Fantastic experience: De Beache and her assistants were outstanding! The front desk ladies were so nice as well! People need to remember that this is not a regular dentist office. It is an emergency one. Just as in the possible long waits in a medical emergency center versus a regular doctor’s visit. I saw all efforts and professionalism to keep up, but they never know what yo expect when they take a patient back. Best to try to get an earlier appointment, but it just depends who else walks in ahead. I was very impressed by how hard they all worked and relied on each other to service the patients without losing the quality to their work and respect for the patients.

Fantastic experience: Had a broken “replacement tooth” that needed to be re-glued in my mouth. Was one of my two front upper teeth. Wanted it taken care of quickly, and I’m between dentists. I was a “walk-in” and Dr Ervin did a wonderful job! Was very impressed by the service.

Positive experience: The ladies at the front counter were extremely nice and as helpful as they could be, I got there 5 mins before my appointment and was not called back for almost an hour. I was seen by a tech briefly then sat alone in a room for almost another hour before the doctor came and did a brief exam. Everyone was nice but it was an extremely long wait considering I had called and scheduled a time to come in, I was never given any explanation as to why it took so long either. Care was good tho.

Negative experience: After sitting in the cold waiting room patiently from 5pm to 7:30 pm I was finally brought to the back with a tooth ache. I could barely talk only for the nurse and doctor to ask me the same questions separately. It hurt to talk and all I needed was to be given an antibiotic and pain medicine to hold me until my appointment to get my crown retreated. I told them to send the prescription to the closest cvs across from the community north hospital and they sent it to the one off 86th and Westfield. SMH. Then I called to tell them it wasn’t there and they told me I had to wait till the doctor was done. I had to have another 24 hour cvs transfer it over only to get my script around 10:30 pm!

Fantastic experience: Exceptional Care for My 91-Year-Old Grandmother I can’t say enough good things about Same Day Dental and Dr. Beache. My 91-year-old grandmother has dementia and had been experiencing mouth pain but wouldn’t open her mouth for any dental care. We called all over Indiana trying to find a dentist who works with dementia patients—even contacted IU School of Dentistry—but after more than a month of calls and no response, we were left frustrated and worried. Dr. Beache was the only dentist who was able to gently and patiently get my grandmother to open her mouth so they could complete an exam. Thanks to her compassionate approach, we finally know what’s going on and have a clear plan to move forward with her care. From the moment we walked in, the front desk staff and entire team were polite, professional, and made us feel welcomed and supported. Dr. Beache took her time to talk with my grandmother, explain every step, and comfort her through the process with so much care and patience. This office truly went above and beyond when no one else would. I highly recommend Same Day Dental and Dr. Beache to anyone—especially families with elderly or dementia patients. They are a true blessing!

Negative experience: Don’t go here. It’s been 4 months and I still can’t eat right after a cavity filling! They rush bc they don’t have enough doctors or dental staff whatever you wanna call it . If you read other reviews they’ll try to gaslight them. Just don’t they are horrible. Your procedure could be five minutes they make you wait for 3 hours. Your better off going somewhere else,

Negative experience: I got my bottom wisdom teeth removed from this place yesterday. I got there at 11:40 a.m (20 minutes early for my noon appointment) I was called back at 1:20. Didn't get sedative til 2:30. Sedative didn't work so they gave me a second round at 3 p.m. To make a long story short, they kept forgetting about me. They got one tooth out around 6p.m. They said they would give me a 10 minute break for tooth #2. They rushed into the room after 55 minutes of waiting. At this point they were closed. I could tell they were turning off lights. My husband was in his car and could see employees cleaning up inside the office. They rushed to take my 2nd wisdom tooth out, which happened to be my problem tooth. They then didn't explain how my prescriptions should be taken etc. I left their office at 8:10. They repeatedly forgot about me and put other clients to priority and not me. I had to pay $1500 because I do not have health insurance. They also never told me my designated driver needed to stay on the premises for the entire procedure. My husband stayed in his car for 6 hours. They told me the procedure would take 40 minutes. Sedation would take 30 mins (60 mins since it didn't work the first time) Why was I there for 8 hours? Because they forgot about me. Would not recommend going here.

