Negative experience: I hope my experience was an anomaly, but I was very disappointed with my last visit. I was rescheduled due to some issues with the building the week prior. Before anything started, I had a clipboard presented to me telling me to share names for a referral. Then was randomly offered a protein shake before my cleaning. After being brought in for my appointment, I was in the room for over 30 minutes before my cleaning. The dentist didn't seem to take much care during my cleaning and poked me in my gums several times during the cleaning and it felt very rushed. The hygienist who finished with the polishing was very kind, but seemed inexperienced. I just had a very unpleasant experience. This is not my first visit and I have received great care. But the past two visits left much to be desired. Also, the environment felt a bit unprofessional. As I was waiting, the door was wide open and the staff was making jokes. I don't know if I will be returning as a patient.

Fantastic experience: I had such an amazing experience with Dr. Maame and her assistant Ri. They made me feel so welcome and comfortable especially since I was already uneasy for my wisdom teeth extractions because I didn't know what to expect. Dr. Maame went into detail about all the steps she did during the procedure and always left room for questions. She also constantly checked on me throughout the procedure to make sure I was doing well. Ri also made the atmosphere very lively with her friendly personality. She also did a great job assisting Dr. Maame during my procedure and she also answered questions I had. I am so happy I found this place and I would highly recommend it.

The best rxperience. One thing i like sbout this office is that, while they are doing their job, they talk to uou through the whole process. Negative experience: I went for a professional opinion, on a single implant that fell out, implant was not done at this facility, My goal was to get some guidance on my next step,I got unprofessionalism and rudeness, That cost me $150, My advice to the doctor, keep your personal opinion to yourself, try being a professional that's what you're being paid for,

Negative experience: I had a crown re-cemented at More Smiles of Beverly by an assistant—not a licensed dentist. No X-ray or bite alignment was done. I experienced pain right after and later found out from a specialist that my tooth was cracked and now needs extraction. I sent them a certified letter with no response. Extremely disappointing experience.

Negative experience: This place is so very unprofessional. First I was solicited to make the appointment but I was ok with that. Upon setting the appointment I asked if my insurance was accepted and I was assured that it was. Before th day of my appointment I called again to inquire about the insurance, AGIN ASSURED THAT IT WAS ACCEPTED. Get to the appointment, give insurance to receptionist, fill out paperwork, then taken in the back for more PAPERWORK only to be informed after about 45mins that my insurance is NOT ACCEPTED!!!!!! What a waste of my damn d time and money going there. Then I'm told about a program they have for less $$ , ok sign me up!!!! Nope STILL NOT ELIGIBLE. Have to pay their FEE FOR THE DISCOUNT. What kind of $&@/! Is that. Needless to say I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANY ONE EVER!!! Told the receptionist as I wax walking out the door tht they need to be MORE HONEST WITH THEIR PATIENTS ABOUT THEIR SERVICES!!

Fantastic experience: Great service from Mary, and the entire staff. Was greeted with a smile and greeting from every staff member. First dentist office I've ever been in where I actually thought "they're cool, I like them."

Negative experience: I recently visited the office fill out all the paperwork lots of it set waiting was given a tour the sat down in a different area to find out that the owner of the company delivered a message that he doesn't except Care Credit because of past clients didn't pay the bill!!!

Negative experience: I had a bad experience with this office and will not be returning. I specifically went in for a general dental exam, xrays and cleaning. I received services that I did not ask for. Why was a panoramic xray conducted if I came in there for just a general exam?! They immediately started talking about implants, when I did not request them. I specially notated on the forms to not run any numbers, credit checks for financing, without my permission, discussing with me first. Well this was one of the first things that they did. Did not honor my request at all! I felt as if I was in a car dealership and not a dental office. Please stay away if you're not looking to get implants because I believe that is their ultimate goal is to sell implants. I'm still look to get my exam, cleaning and xrays. Back to square one looking for good dental care..

