Negative experience: Western dental the worst place to go they wouldn't even take my insurance to get all my teeth done it would cost me $2,000 plus if you try to get appointment good luck with that does it take you weeks they don't have affordable they want you to pay out of your pocket then go on commercials and say they're affordable and they work with you no they don't very unprofessional I went to American dental and they did all my work it didn't cost me a dime and I'm going to be getting full dentures for free which probably would have cost me with Western dental two to three grand Western Downs for rich people not middle class or poor people

Negative experience: The orthodontist was very rude. This is by far the worst dental office I have been too.

Negative experience: This company will rip you off completely. DONT Go!

Negative experience: No stars as they said the fax machine was down and they expected me to take a paper for my cardiologist to sign off on for me to get treatment or not, they did not care I had limited transportation to do it. So if your under the care of a cardiologist do not go here especially if you do not have reliable transportation.

Fantastic experience: Tess (hygienist) did wonderful! Very quick and effective!! I'm thankful for her.

Negative experience: Very unprofessional institute . I called for an appointment and they gave me and my husband an appointment within 3 weeks then when I took off from my work and went for the appointment, the front desk lady was “oh we are sorry our scheduling team overbooked the appointment we have to cancel both of your appointments “ and she said next available appointment is after 3 months. Very very disappointed.

Negative experience: Would give negative stars. I have my personal beliefs about general dentistry western dentals to be specific but when my wife goes in to get her wisdom teeth pulled there was a mishap and she couldn’t breathe following the operation. Choking on gauze to the point the dr ordered the 911 services. All while sitting in the parking lot with my kids no phone call notifying the emergency contact. No communication that’s put in place for events like this. This Place is a joke pay the money for a better dentist Because they won’t call in the event of an emergency. I even went inside and asked the “floor supervisor” what I needed to do for her after operation care and was met with a we explained everything to her. didn’t care to explain to the person who’s doing the after care. Asked what I needed to do if something were to happen again she referred me to just call 911 becuase they know already.

Negative experience: If I could give zero stars, I would. This office was extremely unhelpful during an emergency. My brother was hit in the face and in severe pain. They initially said they could see him, but while we were on our way, they called and said the dentist wouldn’t be available. They claimed they couldn’t verify our insurance, even though we offered to pay out of pocket due to the urgency. Their only excuse was a scheduling issue. This lack of professionalism and compassion is unacceptable. I will never return to this office.

Fantastic experience: Tess has been so wonderful and attentive. I came in 5 months ago and hadn't seen a dentist in around 20 years. Needless to say I was very nervous. She was amazing, took my anxiety right away. Made me feel comfortable and unashamed for my lack of dentist visits.

Negative experience: I have scheduled 2 different times here, first time I scheduled was for a rct I asked if they did rct here and was told yes the do it at this location, a whole week goes by and I get a call a day before to be told they don't, ok I cancel, I call again to schedule my kids and again a whole week goes by and again the day before I get a call and I'm told they don't see kids younger then 14, all this information needs to be told at the time of scheduling. Waste of time specially since my son is in pain

Fantastic experience: Received braces treatment from the Orthodontist Dr Akash and everything went smoothly according to the time estimated. Very friendly and professional staff, Akash even gave me an extra set of retainers at no extra cost highly recommend they also have affordable payment plans

Negative experience: The call representatives are a nightmare to deal with. They are in dire need of proper training. I called to make an appointment, and update contact info on file, they scheduled the appointment for today at 10AM, come to find out the office was closed. I go to call to see what is going on and to my surprise they actually scheduled me for Wednesday, they had updated the wrong number. I call to come to some resolution and have a better understanding, they then schedule me for an appointment today at 1:45 at Visalia(they do not give me an exact location) because the appointment was for my mother she had let me know she rather keep the appointment for Wednesday. I call back ask for info several times and aren’t able to pull up an appointment for today at Visalia, I later found out there’s more than one location(wasn’t communicated this info the first time) they have me on wait for nearly 20 minutes just to tell me they aren’t able to help because of there policy. I’m baffled at this point because at this point I’ve spoken to several representatives and I can’t even get scheduled and be given the correct date nor can I cancel an appointment with our such hassle.

