Fantastic experience: Dr. Yates and Sheena were absolutely amazing!! From the moment I sat in the chair, they made sure I felt comfortable and at ease. Not only were they gentle when working on my teeth, but they also took their time to explain each step of the process and checked in with me repeatedly ensuring I wasn’t experiencing any pain or discomfort. Because they both were so personable, instead of feeling rushed, I felt valued as a patient. The combination of their skill and genuine concern made this one of the best dental experiences I have ever had. If you are looking for compassionate, professional, high-quality dental care, you have found the right place.

Negative experience: I made an appointment for a small filling that had come out. I waited several days to get in. I then drove an hour to get there and waited an hour in the waiting room. The dentist came in and took a look and said I would need to make another appointment to come back to have it filled because she was too busy.

Such a bubbly and fun personality. Mark, the hygienist, was very cool and took care of me, making sure to hear any of my concerns and give me the best treatment possible. Overall great experience.

Negative experience: Incredibly disappointed with the services provided at this facility and absolutely perplexed by the amount of good reviews. The establishment was unprofessional from the time I arrived to months later whenever I'm trying to pay my bill. First, the hygienist was rough and rushed through my cleaning. Second, she recommended x-rays and seemed to barely know how to work the machine... then come to find out that none of it was being charged to my insurance. Now, I have a $300+ bill and despite one employee stating that she would speak to a supervisor about adjusting what I owe and get back to me, whenever I called back, the office employees stated there was no mention of this conversation in my file and they could not offer any discount, only a payment plan. I truly would not recommend their services to my worst enemy. *Update: They sent the bill to collections once I posted this review, despite the fact that I said I would call back and pay the bill in full. That's the type of business this place is.

Fantastic experience: The nurse was very nice and let me hold her hand during the shots lol, and the doctor is always the sweetest and I never feel uncomfortable.

Negative experience: I didn't like this place. I was a new transfer with a pretty extensive dental plan, and growing. At the time 3 of my teeth on bottom side that have been needing root canal were just constantly getting infected. I literally couldn't eat anything but tomato soup for 2 months. I was in dire need of treatment im talking about literal worst pain I've ever had in my life at one point. Constantly throbbing. Had to run cold water in my mouth and spit it out every 30 seconds for hours or it would get unbearable. Dull off for a second than creep right back up. I had antibiotics but almost out.i had to call and ask for emergency appointment where they squeezed me in. This is where I messed up. Had I had a regular appointment I assume I would of gotten a proper exam and the new patient rundown but I definitely didn't. I found the dental assistant to be extremely non chalant and it seemed almost as if I never had her attention. Like her mind was somewhere else. Either way an appointment was made 1 1/2 months out to the first root canal.My infection seemed on the way out so they would not give me any antibiotics...said to call if it came back! It's antibiotics, really! I ate soup for months and half more waiting when they call me the day prior and tell me they made a mistake and they don't have enough time to work on me scheduled out that day. If this wasn't bad enough they didn't even offer any recourse right than. Like two days later after phone tag they got me an appointment like 2 weeks out. I've talked to others and heard similar stories and finding the common factor in our stories is our Medicaid insurance. It's my belief that is the real reason why they did my like this. Most dentists treat Medicaid like the plague for some reason. I assume it's money related. I decided I didn't want to go here but I at least had the decency to call and cancel instead of wasting their time like they did mine in a time of need!

Negative experience: Changed my appointment time without notifying me. I arrived in time and was told I was 45 minutes early for my appointment. The fact that they had already rescheduled this appointment makes it even more unacceptable that they changed the time a second time but without telling me and sending any appointment confirmations, which makes the time change intentional because they had to cancel the automatic appointment notice from being sent. My family will be finding a new dentist. One that is professional and respects the time of their patients.

