Negative experience: This isn’t about the dentists or assistants, just the front desk and management. I had a 4:00 PM appointment and still hadn’t been seen by 5:00 PM, so I left. While waiting, I received emails from Sunbit saying PHD Lynwood updated my address (incorrectly, by the way) and pre-approved $1,492 for a visit that never happened. I hadn’t been seen, signed anything, or spoken to anyone beyond checking in. When I asked the front desk, I was told, “I don’t run Sunbit,” with no willingness to help. I understand Sunbit is a separate company, but since PHD partners with them and the emails are coming from your office’s actions, the least you can do is act like you care. Extremely disappointing experience.

Fantastic experience: I will start off this way, I did not get everyone names in the dentist office, but one, Jeniffer Reyes the treatment coordinator because she gave me her card, but her, and everyone I encountered was absolutely amazing at their job, & the customer service I received was outstanding. Thank you to all, for your patience’s with the Wiseman family, I know Lukys, today was a handful in there, and we’re sorry about that. The next time should be way better, lol, again tho, thank you. You know, I really can’t say it enough, & I don’t want to overly do it with the praising, but WOW!!! Really from the customer service to even right down to the cleanliness of the building was amazing. At the end of the day, you have to give credit were credit is due, and in this regard, it comes highly in my opinion. Nothing in life is perfect, sometimes we have to roll with the punches & there are those times things go well..... well I saw EFFORT, and in my opinion that’s all you can ask for of a person, or a place of business, is EFFORT!!! Effort is a cool way of having a nice balance to yourself; so that you have that opportunity to put things in better perspective ..... and that’s what I saw, it was like a well oiled machine, the entire staff made it work smoothly, and not forced. As as customer/patient made me feel more comfortable. I’ll give two examples: one... while I was getting my X-rays done, the communication between the two technicians in regards to using the X-ray went down so smoothly, and both were patient with one another. Another example is when I went back to the X-ray room, and there again something took place, I low key over herd about a customer/patient getting impatient, and once again the staff knew what to do and defused whatever problem could have been. So I say all this to say thank you again, and I want everyone to know, you guys are the best.

Positive experience: At the beginning of the process was going well when they took the x-rays then sent to the room, a nurse then came along with the doctor. I was then explained what was going to be done after the consultation was over, I was given my appointment. I then return because I had crucial pain and was attended by another doctor who helped with the pain. The pain stilled continued, then called again with the hopes of getting a solution to the pain to be resolved and was able to get the help. I was told by the last doctor that I needed to get root canal which I followed to proceed, then the pain was taken away. The doctor became very helpful and then everything became pain-free and was able to get the issue done until the whole procedure was completed. Thank you for everything, in advance.

Negative experience: Very bad service. I made an appointment for 1pm, I arrived 15 minutes early and I still had to wait almost two hours and they didn't attend to me. The women at the front desk were eating and talking the whole time. After more than an hour, they told my wife that she had to go down to the first floor to get x-rays. She also had to wait half an hour and they didn't call her and when she asked, the woman treated her very rudely and told her that she would have to wait longer because it was her first time. There were two other people who were upset about the same situation. If you are going to play with people's time, you should at least be nice and provide good service. Because I remind you that Medical is not free. You charge and charge very well. I want to clarify that the entire time we waited there were only three of us. It's not like they were very busy. They shouldn't schedule lunchtime if they don't have staff to serve us. Train your reception staff.

Negative experience: I would go here with my kids for years ! They made changes ! I use to leave amazing reviews I wanted people to know it was amazing all these changes they did are not for us . I come in one day and now ortho is next door now they’re giving me problems seems like the new people don’t know all the stuff and the plan I had for years now it’s like having to start over ? I mean the staff is polite . But It sucks . I only stayed long because I tried completing the plan but I live far and now it’s not convenient . Looks I owed $600 on my braces I went in and now they want to re - evaluate me and give me a new quote of $3800!? Like what !? When I started my braces it was about $3,200! I was down to owing $600 ! Oh another thing is when they call to confirm my appointments they keep calling my parents house i was visiting the other day and they called I asked why are they calling there I don’t live there and they proceeded with sorry ma’am but can we confirm your appointment ?” What !? I just got ignored ? Hello I don’t live there for the past 6 years that never happened before , also any text that come in to confirm my kids appointment are not even in my name it’s “ __different name ___ you have an appointment for your kids ____,___,___. “ I have no idea why my information is messed up , but good luck y’all ! You’re brave if you go here .

Negative experience: My recent visit to PHD Dental left me utterly disappointed and frustrated. The recurring issue of interminable wait times, coupled with the dentist's unprofessional rudeness, has led me to the decision to seek dental care elsewhere. The consistent long waits were nothing short of exasperating. On every visit, I found myself waiting for an unacceptable amount of time in the waiting area. It's disheartening when a dental appointment takes up a significant portion of the day due to delays that seem to be the norm rather than the exception. To compound my dissatisfaction, the unprofessional behavior displayed by the dentist was shocking. Their rudeness and lack of respect towards patients were both surprising and disconcerting. I believe that professionalism and empathy are paramount in the medical field, and my experience at PHD Dental fell far short of these expectations. Given the ongoing issues and the negative atmosphere created by the long waits and the unprofessional demeanor of the dentist, I have decided to start my search for another dentist who values their patients' time and treats them with the respect they deserve. I share this review with the hope that others can make informed decisions about their dental care. No one should have to endure such disappointing experiences when seeking healthcare.
