Fantastic experience: Friendly and professional office. The staff sevices are organized and they value my time as a patient who has personal/work-life appointments also. Sammy is very conscientious and speedy in her skills as a dental hygienist and has an upbeat demeanor.

My hygienist was so informative and I loved learning more about my teeth, gums, and how to care for them. I felt very comfortable and relaxed. Affordable even with no insurance. I think I found my place!

Fantastic experience: I was there today getting my upper teeth completely removed very little pain afterwards I went from the dentist office in Gilbert to my home in Yuma and I was comfortable the entire ride and when I got home I had my prescriptions ready at the pharmacy I picked them up and I've taken them I would suggest these guys for anybody they go above and beyond and I think them very much for their service today and the anesthesiologist is absolutely fantastic as well as the oral surgeon thank you again very very much for the awesome service today 10:15 of 2025

Fantastic experience: Dental Specialty Associates really helped me in a jam where other dentist couldn't perform the procedure the way I wanted to go about it. They were very accommodating and my teeth are back to their perfection. Thank you Dental Specialty Associates!. Update 09/11/25 came in for a cleaning by Sammie which she always is very kind and informative and just an amazing hygienist. Then had a filling done. By Cindy and Dr. Berger. I was so nervous. Cindy kept me calm so dr. Berger could work his magic. True professionals. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient at DSA in Gilbert for around ten years, mostly for routine cleanings and lately for a new crown. I love the staff and always feel I’m getting the best of care from friendly and pleasant people. Definitely five stars for this practice!

Fantastic experience: Got all 4 wisdom teeth taken out this morning and the experience was way better than I expected. The dentist was super patient and helped me stay calm (even with the needle, which I was nervous about). Few hours post and no swelling, 2/10 pain. Definitely recommend :)

Positive experience: The girl in the front desk wasn’t too friendly even my son ( patient ) told me that the wans’t nice at all, other then that everyone there was very kind.

Was honest, friendly & professional. The hygienist Sammi was super gentle, through and lovely! Explained details of my thooth-issue & even rescheduled me for next time in December. I highly recommend Dr. Berger & his staff!!

Fantastic experience: I just got my wisdom teeth removed yesterday and Dental Specialty Associates were amazing, I'm experiencing basically no swelling and minimal pain. They were quick, easy, and professional. I highly recommend scheduling here if you need wisdom teeth removal or any thing alike!

The hygienist took the time to personalize the experience, explained everything, and did an absolute amazing job cleaning my teeth. The dentist was thorough and quick! Highly recommend! Update: I have been back for two teeth cleanings and two emergency fillings, and the staff and service has always been exceptional. I moved to San Tan Valley shortly after my first dental appointment here, and I will continue to go to them even though it’s a 30+ minute commute from my house!

Fantastic experience: I have a respectful, animosity towards dentists for the nature of the job, but this clinic was fantastic. My technician, Sammy, was delightful, highly intelligent, patient, and gentle. She routinely checked in to see if I was ok and patiently answered all my questions. The dentist, Dr. Burger, was funny and kind. I have found my new dentist and I highly recommend coming here (dental anxiety or not)!

Negative experience: Misinformation with my son.(18yrs old) He needed his 4 wisdom tooth pulled and they tried to make him change to the other extraction which would have been more money out of pocket. We set the appointment just for the 4 wisdom tooth to be pulled which is less money out of pocket. This is part of the reason WHY we left in the first place for our annually cleaning. They don’t submit your cleanings to the insurance company. Pay attention! All lies and want clients to pay out of pocket even when you have insurance.

Fantastic experience: After a fail experience at another location, I decided to take my kids here. At the other location we came in 15mins early, finished the paperwork by 3 (our appt time) then waited for another 40 mins. At 3:40, I asked if my kids were gonna get seen anytime soon, they said "soon, waiting on dr to finish surgery" What?!? So we left that place and made an appt with this place. At this location, we arrived 15mins early to do paperwork and was put in the back by 12:05 ( appt was at 12) and out by 12:40. The staff and doctor were quick and very efficient. The doctor was very professional and easy to ask questions to. I definitely recommend this place. Our appt was for a simple consultation for wisdom tooth extraction.

Fantastic experience: I had sub periostal inplants done over 20 years ago . I had problems with them over the years and no one knew how to fix it. Then I found Dr Berger and he has been a God sent. My issues are not what they were and he Knows how to fix. The whole team is A ok

Fantastic experience: Awesome dentist. I needed a tooth pulled. Everyone was telling me to go for the anesthesia but because I lived too far to make a second trip I just told him to do it without. I thought I was going to be in the chair for 30 to 45 minutes. He pulled the tooth in 10 seconds! Dr. Brian Lilian knows what he is doing. Also, the price was very fair.

I just completed a teeth cleaning with my dental hygienists Sharon. She is great to work with and did an excellent job. She is very pleasant and very attentive as well . She made sure I was comfortable during the session and very thorough. The staff were very friendly and punctual. I highly recommend this dental office!

Fantastic experience: I saw Dr Burger this morning kinda of emergency one of the sockets for my implant came out. You guys got me in and in and fixed it. I will now be enjoying Easter dinner with teeth.

Positive experience: The dentist and hygienists are always wonderful. The thing I dislike the most about this office is the front desk assistant, she seems miserable and does not take the time to explain pricing. She had her keys in her hand so I’m assuming she was going on lunch break and did not care to help me because she would rather go on lunch than explain my services or look up if my coverage has changed (which it has).

Fantastic experience: Went for extraction of wisdom tooth, and tooth in front. GREAT service all the way around. Sat in chair, put to sleep, next thing I know, I was on way home. Very slight sore throat, wouldn't even suspect that I had the surgery after waking up. Even less pain so far the next day!