Negative experience: DO YOUR RESEARCH, CHECK OUT YELP REVIEWS! THIS PLACE IS A SCAM AND UNTIL I RECEIVE MY RECORDS I WILL KEEP POSTING. UPDATE FILED a complaint with BBB, called again about my records still nothing but they can send me 20 emails about implants since I called again for records a week ago! If you have to keep and hide records from your patients there is a problem! Unfortunately I’m one of the vast majorities that do have issues with this billing, and everything else about this establishment! From quoting 18,000 which I financed to then find out not only did my insurance cover it which they have a team the supposed to specialize in insurance claims and financing, who advices med to the loan, charged my insurance 10,000. Asked for my records for almost a year even had to take off a day of work come in and sign papers to get my records still don’t have them a year later, 28,000 and I’m having another dentist fix what they messed up and charging me a substantial amount different, if I could say anything before choosing them do not fill out anything for financing , watch your insurance claims and make sure you truly had all the work done they claim to have done, and lastly read yelp reviews! I’m absolutely not letting them keep me from getting the smile I so desperately wanted! I will continue advocating for anyone who may get involved with this establishment, and continue to share my story and write all the reviews I can, don’t listen to them, for me they blamed it all on dr Chris and said he was let go for multiple story’s that were the same, that was on a phone conversation with them, and those phone calls are recorded from the information I got from their receptionist! THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I had such a great experience at this dental practice! I want to give a special shoutout to Tyreese at the front desk—super friendly, professional, and made the whole check-in process smooth. The dental assistant was also fantastic—very attentive and professional throughout my visit. And Dr. Angel truly lives up to her name! Her kind and warm manner instantly put me at ease. Negative experience: Yes, they attended to me but it is a clinic that cannot be trusted. They harm people there, they abuse the patient. The worst thing was having to look at this clinic. They stole $150 from me and they were not happy with that amount, if not, they wanted to steal more from me. And the worst thing is, I do not know how this clinic can be working if what they want is to hurt the patient. I went because of a toothache because I have a root canal and it turns out it was the wisdom tooth and another root canal on another tooth. The worst thing is that they did not let us leave because it was as if they wanted to steal more money from me than they had stolen from me. My husband, I and my two children felt harassed and threatened by the staff that works there. They injected me with anesthesia, which they should not have done because not even the doctor (if I can call him that) knew what I had. I had to go to another clinic because my pain got worse, and they did help me, and my problem wasn't my wisdom teeth or anything like what you told me it was.

Fantastic experience: Dr.Omar was very thoroughly with all my crowns and fillings for my teeth, the more you go, make sure to be on time and get in and out with ease, no struggles; emily was the assistant who made sure everything dr Omar put was up to standards, made sure it was ok with me with all the procedures done, always making sure they work with my busy schedule as well.

They really took their time with me, explained everything clearly, and even worked out an amazing financing plan that made things feel a lot less stressful. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to move forward with treatment due to a family emergency and needing to travel the next day — two separate curveballs at once. But honestly, based on how well they treated me, I have zero doubt they would’ve done an excellent job. Negative experience: Steer away from this office. They constantly harass you by phone and email to book an appointment. They set appointments you never agreed to and then wanna charge 50$ for a missed appointment. The prices are outrageous even with great insurance. This place wanted to charge 1,800 for a root canal and that was the deductible.. 1,800 and my insurance is high option. After speaking with my insurance agency I was told I should not pay anymore than 453$ out of pocket. I was able to get the same procedure else where for 250$ as my deductible . This office is scamming people. The prices are ridiculous especially while this country is in uncertain times. Before you settle for this office please do yourself a favor and research around and compare prices

Negative experience: Please think twice before thinking about coming here. I waited for over 2 hours. I received a 50 gift card. I told the office manager that I would not come back I would rather have something else. He told me that he would think about it . Give him72 hours. I left out with nothing but bad treatment. Very unorganized place and front desk is doing multi task jobs such as cleaning the rooms for the patients. I was treated badly? Other patients were complaining as well. I should have ran for the hills.