Fantastic experience: Dr Ervin and his team are always amazing with my husband and I. We have been going there for a few years atleast. I had an emergency today and they took such great care, and they are all so loving, laid back, and great at running everything! For being an emergency dental place, they do not over charge. They do not do anything that is unnecessary and have time for everyone. And the energy of everyone that works there is so cool to watch. They act like family and have fun while working and maintaining focus on everything that needs to be done. Did I mention he is amazing at novicane shots. Almost painless. Also my husband has a severe fear of the dentist and they have helped him so much get through every appointment which has never happened until he started seeing dr Ervin and his team. I would highly recommend the Castleton location for your dental emergency! Friendly, fast, and efficient!! I was in town and of all times at tooth I ignored to get a root canal on announced itself loudly!! I was in so much pain. I wasn’t even sure if I would be able to get it pulled because of the pain. But Dr Ervin and his assistant took great care of me the pain I had 2 days ago is gone!!! He number me so good i accidentally bit his finger because I couldn’t feel a thing ! He said he wouldn’t charge me extra! Thank yall so much!!

Negative experience: If you go, visit then when the female dentist is there I’ve been to both and there is a BIG BIG BIG DIFFERENCE. The female dentist is how it should be the guy I went to today it was like personal for me like this is his way to release his anger and I’m not soft I’m not liberal I have a high pain tolerance. The dentist that was there today shouldn’t be there but the female one is awesome

Fantastic experience: Dr Ervin by far best dentist (magic hands) I've had so far definitely recommend. The assistants were pleasant and nice as well especially NuNu she was very welcoming and just had a warmth and comforting ora about her... Overall great experience going in for emergency extraction. I will say I was told my script was called in before I left.. it was towards end of day... But I ended up calling 3x and waiting until after they was closed to finally get my scripts. But the visit itself I couldn't ask for better.

Negative experience: I had a terrible experience waited 4 hours to see dr. He quickly examined me said I needed 5 teeth pulled( I had terrible pain in my whole mouth for a while) and walked out of the room No discussion about treatment. Waited another 2 hours, when he finally came in to numb me, it didn't work I felt everything but he didn't stop. By the time I was done the pharmacy was closed do no pain pills was there a total of 5 hours. One of the worst experiences in my life.

Fantastic experience: I went in at the wrong time. I thought my appointment was 10am, turns out it was 1pm. They saw me as a walk in . Everyone was super nice, office was a little busy as it was Saturday, so I had to wait awhile. No pain , the doctor was great. I was out by 12:30. I'd recommend.

Fantastic experience: Called today around 12 because my filling fell out yesterday. I was able to come in at 1:30 and was done by 3! It would've taken less time, but they also quickly delt with a cavity that had been bothering me. Negative experience: I've been there twice. I told them I have bad anxiety and bad experience with dentists... the first time they gave me extra numbing to the point I couldn't feel my nose or eye lid but don't remember much past that bc I couldn't afford any other Anastasia....it worked though! That went great.. for that tooth pull Had to have another one pulled 2 weeks later, this time they claimed to have given me extra numbing but I could feel everything, they said that if i couldnt feel my lip i was numb enough! I was in tears, screaming, crying, could hear everything, feel everything.. ! I told them, they knew, they claimed to give me more but said there were no notes from the time before and just needed to finish! I was traumatized... the first one was a man and the second a women. I won't go back if she is there again. I am to the point i wont go back there at all, it was the worst experience ive ever had. The second time but the first was great. I don't understand!

Negative experience: Gave me incorrect information, told me they would see me wife on a payment plan just to tell us it would be 150$ up front. Waste of time.

Typically, I avoid the dentist at all costs—I’d much rather endure the pain from these tattered, rotting remnants of teeth from a bygone era than even consider stepping foot in a dental office. However, this experience was truly a revelation. Dr. Ervin’s advanced techniques, coupled with clear and reassuring explanations from both him and his staff, made every step of the process both enlightening and stress-free. The genuine warmth and professionalism of his outstanding team provided a level of patient comfort that is unmatched in dental care. Hands down, this was the best dental experience I’ve ever had, and without a doubt, Dr. Ervin is the best dentist in Indiana.

Negative experience: My wife called 3 days before I called to confirm they took my anthem blue cross blue shield they said they did they also said they had payment plans I tripple checked and expressed the importance of it because I didn't want to waist 35$ for an uber and they not see me......WELL they don't take my insurance they dont hav3 a payment plan and im still in freaking tears and pain then the lady up front shut the window in my face and says sorry cant help you. .

Positive experience: I'm satisfied with my service the only thing I didn't like was that it was like 20 below zero in the dentist office I was freezing. They brought me a small heater, and a blanket.

Fantastic experience: I shared a former traumatic dentist experience with the staff and the Dentist, before my procedure and I was having an anxiety attack, before the procedure even started. I've had a Root Canal, Crown, and two extractions and all were painless and professional. My Crown looks great and is identical to my original tooth! The staff and Dentist helped me overcome my anxiety and treated me with the greatest care and compassion. They made sure my experience was painless and made me feel free to express how I felt. By the way...their pricing is very reasonable, for those with no insurance.
