Fantastic experience: The last two times ive been into get my teeth taken care of ive seen Amanda K. She's been absolutely amazing she doesnt rush, does it right the first time and makes me feel cared for and comfortable. I really appreciate her kindness

Fantastic experience: Crystal has been kind, thoughtful, and patient every time I have brought my children in. My 2 year old, who is on the fence with new people, took well to her! She is quick, yet very efficient. Thank you Crystal, for yet again, a wonderful experience. Sidenote, they have a cute interactive waiting room for kids to be entertained during any wait.

Negative experience: Cancel appointments after appointment never can get you in Dr always taking days off and cancel appointments with out telling you, will leave you with broken teeth after they break em and don't fix them PLEASE IF YOU WANT A GOOD DENTIST DONT USE THIS PLACE THEY ARE A JOKE AND DONT GUVE A DAMN ABOUT THERE PATIENTS, THEY JUST HERE TO COLLECT A CHECK TOLD ME I COULDNT GET MY TOOTH FIILLED AND NEEDED ROOT CANAL WENT ELSE WHERE AND WAS FIXED AND TOLD DEFF. NO ROOT CANAL, MY OL LADY WENT FOR A TOOTH EXTRACTION AND THEY PULLED THE WRONG TOOTH AND BROKE THE ONE THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE PULLED AN KEFT HALF OF IT STILL IN HER MOUTH, THIS OKACE IS A JOKE

Negative experience: Called me in to “exam” my child’s mouth , which X-rays were done somewhere else already and only needed to come here to use in network insurance to get a tooth extraction on my teen son ! As you can see never happen ! Charge insurance $70 for a BS visit

Negative experience: You guys hurt too much. After my fillings, I'm finding a much better dentist. My older brother used to use your service and he's been happy ever since he left there. Will be going somewhere else.

Negative experience: I am not a person who leaves reviews but I felt the need to! I called Monday 4/21/2025 because my back tooth had broke and I was in a lot of pain, they couldn’t get me in until the following Tuesday 4/29/2025, which is understandable I know places are busy. The pain got worse and I called to get an emergency appointment. I was told to show up at 11 and they will fill me in, I got there at 11 checked in and sat and waited. After waiting 1.5 hours I found out they were having an office meeting, I was the only patient in the building even before their meeting. No one told me that they were going to have a meeting so I would be waiting even longer. It’s like I wasn’t even there! I understand schedules get busy and you forget things! I called a new dentist and they were able to get me in the NEXT day with NO.problems, even being a new patient. If I could give 0 starts I would! Not to mention, whenever I went to the dentist and My community Dental Center they were very rude and very rough with my teeth. They really do not care about their patients. I do not recommend them at all

Fantastic experience: I came in sick to my stomach with so much anxiety and fear. I haven’t been to a dentist in more than a decade. Crystal, I want to thank you so much for the comfort and support you gave to me during my appointment. While I cried you stopped me in my tracks and helped me get through my feelings and even offered me a hug (which was the most comforting hug) some tissues and a fidget toy. I appreciate that more than you’ll ever know. ❤️ your fun, silly, and loving character helped me get me through that appointment. Thank you for being you.

Fantastic experience: Had a very pleasant experience. It’s been a minute since I’ve been to the dentist. Life happens. Had my teeth cleaned by Crystal, who is awesome. She didn’t make me feel bad about it being so long since I’ve been. I didn’t feel judged. 10/10 recommend.

Fantastic experience: Friendly service from the front desk, all the way back to the dentist and hygienist. Been going there for years and enjoy my visits. Crystal one of the hygienist really makes your day. She is very friendly, and down to earth. I enjoy having her work on my teeth. She is FANTASTIC and does her job very well! Your whole team is amazing I give you all a A+++...........I had to put an update, I no longer go to this place. The female left and everything just got bad. I will never go back there. Don't want to be to mean but worst dentist office ever!!!!!

Negative experience: Great people on my first appointment. I was informed of everything I needed to know about the program for me. I look forward to my next appointment. Months had passed. I called them and was informed by the office manager that I was not going to be a patient. I inquired why, she said I had no dental insurance. She hung up on me. I called back. I asked her why I was not informed? She said it was NOT her responsibility to know my insurance coverage. I said that was a mistake. I have BCBS Advantage dental insurance. She hung up. I really needed help. I contacted BCBS. The representative couldn't believe it. She excused herself and called Community Dental. She got the same rude behavior and was hung up on too. Instructed me to find another dentist. I tried to call the Doctor, but kept getting told he was out of the office/country until 2025. BOYCOTT AND RUN AWAY!