Negative experience: Be cautious of this fake 5-star facility. They will attempt to bill you for services you had no knowledge of or had not discussed previously. Moreover, I had billing issues twice. The providers' communication skills are horrible. They schedule additional appointments for so-called dental concerns but never inform the patients about the problem. Upon your follow-up appointment, you will walk into the appointment and be offered a new mystery bill. You have been warned! Go elsewhere!!!

Fantastic experience: Ms Carmen, Emily and Dr Omar, took very great care with me. I did not feel any pain after my extractions.

Negative experience: Every single visit they haggle you over money. Each visit they would tell me what the visit would cost and what my insurance would pay. I would pay the difference but the next visit they would tell me I had a balance from the previous visit. I contacted my insurance company and found out the cost of the procedure that they quoted me is not what they would submit to the insurance company. They would charge more making me have to pay more out of pocket. I will never go back. The work they performed was not worth going back anyway so I cut ties.

Fantastic experience: I'm here for my 3rd appointment, so far it has been a good experience. Dr. Omar is doing an implant and the start of the process was good, didn't cause pain nor infection to my mouth. I'm going all the way.

Negative experience: It isn't my preference to leave this type of review for this establishment, especially since everyone is so nice and professional. The experience is refreshing and I was even walked to my car after my first visit. Although the cost are exuberant requiring financing if your dental plan doesn't have a high annual maximum spend, I still agreed to services to avoid microaggressions experienced at other dental providers. My main concern is being presented with a bill to pay the balance of services not paid for by my insurance plan for services that are 100% covered. In my previous work life, I worked in Healthcare administration, including my current insurance provider in PBM Provider Relations. I mostly facilitated contracting/credentialing, pricing and FWA attestation. Thus, I'm well aware that balance billing only applies to out-of-network providers and this dental facility and its providers are fully in-network. An in-network provider agrees to the contractual rate with the insurance provider. Any additional cost outside of the reasonable and customary charges aren't the patient's responsibility. I'm hoping that this is a rookie or simple oversight and not unethical practices. I'm hoping this issue is resolved by my next visit because I wouldn't want to file a formal complaint to any regulatory parties against a Black owned business. I'll be reviewing all charges against the covered cost breakdown from the provider. Anything over that amount, I'm not willing to pay or have my financiers pay either. It's also helpful to advise that I currently work with data and also arbitration on the side. Please note that this is an account that I've used since the mid 2000s when aliases were the norm and use as a local guide. 2/2024: It's even worse than I expected. Please do not sign up with financing with this office. Please review all of your claims submitted and billing statements. Deceptive, unethical and possibly illegal billing practices are becoming the norm with Healthcare providers, including this one. You will not make it into paradise going this route.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Omar and staff was nothing short of amazing!!!! I came yesterday for a consultation for implants. More Smiles and I was able to come to an agreement for my treatment. Although not an emergency, I was given next day appointment. Dr. Omar extracted 2 teeth, put in 2 implants with bone graft in less than 2 hours. AMAZING!!!!!!! Actually I'm still in the chair after the procedure doing this review. When I tell you I'm a person who does her research and always have plan B....I knew More Smiles was the Dental office that I was going to trust. Dr. Omar chairside manners was awesome along with his Assistant. I am not a stranger to Dentistry and by far this was an amazing experience. Thanks Dr. Omar and staff! You're awesome!

