Fantastic experience: Have had nothing but great experiences since I’ve been coming for the past 2 years. Maricruz is my dental hygienist and is very gentle with my cleaning. Dental office is clean and very helpful when I need to reschedule.

Negative experience: I went to Central Dental Associates for an emergency visit after a tooth broke while eating over a year ago. At the time, I was 20 years old, in college, and already struggling financially — unsure if I could even afford school, let alone unexpected dental care. My dental hygiene had been neglected since I was 16, and I already felt vulnerable walking in, knowing my teeth weren’t in the best condition. While I did get the root canal I needed, the experience was not compassionate at all. Instead of feeling cared for, I left feeling shamed and embarrassed for trying to pay for my dental care as a struggling college student. The main dentist didn’t just bring this up once, but multiple times throughout my whole visit and this was my very first time in their chair as well. The lack of empathy made what was already a stressful and painful situation much worse especially because I already have anxiety for dentists. Because of how disrespected I felt during the process, I never returned for the crown that was supposed to follow the root canal. I was too embarrassed to. It’s disappointing, because I went in hoping for support during a difficult time, but left feeling judged instead.

Negative experience: ***CICERO SHOULD SHUT THIS BUSINESS DOWN!!!!! *** Terrible service the the receptions are rude. The schedule you an appointment and don't preform any type a services and STILL had the audacity to charge your insurance! - TOP of everything they don't properly clean any of their equipment. Next morning I woke up with sores on in my mouth from x-rays. Super disappointed!!!!!

Dr. Shams was professional and explained everything clearly. He fixed my tooth and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I left the office feeling relieved and grateful for the excellent care. Fantastic experience: I decided to come to a new dental office since my previous dental clinic was really rough there. They previously scrapped my mouth which left me a bad experience. HOWEVER... here at Central Dental.. today visit went really great. Daniela was super careful with my cleaning and was great at explaining my next following procedures. My girlfriend actually comes to this clinic and she always has a great time as well.

I was in utter pain and the team at Central Dental took the time to comfort me and fit me in right away to take care of the problems. Yes, problems, they didn't stop at just solving one issue or only what my insurance would cover. They did a full work up and walked me through all the options. We are all a team working toward giving me back my smile. I've been there several times over the last two months, everyone is helpful and makes sure you are comfortable the entire time you are in the dental chair. Dr. Sham, Dr. Sam, Cindy and so many others have walked me through every step and calmed my nerves along the way. I will be recommending them to anyone looked for dental help.

My recent visit with Cindy, the Hygienist was spot on with the numbing. She was both thorough and fast! The whole team is pretty Amazing! Providers are funny & have great bedside engagement. Really patient professionals that prioritize your comfort during any procedure. They make sure you understand your treatment and go the extra mile to work with your insurance. My children moved pretty far away and have kids of their own now, but they refuse go anywhere else. Once you've found a dental "home" the rest is easy. I recommend Central Dental to anyone looking for a dedicated care team & their own "dental home". Check them out for yourself and I promise you won't be disappointed!

Negative experience: I’m writing this review due to recent and past experiences. I used to go to this dentist since childhood. The past years they said I had periodontal disease and was doing cleanings every 3 months. Paying every single time. Didn’t question it until I moved out of state and my new dentist told me I didn’t need such cleanings. I’ve seen multiple dentist since then who have told me the same thing. My mom continued to go to this location. They always charged her at every visit, to the point she started to keep track of all the charges and reached out to her insurance. Long story short they were stealing from her and when confronted they ended up returning money back to her. This is not the first time I’ve heard this happening with their clients. Recently they did a service for my mom, she paid upfront and now they are saying the insurance didn’t cover the other half. When my mom tried to get an answer and explain that she had it in writing that she was only paying a certain amount, the receptionist told her “we will just send you to collections” and hung up on her lol It’s very unfortunate this is what this place has turned into. Do better. Honestly just avoid this place at all cost.

I called first thing Monday morning, and they were able to accommodate same-day appointment took my emergency seriously and were able to accommodate to my needs in a timely manner. Dr. Hamad is very knowledgeable and took his time to explain the procedure as well as his staff very knowledgeable and kind.

Negative experience: Had the meanest toothache & they only gave me ibuprofen and told me to take tylenol. It wasn’t even strong either! 1600mg would have been more like it, but they only gave me 800mg. Bunch of quacks in here. Don’t do it. Management receptionists and “doctors” all suck don’t come here

Negative experience: I normally don’t leave reviews, but I felt I had to share my recent experience at this dental office to help others make an informed decision. I visited the office due to a chipped molar and what I suspected was a cavity on another tooth. The initial dental assistant was kind and professional, and I appreciated her patience during the X-rays. However, once I met with the dentist and the so-called “financial advisor,” things took a sharp turn for the worse. I thanked the dentist for seeing me on short notice, and he explained that I’d need a crown, cavity fillings, and a retainer. Afterwards, a young woman came in to discuss payment options. This is where the experience became extremely uncomfortable. She immediately pushed me to open a credit card, claiming my out-of-pocket cost after insurance would be $2,038 — a number that shocked me. I told her I was confused, especially since I knew my insurance should be covering more. Instead of helping clarify, she insisted I open a credit card and told me it was the only way to proceed. She hovered very close to me while speaking, invading my personal space, and it made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. I could smell and feel her breath on me and she kept inching towards me as I was applying for the loan not giving me room. Despite repeatedly saying I wanted time to think and that I was unsure about the cost, she continued pushing hard for me to apply for the card. Later, she falsely told the dentist that I had said I didn’t like him, which led him to come back and tell me that if I disliked him so much, they wouldn’t treat me. I was shocked and told him I had never said that — I was simply trying to understand the financial side before committing to treatment. The whole conversation felt immature and unprofessional. Still under pressure, I applied for a financing option she said would be 0% interest — only to find out it was over 30%. I was then pushed to apply for two more high-interest loans, both with similarly outrageous rates. I felt manipulated and overwhelmed, and eventually, I became emotional. I’ve never experienced such intense pressure to sign up for costly financial products in a healthcare setting. To make matters worse, I later contacted my insurance provider and confirmed that fillings are fully covered, and the most I should have been charged for a crown was $97. There was absolutely no explanation for the $2,038 quote I was given. This experience reminded me why I hadn’t been back to this office in years. A similar situation happened in the past when I came for braces — I was told they were in-network and reasonably priced, but I later found much more affordable and honest treatment elsewhere. While I won’t tell others what to do, I strongly encourage you to ask a lot of questions, verify prices with your insurance, and trust your instincts. What I experienced here was unprofessional, pressuring, and simply not right. I hope this review helps prevent others from going through the same thing.

Negative experience: This dental office is an absolute disgrace! I had an appointment scheduled for 8 AM, and when I arrived, the entire building was closed—no notice, no explanation, nothing! They wasted my time and showed complete disregard for their patients. This level of incompetence is beyond unacceptable. If they can’t even manage basic scheduling, how can anyone trust them with dental care? Avoid this place at all costs!

Fantastic experience: I had Invisalign treatment recently with doctor Salem and had a great experience because his team made sure I was happy with the end result of my treatment. It did take a few adjustments but I’m glad I got the smile I wanted. I also got a crown put in a few years ago and I can assure you that he makes sure you are not nervous about the procedure by making sure it is pain-free and every step of the way is made clear. I would recommend him to anyone hesitant about seeing the dentist due to pain or just the feeling. It’s a breeze with Dr. Salem!