Fantastic experience: This is by far the most amazing Dental Clinic I have ever been to. As soon as you walk in Danielle at the front desk makes you feel warm and welcome. All the girls up front are amazingly kind. Crystal wins the award for most brilliant dental hygenist to walk on the face of this planet. She goes above and beyond EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. And if you have kiddos who aren’t taking brushing and flossing seriously she’s got your back and reminds them all the reasons why it’s so important! When I found out Dr. Shrikian was leaving I cried in the office quite literally. Then I meant Dr.Weiss. I was instantly at ease. He’s calm, caring, thorough, and does a wonderful job at explaining your options for treatment. Thank you all so muchI’m so thankful for you all

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience! Crystal/Krystal, was superb! She was thorough and just explained everything so it was clear! And made sure I was comfortable and had options!! So worth the wait!

Negative experience: I had a very unprofessional experience with this office. They canceled on me several times some without notice. Several times I took off work and drove 40 minutes to get to the office only to be told my appointment was canceled. Once I got a call saying they could get me in at 1120 . I told them I'm 40 minutes away so I'd be there right at 1120 or just a few minutes past. I left work again and drove the distance again, arrived at exactly 1120 and they refused to see me be i was supposed to be the 10 mins in advance to fill out papers but my paperwork was completed 2 weeks prior so no need for the extra time. Then to top it off they scheduled me an appointment on a Tuesday and I told them Tuesday does not work at all. So I heard nothing else until Tuesday asking why I didn't show for my appointment that I clearly explained on the day they scheduled it that I could not do that day. 2 days later I get notice that because of missed appointments I can no longer go to any of their facilities, yet I showed up at their office for every appointment. 2 years dealing with this unprofessional office. I was on the waiting list for over a year and went to my appointment after all that wait time and they canceled on me when I was there. I've also previously called several times to be seen as an emergency because of tooth pain and left several msgs , with no response..and this was in the beginning. I should have recognized the unprofessionalism back 2 yrs ago. Personally I would not recommend this place. Even the employees complain about working their, in front of patients. Particularly the hygienist. Not good at all for a public health facility.

Positive experience: Works very well with my 15 year old son. Respect and listen to what he says and explain in detail what he should be doing better when brushing his teeth.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit in 16 years and I’m terrified of the Dentist. They made my appointment so easy and everyone was so nice and laid back. I told them I was terrified and they made me feel so comfortable. They didn’t make fun of me or laugh. I absolutely love this place! Thank you so much for making me feel comfortable and listening to me as well.

Fantastic experience: Everyone seemed very nice and caring especially with everything I have going on health wise and in my mouth. They seemed through and took lots of x-rays and photos for just the first visit. I look forward to going back and receiving further care.

Fantastic experience: Was seen on an emergency basis and treated with compassion. I had the best X-Ray tech! She made me feel like I mattered not just another number. I can not remember her name but she has short hair and lot’s of tattoos! She was very honest and educational. Thank you! My dentist was a male, he was very kind, caring and compassionate to my work situation as well. I work for the charlotte urgent care, my tooth needed out. This dentist that I had, had an already full schedule but fit me in anyway. Thank you all so very much. I would recommend y’all to anyone! Just an fyi I did read in another review that someone was not happy with a cancelled appointment, honestly y’all there are very clear on their policies… we need to call and confirm with them. I get it. So big thank you to y’all for outstanding patient care!

Fantastic experience: My hygienist that I had was amazing very gentle and thorough with my teeth because I have a tooth on the top that needs a new replacement filling and a tooth on the bottom that is cracked I would highly recommend

Negative experience: I had an appointment on July 29th to get my teeth cleaned. I got 3 reminders of the appointment. When I got there they had canceled my appointment but no one called me to tell me that. It’s 20 miles for me to drive there. They said I needed to see the dentist at some point this year and that’s why they canceled because the dentist was sick. Yet I was in there on January 22nd and saw the dentist then. They said to call to reschedule. They never answer the phone. I leave messages and I never get a returned call. I use to love this place. Lately they have become a big disappointment

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit here. The staff is very personable and respectful. The building was easy to find, very clean, and accessible. I appreciate the hygienist that saw me today and all of the advice she gave...she was very easy going (and hilarious, thank you for easing the tension). The doctor answered all questions and concerns regarding treatment and future plans. It was an all around great experience at the dentist after not seeing one for so long. They take adult medicaid and are close to home without hitting the highway. 10/10 recommend!

Fantastic experience: I use to go here for dental care up until 9 yrs ago and I was always very happy, then I moved. I am so glad to be able to return. Everyone is always kind and helpful and takes care of all my dental needs.

