Fantastic experience: Called office and spoke with very kind receptionist. Although a new patient to this dental office, was seen same day afor a broken tooth. Very professional and knowledgeable dentists. Happy with treatment.

Fantastic experience: I am a child of the 60's. And anyone who grew up in that time period knows the dentists were scary, and painful. I hunt bigfoot! Im not scared of grizzly bears. But the dentist terrifies me. Untill I came to IDFG. And Dr Devin Thompson. There's no words to expound on my faith in Doc Devin. He's cool. The staff and assistants are like family.

Fantastic experience: Love the staff here so much. They’re all so friendly and relaxed. Everyone here wants you to have a good experience. Shout out to Ashley! she’s my girl. I used not like Dr. Rhees much when he first started but he’s found his groove, and he’s a talented and wise dentist. Been seeing him since he first came to IFDG and now I wouldn’t switch dentists. Overall this office is friendly and clean. They’re a little slow to process insurance sometimes but that’s my only complaint, and I realize some of that also falls on my insurance company. I don’t even live in Ammon anymore and I still drive across town to come here.

The dental hygentists were so very nice and explained exactly what they were doing beforehand. I felt very comfortable in the chair. In all the years I’ve gone here, I’ve only had to wait one time, and that was only about 10 minutes. An appointment is an appointment. They make you feel like your time is valuable, as well as theirs.

Fantastic experience: I didn't have to wait long before my morning appointment. Brooke, my dental hygienist, was very thorough and answered all questions I had. Brooke took the time to diacuss my cleaning protocol and recommend improvements and feedback. My dentist, Devon, explained each procedure he completed and took ame time to discuss treatments and my concerns. A GREAT dentistry practice. I look forward to my future visits.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Rhees is amazing. Like a gentle giant in your mouth with no pain during or after my root canal. His expertise is the greatest quality. I would highly recommend him and his assistants to anyone afraid of the dentist. The comfort they give is just like family when you walk in. Fantastic experience: I broke one of my crowns Saturday and they were able to get me in at 1:00 Monday. They took off the remaining parts of the broken crown and after making a mold for a new crown, they put a temporary crown on. I was in and out within an hr or so. Great help. I highly recommend the Idaho Falls Dental Group.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Blake Barney combines his impeccable qualifications and extensive training as a prosthodontist to obtain the best solution for your specific dental needs. I began my journey in April of 2022 ( in Phoenix, Arizona), with an upper and lower full-arch implant procedure, which initiated a two-and-a-half- year emotional roller coaster. My most important advice for anyone contemplating this is to spend time researching not only the procedure, but the dentist! Realize that any general dentist can do the work, but they may lack the training to provide for your greatest chance of success.If you are looking to have a full arch or full mouth restoration try to ensure that whoever you choose has actually been trained and has experience with the process. After moving to Idaho Falls, I began working with Dr. Barney (And his amazing team of Katie and Sarah), and he was able to correct many issues that were the result of my experience in Arizona. His credentials are exemplary, his experience is vast, and his skill is incredible, which led to my ability to find closure to a very long and difficult process. Words fail to describe how highly I recommend him. He is a man of skill and integrity, and although I wish I had begun with him on this path, I am extremely grateful he was the dentist who guided me to its conclusion. Fantastic experience: I called this morning and got a same day appointment. I was in so much pain from a tooth that had cracked. Chris Rhees, the dentist went right to work and extracted the tooth in under 6 min. And that was at 3:30pm. I am so thankful tonight at 8pm I am able to ge to bed without so much pain. My family and I have been going to this dental group for about 20 years and they always do a good job and work with me when I don't have all the money to pay my bill after services are complet.

Fantastic experience: I have been with Idaho Falls dental group for many years. I’ve had experience with Dr. Barney and Dr. Scoresby and their staff. I find them all very professional and understanding to my needs when it comes to my dental care rather it’s cleaning my teeth or filling a cavity or preparing for crowns which I have many crowns installed . Overall, I’m very pleased with this dental group.

He makes time for me at my convenience. He replaced a cracked filling for me and it was a pleasant pain free experience and no issues with the new filling. Fantastic experience: I'm very leary of dentists. When I was a teenager, a dentist molested me after he knocked me out with gas. Needless to say, I hold off on going until it is absolutely necessary. I'll bring 70 on my next BD. Idaho Falls Dental group is awesome. They always make me feel so comfortable. They are kind & caring. They have never made me feel embarrassed because of the condition I have allowed my mouth to get in to. I highly recommend them. The first time I went to them was in 2020, I think. I drive 3 1/2 hours each way, close to 400 miles round trip, just to have an appointment with them! I've now had my 2nd recent appointment. They are so kind, gentle, & caring. So thankful to have found them! It's taken me a lifetime to find a dentist that I trust. I'll be 70 on my next birthday! I just went in again for a cleaning. Iris was my Hygienist. I've never had a Hygienist be so gentle! She did an excellent job. In the past, I couldn't even notice anything different after a cleaning. After Iris finished, my teeth feel so good!!! Will only schedule with Iris from now on! I has my teeth cleaned by Iris in February. She was the gentleist hygienist I've ever been to. And, my teeth felt better afterwards than I've ever experienced after a cleaning. Had a small filling done March 11, 2025, with Dr Barney. They are the best I've ever found and will be my Dental Providers from now on.

Fantastic experience: I had a couple of concerns when I went in for my semiannual cleaning. They addressed both of them and answered all my questions. The hygienist was very careful with a sensitive gum issue that I was having but yet tried to help solve the problem. They were very understanding and truly acted concerned to help me with my issues.

Fantastic experience: Only dentist I've been to in Idaho Falls and only one I'll ever go to! Convenient location close to all the restaurants and shipping nearby makes it the ideal place to get any of your cleaning and dental work done! Friendly staff and super clean environment. They have televisions on the ceilings for your viewing pleasure while getting any work done. Would highly recommend

Negative experience: A 30 minute wait time to look at one thing is a bit crazy. When your waiting room was empty the entire time & I showed up 15 minutes early. Then people who showed after me went back first. & remind you this is my first impression of yall. & to sit in the waiting room for that entirety I was able to learn all of the personal drama each receptionist had and what they don’t like about one another. But I didn’t get seen for my tooth I had made the original appointment for. So, thanks for nothing.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Barney and his staff are nothing short of fantastic. I came in with problems that a former dentist ignored that were causing major problems with my health. Dr. Barney evaluated and advised a treatment plan that was quite involved—but very needed—to be to repair the damage and infection I’d unknowingly had for so long. Long story short, it’s been 5 months since I became his patient and after a lengthy surgery 4 months ago, we are seeing positive outcomes and I couldn’t be happier. His office staff are exceptionally kind, caring and friendly as well. I’m so happy I’m his patient!

Fantastic experience: The hygienists that have helped me have all been so nice as well as gentle with my teeth. They pay attention to me needs as a patient. Dr Reese is a great doctor, he is the fourth dentist I have been to in the Rexburg/Idaho Falls area and he will be my last! He has great bedside manner, takes the time to answer questions and unlike other dentist I have been to, does not try to up sell you on needing additional dental work. I have had extensive dental work in the past and have had such negative experiences with staff not being thorough, the dentist not taking me seriously, but at this office, I have no complaints and go out of my way to refer them to my friends and family.
