Fantastic experience: I just had my crown done and was extremely nervous at first, but the two ladies at the front desk immediately reassured me and made me feel comfortable. The dentist and her assistant were also amazing—kind, patient, and professional. I felt completely safe and well taken care of throughout the entire process. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for excellent dental care.

Fantastic experience: Lane & Associates in Knightdale is the GREATEST dental office!!!! From the front desk to the doctors EVERYONE is so wonderful! Had an appointment this morning with Dr. McMichael and she is the BEST…fast & efficient and she made me feel so comfortable! Happy to continue to frequent this business for my dentistry needs! -I did end up receiving a bill for X-rays that I didn't need and weren't covered by insurance and that is disgruntling. So something to check yourself to ensure they are only performing needed and covered things.

I recently had a broken old crown that broke on a Friday, it’s a front tooth & I was devastated to have to work serving the public. I called the next Monday & was worked in that day for assessment. Same week I was in for repair. I was treated very well with respect and care. The entire staff is caring and professional in every way. I left that Wednesday with a beautiful temporary crown made by Abby. (The temporary crown Queen) Dr. McMicheal did an amazing job as well. I left the office that Wednesday feeling overwhelmed with joy! I felt confident and relieved to head back to work on Thursday. If you’re looking for a great experience, look no further! You won’t be disappointed. <3

Positive experience: I had a great visit today. The two ladies at the front desk that checked me in and out were kind and very helpful. They started out my visit wonderfully! My only complaint is that I did have to wait a while for the actual dentist as they were tied up with another procedure.

Fantastic experience: I wanted to wait until I had a few appointments under my belt before writing this review, and now that I’ve had three different appointments at Lane & Associates, I feel confident sharing how truly incredible this office is. From my very first call to schedule a new patient visit, Tarsha at the front desk was so patient, kind, and welcoming. I didn’t have all of my info right away, but she helped me through the scheduling process! When I had to reschedule, she worked with me cheerfully, and when I finally came in, she greeted me just like she did on the phone: full of joy, smiling from ear to ear. Truly a gem. During that first appointment, I met Ms. Cindy, one of the lead dental assistants, and she was just as wonderful. She took the time to ask questions, understand my dental history, and make sure I felt at ease. You can tell she’s highly experienced and passionate about what she does. I also saw Dr. McMichael, who I’ve trusted at previous practices. As always, her bedside manner is amazingly gentle, informative, and reassuring. She explained everything clearly and connected me with Edwin, who did a periodontal evaluation to determine what type of cleaning I needed. Edwin was so kind, kept checking in to make sure I was comfortable, and made what could’ve been an awkward or uncomfortable process feel smooth and easy. For my second appointment, I came back for a deep cleaning with Edwin, who I specifically requested because of how great he was during my periodontal evaluation. He offered me sunglasses, I put on my headphones, turned on my favorite playlist, and just chilled while he did his magic. Honestly, my teeth felt brand new afterwards. I told Edwin I wish I could come in every week! By my third appointment, I truly felt at home here. Tarsha greeted me again with her bright smile, and I was once again with Dr. McMichael and Ms. Cindy for a follow-up procedure. The TV in the room wasn’t working, so Jazmen kindly let us use her cozy room instead. I appreciated how thoughtful that was. I mentioned earlier that I have dental anxiety, and this team really knows how to care for nervous patients: they offered me a blanket, sunglasses, let me pick a show to watch, and just let me relax with my headphones until it was time to begin. And when it was time for numbing shots (my least favorite part), Dr. McMichael was so gentle I didn’t feel a thing. Watching her and Ms. Cindy work together was like watching a symphony; seamless, quick, and efficient. Before I knew it, we were done. I didn’t even need pain medication afterward. To the entire team: thank you for the exceptional care, for your kindness, and for working together to make the patient experience not only smooth but actually enjoyable. As someone who used to dread dental visits, and currently struggles with dental anxiety, I never thought a dentist appointment could be the highlight of my day but that’s exactly what you’ve done. I’m so grateful I found this practice, and I look forward to continuing my care with you all. Thank you for giving me a reason to smile; literally and figuratively!

From the "polite and friendly" ladies at the reception desk, to the dental assistants, and dentist, they have always been "top shelf" and considerate of my teenagers comfort.

Fantastic experience: I had a great first visit today with Dr. Imbrogno at Line & Associates. Dr. Imbrogno and the Dental nurse Nickkie were polite, professional and respectful. They made sure I am comfortable and made me feel at ease. They also make sure my next visit to be at more convenient location for me. I highly recommend this team. Dr. Imbrogno and Nickkie are amazing.

Negative experience: Per recommendation of my insurance company, I made an appointment for my family with them for our routine cleanings. Our claim was filed under the wrong dentist's name that wasn't covered by my insurance. They also scheduled my daughter's cleaning earlier than 6 months, which was not covered. My husband spent hours over several months on the phone with both parties so it could be resubmitted correctly. One year later, we get a letter from a collection agency to collect $1,500. On their behalf. I have never in my life had an issue with going to the dentist for routine checkups and it not be covered, unless I was called before the appointment to tell me it would not and the appointment was cancelled.