Negative experience: Do not bother with this dental clinic! If I could I would give them zero stars! Takes months to get seen only to get a call a day or two before day of appointment to tell you they’re short staffed and need to reschedule! A filling that they put in fell out over a year ago and I’ve been waiting to get fixed. Unacceptable!!! I believe that I have been more than accommodating and for them to keep postponing me is just not right no matter what.

Fantastic experience: I was worked in for my appointment...I really appreciated this, as I had a minor issue causing bleeding and was overdue for xrays and cleaning. The new Xray machine is easy and wonderful...easiest way to eliminate concerns about tooth health. My cleaning was thorough and detailed...I am scheduled for my next cleaning in six months...all good!

Fantastic experience: June 11 2024 I’m a new patient to this office. I became a patient from A Traumatic emergency to me that I needed a tooth pulled. That day I had 3 teeth pulled. They took me right in even though I wasn’t a current patient. Since decided to stay. I have very high anxiety for dentist offices. Best care I’ve ever had. I’m pretty proud of myself for making it to the appointments to the dentist and it’s because of their kind gentle nature and experience they showed me. So thank you My community dental center for professional experienced care you provided me. I will come back instead of running away.

Fantastic experience: MCDC is the *best.* I'm on Medicaid, which makes finding dental care that I can afford frustrating. MCDC takes Medicaid for all my cleanings and fillings, even crowns. For things they can't do, like root canals, they refer me to other offices that take Medicaid so I can afford quality dental treatment. Everyone at the office is very nice. The hygienists and dentists are kind and thoughtful and they answer your questions honestly. Crystal is especially awesome, she's my favorite hygienist at any office I've ever been to. They have my full recommendation, no hesitation.

Fantastic experience: Amazing staff. My seven year old went in for a cleaning and ended up getting a tooth pulled. They walked him right through it and got him through it with ease. His hygienist even stayed in the room with him during the extraction, per request. ❤️ I left in happy tears. My two and a half year old son threw the biggest fit and they kept reassuring me it was ok. A mother's dream trip to the dentist. I wish I remembered our hygienists name!!!!

Negative experience: Constantly canceling my appointments made top and bottom partials top partial wont fit had them work on top partial 2 times still dont fit and bottom partial never should have been made have to have oral surgery first theres a bone under my tongue that has to be removed i tried to go to a new dentist but they wont work on partials from another dentist and my insurance wont pay for another set so i have no choice but to remain with this dental office.

Negative experience: The one and only time I got in at the Charlotte office, it was amazing. The dentist assistant was super friendly. Since then I've had a whole year of cancellations and reschedules on their end including my latest appointment (at LEAST 4 if not 5). Not attempting rescheduling this time. Going to find a dentist office that at least pretends to care.

Fantastic experience: Went in today for a procedure. They were able to fit into much needed fillings that I needed. One was a deep one cause the older one had fell out and made that tooth a "food trap". Dr and the assistant were awesome I never had so much fun at a dentist!! They were funny and their teamwork was great. Not supposed to be laughing during the procedures but I was because they were so funny and I actually look forward now to my next dentist appointment because of them

Fantastic experience: I've been a patient for over 10 years + have always appreciated the care I receive from the hygienists, dentists + staff! I've had two amazing hygienists in this time. Since my first hygienist left the practice I've been with Chrystal for the past 5 years. She is thorough, gentle, knowledgeable, funny, and, most importantly, committed to ensuring that patients feel comfortable + are well-informed of the process throughout their appointment (including about insurance coverage). She also provides helpful tips + resources for dental care between visits. You can tell she is passionate about her vocation + enjoys her workplace. The staff is professional. The facility is clean. The wait time is reasonable. I also appreciate that they send text reminders several days in advance to confirm or cancel your appointment as well as a reminder on the same day of your appointment.

Fantastic experience: I have been to many dentists and this one is the best. I usually have high anxiety and panick attacks for and during dental treatments. I found that because of the laid back nature of the staff and the quick and painless dental work by the doctor, I found that the anxiety that I was experiencing just melted away. I no longer need to take anxiety meds beforehand and I leave the office feeling very happy and thankful.

She made sure I was comfortable with everything so did the dentist. But Crystals got the best personality ever. The rest of the staff was also so kind and patient. Love their humor. Great place. I highly recommend them and I drive a half hr.