Negative experience: I was VERY displeased with this place. I have been going here for a few years and never any issues until recently. They have been very lazy. They barely spend anytime on my teeth (I was in and out in 15 mins) which isn't very long. Then they proceed to tell me I have cavities without an x ray proof. I'm sorry but touching my tooth for a split second won't tell you I have cavity unless it's really bad and I'm in pain which I'm not. I got a second opinion on the cavities and I was right there were no cavities. This place just wants my money. No thank you. Also when I had a cavity filled before they numbed my mouth and then proceeded to tell me they couldn't get to me today and come back in an hour to NUMB MY MOUTH AGAIN! very disappointed. Will not come back again and don't recommend unless you like being lied to.

I love the employees who work there, they are truly the best at what they do, and the sweetest, kindest people I have ever met.. Dr. Zhang is the WOW dentist!! Not only does she do great work, she explains every detail associated with your appointment. Fantastic experience: Cleaning went great, worked with the Medicaid that I currently receive through North Carolina. Everyone was great to work with and look forward to coming back! I appreciate Mark for cleaning my teeth and Jaylen (may be spelled wrong) for getting my X-Rays done. I met with Dr. Yates who was friendly and it went great.

Negative experience: Rude front desk that stare you down. Dentist that stated she could not just use numbing gel to fill a small filling. Then stated that “you do you boo boo, i am not allowed to administer numbing gel unless a shot is going in.” News to me! New to Lillington and will definitely not use that office for any of my family again. Things have sure changed in educational background and experience at their offices. Not a very respectable bunch there. Best of luck to others and so happy for the positive comments its great to know that not everyone is treated like unprofessional.

Her staff Jane was so nice and patient and Dr. Zhang explained everything to me before extracting the tooth and had asked more than once if I was doing ok throughout the whole process. She was so great I didn't feel a thing!! I will recommend everyone I know to them!!

Negative experience: Had appointment at 3pm for a filling. They didn’t call me back until 3:30pm then I waited for the dentist… she finally comes in and tells me she has a 2 hour ride to get home never considering that I also have a job and have to plan my week around a dentist appointment! She leaves the room to help someone else while her assistant takes an X-ray. What got me the most is that now she doesn’t have time to work on me today and has her assistant tell me and try to schedule another appointment! I left! I have had it with this place!

Negative experience: I had an appointment made to have my tooth pulled. They couldn't pull because it was infected. I was given an appointment to come back in a few days to let the antibiotic work. THEY called me and said my appointment was cancelled because I didn't respond after a couple of days of a confirmation. My tooth is really abcessed now.

Fantastic experience: Great overall experience at Lane and Associates in Lillington. I was hesitant to change dentist but glad I made the change! Lori did my cleaning and did a thorough job! All of my questions were answered. I was seen on time and she was very professional. On the other hand, the girl at the front desk Skylar, was not very professional and made me feel like I was bothering her by being there for my appointment.

Negative experience: Skylar that works the front desk is very unprofessional. Was supposed to be called back on Friday to let me know what my insurance was supposed to cover. Had to wait for Skylar to call on the day of my appointment what I had to pay. She is so unprofessional and I told her she should have called me back on Friday . She stated she was swamped with work. That is not my problem. I should be completed with the work that I needed done. She doesn't need to be at the front desk, if she is not going to do her job. She doesn't smile, or greet the patients correctly. I am ready to go elsewhere for my dental work.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to the Lillington location for a little over 6 months, for regular cleanings and Invisalign treatment. I have had a great experience so far! They are great with scheduling, price transparency, and quality of service. Dr Zhang she was great! Very kind and great at making a genuine connection during a short appointment time.

Fantastic experience: What an amazing experience! The check in was super easy and the service was great. Had all three of my kids in and out very fast and they didn’t complain at all. Lori took care of one of my kids and treated him so well you’d have thought he was one of her own. Will definitely bring them back.

Negative experience: Timeliness seems to be a problem today, after waiting 20 minutes after our appt time, I asked about if we needed to reschedule,,and miraculously, we got called in to be seen. Not sure of the hold up, but it was not pleasant seeing people arrive after us, and being seen before us

Negative experience: It would really be nice that if you're short-staffed and can't see your scheduled patients that arrived on time and have been on your schedule for several weeks, that you call them prior to them coming 25 minutes out of their way to get to your office. As opposed to informing them when they're already there standing in your face to check in for their appointment. Especially elderly patients.
