Negative experience: Don’t give this dentist any chance to ever give you or your family dental care I’m a disabled veteran and have been completely ignored and denied care by them due to their inability to even conduct a consultation or get simple medical papers was told today after three months that I need to go seek care elsewhere after being told by another representative that the medical clearance papers would just be needed before that surgery can be completed not realizing the manager on the phone called me disrespectful and claiming I was unable to be seen in this office for a complete lie she is making up I’m disappointed by all their staff as they have made me jump through hoops for months now but once I’ve recieved the proper paperwork now all a sudden I can’t get the basic care I deserve. I pray no one falls for their lies and claiming they are going to follow through on their end cuz they are completely full of it at the end of the day not worth even trying to be seen here this is my 2nd time trying to get anything done with this lane company and will definitely be my last. Horrible stop and complete failure to the veteran community.

Fantastic experience: My experience was handle with care. That are so patient and supportive of my dental work. I love this dental office and job well done. I am so afraid of the dentist but Dr. Chung is so thoughtful.

Negative experience: So there are two sides here. The basic cleanings etc fantastic, I love their hygienists. Love their office staff and their assistant's. However, my daughter has had a ton of dental work done here and I really wish we walked away sooner. We finally said ok let’s get a second opinion because every one of her teeth are still bothering her. It took a year or so to get all of her fillings done including a root canal. Well she had to get several bite adjustments for every single filling including the crown. Not one bite an adjustment per filling, multiple bite adjustments per filling. Her crown came off in less than a year, a filling failed and had to be re done. So we went for our second opinion and turns out the crown is not only too big but it is also glued down backwards and still to high on her tooth, they ground off the enamel on nearly every tooth doing her bite adjustments, and the tooth that is still hurting….. the filling is up against the nerve which is why she is still in so much pain. They also refused to do a consult for her wisdoms when her bottom wisdoms are coming in sideways and must be removed before they push through if they ever would have because they are already impacting with her molars. And what really makes me angry is that I paid thousands for the work they did just to pay thousands to fix her fillings properly etc. I am beyond angry with their dentists. They gas lit both of us for a really long time about all of the issues she was having. When they simply should have done the work properly out the gate. I can not say it loud enough but please don’t let them do anything more than a cleaning for you.

Fantastic experience: Very pleased . This location fit us in when the Cary location had to cancel last minute due to staffing. Very pleased we didn't have to go back on a waiting list for surgery. Staff was great & the Ortho surgeon was amazing as well.

Fantastic experience: The staff was very friendly. They guided me through everything and helped me arrange my next appointments. Even though my English isn't the best, they were very patient in explaining the procedures and making sure I understood them.

Negative experience: Will not go back. In person the facility looks nothing like website photos. Waiting room has 3rd world feel as it was dimly lit and had rickety metal folding chairs. A sharp contrast to the brightly lit clean appearing area that the employees work in. An all too obvious sign as to what they think about their patients. Was rushed in and rushed out without any clear treatment plan. Was told I had one cavity when for last 3 years they said I had two. After the cleaning my teeth felt the same, not like before when they would have that polished feel. Substandard care compared to the other facility only a couple miles away.

Fantastic experience: I have extreme anxiety about coming to the dentist. This was my first cleaning in ten years and I am so so happy I came here. I never felt like I was being pressured to spend more money on things I didn’t need. The providers were very commutative and did a great job while working. Can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic experience: Mrs. Chelsie was great, I was terrified of the dentist for a while until I started coming here. Appreciate the good work.

Fantastic experience: I was seen quickly for my appointment and found out I didn’t have dental insurance after I was there and they were able to get me signed up for financing quickly and surprisingly easy! Everyone was very nice and sensitive to my pain.

Negative experience: I’ve only ever had one bad experience and it was today as one of the techs proceeded to stand in the room and make jokes and nasty comments about me and my situation. Everyone else was amazing and I’ve had no other bad experiences but having someone stand there and make comments while getting my blood pressure does not help with dental anxiety. Comments about my age, anxiety and the fact that I do not have a drivers license should have never been made especially while not knowing the circumstances. I have medical issues that prevent me driving on top of causes other issues and anxiety, it was downright disgusting and disturbing that she thought it was ok.

I called Lane and Associates, they saw me two days later. Friendly staff always has a smile. I have been at least 4 times this past year. I'm a patient for life now.