Fantastic experience: Crystal/Christal is one of the best people i have met in the medical industry. Always concerned about your needs, feelings and pains. She makes sure you are entirely comfortable, in the chair, in the office and with the tools inside your mouth. 10/10 (ive gotten almost complete oral surgery, dentures and cleanings here)

Positive experience: This place was great, it was clean & pleasant, office ran smoothly, definitely not what I thought it would be for a place taking straight Medicare/Medicaid. The staff was Excellent! I wasn't able to get anything done due to an upcoming procedure, but they explained everything I needed & why we couldn't do it right now. They were very understanding, up front & helpful, developed a plan of action & even handled paperwork to do so. Overall I give it a 4 as I don't normally do 5's cause there's always room for improvement somewhere. It was a "fantastical" visit.

Negative experience: Made multiple appointments and waited for 6 months to see their dentist. One of my appointments was cancelled and rescheduled for 3 months later (9 months wait) The other they stated less than an hour before my appointment they couldn't see me for future appointments without full mouth X-rays because insurance demanded it but would only pay for them every 5 years. Communication of this need for X-rays would have been important since there was 6 months in which to procure them. Multiple dental insurances and no care... WOW!

Negative experience: One of the worst places to go to for a dentist, the receptionists are very rude and will all be in the office and refuse to take calls. They will find any reason to drop you as a patient if I could rate lower then one star I would not recommend going here they also use a platform to boost there own ratings probably because they treat everyone there terribly I hope Mcdc gets replaced by a dentistry that will treat people better what a joke this place is.

Fantastic experience: The lady (Crystal) who cleans my teeth regularly and did my sealants today is awesome! Great staff! So friendly! They make you feel at home! I usually get so nervous about going to the dentist office but she really helps alleviate my anxiety.

Fantastic experience: This is the most positive and upbeat dental office I have ever been to! My children and myself LOVE it here! Crystal is amazing and kept my kids, both very different personalities, smiling and engaged the entire visit. My daughter could not stop talking about her after the visit. She absolutely adored her and Crystal has encouraged my kids to actually take care of there teeth! She was awesome! Lindsey was pretty amazing as well! Very funny person with a bright personality. Positive experience: Had some interesting scheduling and xray/exam issues (not the fault of this offices current staff!) and they fixed the error. Crystal is hysterical and a wealth of knowledge. Highly appreciated her! Can't wait to have her clean my teeth

Fantastic experience: Since moving, I went in to my last appt thinking this would be my last trip to Charlotte as I might as well find someplace closer to home. I had completely changed my mind upon leaving my appt! I was paired with Crystal, and she so down to earth, entertaining, caring, knowledgeable, and helpful. I look forward to my trip to the out of town dentist 6 months from now.

Fantastic experience: Super friendly staff!! I have severe dental anxiety and they always talk me through it. Chrystal is my favorite hygienist! I drive from Ionia just so I can see her :)

Negative experience: I had a cleaning appointment scheduled which took over 8 months to get and then they called me the day before the appointment and asked to up my appointment time. So I got off work earlier and got to my appointment on time and I was informed that they would have to cancel, because I need to also see the doctor and he was not in. After taking off work and driving 45 minutes, I am done with this office. They did the same thing with my daughter and this is not the first time they have canceled one of my appointments!

Fantastic experience: I took my 7 yr old for a cleaning, it was his first time going to this dentist and Crystal made it so fun for him! He can’t wait to go back! Crystal was by far the best dental assistant I’ve ever experienced!! Dentist was great as well. Everyone there was very inviting and friendly!!

Fantastic experience: Crystal did amazing with my 2 year old! He had the best experience, he didn’t even want to leave. She’s super sweet and made me feel so much better about his first appointment. Everyone there is very nice and welcoming and I will definitely keep taking him there!

Fantastic experience: The whole stuff is so welcoming nice caring and just outstanding! I would 100% recommend this dental center to anyone. The new doc went out of his way to help me get my smile back and I couldn’t be happier. I went in for two fillings and he did four. He made sure I was comfortable the whole time and kept checking on me. The best dentistry I’ve been to.

Positive experience: The dentist was amazing and talked me through everything. I have always been afraid of the dentist but he has changed my mind. His hygienist was just as amazing I came in for an emergency extraction and we told I would have to wait a month and the other tooth that was broken they didn't even mention I had to ask for an appointment and thet will take another month. My mouth has never hurt so bad and I was sent home with absolutely nothing done. I am having second thoughts

Fantastic experience: This is a great place for dental cleaning. I signed up Thursday last week for a first patient visit and was fit in the following week in a cancellation spot. Crystal was who did my cleaning and she is pretty amazing and has a great attitude. Basing this review solely off of my experience with Crystal. Thank you for being great! ✌️

Fantastic experience: My hygienist Crystal is one of the most amazing hygienists I have seen. She’s always kind, personable, and does a wonderful job addressing concerns and taking her time to clean my teeth.