I told her I was afraid of needles and just all of the sounds the equipment make, and she eased my worries about it all. Fantastic experience: I love my visit at Beverly smiles the first time I had the energy so the people here are wonderful. I reckon them all over from the front office to the back part to the finance department. Everyone is beautiful. I feel like family here they call me by my first day last day, so I’m walking in the door. I have nothing bad to say about my wish everyone can come down and get your mouth fixed because I took a long time to get here but I’m glad I did and I looked around so I found the first place which is now at Beverly smile I looked on Facebook and that’s how I found them and I ain’t going nowhere. Fantastic experience: My experience with Dr Frazier has been nothing less than wonderful. She is very attentive and caring and wants nothing more than for her patients to be comfortable and have an experience that let's then know that going to the dentist can be not only informative but enriching. I would recommend Dr. Frazier to anyone in need of dental assistance.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful cleaning experience. Micheal did a wonderful cleaning job. Cali made me feel at home during the x-ray process. The only thing I had an issue with was waiting to get my cleaning after my X-ray, but Michael explained that they had to fit me in after the x-ray, and that they didn’t want to reschedule another day.

Fantastic experience: LaQueena is an amazing hygienist! I've read Google reviews for years and I think this is my first time doing a review. I had to because it was such a good experience! She explained what she would be doing and then proceeded with the cleaning, very gently but also very thoroughly. She paused anytime I needed suction or needed to explain a problem area. She was very polite and understanding. Couple that with the great front desk staff, CJ, and I'm sure this will be my dental office for years to come! I'm glad they take Metlife and they have decent payment plan options too for the other work I need to get done (1 filling and 2 crowns). I'm looking forward to Dr. Frazier completing that treatment plan as she comes across as very personable, professional, and understanding!

Negative experience: June 26, 2024. I had an 11 am appointment (the waiting room was packed, another new patient also had an 11 am appt.) at More Smiles of Bevery and I just left the office at 4:45 pm. They took me to the exam room at 1:30 pm. One of the office reps asked that I pay 149.99 for the visit and not bill my insurance company. At 2:15 they started taking xrays, and full mouth scan. The nurse and the xray technician/dental assistant were talking to me about my treatment plan. I have never seen a nurse in a dental practice, nor discuss treatment with the dental assist/xray technician. Maybe this is new age. At 3:15 the doctor came in, she was nice, just not who I scheduled the appointment with. He was nolonger taking new patient. The front office should have informed me of that when I scheduled the appointment. I was so overwhelmed by this time, they wanted to book dental cleaning into the next year and especially when I saw the pricing for an extraction. The fees were more than a quote I got from an oral surgeon. The had me wait to talk to someone about the treatment plan, who was taking their time. They didn't want to even give me a print out of my treatment plan. At 4:45, I left and told them I would be writing this review. July 26, 2024: During my initial visit (June 26,) I signed a release and requested they send me my dental xrays. I spoke with someone on July 25 and 26 and I haven't received the xrays/scans via email yet. Please be careful going to this dental office. They seem very nice and professional but they are deceitful and more money driven. My daughter had dental work done while we were on vacation and they gave me copies of her xrays and scan before I left the office on the day of treatment.

Fantastic experience: MS of B, made me feel so comfortable with coming to the dentist. Before I had dentist anxiety, but starting from the front with Cj and the other receptionists to nurse Natalie and Dr. Frazier then to Dr. Stanley ,with the teeth extractions, and lastly with Laqueena with the deep cleaning, everyone made me super comfortable. They explained whenever something new was happening, made great real conversations, easy to comprehend and gave me the confidence I needed again. The staff made me excited to want to come back to the dentist and I look forward to my upcoming appointments. I've never been excited to come to the dentist but that changed once coming to MS of B.

Negative experience: Somehow told me that my major dental plan would not cover visit. Then tried to get me to sign up for some expensive payment plan or a loan. I refuse procedure and went to a more reputable dentist and all work done covered by insurance. Now they keep calling and texting me to come back in 2 years later even though I've told them repeatedly to take me off of their call list. I've even blocked them but they get thru from a different number when you do

Fantastic experience: Dr. Frazier is AMAZING! This was my first time going to the dentist in a while due to dentophobia. I needed major work. However, the level of knowledge, skill, care, gentleness, attentiveness, professionalism and kindness is unmatched. I've NEVER experienced dental treatment and care as o have with Dr. Frazier and her team. I am a patient for life. Thank you!!