Negative experience: They are very friendly and professional. Every time I come in there I'm always greeted and feel welcome. Dr. Hines is always professional. Jasmine was too and did a great job! Update 6/16/25 Had to change my review grade. Now I have a bad taste in my mouth "figuratively" from the Knightdale location. Had a crown done and was told that my insurance would cover it 100% with no copay...that was a LIE! One of the ladies read the PreD wrong even though it CLEARLY states up there that my insurance would cover 60%. Shoot I see that with my own eyes after I asked for the papers that were sent off, so I don't know how that person didn't see. But they won't take responsibility for that mistake. Was told since that misunderstanding I would still need to get my crown "delivered" and I wouldn't get hassled about paying when I came in....that was a LIE! (TWICE) Took time OFF work for today's appointment, got here and they told me I couldn't be seen until that balance was paid. Well NOBODY told me, shoot the appointment was even confirmed in May. This is the SECOND time someone in that office has changed my appointment/time without my consent, authorization or knowing about it and they DOESN'T seem to care, SMH. This isn't a very good look. Now I'm not about bashing an establishment unless wrongly done, but the LACK of ACCOUNTABILITY and communication is TERRIBLE!!!!! I should have been notified that I couldn't/wouldn't be seen today when they made that decision (which I understand) and I WOULDN'T have taken off of work. I WISH I could give less stars. But there has been some good here.

Fantastic experience: My 3 year old son had his first dentist appointment here on Thursday. The hygienist was SO great with making him feel comfortable and helped him relax to be able to check & clean his teeth. The dentist was amazing with him too, I wish I could remember their names but I’ll be sure to note it when we go back in 6 months and update my review. Even walking out the ladies at the front desk interacted amazingly with him as well. The office provided him with kid flossers in his toothbrush & toothpaste bag which I didn’t even know existed, so we can begin getting him used to flossing! Great staff, well equipped, appears to be a very clean office, easy appointment booking, great with kids.

Negative experience: I recently visited Lane & Associates Family Dentistry in Knightdale for my semi-annual cleaning. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly welcomed by the receptionist, whose professionalism and friendly demeanor truly stood out. The check-in process was smooth and efficiently handled—she was the highlight of my entire visit. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience fell short of expectations. The hygienist appeared to be in a rush, giving the impression that my presence was an inconvenience rather than a patient deserving of care. Despite the fact that my sensitive gums are clearly noted in my records, my discomfort and visible pain were completely disregarded. When the dentist arrived, I received a brief greeting before the conversation quickly shifted to a chat between the dentist and the hygienist. This made me feel like an afterthought—an unwilling third wheel in a conversation that had little to do with my care. The consultation lacked both personalization and professionalism, leaving me feeling dismissed and insulted. While I greatly appreciated the receptionist’s outstanding service, the clinical care I received was disappointing and impersonal. I hope this feedback serves as a constructive prompt for improvement in patient experience and communication.

They tried to reschedule my appointment after missing one confirmation call the day before. After informing them of this they called me a liar. Negative experience: They had an out of network Dentist for my daughters appt and we got stuck with a out of network bill and did not let us know. They also did a cleaning just before 6 months that we have to pay full price for. They also broke my filling during my cleaning. I would never go back to this location. I'm sure many others have been overly billed due to their incompetence of following a dental plans requirements. Even my dental plan called them and told them that is not how it should be done.

Negative experience: Need to revise my review. This is ridiculous. Since January I've tried to get a crown. They need prior authorization. My insurance covers crowns but they only cover metal crowns on molars. But this place is freaking charging me extra for the metal instead of tooth colored. Make it make sense. Would give less than one star if optional. I had a great experience and specifically Edwin the dental hygienist did and amazing job. I'd say the best teeth cleaning I've ever had. Thank you

Nikita is so gentle and kind when she does my cleaning that I genuinely don't mind going. They even have pediatric trained dentists that are great with kids. 100/10, this is a great place for family dentistry.

I had a terrible interaction with the front desk trying to get things straightened out between offices. Decided to forfeit it all and go to Riccobene and they were amazing!

Fantastic experience: I have incredible fear of the dentist and a lot of shame regarding the state of my teeth due to lack of dental care throughout my life. I was put at ease (as much as is possible for me) at Lane in Kinightdale, starting with the incredibly friendly receptionist with the big, beautiful smile who checked me in. My anxiety prevented me from getting the tech’s name but she was incredibly kind, compassionate, and friendly. Dr. McIntosh was also so lovely. No one disregarded my fears or treated me like I was ridiculous for being so anxious and uncomfortable. They were all very reassuring and sweet. I can’t say that I’m looking forward to coming back for my future treatments (because let’s be real, I’m still terrified) but I do feel confident that I have found a team that will give me excellent, kind, and compassionate care and for that I am grateful.

Positive experience: I have visited this office one time, and everything was okay until today. I was supposed to have a routine cleaning, and when I arrived, the office assistant informed me that I have to wait 6 more days for the cleaning to be covered with my insurance. Well, I would highly prefer to be informed about it BEFORE I arrive, since I have to take time off from work and drive 30 minutes to this place. I will come back, but I would highly recommend this office to prepare in advance for a visit.
