to follow and use. The office manager Cheryl was so understanding and helpful. Thank you to Saira, Cheryl, and Dr Rizvi for making my dental experience a pleasant one. I cannot say enough about this dental office. I have found my family’s and “My Dentist for Life.”

Negative experience: DO NOT GO HERE. A few months ago I went here to get a pre evaluation to get my wisdom teeth out. Once I arrived I was greeted by super friendly staff which assured me I was in good hands. I got X-rays done and a routine cleaning, after sitting around for a little the “dentist” comes in and tells me I have 9 cavities and need a root canal so obviously since she’s the professional I listened to her (I wish I didn’t). Once the dentist preformed the dental work I felt relieved that I got this taken care of and quickly scheduled to get my wisdom teeth out since the staff were so trusting and caring. About a week later my sister goes in to get the same X-rays done and a cleaning when they proceed to tell her the EXACT same thing they told me (9 cavities and needed a root canal, practically the exact same teeth, along with Invisalign) (she had braces for 3 years with perfect teeth)so clearly that was a red flag for me so my sister and we both got a second opinion on the X-rays that this “dental” office provided and they said we both needed no dental work at all. These people are absolute crooks and deserve to be in prison for taking peoples hard earned money with a smile on their faces. Not to mention the fact they killed my insurance for every single penny they could which has caused me to suffer until my insurance renews, they also had me pay thousands of dollars out of pocket ($4000) due to my insurance “not covering it” on top of that I had to pay for my wisdom teeth out of pocket which was $2500 due to my insurance being drained by this office leaving nothing left on my insurance. On top of everything i spoke of in the horror story above, when i got my permanent crown in, they brought me in to install it, and the dentist didn’t listen to my requests at all and kept trying to put it in with little local anesthesia, leaving me in excruciating pain until it got to the point he couldn’t get close to me and finally gave me the dose I needed. I’ve spoken to a few of my friends on this issue and a couple of them mentioned they have heard of the same problems with this place, id avoid it at all costs.

Fantastic experience: Today, I had the best cleaning I've ever experienced! As someone with extreme dental anxiety, my hygienist Saira made me feel so incredibly comfortable and was very gentle throughout the process. She was also very informative. If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would!

Fantastic experience: The staff here is the most friendly I have experienced at any dental office!! I strongly recommend them if you are looking for quality, experienced doctors and staff whether you're in need of a dentist or looking for better dental group.

Fantastic experience: Amazing place for a more holistic approach to dental healthcare and they accept insurance! The staff is so friendly and wonderful. Especially Addy she has the best customer service. She’s patient, kind and very joyful! Betty was great she cleaned my teeth so well and she was sooooo informative on how to properly care for your teeth. Their facility is extremely clean and all the treatments they offer are fantastic. My wait time was less than ten minutes! This will truly be My Dentist for Life! ❤️

Fantastic experience: I am going to TRY to keep this short and sweet, but I just needed all of Google and whoever else sees these reviews to know how amazing my visit to My Dentist for Life of Plantation really was. I walked through the door and was met with friendly football banter from the two girls up front (sorry I didn't catch their names, thank you again for Saquon Barkley). It means a lot when people treat you not only like a customer, but a friend as well. I was immediately guided to the back (was in the waiting room for less than 2 minutes) and was met by Gigi. Gigi was very nice, friendly, and made me feel great about being there. Gigi took my x-rays, scanned my teeth and took photos. She was very gentile. Next, I met Dr. Platzer, who was not only super friendly, but extremely knowledgeable. Dr. Platzer was thorough, went through each x-ray photo and explained everything that needed to be done. She dumbed it down for us non-PHD holders. I met Dr. Rizvi briefly, as I could tell she was busy, but she still took the time out to introduce herself and was very happy that I was there. During the process, I was greeted by Cynthia (sorry if I spelled it wrong). Cynthia was superrrr helpful by breaking down my health care plan as well as helping me get started with a payment plan. Last but not least, Betty. Betty, who is just a personable human, made my stay the most enjoyable. She could tell I was terrified as this was the first time I would get a deep cleaning, and I have heard war stories from friends and family of how rough these cleanings can be. Betty explained the entire process, numbed my mouth perfectly and got to work. The pain was almost non-existent and before I knew it, it was over. Betty took photos before and after and I was amazed with how great of a job she did. Overall, 10000/10000. Every single person from the front desk to the doctors and everyone in between, make you feel like family. I can't wait to begin my journey with My Dentist for Life of Plantation. I sincerely thank you guys.

Fantastic experience: Shakira(hopefully I spelled her name right) is super nice and informative.. made sure I was comfortable while doing the procedure while she sets up for Betty. Betty the hygienist was super informative. Even though I declined the deeper cleaning at the moment I will be returning for it. She was very thorough with her work I didn’t feel little to no pain. Never seen a hygienist deep into her work that wants you to do everything you can to get right without the scare tactics like most dentist practice would. 10/10 highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely a wonderful experience. This place is amazing and I am extremely impressed from the energy of the office to the technology they use and of course the office staff. Gigi my dental assistant to my dentist were very gentle and talented with the way they handled my procedure. Thank you to the entire office for making me feel so comfortable with everything from my dental plan to helping me make this into a reality.

Fantastic experience: First visit was as smooth as can be. Love the friendly staff (Abby is great!) and the technology is second to none. Betty did a wonderful job on the cleaning and everyone there was very knowledgeable. I actually look forward to returning again soon!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Rivzi is a wonderful dentist. She has a calm , gentle and confident demeanor which makes me feel safe and cared for. She explains everything that’s going and what needs to be done. I love that she works biologically so the whole body is taken in consideration when it comes to dental work. I highly recommend her!
