Negative experience: The staff is nice quick and effective and I will say it’s a very overall well great practice but the constant text messaging is bordeline harassment. 30 plus text messages somehow they get my sons phone number who is a minor and texted him over and over again about scheduling. They automatically schedule you even if you don’t respond and they have fee’s associated with no showing appointment. I am taking my children to a closer location to home but please use a new system.

Fantastic experience: My daughters had their cleanings today and the staff was so gentle, patient, and kind. They made the whole visit easy and comfortable.

Negative experience: Took my daughter for a new patient appointment. I wasn’t comfortable with the treatment plan they suggested. I told them I needed time To think on it. When I called back to schedule they said no they would not proceed since I did not agree while I was in office. I’ve never heard of a children dentist or even an adult dentist that says no to treatment because I needed time to think. Very unprofessional

Fantastic experience: Loved everything the front office ladies super helpful & nice and Dr. baker was so nice and patient with my son he's two and he isn’t fond over dentist due to the previous experience at a different dentistry we went too we switched here to total kids dental Dr. baker made him feel comfortable he spoke so gently to him he also answered every question I asked and was very nice about everything he talked us through it all I would definitely recommend this dentistry to anyone with littles!

Negative experience: We came for dental treatment for both my daughters every thing was good up until it was time for scheduling. The assistant manager Andrea was the rudest person in the Whole office her aggressive demeanor and attitude was enough for us not to come back. I understand we have bad days but you work with kids. Some that are special i just wish she would have had a better attitude when it comes to customer service. I have filed a formal complaint with the dentist board.

Negative experience: I recently took my daughter in for a dental cleaning, and unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience. The staff was not thorough, and it was clear that the cleaning was rushed. When we got home, I noticed her teeth still had plaque buildup, and it didn’t look like a proper cleaning had even been done. I expected a professional service, especially for a child’s dental health, but this visit left me feeling frustrated and concerned. I won’t be returning and would not recommend this place to others.

Fantastic experience: If my daughters could rate this place, they’d give it 100 sparkly stickers and a unicorn stamp of approval ✨ From the moment we walk in, it’s all smiles (and not just because their teeth are super clean). The office is always spotless, like a fairy godmother came through with a magic mop. The staff is so sweet and welcoming it feels like they’ve known us forever. And the games and prizes? Total kid heaven. My girls actually look forward to their appointments. One of them said she wishes she could come every week just for fun. What kind of dentist has that kind of magic?

Fantastic experience: Super friendly, clean, and well taken care of. Dr.Josie is amazing she made me feel super comfortable with my child in her care. She answered all my questions and even took out my child’s calculus without hesitation. Great place!

Negative experience: The care is above and beyond but financially they are not sending authorizations to insurance companies because they feel it’s not going to get approved that’s what was told to me by management. Everybody situation is different don’t base it off what you think. Remember this company is not with the BBB. They withdrew my daughter from services once authorization got approved and then management called me multiple times confronting me but for what. Very unprofessional in all my 12 years in nursing and working at a school with children. Don’t let ratings fool you to win prizes like me. Sometimes wanting something new is never a great idea.

Fantastic experience: My son is autistic and I have been taking him to Total Kids dentist for almost 3 years and today I got the best dental hygienist Yazmin!! She Is absolutely amazing with her communication and interaction with the kids. This is the first time he did his X-rays alone without issues!! She let him keep his balloon and she entertained him while she cleaned his teeth!! My son responded well!! Awesome job Yazmin!! Keep up the amazing work!! I only want her for my son’s appointments moving forward!!

Fantastic experience: I love this place!! I have been bringing my kid since they were 5 and they are the best team! Friendly front staff and techs! The dentist speak to you and answer questions. They are very mindful of the kids needs (my kid can be very anxious). They explain (to the kid) what they are doing so you know what to expect as they do it. Both tech and dentist do this. Racquel who has done my kids cleaning is very dedicated and makes sure she cleans everything (my kid has braces & was making sure she got right in between of her teeth & braces). Totally recommend this place!

Fantastic experience: Amazing service, my kids bill was outrageous. After seeing how much my kids dental work was gonna be, I was frustrated and kind of hesitant about going through with it because I didn't have the money right up front. The staff at total kids dental made an bad situation into an affordable one. They made a way for me to get my kid's service at the same appointment, working out a payment plan so that my kids could get there work done at a reasonable price. My kids where accepted as priority. And not just a paycheck. They explained everything and had me feeling assured that my babies where in the right hand. A+ service and the staff over all was friendly and helpful recommend to all families with kids!!!