Fantastic experience: Prior to going here I went to another establishment and was uneasy going back. But thankfully I found Dental Specialty Associates! I felt very comfortable from start to finish. Office was VERY CLEAN, staff was hospitable and took time to answer any and all questions I had! Don’t hesitate just schedule your appointment!

Negative experience: The office did not have the information in the chart and I wanted to leave until they received the information. I was told not to leave and to wait. They received the records and the dentist came into tell me about the treatment plan. He asked about why I was there and I told him that my dentist was having difficulty with billing due to the abutment. He told me that was hard to believe. I had no reason to lie to this doctor and I had the EOBs. I was quoted a price and wanted to pay it and was asked what was wrong. I am not use to a doctor not believing a patient except in more dire circumstances related to pain. The office staff was nice but I should have left.

Fantastic experience: I have waited to complete my review until I was done with all the work I needed. Went for dentures/partial and extractions. The staff is phenomenal and helps the patients navigate the appointments and insurance. The Dentist, Oral Surgeon, Hygienist and Denturist are very personable and actually have concerns for the patient's well being. I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at this practice for a couple of years. The dentist in this practice always does a wonderful job I never have any complaints. I came in this time with tooth pain and needed a root canal. I was referred to a specialist and had my root canal the same day. Dr Geroulis is amazing. I saw Dr Berger today (10/24 ) and he has the best bedside manner you could ask for. You can't go wrong with this practice. The dental hygienist and assistants are top-tier as well. An all-around great place!

Fantastic experience: I was so impressed by the care that I received from this team at Dental Specialty Associates and also by Dr Lilien who was so kind and gentle. I had a little blister like bump on my bottom lip that he removed in less than five minutes the whole procedure took about 15 minutes I didn’t feel any pain at all. It was the most pleasant dental care I have ever experienced. I’m sure he would be just as good at all of his work. I would be happy to recommend him and his team to anyone and when given the chance I will do so. Thank you all so much.

Fantastic experience: The staff was friendly and worked with the twins (Kayden and Kaylee) !! The doctor worked with us with the financial part of the procedure! He was thorough with communicating with the orthodontist and put my questions at ease ! Especially because my twins had a very complicated situation and was turned down by a few other oral surgeons!!!The staff were also very friendly and I would definitely recommend them !

Fantastic experience: Staff are awesome! I had a hard time finding a practice that was comfortable in doing an oral surgery to remove wisdom teeth for my daughter with a few medical conditions. We were happy to find Dental Specialty Associates! They were able to do the oral surgery with no complications. The process was easy and their team is awesome. We appreciate them very much!

Fantastic experience: No complaints at all about my daughter’s procedure but I did have to reach out to them to schedule once my insurance approved which prolonged the appointment. But other than that the communication and explanation and after was very detailed. Will definitely use again if needed

Fantastic experience: Very clean & helpful. My adult son had an emergency situation swollen left side of face. I have an American Bulldog as my service dog ‍. Initially they said that he couldn't be there. Their tone changed when I said that he is a service dog. Overall nice establishment & staff. Even though we had to go back to a hospital to get his situation resolved.

Positive experience: I went in for my first visit because i was impressed with other reviews. I was able to schedule my root canal for the following week easily and was helped in getting financial assistance. The office very clean and comfotable. Usually medical/dental offices are uncomfortable but did not get the uncomfortable feeling in this office. The staff is very kind and helpful. I feel confident in making this my permanent dental provider.

Fantastic experience: Love Dental specialty. Went in for cleaning. It was quick easy and relatively painless. Hygienist is knowledgeable and gentle. Dentists are all very knowledgeable and well informed. I would recommend this place for friends and family. They can even help those who need medication to get through procedures.

Positive experience: The hygienist was very thorough and kind! The dentist was a bit pushy. The secretaries annoy me to no end. I went 3 times, and each time they added an irrelevant charge which I asked to be corrected. They were very curt about it. Also, they could not get a toothpaste prescription correct, I went to the pharmacy 3 separate times and each time, they had sent in the wrong prescription. Pretty frustrating. I eventually just gave up.

Fantastic experience: I live far away and arrived an hour early. I was in for my appointment within 5 minutes. The staff was super helpful and professional and answered all of my questions to my satisfaction. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: As a longtime patient of Dental Specialties, I appreciate the level of care and expertise shown by both Dr. Berger & Dr. Lillian in their Practice. Having been to both locations, Gilbert and Phoenix over the years I find the staff to be efficient and professional. Unlike some offices they don’t recommend needless services. It’s a long drive from Troon but worth the trip and I hardly recommend them. Gary Wright

Fantastic experience: I always have the best experience at this dental office. Even though going to the dentist is the last thing anyone wants to do, the staff, hygienists and dentists always make me feel comfortable and checks in to make sure I’m doing well. My husband and I both feel like they do not pressure you do do unnecessary procedures when they are really not needed. BUT they are fantastic if anything does arise that needs attention. We highly recommend them!

And as always Sharon is just awesome! 8/7/2024 So nice to meet Sammie! She did a wonderful job on my teeth. Sammie is very nice and I look forward to continuing to be her patient.

Negative experience: I will not be returning to this dental office. When scheduling my next appointment, they failed to mention the extra charges and scheduled two appointments. After waiting around a month for the first one, just before beginning the treatment, they presented me with additional charges totaling over $500. This felt like a trap. I took a total of 4 hours off work for these two appointments, which turned out to be a complete waste of time. TRAP!

Fantastic experience: My appointment was at 12:30 I got there at 11:55 and I was taking back to my dentist chair at 12:05 30 minutes early everybody's super nice I was in and out. Next week starts the hard stuff I have to have some teeth actually cut out but I'm not scared anymore because everybody was so kind it makes a huge difference.