Negative experience: Went in for tooth pain , first time there. They could not complete my appt had me come back another day . Once there they explained treatment, but had to wait for another dentist to extract the tooth which he only came once a month . I was also there for a cleaning but yet again I had to schedule another appointment all they did was try in push to buy an electric tooth brush and more of their products .Wait time was lengthy yet i was told morning appts are in and out fast . Won’t be going back .

Negative experience: Emergency dental options should not be advertised. My regular dentist can't see me for a week, so I called for an emergency tooth extraction, scheduled and went to my appointment. Was told upon arriving that their dentist do not pull teeth....ummm...ok and a specialist comes once a month to extract teeth. This is insane. The next available appointment is October 17th, what in the world?! Definitely do not recommend. Waste of time.

Fantastic experience: Great service today!! Esmeralda, Jovana and Jenn helped me in the front. Had trouble with my insurance and they took care of me super quick. Dr Vasquez, Zinnia and Stephanie helped my sons and I in the back. Dr Vasquez explained everything really well and gave me advice for my sons. And last but not least, Tess took care of my sons cleanings. She was very professional and took care of them both quickly. Highly recommended!!

Fantastic experience: Very friendly and helpful! Jennifer greeted and helped with all the paperwork. Vanessa(from Tulare office)took my x-rays and had me laughing and calmed my anxiety immediately! Tess (hygienist) was very gentle and gave me all the info needed! This office is professional, courteous, and calmed my nerves! Dr. Vasquez is friendly and gave me a plan to tackle my dental issues! He does talk very fast, but I understood the plan. He gave me several options, one being cost-effective. Implants are a no-brainer, but I have to see another Dr. for that! I’ll update this review once I see him! I also need to review once the work starts…So far, I recommend this dental team!

The Hygienist Maritess D. took well care of my teeth explaining to me what i need to do to maintain healthy teeth and gums. Highly recommend if you need a dentist 10/10

Fantastic experience: Have not been to a dentist in 7 years, my fault and total neglect on my part, as part of my treatments needed, I was required a deep cleaning on top of my wisdom tooth removal. The deep cleaning procedure couldnt have been more pleasant and painless, couldnt have asked for a better experience, Tess definitely knows whats shes doing! Would highly recommend seeing her for a deep cleaning if needing, definitely professional and comforting, she made sure to ask how I was doing during the whole procedure every few minutes. Tess is awesome!

Negative experience: This was the MOST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE ANYONE COULD EVER EXPERIENCE MY DAUGHTERS FACE WAS COMPLETELY SWOLLEN THEY DID NOT DO A GOSH DAM THING PULLED HER TOOTH OUT AND SENT HER ON HER WAY! ALSO SHE HAS AN ABSCESS AND DID NOT GIVE HER ANY ANTIBIOTICS NOTHING !! TOLD HER SHE COULD GET A SECOND OPINION WOW !!!I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE GOING THERE EVER!! What if it was there daughter or mother for that matter you don’t treat people like that !!!

Fantastic experience: Good morning, After a very long time of procrastinating about my oral health and well-being I decided to make an appointment with my local Western Dental. I arrived early so I could fill out my paperwork and give myself time to come up with a great story to explain why I’ve waited so long to return to see a dentist. The paperwork process went smoothly and I was soon directed to a small room where I met Cynthia. Who knew such a small room could hold so much fun and great conversation. Cynthia was clearly great at her job taking and processing my X-rays but during this short time our conversation was fun and professional. It really set my mood and made me feel relaxed and happy about my long awaited visit to the dentist. I’m a believer that our frontline staff members can really set the fun professional tone of the company’s business model and Cynthia did just that. Thank you so much, Robert B

Negative experience: I am surprised of the rating because our experience with this office has been the complete opposite. Our daughter got braces there, we paid our balance and for the last 6-7 months has been unable to get a follow up appointment. Excuses have been numerous, no doctor, no return calls, no answer and the list goes on and on. We've paid unfortunately for us Western Dental essentially just took our money and ran. Our experience with this office has been well below what's expected. Maybe someone with some leadership and concern for their patients can actually respond.

Fantastic experience: Had a pleasant experience at Western Dental, all thanks to Zinnia. She went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and that I was called to the back in a timely manner. Zinnia was very friendly and provided excellent service.