Fantastic experience: I been coming to this office since 2021 , have 2 girls of the age 6 and 9 they both had surgery and treatment with oral sedation on hands of Dr.Shahbazi she is amazing super considered and experienced I live far from this location and don’t mind driving here , kid’s reacted very well to the treatment and had no problems after or during the procedure they felt comfortable , I was scared at first but nothing like I had in mind it’s super easy going.

Fantastic experience: I love total kids dental I have 5 children, I’ve gone to both office they are extremely professional and caring. I had two of them be put under general anesthesia and they made sure before we left that everything was fine after they finished the procedure. Also call and check on my kids which means the world to me. Thank you total kids dental for everything you do.

Fantastic experience: Our son Malachi has been going to Total Kids for 2 years now, and we appreciate how patient, professional, and caring the doctors and assistants; that cared for our son have been. We like it at Total Kids.

Negative experience: Terrible customer service, I would ask a guestion (are you going to use gas or numb my son) they would give me an answer then come in and change it to a different answer. Happened a few times on a few different things. Had a long wait which I understand as it was a last minute appointment. Then the guy sat there next to my son cleaning his tooth for 15 minutes as he told him he had to before he could give it to us for the tooth fairy. Then the lady up front said "we don't give infected teeth to people" which okay maybe they have a medical reason for that, (which i don't understand at all) however why sit there and make it a big thing for my son and leaving me to clean up the mess of the situation after. Not to mention, she was supper rude about it. I would very much not recommend the location at 75th ave and Indian school! The other location at 7th and Union Hills has always been great.

Negative experience: I have to update my review. The first time we went was great. The next couple of times was a no for my family. Second time waited a long time, dentist was rushing and had my son siting a long time with gas on while waiting for a filling. Lady came in and started then an assistant attempted to pull her from the room to do a cleaning on someone else. While starting on my child. I snapped like we are leaving. They then insisted we stay to allow her to finish since she had already started and he was numb. I have had a few situations happen to why we will never come back and after I told them we will not be coming back I still get text telling me to reschedule my kid sons visit ‍♀️

Negative experience: I would NOT recommend this dentist to anyone. Worst “pediatrician” I’ve ever been too my kid hates the dentist now thanks to these people. The girls who work there also don’t know what their doing charged my insurance and made me pay out of pocket as well then kept calling me to pay even after I already had. And now they won’t stop bugging to schedule my child again like I would even bother to take her back! DO NOT GO HERE if you care about your children there’s many other offices that are way better!! I changed my kids to one on 32nd street and greenway and so far we love it there! Nothing like this one

The assistants are all really great and most importantly, Dr S! She’s amazing, I don’t think we have seen her before but I really like her and the kids really like her too!

She makes the kids and parents feel at ease with her charming, kind personality and professionalism. She is definitely a #1 dentist in Phoenix.. heavily Recommended... You won't regret it.

The staff members did a Phenomenal job explaining every step they were doing and keeping my daughter calm! Thank you Thank You Had to add. Hours after we went home, the staff members call to see how she was doing.. Again absolutely amazing place

The doctor answered all of my questions and was very good with the kids. My daughter needed an orthodontist and the one they recommended was wonderful. My son liked coming here. Fantastic experience: My little ones participated in oral sedation today at Total Kids Dental with Dr Shahbazi and I will say in the beginning I was nervous and asked a lot of questions at the initial consult and than after speaking with the Dr and her assistant reassured me the safety of the procedure . Negative experience: For this office to have so many great reviews but the service received was so terrible is ridiculous. I brought my one year old here for his exam the lady at the front desk looked as if she was the lead, I’m unsure but very rude and inconsiderate. In the back the dr rushed to examine his teeth and didn’t allow questions to be asked just said “no cavities” and walked out, that to me is very unprofessional if you want patients to return. Definitely will never come back to this establishment.

Negative experience: Called to make a emergency dental appointment for my son because they offered emergency Sunday hours but no call back after two hours and then called back and gave my information to another receptionist with a promise for a call back and no call back. Office should not advertise emergency service if they can't follow through.