Fantastic experience: I had an appointment on August 5th with The Periodontal dentist Dr.Ulmar. Lenora the receptionist is very friendly and got me an appointment sooner than the original appointment in September. When I got there Lenora was very friendly and helpful. My dental assistant B. Is AMAZING GREAT CHAIR SIDE MANNER! Friendly pleasant patient and made me feel very comfortable. My Visit with Dr. Ulmar was very informative of the steps I need to take next. She allows you to ask as many questions as you have and doesn't rush out of the exam room. I'm so grateful for the staff here. I have a long way to go with the dental plan. I'm so glad these people are in place to help me smile again. It's going to be a long road, but I'm glad to be going through this procedure with this very caring group of people. The check out staff is awesome and very explanatory with dental benefits and how they work. I feel better knowing that these people are willing to go the extra mile for me. I will forever be grateful.

Positive experience: I really wish I could leave a better review but today my son and I are leaving Lane & Associates. The Office Manager and Regional manager would rather lose two patients than to make dental trays after I lost mine. After my braces were removed last year, the Orthodontist told me that after my first cleaning I would be able to receive whitening trays. I went for my cleaning and a small cavity was found in my lower front and I needed it filled prior to receiving the whitening trays. I had it filled and received my molds and eventually received the trays/whitening. Long story short I lost my trays which was from me being careless. Never put your trays in a paper towel when you take them out. Today, I got my teeth cleaned and asked about getting new trays to replace the ones I lost. Well, that didn't happen. I was told they were not able to make new trays until I get a back tooth pulled that's not bothering me but there is a cavity there. The dentist that was covering for the dentist that was on maternity leave should not have approved my trays initially. I feel that since I have the mold and it was approved by another dentist AND my x-rays were there for her to look at it shouldn't be a problem melting plastic to create upper and lower trays that probably would L&A pennies to make. I never gave this office a problem because that's not my personality. I never missed an Orthodontist payment and paid the General Dentistry when needed to be. It was up to the Office Manager and Regional Manager's discretion, and they decided to lose two good patients. I will escalate this further but needed to put my experience out there in case someone has the same issue. I gave this office 3 stars as the rest of the staff including the dentist made me feel like I mattered as a patient.

Fantastic experience: I had my first root canal and was a little nervous. But the whole team walk me step through step of the process and with no pain after the procedure. I would highly recommend them.

Theresa is also a wonderful hygienist/tech. She was so accommodating today when I had to bring my children with me. She and Dr. Mike explained procedures, tools and answered all of their questions and really engaged them in the visit! It was very helpful and encouraging to watch them include my kiddos instead of seeing them as being a bother! I’m very thankful I go to Lane and Associates. My experience with Lane has been a great experience and Dr. Kinno hands down is the best with a needle. The staff is wonderful. Fantastic experience: I am not a person who feels comfortable at all going to the dentist. However, as long as we live, we are going to have to go to the dentist. I chose Dr. Lane and Associates in Dunn because they are close and had readily available appointments that worked best for me. It was a blessing for me that I was originally scheduled with Dr. Michael. He has the perfect personality for people with dental phobias like I have. He made me feel so comfortable within the first few minutes of meeting him. He and his assistants continually assure that I am doing alright at each and every appointment. The ladies who check me in and check me out have the sunniest dispositions. All the employees get along so well and work so cohesively as a team. The office has a very professional and laid back environment meshed into one, which is the perfect environment for patients of all ages. As long as Dr. Michael and his girls are in the Dunn office, I will be their number fan. They have made my life so much easier when it comes to my dental life.

Fantastic experience: I had an excellent appointment today. This was my first time scheduling a dentist appointment for myself (the first time around the receptionist seemed a tad impatient). I assume that was because I was confused with some of the questions I was asked. The receptionist was very nice and friendly while checking me in the day of my appointment though. The hygienist was very welcoming and a southern bell. She did an amazing job cleaning my teeth and made jokes which eased my anxiety. She very happily explained what she was performing as well. Thankfully I received good news during my appointment. The doctor was very in and out simply due to there not being any issues. The hygienist/ assistant did an excellent job helping me understand my x rays as well. I would recommend this place to others as long as you strive for a morning appointment.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Mike is the greatest dentist I've ever had. With severe anxiety, him along with his assistants, Anita, Melissa, and Kathy, get me thru my appointments with much less stress. Angie is my hygienist. She is very easy but gets the cleaning done well. I love seeing her knowing I have nothing to worry about. From Lenora, the receptionist, and Bobbie who keeps the office running smoothly, you can't ask for nicer ladies.

Negative experience: Very expensive. Very rough and painful cleaning. I have sensitive teeth and she wouldn't stop when I was struggling. Signed release to have x-rays sent to new dentist. They emailed them to me not what I asked for. Wouldn't recommend

Fantastic experience: They were able to squeeze me in because I was having major mouth pain. Dr Chung took the time to review my chart, addressed my concerns, & helped walk me through what my next steps look like. He was so patient & understanding. He also revisited my chart for what I had planned & updated it when I asked about functionality of what I was originally thinking. I would not have been happy in the long run so he walked me through recommendations based on the reality of what I have going on. Flash forward to check out. As I was talking to Bobbi at checkout who was determining insurance & out of pocket costs. She was not quick to hand me a printout & send me on my way. She took the time to go over what was printed out, what I can expect, costs, etc, but she is also helping me coordinate with upstairs what the sequence of events will be. Last but not least, Elizabeth deserves a huge shoutout for ALWAYS making me feel heard & respected addressing my concerns with my dental care, insurance .. Honestly whatever the need may be. She makes miracles happen. In the past, another dentist office was fast to dismiss my concerns & told me it would be approximately 6 months to get me in for a simple tooth extraction. Elizabeth was able to get me squeezed in because of the situation & I have remained a loyal Lane & Associates patient ever since all because she LISTENED. Thank you all!

Positive experience: So Dr John was pretty great, knew exactly what he was doing. But man, it was some assistant who unfortunately had a few scary moments. She dropped a few things on the ground, which is alright I get it happens sometimes. But also she dropped some pea sized metal thing after snapping it off down my throat and grabbed it with her fingers. There were other things grabbed with the fingers a lot. Which I don't really know if your supposed to do that. However I feel like the ultimate goal of the appointment was completed pretty normally.

Fantastic experience: I had just about given up, trying to find a Dentist in North Carolina when I found lane and associates they have been so patient and kind and helpful. I had a root canal and fillings here and everytime they are courteous and kind & make sure I’m comfortable and taken care of. I love the staff because they explain the process & they worked to contact my insurance and get the information and claim taken care of they go above and beyond and always make sure you’re happy. 10/10

Negative experience: If I could do 0 stars I would. This is not a good place at all to go to. I have a chronic issue with my jaw that requires surgery, it causes me to be unable to keep my jaw open for too long, or else it will lock up/possibly dislocate. I have told them this multiple times, and each time they would force me to keep my mouth open even when I told them I had to take a break. Yesterday, Angie was working on my teeth, and she ripped my metal retainer off of my tooth. I told her it hurt and to stop, and she told me I should be flossing better and that “the glue wears off”. If that was the case, I wouldn’t have been almost crying because of the pain. She then told me I’d have to go to my orthodontist to get it fixed and that they weren’t going to fix what they broke. The only reason the dentist did fix it was because my dad snapped at him. The dentist didn’t even put my retainer back on correctly, he put it on top of my tooth instead of behind it, and then tried to make me pay for the thing they broke. Because of this, it’s extremely hard to eat because I am in extreme discomfort and my tooth aches from where they ripped my retainer off. Don’t go here, and do not go to Angie.

Fantastic experience: I do not generally like the idea of going to the dentist. I broke a tooth however and had no option. The staff was very nice and accommodating. They were very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. The Dentist was very professional,and swiftly removed the offending tooth. It was quick and painless wich is all I could possibly ask for. Fantastic experience: I have a not insignificant amount of anxiety around the dentist and I hadn’t been in far too long. I have a tooth that needs extracting and now that I’ve had an initial appointment to get that scheduled, I can honestly say I’m so glad that I chose this place. Everyone has been exceptionally kind and understanding, and I’m glad to be able to take the next steps I need to take to get rid of the pain I’ve been suffering through for a good while. I am confident that the day of the procedure will be just as smooth.

I am beyond grateful to all the hard caring workers that attended me through out my oral surgery and after, if you are looking for a good dentist this is the place. 10 outta 10 experience would recommend if you are in the mist!!! Fantastic experience: First time going with my 2 year old who usually freaks out but they were gentle and kind, talked him through what they were doing and that helped a lot. Dr Tori was very attentive to my concerns and thoroughly checked my kids teeth and explained everything! Would definitely recommend!

The whole office has been friendly and professional since day one. The dentist is AMAZING! He is thorough and has a great demeanor that puts you ease. I actually don’t mind going to the “dentist” anymore. I have two teens that go here; they give it a five stars as well. If you’re looking for dentist home, you have found it.

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience at Lanes & Associated Family Dentistry in Dunn. They were very patient, friendly and helpful. I have had a root canal surgery done and fillings done. They answered all of my questions and listened to my concerns.
